Holidaymakers should stop by at the famous Nikki Beach Club to experience for themselves the food, drinks and atmosphere that gives this place such a stellar reputation.

3. Key West

Among the Florida Keys, Key West has an abundance of islands to explore and the shallow water around the beaches and archipelagos is perfect for younger children to practise their snorkelling and kayaking. A visit on land is a must to see the Earnest Hemingway Home and Museum, the Audubon House & Tropical Gardens and the winter home of President Harry S. Truman, set within the picturesque and verdant town.

4. Key Largo

Key Largo is excellent for Scuba divers for all ability levels with gentle drift diving in the Gulf Stream for beginners, and wreck dives and sites such as Christ of the Abyss for the more experienced. Snorkelers also have the opportunity to see and swim with sea turtles, manatees and whales at such locations as the Key Largo Undersee Park.

5. Ten Thousand Islands

Only Marco Island is inhabited amongst the Ten Thousand Islands at the south-western tip of Florida, leaving an abundance of untouched verdant isles to discover by paddleboard or kayak. Snorkel with dolphins and manatee within this national wildlife refuge, then use the fine grain beaches to rest and recuperate before a romantic sunset meal at your secluded retreat.

6. Clearwater

The powder-soft white sand beach of Clearwater might be where you want to spend your whole holiday, but the area has a myriad more sights and activities to explore: Swim with dolphins, windsurf or learn how to jet ski in the crystal clear waters, then join the parties in the local bars or host your own aboard your superyacht.

Fishing is particularly good in the Gulf Stream off the coast, and charter guests can take an afternoon to laze in the sunshine while catching lunch.

7. Sarasota

The gentle waves and shallow water at Lido Key Beach make this stretch of coast a hit with young families, while those looking for more privacy for a romantic candlelit meal have Passage Key and Egmont Key State Park. Snorkel, Scuba dive and kayak through mangroves and watch schools of fish swimming beneath your group.

As a town with a burgeoning artists' community, a visit to Sarasota will be filled with crafts and opportunities to find statement pieces for your home and that memorable souvenir of your trip.

8. Sanibel Island

Nature lovers will feel reinvigorated on Sanibel Island, where the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge covers half of the land and children will be enthralled by the 250 different kinds of shells washed ashore at Sanibel Beach.

Shop at the scenic Periwinkle Place before returning to the coast to watch a captivating sunset, then party the night away on you sundeck and enjoy a cocktail under the stars.

9. Captiva Island

North of Sanibel Island, the western beaches continue and visitors can stroll along the sands for miles, snorkel with fish and other friendly sea creatures or zip through the water with the Seabobs and jet skis from the water toys collection on board. 

There is little to do but relax and play games with family and friends - a perfect escape for quality time together after visiting towns bursting with land-based attractions.

As the name suggests, this town takes its architectural inspiration from Italy and caters to the luxury lifestyle with high-end shops, golf courses and miles of white sand beach where the group can play games or take a stroll along the pier.

Bella Roma is a 70′ luxury motor yacht rental in Destin, Florida, servicing all of Fort Walton Beach, Miramar Beach, and surrounding areas throughout the Florida panhandle. This Destin yacht charter is perfect for family vacations, romantic getaways, or just relaxing with friends. We currently have three standard booking options for a maximum of 13 passengers on each cruise. These are bareboat cruises where you can either provide your own US Coast Guard licensed captain or choose one from our list of approved captains.

Choose the length of time you’re interested in and click on that option. Reserve your spot with a $1,000 deposit (plus taxes and fees) and we’ll charge your card for the remaining balance the week of your charter.

On the day of your charter, plan to arrive at the marina 15 minutes before your reservation so we can get everyone on board and depart on time. Bring any prepared food or adult beverages you’d like to enjoy. We’ll cruise around Destin Harbor, Choctawhatchee Bay, the Narrows (Intercoastal Waterway) and Crabb Island depending on what you’d like to see and do.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. • If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

Palm Beach Vitruvius is capable of more than coastal cruising, though. The vessel can also carry out transoceanic voyages, with a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles.

On top of that, Palm Beach Vitruvius will look plenty elegant on the high seas. The cruiser showcases the streamlined hull that has become synonymous with Vitruvius. Briand, both a naval architect and yacht designer, has previously penned sailing yachts and thus knows a thing or two about creating a sleek silhouette.

The studio didn’t share any details regarding layout or amenities but acknowledges that comfort is paramount for a truly exceptional yachting experience. As per the renders, Palm Beach Vitruvius is packed with plush features, such as an expandable beach club with an infinity pool and a scenic sundeck with a Jacuzzi and bar. She also is equipped with a large sun pad and lounge on the foredeck and multiple alfresco lounge and dining areas on the aft decks.

It shouldn’t be too long before we see Palm Beach Vitruvius cruising the seas, either. “Designed by one of the world’s most well-known naval architects, it is more than a concept,” Kevin Ralph, a broker with Worth Avenue Yachts, said in a statement. “This fully engineered project is currently out to bid by three world-renowned yacht yards and will be ready to commence building shortly.”

• Eight megayachts are expected to be on display for would-be buyers and charter customers.
• These are the show's biggest yachts — and how many millions of dollars they are going for.

The Palm Beach International Boat Show — the yacht world's flashiest event stateside — is returning this year with over 800 boats for both deep-pocketed potential owners and window shoppers to peruse.

While it's impossible to know what exactly will be on display until the show begins on Thursday, it's expected that eight megayachts — generally defined as ships over 60 meters long — will be docked at the show and at nearby marinas like the Rybovich Marina in the ritzy Florida town.

Some of these are for sale at eye-popping prices, but others are available to charter in case you fancy living like a billionaire for a week or two this summer (and if you have six figures to spare on a vacation).
