ARIENCE Yacht for Charter

In 2012, Abeking & Rasmussen launched the 199'8" (60.9m) ARIENCE. A bold and powerful motor yacht, she has been designed for luxury cruising and can welcome up to 12 guests. The yacht’s interior styling and exterior lines are the inspiration of Reymond Langton Design and she offers the highest standards of accommodation and leisure amenities. The guests sleep in seven wonderful staterooms where they can enjoy comfort and privacy, while the shared social areas are ideal for entertaining. The yacht’s beam of 42' (12.8m) means she has plenty of interior volume and deck space. ARIENCE’s MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and take her to a 14-knot maximum speed. Thanks to a refit in 2017, the yacht is in impressive condition.

The guests step on board to be welcomed by an expert and friendly crew of 18. This professional team is always on hand to deliver the ultimate charter experience. This includes suggesting the finest destinations, making reservations for restaurants, spas, beach clubs and entertainment ashore, and organizing fun trips in the tender. The 200ft / 60.9m ARIENCE has been constructed with a steel hull and is powered by 2x MTU 8V-2000M4A with a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.

Formally EXCELLENCE V, 60.9m ARIENCE was launched by the renowned German yacht builders Abeking & Rasmussen in 2012, with her most recent refit in 2017. Luxury superyacht ARIENCE (ex Excellence V) was designed by Raymond Langton Designs and launched by German Abeking Rasmussen in 2012. She boasts a stunning dark blue hull with elegant lines measuring 60.93m (199' 11"). ARIENCE is the largest 60m superyacht by volume at 1632 gross tons. She can accommodate up to 12 charter guests in 7 deluxe cabins. Refitted in 2022: 10 year survey and full paintjob, Full engineering overhaul and inspections, On the interior, the Master and Cinema carpets have been replaced (like for like), All cinema chairs replaced and all interior will be brought back to new with marble polishing, re-chroming, wood, leather and glass repairs etc. On the exterior, all cushions replaced with new set of colours and fabrics. Exterior sound system upgraded with new speakers and subwoofers.

Motor yacht ARIENCE has a contemporary naturally earthy toned interior with vibrant accents of colour subtly added through fine art and soft throws. There are 5 impressive decks, a glass elevator amidships joins them seamlessly, panoramic windows on each deck ensure ample natural light and a feel of endless space are achieved.

Adjoined to the aft deck lounge, entering through glass doors guests are welcomed into a relaxing lounge space featuring a plush, cool ice blue L shaped sofa, occasional chairs and complete wet bar set upon beautifully polished light floors. Hints of alluring reds add pizazz. Forward of the lounge, the formal dining area is separated by a credenza with pop up TV. Set grandly in the centre of the space, the room is generous, boasting full-length windows on port and starboard. The main foyer is forward and starboard giving access to the dining and salon; a powder room is also in the foyer. Five guest cabins are forward of the foyer on the main deck.

The upper deck is ideal for entertaining. Aft, guests may enjoy alfresco lounging on partially shaded ample sofas. The deck continues indoors where the upper salon boasts a more relaxed feel with centred white sofas, blue occasional chairs and games tables; massive windows create an open and airy feel.

The remainder of the upper deck houses the Master suite and a king size guests suite. The master suite has modern, serene atmosphere with lovely light tones of creams and natural woods; the king size centre lined bed faces forward allowing panoramic 180-degree views from the wrap around windows, overhead a skylight draws in the further natural light. The cabin offers a large sofa, two armchairs, private study and his and hers marble facilities, each complete with Spa Pool tubs. Motor Yacht ARIENCE boasts a private foredeck for the master suite with ample sun pads, plenty of optional shade and a Spa Pool.

This yacht offers a king size en-suite guest cabin located to port of the master suite accessed via the master suite's private lobby.

The bridge deck is expansive and partially shaded offering an alfresco dining option with endless views. The beautifully appointed outdoor sports bar located forward of the al fresco dining ensures crisp cool drinks are on hand. The comfortable outdoor lounge area is a casual space to enjoy a good book or entertain. Further aft a large sunpad is ideal for sunning or simply watching the world go by.

Luxury motor yacht ARIENCE features a spacious sundeck. The layout is both unique and incredibly well thought out. A Spa Pool tub with glass front, bar top and infinity waterfall backdrop, and fitted exterior seating are perfect for all to enjoy. Large sunpads both fore and aft, plus a cocktail seating area give guests plenty of relaxing options, while removable sunshades ensure ultimate comfort.

ARIENCE has further entertainment areas below decks. There is a fitness gym with fold-down balcony, full wall mirror and powder room/shower on her port side with access to the main deck and aft deck. On the starboard side amidships lower deck, a beach club terrace folds out complete with plush seating, wet bar and access to the main deck. A full cinema is fitted with the latest technology and state of the art amenities just forward of the beach club, with shared powder room.

On the upper deck, the port guests cabin is adjacent to the master suite accessed from the private lobby. The cabin offers a king size walk around bed, vanity and en-suite facilities with shower. All other guests cabins are on the main deck forward of the salon and dining, thus giving guests ample space to enjoy and allowing each cabin to receive plenty of natural light. Starboard and forward of the foyer is a twin cabin with 2 single beds, vanity and en-suite facilities with shower, followed by a double cabin forward with walk around king size bed, vanity and en-suite facilities with shower. Further forward the VIP cabin boasts a king size walk around bed, a full length mirrored wall, vanity, walk-in closet, en-suite facilities with Spa Pool tub and shower. Port forward a large cabin features a king size walk around bed, vanity, walk-in closet and en-suite facilities with a Spa Pool tub and shower. A further guests cabin is port featuring 2 single beds, vanity and en-suite facilities with shower. Built to serve the charter market, the ARIENCE yacht offers a level of amenities you’d expect from a much larger yacht, including an owner’s deck and a waterside spa and gym.

A central elevator connects all decks, allowing you to easily move from the Jacuzzi on the sun deck down to the lower deck cinema and anywhere in between.

Interior Design & Engineering

The ARIENCE yacht was built by Abeking & Rasmussen specifically to serve the charter market, which she has done with great success since her 2012 launch.

She was designed to offer all the amenities of a 78-metre yacht but in a much smaller hull. At 60.93 metres, and with an abundance of luxuries, ARIENCE has done exactly that.

Her interior, designed by Reymond Langton, is finished in a range of luxurious materials like leather walls, crocodile tabletops, velvet chairs, and marble floors.

Your ARIENCE yacht charter can accommodate 12 guests in seven cabins. The owner’s suite features a separate office and a generous cabin that overlooks the owner’s deck through a curved wall that’s lined with large windows. Home to a Jacuzzi surrounded by day beds, it’s a fun and private space that you can enjoy day or night. The rest of the party will sleep across four doubles and two twins.

Yacht Facilities & Entertainment

Your ARIENCE yacht charter is sure to be fun-filled, with a main salon that’s got plenty of space for hosting. Enjoy an aperitif or two with your guests at the sit-up bar and lounge before you head through to the adjoining formal dining room.

Head to the bridge deck to enjoy a more casual alfresco meal, then retire to the sofas aft as you nurse another drink.

The light-flooded upper deck salon is perfectly designed for relaxed conversations or quiet comfort, whilst a cinema offers the ultimate spot for sitting back and enjoying a screening of one of your favourite films.

The sun deck of this luxury superyacht offers lots of space to enjoy the sunshine as you take in the exceptional views. You can choose between the forward-facing sofa or the curved day beds on the foredeck, both of which can be shaded by biminis if you wish. The aft of the sun deck has a Jacuzzi spa with a sit-up bar at its head and more day beds that look over the stern.

ARIENCE features

ARIENCE is a luxurious 60m charter superyacht that was custom-built by Abeking & Rasmussen. Offering exceptional volume, she was designed with the combined expertise of her highly-experienced yacht owner and well-respected Captain and crew. Her compact size and stunning array of onboard features ensure she’s equally at home cruising the French Riviera or the Caribbean. As a winner of the 2013 ISS Award for Best Motor Yacht in her class, ARIENCE is the ideal charter yacht.

With seven sumptuous ensuite staterooms, ARIENCE can welcome up to 12 guests onboard overnight. She also has onboard accommodation for her outstanding charter crew of 16. A sumptuous penthouse-style master suite is located on the private owner’s deck. Opening into his and hers bathrooms with a Jacuzzi and shower, the suite also has walk-in wardrobes and a private study. Outside, the private terrace is equipped with a Jacuzzi, sunpads and an intimate seating area with panoramic sea views. On the main deck you’ll find five beautifully-decorated double/twin staterooms including a superb VIP suite with an ensuite Jacuzzi. ARIENCE’s versatile guest accommodation also includes a guest suite on the upper deck which is ideal for use by children or staff.

On the main deck, an elegant foyer with a glass lift leads into the main salon and dining area. Styled as an open-plan living space, the salon features a comfortable seating area with a deco-style wet bar. A central credenza with a hidden television separates the salon from the formal dining salon which seats 12 guests.

The upper deck of this charter yacht is perfect for socialising with a bright and spacious lounge overlooking the ocean. And the lower deck has been designed as an entertainment zone with a beach club, open-air gym plus a lavish cinema room.

On the bridge deck, you’ll find ARIENCE’s large sports bar with a built-in seating area and a widescreen TV. CHARTER BY ROYAL YACHT INTERNATIONAL

Arience is a yacht built for a connoisseur – a true classic, she is the perfect example of best in class Northern European building and continues to storm the charter market as one of the highest pedigree yachts in her size category. With a comparable tonnage to a 70m-75m yacht, she presents enormous volume but in a more flexible package in terms of accessibility to certain anchorages and ports. Accommodating guests in 7 cabins – 3 double and 2 twin cabins on the main deck, with the Master Suite and the 7th cabin on the owner’s deck above, she is able to carry 12 guests and 2 staff. On the lower deck, there is a full cinema with reclining chairs, an open waterside gym and separate bar / spa lounging. On the main deck, in addition to the guests cabins, there is a welcoming bar and lounge area, interior dining room and welcoming half-moon exterior seating. On the Owner’s deck, travelling forward through the private office with the 7th cabin to the port side is the Master suite with a 180-degree view and large private deck with seating and jacuzzi, his and her bathrooms (with bath and shower). To the aft of the Owner’s deck, is a large and welcoming lounge with card table and opens onto the exterior deck where there is a bar and sofas. The bridge deck is all about the exterior with a large buffet for serving, dining table for 12 with wrap-around windbreaks to protect from the elements and cosy seating. On the sundeck is the spa pool with waterfall and forward seating area. All decks are connected by the central circular lift. Arience is led by the enthusiastic and massively experienced Captain Dean Pilatti and supported by the extremely talented Chef Dean Harrison, with an attentive interior team led by Lizzie and Jasmin, and an fit and eager watersports deck crew armed with brand new water toys.

How much does it cost to charter a yacht?

There are many things to consider and first time charterers can be left confused, that's why we've created a comprehensive guide to yacht charter prices (with a checklist).

The good news: It’s easy to grasp the basics of yacht charter pricing. And with one of our experts in your corner, we can help you more accurately estimate the cost of your next once-in-a-lifetime vacation.

The cost of a yacht charter is dependent on a number of factors, including the type of yacht, the charter destination, local taxes, and the base cost. (If the yacht has a celebrity owner, well that too, can add to the cost.)

Therefore, yacht charters have a wide range of base prices. That’s why charters can cost from $10,000 per week on smaller sailing yachts and catamarans, up to $150,000+ per week on the most luxurious motor superyachts.

Yacht Charter Price Structure: “All-Inclusive” vs “Plus Expenses”

In the world of yachting, two types of crewed yacht charters are available to you – “All-Inclusive” and “Plus Expenses” charter experiences. What do these terms mean exactly? Here’s a quick look:

• All-Inclusive Yacht Charters – Some charters (mainly catamaran and monohull charters in the Virgin Islands) offer all-inclusive rates. That means rates are based on the number of guests, and they include all food and drink, water sports, and fuel costs. Dockage and taxes, though, are usually charged separately.
• Plus Expenses Charters – Rates for larger motor yachts do not include running expenses, which must be paid separately. For these luxury charters, the base price is for the yacht only. Additional expenses, i.e. food, bar, fuel, dockage, port taxes, and other expenses, are charged separately. Most frequently, the running expenses are paid by an Advance Provisioning Allowance, or APA, which is typically 35% of the base price; this is an amount that’s paid prior to the charter.

What can you expect to pay for a catamaran, a sailing vessel, or motored yacht? Here’s a quick overview of the average cost to rent a yacht (not including extra expenses) for the most common types available:

Factors that Affect Yacht Charter Prices

Since charter yachts are privately owned, prices are set by the owner. This can explain, in part, the wide range of differences in price between boats of similar lengths. Yet, several other factors can significantly impact price, including:

• The Yacht – The year the boat was built, the builder, previous owners, and the boat’s selection of water toys can also increase the cost of a yacht. Boats can also develop a reputation, i.e. the largest or most luxurious, or having a famous builder or previous owner. Reputation can also affect pricing.
• Season – Prices typically increase in the high season – i.e. high summer in the Mediterranean or winter in the Caribbean – and decrease in low seasons.
• Destination – Your charter destination also plays a role in charter cost. For example, prices increase in areas without large charter fleets (i.e. the Galapagos), whereas Bahamas yacht charters,   BVI charters , or Mediterranean yacht charter are priced more competitively.

Additional Costs Considerations on Yacht Charter

In addition to the cost associated with running the yacht and provisioning, there are a number of other costs that must be considered. These are the most significant:

Advanced Provisioning Allowance

The APA on Plus Expenses charters equals roughly 35% of the yacht’s base price. This is a fee that’s collected prior to charter, and it’s similar to an expense account the captain can access during the charter. At the end of the charter, you will receive a detailed accounting of your APA account, plus any unused APA funds in cash.

In the case of overages, you may be required to replenish the APA account during the charter. This can be done with cash, although many choose to set up accounts with their charter brokers , which can be accessed if requested by the captain.

Taxes and Value Added Tax (VAT)

Most boats – whether all-inclusive or Plus Expenses – will not include local taxes or a Value Added Tax into their charter rate. The charterer will be responsible for paying those taxes. Taxes range significantly by destination; here’s a look at some of yachting’s most popular destinations:

• The Bahamas – Tax: 4% plus 10% VAT
• BVI – Tax: between $6 and $16 per person per day, depending on the flag of the boat
• Croatia – VAT: 13%
• Florida – Tax: 6% for Broward County, 7% for Miami-Dade County
• France – VAT: 20%, however, 10% can be applied when an itinerary includes International Waters
• Greece – VAT: 12%
• Italy – VAT: 22%, however 6.6% (over 24m) and 8.8% (under 24m) can be applied when an itinerary includes International Waters
• Montenegro – NO VAT
• New England – NO TAX
• Spain – VAT: 21%
• Turkey – NO VAT

Charterers can purchase cancellation and curtailment insurance – which is similar to traveler’s insurance. This insurance can help cover costs if a charterer must cancel or shorten the charter. Charter brokers can help you weigh insurance options, and often offer several different options.

Crew Gratuity

While crew gratuity is certainly not mandatory, it is recommended, particularly if you were truly impressed with your charter experience. In general, crew gratuity is roughly 15-20% of the base charter rate, which is handed to the captain at the conclusion of your charter.

Delivery Fees

While these fees do not apply on most charters, you may be asked to pay delivery costs if you are not chartering in the yacht’s normal cruising ground. In most cases, you will only be required to cover the fuel for the trip.

What does it cost to rent a 100- foot yacht charter?

This depends on what type of vessel you’re looking at and how long you’ll need it for. The average weekly cost of a 100-foot sailing yacht is between $50,000-100,000. A weekly 80-foot catamaran charter runs around $40,000-100,000, and a week-long 100-foot motor yacht rental is anywhere between $50,000-80,000.

Does the price to rent a yacht change depending on what type of boat it is?

Yes. Worldwide Boat offers sailing yachts, catamarans, and motor yachts. All of these vessels have different capabilities, but there are other factors that determine the price beyond what type of boat you choose. When is the high season for yacht charters?

The price of a yacht fluctuates depending on the season. A Mediterranean yacht charter cost rises in the summer and drops in the winter, whereas Caribbean boat charter prices are high during the winter and lower in the summer months.

How does my destination affect charter yacht cost?

The more remote an area is, the more expensive it will be to charter a yacht there. That’s because prices go up in areas that have fewer boats. If you were to travel somewhere like the Galapagos, which isn’t a typical yacht destination, you’d pay more than you would if you were traveling to the Caribbean.

How much do I tip the crew when reviewing my yacht charter expenses?

It’s not required that you tip your crew, but it is recommended and appreciated. If you had an enjoyable experience it’s considered polite to tip your crew anywhere from 15-20% at the end of your charter.
