I hate it for the function. So wasted. When would I ever use a ten minute regatta timer? Looks are okay. It's different and less seldom seen, which is nice.

I absolutely hate that watch. I think it's ugly as hell. The worst part is the tacky "Yachmaster II" on the bezel. It just looks like it was designed by someone that used to work for Fisher Price.
There must have been some talk at Rolex that went like 'hey we need a watch that caters to new rich people who decorate their house like the palace of Versailles but have a childhood trauma of never being able to win a watch at the local fair' They nailed it

It's bold, ostentatious, gaudy, and over-complicated. I personally love it. But I like the earlier versions with the blue hands if I'm being honest. It's all matter of personal taste. Some people love the Milgauss, some hate it. They don't have to spend their money on it. As far as using all the complications, meh. I have three pairs of running shoes and I don't run, and an Apple Watch with a million apps, and I use about 3.
Thanks! Its amazing the hate some people seem to have for this piece. Its one thing to say you dont like it, but some people take it a bit far. And I agree re function. Problem is that most of the population don't know how to use the function. I will bet even some folks on WUS don't know how to use it. The function is pointless for the general population. It's never going to be a popular Rolex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
