Ticket To  is a beautiful Sparkman and Stephens designed cutter built by Queen Long Marine, well known for their excellent Hylas Yachts. The yachts were overseen by Bill Stevens and are well known for their sea kindliness, comfort, and speed.

Ticket To features a 3 stateroom, 2 head interior layout with a below deck steering station, well-designed galley, and comfortable seating around a teak dining table. The interior joinery work is in impeccable condition

Powered by a powerful cutter rig under sail or a 77 hp Yanmar diesel engine, she excels in any weather conditions.

One of the best features of the boat is the 180-degree shatterproof quartz windows that give good visibility from down below and a wealth of interior lighting.

She has been very well maintained by an experienced owner with constant upgrades during his 15-year ownership.

These include a recent topnotch  awl grip paint job on both the hull and the deck and cabin top.

The Stevens 50 ph is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is very stable / stiff and has a good righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is excellent. There is an excellent water supply range.

Ticket to … is one of the last Stevens 50 PH constructed in the Queen Long Marine Shipyard. Ticket to is a Sparkman & Stephens designed pilothouse 50’, aft cockpit, cutter rigged and three stateroom cruising sailboat. Designed for ocean passage and long range cruising.

Accommodations:Unique feature are 180 degree shatter proof quartz windows in saloon, nav station and a functional, light and airy galley down two steps forward of the saloon. A private head with shower in the owners stateroom and a head with shower forward serving two guest cabins.

Ticket to…hasbeen continually updated throughout our ownership the past 15 years. She has just beenrepainted with Awlgrip on both the deck and topsides. The teakwood in the cockpit has been removed and will be replaced in the fall of 2021once our carpenter returns to Florida.

• SA : Sail area in square feet, derived by adding the mainsail area to 100% of the foretriangle area (the lateral area above the deck between the mast and the forestay).

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be.
