Virtuoso is a yacht that dazzles both inside and out and her steel-grey hull characterises the contemporary design, which aims to capture all the positives of the traditional gulet and update them for the 21st Century. Her schooner rig and soaring white sails stand proud over a deck and interiors lavished with luxurious touches. Star of the show is her impressive flybridge, which boasts a bar, dining table for 12, barbecue grill and removable sun shade. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast here, cooled by the gentle morning breeze, perhaps returning again at the end of the day’s adventures to enjoy sunset drinks at the bar, prepared by the ever-attentive crew. She is based in Lavrion and offers charters around the Cyclades Islands and the Saronic Gulf.

Enchanting views of the Greek islands and passing scenery can also be enjoyed from the comfortable divans and sun beds on the foredeck, with a separate, spacious dining area also to be found on the aft deck. Stepping inside, a large saloon and dining area leads down to the thoughtfully-designed deck below, where generously-sized cabins offer attractive and flexible accommodation options for large families, groups of friends and mixed parties. Separate master cabins featuring king-size beds can be found at the fore and aft, furnished in elegant tones with luxurious linens. These master cabins are complemented by two comfortable double cabins and a twin cabin, all fully air-conditioned and offering en suite bathrooms with the high-quality fittings. A single cabin (no bathroom) is also available for those travelling with a nanny.

Virtuoso’s crew of six include a knowledgeable captain, a talented chef and a team of charming deckhands. They are on hand to help you take advantage of the yacht’s selection of marine toys which include two sets of water-skis, canoes, a paddleboard and inflatable ringos. Your captain will recommend the very best spots for you to snorkel, to discover hidden coves or to venture onshore to explore traditional villages where time has seemingly stood still for generations.

• In High & Mid Seasons, 7 night, Sat-Sat charters are mandatory.
• In Low Season, shorter charters are possible on request.
• An APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) payment is required to cover all expenses on board - 35% of the value of the charter.
• At the end of the charter, an expense report, backed up by receipts, will be presented by the captain. Any over payment will be refunded by the captain or if more funds are required, the balance can be settled directly with the captain in cash.

We aim to bring you our unique blend of western business culture and a thoroughly local experience on both our own stunning gulet in Turkey, along with some other additions to the fleet and with our partners’ gulets in Montenegro and Croatia. Sailing holidays in Turkey, Greece, Montenegro and Croatia are a fantastic way to view the beautiful Mediterranean, Aegean and Adriatic coasts.   We are passionate about providing the perfect holiday for each of our guests. All of our packages are highly inclusive and fully customisable to meet your wishes. Our crew are handpicked for their skills and charm, and, with your own personal chef on board, you will receive 5-star food as well as carefully chosen local beers, wines and soft drinks.

Family holidays/group celebrations are our speciality. When you are sailing with Salamander Voyages the boat you choose will be yours and yours only for the week. WE DO NOT OFFER CHARTER BY THE CABIN so your gulet holiday will be the perfect, private experience no matter the occasion.   Our Turkish sailing boat Salamander hosts a maximum of 12 guests while other options can host parties of up to 22. (We also have a handful of other gulets to choose from). All gulets in our fleet have en-suite cabins and are extremely comfortable. Each vessel has a range of board games, playing cards, accessible Wi-Fi and the option of water sports such as paddle-boarding, canoeing and snorkelling.   We provide a truly all-inclusive experience with no surprise charges once we dock. (Advance Provisioning Allowance) To cover following costs, but not limited to: fuel for the main engine and generators; fuel for cruising; fuel for tender and water sports equipment; food and beverages for the Charter Party; berthing dues and other harbour charges including pilots ’fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, customs formalities, charges for waste disposal, charges for water and electricity taken from shore; shipping agents’ fees where applicable; Charter Party personal laundry; Charter Party communications and internet use; hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request, shoreside transport and excursions, national park entrances and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter and all other costs not specified as included.A.P.A is paid by the Client in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee.If A.P.A does not cover complete costs, the Client will pay exceeding the amount on board in cash.

If costs made on charter are less than the amount is given as A.P.A, the amount that was not spent will be returned to the Client at the end of the voyage.

You will immerse yourself in the crystal-clear sea with shades from turquoise to cobalt blue, contrasting with the lush green vegetation that forms the backdrop of the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos. Day 1: check-in.

Landing in Athens, you can take advantage of the transfer service (included in the price) departing from the capital's international airport at 16:30 and heading to the embarkation marina. The departure base for this cruise will be the port of Oreoi. After the quick check-in procedures, stowing your luggage in your cabins and attending the crew briefing, you will enjoy your first dinner on board the wonderful gulet that will host you during your week of discovery of the beautiful Sporades Islands.

You will leave your moorings early in the morning to reach Skopelos, but first you will stop on the islet of Pontikonissi. Fins, mask and snorkel at the ready, ready to dive into beautiful turquoise waters to discover its depths, while the crew prepares a delicious lunch for you on board. In the early afternoon you will sail to Agnontas on the island of Skopelos, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Spend the next two days sailing between Skopelos and Alonissos. The former boasts picturesque sand and pebble beaches lapped by crystal-clear waters reflected in the green pine trees that form the backdrop. You will pass from sheltered coves to quaint towns, to the famous little church of St. Ioannis - Kastri from the film 'Mamma Mia'. The second, due to its more remote location, is an unspoilt paradise where time seems to stand still. You will discover wild beaches and small harbours with villages where life flows slowly. In the Alonissos nature reserve, you might even come across some dolphins or monk seals! The itinerary and stops will depend on the weather and wind conditions. There are protected harbours and bays in which to spend the night.

After a good breakfast on board and a refreshing dip, a short sail will take you to the island of Skiathos, the most famous of the Sporades archipelago. Spend the day discovering the west coast of the island, in particular its capital, which is perfect for a stroll through the characteristic alleys, small shops and typical restaurants where you can enjoy some excellent traditional dishes. In the late afternoon, after a day of sea and relaxation, spend the night in a sheltered bay under the stars.

This morning you hoist the sails to the beautiful beach of Koukounaries on the west coast of Skiathos. One kilometre of golden sand bathed by emerald waters like the pine forest behind you. In the early afternoon you will stop along the coast for a few dips and a relaxing swim in some quiet beaches before reaching the small harbour of Trikeri in the evening.

Last day of sailing to Oreous. During the cruise you will pass pretty harbours and small beaches, where you can spend a few hours relaxing in the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. In the late afternoon you will return to the port of disembarkation, where you will spend the last night on board.

Day 8: Check-out

After the last breakfast on board, disembarkation is scheduled in the morning in order to reach Athens airport. The transfer service is included in the price.

Route: Bodrum – Gulf of Gokova

Day 2: Cati Depart from Bodrum for the Gulf of Gokova, a stretch of the Aegean where the sea displays the most remarkable hues of blue. The rugged coastline with its myriad small bays and harbours gives way to a stunning backdrop of pine-clad hills and mountains. Continue your gulet charter and cruise onto Cati Bay where we will spend the rest of the day, relaxing. Cati is a beautiful natural harbour surrounded by pine trees, fantastic for swimming and walks through the scented pine forests.

Day 4: Cleopatra Island – Akyaka – Akbuk After breakfast continue on your gulet cruise to Cleopatra Island, site of the reputed love-nest created by Mark Anthony for the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. Here you can find extensive archaeological remains scattered along one of Turkey’s most breathtaking golden beaches. Onto Akyaka’ with its Ottoman style buildings and narrow cobbled walled roads. Akbuk is a natural bay of tranquil warm waters.

Day 6: Bay of Molla Ibrahim – Kisebuku Cruise on your gulet holiday, to the Bay of Molla Ibrahim, nestling in the foothills of the Kiran Mountains. The ancient city of Anatasiopolos was located in the phe pine clad bay of Kisebuku.

Take the oppurtunity to visit the historical side of this resort,The 15th century Crusader castle, containing the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archeology, exhibits ancient shipwrecks raised off the coast of Turkey, and a preserved Carian princess’ tomb dating to the time of Alexander the Great. The remains of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassos, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is located nearby

Day 8: Bodrum Your gulet cruise comes to an end with precious memories. Disembarkation by 09:30 after breakfast.
