Marina Boatyard

The boatyard has been operating on Hamilton Island for over 25 years and has several hard standing options available. It can accommodate vessels up to 62 tonnes and a maximum length of 75 feet, with a beam of 5.6 meters, which can be hauled out using a Travel Lift. The boatyard can provide standard lifts and antifouling, survey lifts, all shipwright major works, osmosis repairs or insurance work. There are highly skilled professionals to deal with any maintenance or repair issues.

There is a well-stocked chandlery with a wide range of goods for purchase, if you cannot find what you are looking for, the friendly staff can help source your product and get it into stock.

Concierge Services

Hamilton Island Marina provides an on water concierge service, as well as additional services to help organise private or shared airport transfers, restaurants and activities bookings, site inspections and spa treatments. Please call the marina office on for further details

Ferry Service

Passenger ferry services operate from the Hamilton Island Marina. The 60 minute ferry trip from Airlie Beach departs from two convenient locations at either Port Of Airlie Marina or Shute Harbour, with more than a dozen services throughout the day. With many marina berths in the area, Elite Franchisee Jess enjoys getting out on the water and spending some time on luxury yachts – cleaning upholstery, cushions, soft furnishings, and carpets.

These luxury yachts are just like floating holiday homes, and Elite are the local experts – keeping the upholstery, carpets and furnishings in immaculate condition, with minimal fuss and disturbance to those on board.

“House rugs, floor runners, boat cushions, curtains, wedding runners and carpet squares can be dropped off for cleaning. I try to dedicate one day a week to my ‘Shed’ – sometimes this just happens to be the weekend – but that is the nature of the job,” she said.

The following charter yacht itinerary is an example of a scheduled cruise. All cruises are subject to weather and tidal conditions and the Captain’s professional judgement in putting together the best itinerary to keep guests happy, safe and well.

Meet your boat crew at Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach at 8am for a head count, to depart the marina at 8:30am. Enjoy the breathtaking island views as you sail across the Whitsunday Passage to Whitsunday Island, finding anchorage at Tongue Bay. Take a guided bush walk to the Hill Inlet Lookout to the view of Whitehaven Beach before heading down and spending an hour or two exploring the beach.

In the afternoon we will sail north to another island where we will anchor the private charter yacht just before sunset. After dinner, grab a drink and enjoy the evening with your friends.

Early rise for breakfast, and kit up with snorkelling gear, ready to jump in over the fringing coral reefs to see the fish and coral. Time for morning tea before heading to another location for a swim, snorkel or a beach stop. After lunch, it is time to set the sails once again and make way across the Whitsunday Passage.

Arrive back into Airlie Beach at 4pm.
