Sunseeker have released new photos of their brand new flagship motor yacht, BLUSH, soon to be delivered to Formula One tycoon Eddie Jordan.

The brand new tri-deck 155 motor yacht , Blush, is Sunseeker ’s new flagship and is set to be delivered this spring. She spent 18 months in development and at 47.25m (155') spanning four decks she is the biggest and most advanced yacht ever to come from the shipyard. The perfect combination of luxury and exclusivity, she is the definitive charter yacht.

Her magnificent interior has an abundance of both elegance and space. Combining supreme indulgence, outstanding interiors and luxurious accommodation for up to 12 charter guests she carries an experienced crew of 11 who will take good care of you and your guests, ensuring the ultimate yacht charter experience for all on board.

Accommodation comes in the form of a full beam master suite with private balcony, two double staterooms on the main deck and two twin staterooms on the lower deck. Balconies on both the main and upper decks bring the outside in and she has comfortable dining for 12 on the upper deck.

Formula One mogul Eddie Jordan is reported to have spent £32million on charter yacht BLUSH which features its own nightclub, day room, beach club and panoramic viewing platform, giving guests the ultimate view of the Monaco Grand Prix .

This is the biggest project we have ever undertaken and since the announcement of its build it has been the talk of the industry - Stewart McIntyre, managing director at Sunseeker International.

See inside Eddie Jordan’s new Sunseeker 155 Yacht

MBY has been sent some exclusive renderings of the inside of Jordan's superyacht

Motor Boat & Yachting has been sent these exclusive interior images of the largest Sunseeker ever, the 155 Yacht.

The epic, Poole-built superyacht emerged from Sunseeker’s sheds last week , giving us our first glimpse of its sharp lines and elegant styling.

These photos, though, give us the first idea of what Eddie Jordan’s latest Sunseeker will look like on the inside.

Although just renderings, they demonstrate the impressive scale of this latest British superyacht, showing the upper saloon’s dining area and the palatial master suite.

With the 155 expected to hit the water in Poole this week, craftspeople will now get to work on the final fit-out of the yacht.

Superyachts have had bad press recently. Seven of the absurdly opulent vessels owned by Russians linked to president Vladimir Putin had been seized as of May, with critics calling them outrageous displays of excessive wealth.

But these floating villages – with their hot tubs, humidors and helipads – each employ a small army (or rather, navy) of staff, with dozens recruited as pilots, captains, sailors, chefs, bartenders, cleaners, entertainers, security officers and more.

The extravagant vessels are also a boon for Dorset, with world renowned manufacturers Sunseeker International based right here in Poole. Founded as Poole Powerboats in 1969 the business now employs around 2,600 people worldwide – many of them within the county.

Multi-million-pound Sunseeker ships have appeared in several James Bond movies including The World is Not Enough (1999), Die Another Day (2002), Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008) – in which co-founder Robert Braithwaite had a cameo role.

One of the firm’s largest and most luxurious ships, the Sunseeker 155, was owned by F1 racing tycoon Eddie Jordan until 2017. Named “Blush”, the monstrous vessel cost over £12 million and had a crew of ten, plus space for ten guests.

It is 155 feet long

While the rest of Europe has long since gone metric, the yachtbuilding industry still measures things in feet. The enormous Sunseeker 155 was so called because it measured a staggering 155 feet (or 45 metres) from bow to stern.

For comparison, this is about as long as the Arc de Triomphe is high, or half as tall as the Westminster clock tower housing Big Ben. you could alos think of it as around half the length of a football pitch – or two-and-a-half times the length of a cricket pitch, if you prefer.

Its amenities rival those of a high-end hotel

The Sunseeker 155’s onboard features include a nightclub and a parking garage for jet skis as well as opulent dining rooms, lounges, bars, viewing decks, jacuzzis, bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. The vessel can carry a reported 60,000 litres of fuel, giving it an estimate range of 4,000 miles, while its twin V16 engines can generate a top speed of over 22 knots (25mph).

It cost the F1 tycoon around £32 million

As the old adage goes, “If you have to ask what it costs, you can’t afford it”. The Sunseeker website does not list prices for its models – estimates are provided only on application, and these can vary wildly depending on the specifications required.

But Jordan paid a reported £32 million for his Sunseeker 155, and that was in 2014 money. If this price tag seems a little steep, never fear: if you’re willing to go a bit smaller and buy used, a 2012 Sunseeker can be had for just under £13 million .

The running costs are eyewatering

Jordan sold his Sunseeker 155, named Blush, in 2017. He told Boat International that his busy schedule meant he could only spend two weeks a year on it, and that he wanted something smaller for his grandchildren.

But it could also be that he was sick of forking out an estimated £1.2 million per year in running costs including fuel, dockage, maintenance, insurance and crew salaries. That said, he did rent it out as a charter vessel when not cruising the world on it.

The name Blush lives on

Although Jordan sold his Sunseeker 155, he still owns a boat called Blush. This is a 45-metre-long sailing yacht built in 2007 by Perini Navi, a luxury shipyard which has been based in Tuscany, Italy since 1983.

The motorsport mogul now plans to sail the fjords of Norway , the Suez canal and the Northwest Passage – the sea route between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans which claimed the lives of many an explorer seeking quicker routes to the Far East.

The current owners are unknown

Jordan told Boat International that he had sold his pride and joy to “a nice American family” who had previously chartered the vessel and liked it so much that they just had to own it.

Likewise, the owners of a second Sunseeker 155 christened Princess AVK, produced at Poole in 2016, have not been publicly disclosed. It is thought that they come from the United Arab Emirates – and although it looks like they might be selling on , too.

While some, like Jordan, are happy to tell everyone about their seafaring adventures aboard Dorset’s biggest and most expensive yacht, it seems that others prefer to cruise the world’s oceans in peace.

Magic Johnson ‘Excited’ to Have Kids EJ, Andre, Elisa and Their Families Join for Yacht Vacation

The family is currently cruising the Mediterranean aboard a super yacht called the Phoenix II

It’s family time onboard Magic Johnson ’s super yacht!

On Instagram Sunday , the NBA legend and his wife Cookie welcomed their children and grandchildren on their chartered boat, the Phoenix II, as the Johnsons continue their epic tour of Mediterranean ports.

”Cookie and I are excited to have our kids Andre, EJ, Elisa, our daughter-in-law Lisa and grandkids Gigi and Avery join us on the yacht!” Magic, 63, wrote alongside a photo of the happy group, posed on the deck, in front of a dramatic backdrop of seaside cliffs.

In another photo, Magic and Cookie smile for the camera, with the basketball icon donning slacks and loafers and his wife wearing a sleeveless Prada dress.

Also on Sunday, Magic shared in another post that the crew on their yacht threw them a 70’s-themed party.

“The other night, the Phoenix II crew did an amazing job of throwing us a 70s party!” Magic wrote, alongside a group shot that featured friends including Samuel L. Jackson , who sported pleated flared pants. “We all dressed up and had a blast!!"

For the past few weeks, the Hall of Famer has been sharing glimpses of his annual European vacation — which has featured famous faces this year, as it has in the past.

Last week, Jackson, Michael Jordan , Judge Greg Mathis and their wives joined in on the fun on the 296-foot boat, which features seven cabins including a split-level master apartment accessed by its own staircase, and a private terrace with a Jacuzzi,  according to its website .

In many of the excursions off the boat, the group indulged at some of the region’s finest restaurants.

“Tonight we enjoyed an incredible dinner at the world-famous Da Paolino Ristorante aka the lemon tree restaurant in Capri, Italy!” Johnson wrote. “AND I got to hang out with my great friend and the greatest basketball player to ever live, Michael Jordan, and his wife Yvette, Sam and LaTanya Jackson, Judge Greg and Linda Mathis, and John and Vicki Palmer.”

How Sailing Helped Yacht Owner Eddie Jordan Prepare for Isolation

Eddie Jordan, owner of 45 metre Perini Navi sailing yacht Blush , has said that long stretches spent sailing around the world have helped him prepare for life in self-isolation.

The former F1 boss spoke to  BOAT International for our new video series, At Home with BOAT. In episode three,  BOAT International editor Stewart Campbell talks with Jordan about life in isolation and what he's looking forward to post-quarantine.

Currently self-isolating with his wife in their Cape Town home, Jordan said that isolation was "quite reminiscent of going around the world - that was 13-14 months hardly getting off the boat at all." Between stopping off at destinations including French Polynesia, the Galapagos Islands and Indonesia, Jordan explained that there were long stretches of confinement on board. “I always thought when I was getting on the boat at Southampton in 2012, ‘my God I'm going to be bored to death, what am earth am I going to do?’ [...] but the time just flew by", said Jordan.

For now, Jordan is planning to fill his time with “a bit of writing” and “for that little moment of fantasy and getting away from it all” plans to “dive into BOAT International ”.

Jordan also talked at length about how impressed he was by the amazing efforts of National Health Service (NHS) staff in the UK. “I feel so sorry for the people who are affected and I feel sorry for the NHS and all the people who are really the unsung heroes”, he said.

With regards to sailing, Jordan said: “It’s going to be a difficult charter season, that’s for sure”, but nonetheless hopes to be back on the water by August, returning to his favourite summertime destinations of Greece and Turkey.

Jordan also added that he was excited about taking in part in the 2020 Perini Navi Cup this September. Last year, his team were beaten by Maltese Falcon , which he called "the most magnificent boat that Perini has ever made". However, following the recent refit of Blush , Jordan is feeling optimistic. “Maybe we might be able to have a better shot at [winning] it” this year.

For now though, his freshly refitted sailing yacht is awaiting her next adventure in the South of France - “the natural home for all the Jordan family boats."
