Cat Trax has become the standard catamaran dolly for moving catamarans over sand, mud, rocks, or any surface. Lightweight and rustproof. Fast and simple tiedown attachment. Your cat rolls effortlessly on smooth running low friction Delrin bearings. Jumbo 11" x 21" balloon tires disperse weight, do not dig in on soft surfaces. Tough padded end-caps hold the boat in line. No rust, no lubrication, no hassles. Stores easily on the tongue of your trailer. Designed for boats up to 8" beam, includes axels and end caps.

For destinations within the continental United States, this item has a flat rate shipping charge of $385 for shipment via fully insured LTL freight provider. This flat rate excludes shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, US Armed Forces, US Territories, and all other international destinations. Returns can be made within 366 days (1 year + 1 day) of your original order date. Exceptions include (and are not limited to) cut line, Rig Shop products, special order items, numbered sailors, and items used or worn sailing.

8' CAT TRAX W/ CRADLES & AXLE OS*
Cat Trax with Cradles 8'
The Cat Trax with Cradles are Murray's choice for best beach wheels! This lightweight, yet sturdy rustproof catamaran beach dolly will carry your catamaran easily over sand, rocks, mud or pavement. The Cat Trax features strong aluminum wheel rims with two-ply pneumatic rubber tires. Cat Trax roller bearings provide low-friction wheeling. The standard length axle is double-drilled to accommodate 8' Beachcats. Cradles are necessary for any boat with a round bottom.
Boats that use the 8' axle: Hobie: Getaway, Wave, 14, 16, 17, 18 Prindle: 15, 16, 18 Nacra: 4.5, 5.0, 5.2, 5.5SL, 5.7, 5.8, 460, N15 G-Cat: 5.0
Choosing Cradle Width: #13-1402 with Standard Cradles (for H-16, H-18, Getaway, Wave, etc.) #13-1402-1 with Wide Cradles (for Hobie 20, Inter 18, 20 or boats with wider rounded hulls). We ask you to please specify your boat make and model in order to confirm the best fit of the cradles to your boat.
Optional aluminum backing plates (#13-1408 pair) allow the cradles to be more easily mounted to a trailer with a square or rectangular crossbar. An optional axle extender (#13-1409) is available for boats wider than 8-1/2'.
Shipping Notes: This item is shipped un-assembled directly from the manufacturer, which will add to the delivery time. Ground shipment will be your only option at checkout. Air shipping is very expensive and is by quote only. Sorry, the "Basic" delivery option is not available for this item. Shipping Quotes can be challenging for odd items like this, so we may have to revise your shipping price after the order is placed. We will contact you for approval of any needed changes.
