St David Yacht is one of the most renowned charter yachts around. The award-winning 60m super yacht was built by the well-known builder Benetti and designed by the Andrew Winch Design team. The team incorporated a streamline shape embodying the Italian Riviera dynamic, with inspiration drawn from the profile of the famous Italian super cars.

The CEO and Founder of 212 Yachts, Jenny Caird, has had the pleasure of being invited to several parties with 100+ people on board the stunning St David Yacht, and had the following to say:

Superyacht St David also prides herself in great recognition amongst the yachting community. The yacht was the finalist in the World Superyacht Awards in 2009. The same year, it was crowned ‘Best Charter Yacht’ by the Robb Report, and for very good reason.

Luxury superyacht St David has three expansive exterior decks. The main deck, adjacent to the saloon, boasts an expansive shaded area with ample seating. When designing the yacht Winch wanted to ensure that when you step on board you say ‘wow’, but when you sit down, you say ‘ahhh’!

This deck has a very open feel to it, and is the ideal setup to welcome guests on board at quayside. St David Yacht has the capacity for as many as 150 guests on board at quayside, making her the ideal yacht for corporate charters or events.

As a result, the yacht is a popular choice for visitors of the Monaco and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. She is moored in a privileged berth at the Yas Marina, and her three spacious decks, connected by a majestic staircase, mean that up to 150 guests can enjoy the on-track action!

The upper deck sky lounge features a stunning dining table that can be opened up to fit more people, or closed up for more roaming space. There is a spacious exterior deck for guests to mingle to the backdrop of a breath-taking sunset. While here everyone can enjoy a drink from the adjacent bar before dinner – yet another feature offered by this prestigious yacht!

The sundeck is the ultimate feature of St David however, featuring a spacious Jacuzzi pool (refitted in 2019), sun loungers, various sunbathing pads, a bar and even an outdoor cinema screen. After dark, the crew can transform this entire deck into your own private nightclub!

No luxury has been spared on the interior, with stunning mosaic floors, a magnificent spiral staircase, a spa, sky lounge, wet bar and more. The regal designs simply radiate prestige and status.

The master suite is yet another highlight of superyacht St David. It is split over two levels, the first of which includes a grand, stunning bathroom, a private office and a small lounge with TV and sofas. A small yet majestic staircase leads to the raised master bedroom which has panoramic views and is also fitted with a skylight. The other five luxury cabins are all convertible from double to twin bedrooms.

The team of 15 crew have been hugely popular amongst guests. They are always happy to welcome  you on board the St David Yacht and cater to your every need, whether this be specific meals, a spin on the water toys, a fancy cocktail request or practically anything else you can think of.

Water toys and accessories for guests

St David’s Yacht offers a vast array of water toys and accessories for guests to connect with the waters around them. Experience the thrill of riding a Yamaha Jetski VX Cruiser, or the entertainment of water skiing. The F5 SEABOBs allow you to skim along the surface or quietly swim with the underwater wildlife. In addition, St David provides wakeboards, kayaks, fishing and scuba diving equipment, and inflatable water toys. With two tenders available, the New 435 Williams Sportjet RIB tender (Model 2022) stands out for its stylish transport capabilities.

Once you confirm your reservation, your broker will process your payment.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

The cost of chartering a yacht in the South of France will start at around $20,000 a week, plus an additional 30% advanced provisioning allowance (APA), 14% VAT, and a discretionary tip. The APA will cover the food, drinks, fuel, and berthing during your travels, and the tip remains at the discretion of the client but is advised anywhere between 10% to 20% of the charter fee to thank the crew for their efforts.

The starting price for a yacht charter in the South of France will be around $20,000 for a week for 6-8 guests plus expenses. There’s a vast selection of yachts available in the area, with many size categories to choose from:

- A 20m sailing yacht will cost around €20,000pw + all - A 25m motor yacht will cost around €25,000pw + all - A 30m yacht will cost around €60,000pw + all - A 40m superyacht will cost around €175,000pw + all - A 50m superyacht will cost around €275,000pw + all

The Mediterranean high season runs for 8 weeks from July to August. However, the area remains busy from the Monaco Grand Prix at the end of May until the Monaco Yacht Show in late September. Therefore, the Mediterranean season can be regarded as being 16 weeks long.

Most of the yacht charters in the South of France will start in one of the region’s main marinas, such as Monaco’s Port Hercules. A great cruise is from Monaco to St Tropez, passing by Eze, St Jean Cap Ferrat, Antibes and Cannes.

Luxury service: Dining on board of Douce France is trully a wonderful experience. The guests will have the chance to sample the skills of the first-class chef, who is equally at home preparing French haute cuisine as well as Asian, Japanese, Indian, Thai and Creole cuisine or very simple dishes, using fresh and always locally sourced ingredients.  Dining on Douce France is where one will appreciate the presence of French knowledge in the art of gastronomy. Masterful creations, usually taken directly fresh from the sea, are artfully presented on luxury Limoges china and are enhanced by a wine selection that is perhaps one of the most extensive offered on board of any luxury charter vessel. The guests have a choice of three dining areas including:

• The spacious cockpit pleasantly shaded by the overhang of the deckhouse
• The intimate lounge for the cooler evening or
• The aft teak deck where one can enjoy the warm breeze and dine under the starlight.

Special Services: Douce France crew has a qualified masseuse on board offering relaxing massages with a 360-degree sea view around you.  When taking this service, it is expected that yo will be able to relax so much that all you will hear is the sound of the sea and soothing words of the measseuse who will point you to change the position you are in so you can relax even more and get rid of all stress in your body.  This luxury yacht is also equiped with full diving equipment for up to 8 guests.  With a qualified instructor on board and his great experience, guests will feel safe around their instructor, while they are learning more about the fauna and flora below sea level. DOUCE FRANCE is a 42.2m / 138.5’ luxury sailing catamaran designed by Van Peteghem & Lauriot Prévost. She is normally cruising around the Caribbean Leeward Islands or South Pacific and is offered for luxury crewed yacht charters in many other sailing destinations worldwide. This 42.2m super yacht with a total of 206m2 mainsail area, can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 double or twin en-suite staterooms.  She is a fast cruising, luxury sailing catamaran, cruising at speeds of around 12-15kn.

Thanks to her twin 12V Nani Dei super yacht diesel engines, she comfortably cruises at speeds of around 12kn when under motor power, while under perfect sailing conditions, she can reach speeds of above 20kn. Her best features are luxury styling, fabulous French cuisine and dining experience, unique wine cellar and choice of special sailing itineraries and yacht charter destinations.

The many lakes in France are well suited for boat trips and water activities of all sorts. They are also incredibly popular destinations for fishers and swimmers, both from local towns and foreign countries. France has claim to about 580 square kilometers of Lake Geneva, which has been the site for the Bol d’Or sailing regatta since 1939 but is also widely used by private skippers. The region of Jura is also rife with lakes, including the small Lac des Brenets, also known as Lac de Chaillexon. This lake is very popular for vacationers and bathers in the summer, and can be used for ice skating in the winter. The close by Lac de Bonlieu is even more pristine, and Lac de Narlay in Franche-Comté is known for its very clean water. Lac des Rousses, northwest of Lyon, is a favorite among bathers. The same is true for Lac de Saint-Point/Lac de Malbuisson in Département Doubs and the dam-made Lac de Vouglans near Lons-le-Saunier. Lac de Chalain also plays an important role in the region, especially as an area for hiking, and Lacs de Clairvaux serves as a bathing lake in the summer. In very southern France, the reliable wind speeds of the Lagune des Étang de Leucate near Salses-le-Château create great conditions for this well known surfing area , and the Lagune de Étang de Thau, near a city of the same name, has very pretty, but also demanding for boaters, waters. For swimmers and bathers, Lac de Hourtin and de Carcans in the Département Gironde are equally popular, and Lac du Causse in Département Corrèze in the Région Limousin is a central location for water sports and activities. Lac d’Aiguebelette in Département Haute-Savoie in Rhône-Alpes has already been used as the venue for the World Rowing Championships, and will be again in 2015. For fishing, Lac Pavin in Département Puy-de-Dôme is a good place for fishers to congregate, as it is a home to the popular Arctic charr fish. Lac de Lacanau near Bordeaux lies just inland of the Atlantic coast, and the dam-made Lac de Naussac in Languedoc-Roussillon is used both to generate electricity and as a place for recreation. Further inland, Lac de Villefort is east of Mende, and a popular weekend excursion site near Paris includes the man-made lake Étangs de Hollande in Département Yvellines. Some wonderful lakes that are more difficult to get to, and which are only accessible by foot, are Lac de Melo and Lac de Capitello on the island Corsica , off France’s southern coast in the Mediterranean. In accordance with the characteristics of the local language, natural beauty is present in all its forms, including in the previously mentioned stretches of coastline along France’s borders with the sea. The most famous of France’s coastal areas since the 18th century, Côte d’Azur , or the French Riviera, sits on the Mediterranean and is home to the famous cities and vacation towns Cassis, Menton, Toulon, Hyères , Saint-Tropez, Antibes , Cannes, Nice, and Monaco (a suggested itinerary along the Côte d’Azur is available here. As on the western Côte Bleue (Blue Coast), Le Rove, Ensuès-la-Redonne, Carry-le-Rouet, Sausset-les-Pins, and Martigues all are famous for their wild white horses that roam around the land. Camargue between Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône and La Gran Motte, also has these horses, and along with Côte d’Améthyste near Port-Camargue, Palavas-les-Flots, Le Cap d’Agde, Gruissan, Port Leucate, Port Barcarès et Saint Cyprien, also has many marinas, berths, and docking areas tucked into hidden coves. On the Atlantic coast, follow from south to the north the Basque Coast (Côte Basque) to Hendaye, Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Ciboure and Angelet and then the almost 100 kilometer long Silver Coast (Côte d’Argent) from Angelet to Soulac-sur-Mer, whose name is almost like precious metal shimmering in the sunlight. France’s most famous nude beach is Montalivet-les-Bains, and the towns in the Lège-Cap-Ferret region on the Arcachon Bay have lovely anchoring and docking places in the small harbor.

The Coast of Beauty (Côte de Beauté) earns its name from La Palmyre to Meschers-sur-Gironde, the Light Coast (Côte de Lumière) boasts Beauvoir-sur-Mer to L’Aiguillon-sur-Mer, the Jade Coast (Côte de Jade) has Saint-Brevin-les-Pins and Moutiers-end-Retz, and the Megalith Coast (Côte des Mégalithes) sits on the Gulf of Morbihan. The Breton sections of the Côte de Cornouailles coastline from Pointe du Raz to Pont Aven, the Côte d’Íroise between the Sein and Quessant islands near Brest, and the Coast of Legends (Côte des Légendes) around Saint-Pabu are all beaches with similar attributes: shores with large rocks and deep fjords . The Golden Belt (Ceinture dorée) of France lies in two municipal Départements, Côtes-d’Armor and Finistère Léon. The area is named for its many hours of sunshine and lovely mild climate, even in the winter . The Pink Granite Coast (Côte de Granit Rose) offers little sand, but instead, huge boulders litter its beaches and the area experiences strong tides . The Emerald Coast (Côte d’Émeraude) is located between Cap Fréhel and Cancale. Lower Normandy is the home of the Flower Coast (Côte Fleurie) and is known for its seaside resorts Honfleur, Trouville-sur-Mer, Deauville, Villers-sur-Mer, Cabourg, Varaville, and Merville-Franceville-Plage. In upper Normandy you’ll find the 120 kilometer long and sometimes very steep Alabaster Coast (Côte d’Albâtre), on which Le Havre, Fécamp, Dieppe, Le Tréport, Étretat, and Yport can be found. These are the biggest and most expensive boats at 2024's Palm Beach yacht show

The Palm Beach International Boat Show kicks off later this week.

Eight megayachts are expected to be on display for would-be buyers and charter customers.

These are the show's biggest yachts — and how many millions of dollars they are going for.

The Palm Beach International Boat Show — the yacht world's flashiest event stateside — is returning this year with over 800 boats for both deep-pocked potential owners and window shoppers to peruse.

While it's impossible to know what exactly will be on display until the show begins on Thursday, it's expected that eight megayachts — generally defined as ships over 60 meters long — will be docked at the show and at nearby marinas like the Rybovich Marina in the ritzy Florida town.

Some of these are for sale at eye-popping prices, but others are available to if in case you fancy living like a billionaire for a week or two this summer (and if you have six figures to spare on a vacation).

These are the eight biggest yachts that will be at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, in size order.

Nero: 90.1 meters

Price: From $497,000 a week (charter) Standout features: Pizza ovens, beauty salon, massage room, resistance pool

Reportedly owned by Irish billionaire Denis O'Brien, Nero is modeled after J.P. Morgan's 1930s ship , and was built in 2007 and updated in 2021.

She now boasts a gym on her sundeck with multiple cardio machines and a beauty salon, and has an on-board beautician for manicure, pedicure, hair, and massage needs. There's also an upgraded movie theater, two new pizza ovens, and both a pool and a jacuzzi.

For those who want to go overboard, she has more than a dozen toys, including a waterslide, Jet Ski, and flyboard.

Victorious: 85 meters

Price: From $876,600 a week in the summer and $950,000 a week in the winter Standout features: Hammam (Turkish bath), wine cellar, wood-burning fireplace, children's playroom

Victorious brings a party vibe to the yacht show. With a beach club on board, a wine cellar, a cigar clubroom , multiple bars, and a lounge with a piano, the vessel is made for entertaining. Plus, there's a playroom and movie theater to entertain the kids.

For tamer charter clients, Victorious has a suite of wellness features such as a gym, massage room, beauty salon and hammam, or Turkish bath — perhaps a custom request of her owner, Turkish businessman Vural Ak.

She also boasts a treasure trove of water toys, including Jet Skis, jetsurfs, inflatable kayaks, and scuba equipment.

Casino Royale: 72 meters

Purchased and refitted by car dealer magnate John Staluppi last year, Casino Royale is the latest of his James Bond-inspired yachts (he's also owned an Octopussy and a Skyfall, among others).

Casino Royale has a helipad that turns into a dancefloor, an infinity pool, and a wellness center with a gym and sauna. The owner's cabin has its own deck, which features a private bar and jacuzzi.

There are a number of toys on board, including a popular water trampoline and two WaveRunners.

Come Together: 60 meters

Next-to-new yacht Come Together is looking for a new owner after doing charters during the 2023 season.

The Beatles' influence is evident beyond the yacht's name, with guitars dotting the sky lounge and a crewmember who doubles as a DJ. There's also an outdoor cinema and bar for entertainment and an ice bath and sauna for the day after the party. The owner's suite has a private study and lounge, and each guest cabin has its own ensuite.

The sale includes a number of toys, like Jet Skis, kayaks, and Seabobs.
