I live in Barbados and have always gone on the very big catamarans. No more. I am a convert to this particular boat. The staff were amazing. Due to the fact that it is not one of the very large boats my friends and I did not have to deal with loads of other people on the boat. It was heaven. It felt like a private charter even though it was not. I highly recommend this boat.

Nick, Luca and Akim made our day out w Calypso cruises the highlight of our vacation. Whether swimming w the turtles, seeing the shipwrecks or just relaxing on the boat the calypso crew attends to every detail. It is pure fun from start to finish. And of course the pick up and drop off by Sean makes the day even easier. It is a much smaller group than some of the other boats running at the same time and everyone is just so friendly. It’s Barbados at its finest.

We sail with limited numbers (max 14) to ensure a more personal and intimate experience. Our 5 hour tour includes pick up from your hotel/resort/ship, snorkeling with the turtles, ship wreck or reef and a leisurely lunch stop. We provide snorkeling gear, noodles and all your refreshments.

There is coffee, tea and light snacks to start the morning – including Bloody Caesars if you are so bold. Hors d’oeurves while we sail and a full Bajan buffet lunch of local fish, baked chicken, macaroni pie, pasta salad, potato salad, tossed salad and dinner rolls / garlic bread, followed by delicious desserts.

The crew operates an open bar throughout the cruise to keep you hydrated and relaxed. We serve a premium bar, wine, rum punch, coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks – we will bring you drinks to wherever you are on the boat!

This entire afternoon was so much fun. I do not like boats cause I get sick. I never got sick and met and ate with so many great couples from around the world! I highly recommend it. I got to swim with fish, sea turtles and sting rays. The boat is amazing. The staff and boat crew were amazing and such a fun time! The food was delicious. All in all I recommend it and would go again if we go back to Barbados’s!

We had an excellent day on this cruise. We did the 5 hour morning, luxury adults only cruise on the original Silver moon. The food, drinks and service were amazing and the staff were very very attentive. Snacks, plentiful drinks (you have as much as you want and they keep coming) and absolutely gorgeous food. I didn't plan on doing much in the water but i felt comfortable enough to try snorkelling. It is a pricey cruise but you truly get what you pay for with only 12 people on board so very spacious and comfortable. They offer a pick up service from your hotels for $10 each which was handy although most other tours offer this for free. I feel it should be included at the price of the cruise. My only gripe was a 50% deposit so far in advance (so i left it until after Christmas and booked a couple of weeks before). There were so many options but I'm glad we went with the version we did. So many other catamaran companies we passed were noisy and too full and had nowhere to sit. The staff were lovely, helpful, attentive, approachable nice people.

The boat was absolutely beautiful however the food was poor with few choices. Given that your cruise was almost double the cost of other tours we were expecting superior food with many choices. We were also disappointed with the quality of the taxis.

Kim and the crew were fantastic, we were looked after from the moment we stepped onbard. There were stops to look at submerged wrecks and to see turtles, rays and other sea life. The lunch was tasty and along with several rum punches through the day, we had a fabulous time and will be booking for next year.

Another great day out with Silver Moon. From start to finish the experience is seamless and the whole team works hard to make it your day. Particular thanks to the crew who provide excellent service on board, refreshing drinks, preparing and serving food and leading the swimming activities. Nothing seems to faze them and their energy levels ensure the atmosphere and vibes on board remain fresh yet relaxing.

From the friendly pick up at port we were greeted with cheerful outgoing staff along every point to boarding the boat. The crew - Chris, Drew , Geneva , Tristan FANTASTIC people. So thoughtful , attentive , friendly , did not leave us wanting for nothing. The boat is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of seating in the shade or sun, indoor areas with bathrooms that are comfortable and well maintained. The appetizers served and drinks as soon as we set sail were an unexpected treat. We really felt special and taken care of in every way. They were so professional and attentive. We sailed along the coast and stopped for snorkeling where we saw stingrays and sea turtles and many tropical fish. A sunken boat teaming with fish. They made sure to keep an eye on each of us and ensured we stayed close to them to get the safest and most beneficial views of the sea life. We then sailed a bit further to another wonderful spot we could jump overboard and swim as they prepared our tasty lunch of chicken pasta and salads They also served us a little trio of deserts and a cool cloth to refresh ourselves. We were small group of 12 and it was wonderful to connect with fellow travellers and enjoy such a spectacular adventure. Thankyou to every single staff member for making our Valentine’s Day tour just so perfect. The professionalism and care they showed us and how careful they were ducking the boat just really impressed me - from start to finish every aspect of the experience had such careful attention to every detail. Would highly recommend !!!!!!

  The Jolly Roger:

Ahoy me harties! The Jolly Roger Barbados is themed on the pirates tale that we and our children have grown to know and love. These fun filled boat trips are offered as lunch cruises on a daily basis from 11am –3pm and are suitable to be enjoyed by the whole family.

In addition to comfortable, well equipped seating areas, for those who enjpy adventure the Jolly Roger features: rope swinging and plank walking, a delicious cooked to order buffet lunch, ample space for sunbathing on the top deck and shaded areas for those seeking respite from the afternoon heat.

There is also plenty of opportunity to party, after enjoying a dip in the warm sea with the friendly local turtles. Unlimited drinks, including the Bajans customary rum punch, are available from the ship's bar throughout the journey.   There is generally a spirited conga line or two formed whilst en route back to shore.

Show and dinner events are available aboard the Jolly Roger each Thursday evening. The ship is also available for Party hire upon request with special packages for groups of 10 or more.

Current excursions include a full day's fishing cruise. You will depart from their West Coast base in Holetown and be treated to seven hours on the sea. You can fish, snorkel on the wrecks and enjpy a Bajan luncheon at Pirates Cove.   With a friendly and knowledgeable captain and crew and a spacious, air conditioned deck which comfortably accommodates ten guests, you may not want the day to end. The Indian Navy shared a rescue video of the INS Kolkata that responded swiftly to a maritime incident in the Gulf of Aden. Barbados-flagged Bulk Carrier MV True Confidence hit by a missile, causing a fire and critical injuries. INS Kolkata arrives and rescues 21 crew members, including one Indian national, using helicopter and boats. The ship's medical team provides critical medical aid to injured crew.
