Jo I offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, two double cabins and two twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Jo I is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 2,900 nautical miles from her 84,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway.

Onboard Jo I has a large selection of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Principle among these are Pico sailboats to bring out the explorer in you. Additionally, there are waterslides letting guests speed from the sun deck to the water in seconds. Guests can experience the thrill and adventure of riding one of the SeaDoo WaveRunners. If that isn't enough Jo I also features waterskis, a Kite Surfer, wakeboards, kayaks and fishing equipment. Over one century of history, more than 350 boats built including three giga yachts of 100mt and longer, over 300,000 sq m (3.229.173 sq.ft) of production facilities. These facts and figures unambiguously demonstrate the momentum of Benetti’s growth and Clients’ unrestrained confidence in the brand.

Jo measures 50.00 metres in length, with a max draft of 2.97 metres and a beam of 9.00 metres. She has a deck material of teak.

Jo has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

Her interior design is by Zuretti.

Jo also features naval architecture by Benetti.

Benetti luxury motor yacht JO I is a design and build to high standards. She is a sleek, modern superyacht. This megayacht features a classic interior and spacious decks. She features a wide range of activities.  in addition, she has a professional crew. All make up the perfect environment for relaxation and entertaining during a charter.

ARCHITECTURE

Motor yacht JO I has a beautiful dark blue hull. She boasts naval architecture from Italy’s most famous builder, Benetti.  Her exterior style is by Stefano Natucci.  The interior is a François Zuretti concept. The concept is per the owner’s family style.  The decorative theme is colonial. She has painted cherry wood joinery.

Luxury charter yacht JO offers spacious reception areas and decks. These are for ease, comfort, and stylish entertaining at sea or in port.

ACCOMMODATIONS

This superyacht is designed to fit perfectly with the requirements of charter use, easily accommodating up to 12 guests in 6 cabins – the owner’s suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins (with Pullman berths), and a ‘multipurpose’ cabin.

OWNER SUITE

The owner’s bedroom extends across the yacht’s full beam with a king-sized bed positioned in the center. As in the main saloon, the satin-finished cherry wood is set off with light-colored fabrics. Scatter cushions in rich silks finish off the decor.

A small adjacent saloon is furnished with a minibar, a desk, and a plasma television screen, with two armchairs and a coffee table. This area is useful as a private study to keep in contact with a business, or as a private sitting room.

The vast bathroom in the owner’s suite is a lavishly decorated oasis of marble and wood. There is a centrally-located spa with a large, deep bathtub and a shower cubicle as well.

FORMAL DINING SALON

The formal dining room and the lounge form a single saloon area on the main deck of the megayacht. Large side windows allow light to flood into this room in the daytime and afford a great view of the sea. A 42-inch pop-up plasma screen has DVD, satellite, and karaoke.

When the double doors of the saloon are slid back, the feeling of space is even greater, as the aft deck becomes a continuation of the saloon. For those moonlit evenings during a Caribbean yacht charter, guests can relax on the aft deck with cocktails before dinner or enjoy coffee and liqueurs afterward.

There are four guest staterooms amidships on the lower deck.  All bedrooms feature a predominance of satin cherry wood. Conversely, each features an individually themed décor. In specific,  with delicious fabrics in an exuberant mix of colors.  Throws and scatter cushions exist from famous design houses. For instance, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Versace, and Mulberry.

The lounge has a bar area. It is for serving drinks. There is a traditional jukebox for playing favorite records.  The main feature of this room is a central wraparound sofa. It faces the plasma television screen between the glass entrance doors.  This gives the impression of a private cinema.  However, when the doors are open, there is a large alfresco dining area. Further protected by the overhang of the sundeck. An oval table takes center stage with its seating for 12.

The mega yacht features a sun deck with a vast sunbathing area perfect for enjoying the sea and surroundings in complete relaxation. This is a favorite sunning area for Croatia yacht charters as well as any Mediterranean luxury yacht charters.

The sundeck area offers a large Jacuzzi and wet bar.

Offered by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht PENNY JO is a 45 ft sailing catamaran. The main attractions of PENNY JO are her impeccable styling and culinary experience. PENNY JO spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was completed by the renowned boatbuilder Bali Catamarans in 2021. The ingenious yacht layout features 3 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 6 guests.

PENNY JO is classified primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and that's where the guests spend most of their time. The tastefully decorated cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. We understand that our guests like to stay connected to family and friends, Penny Jo is equipped with Starlink satellite-based internet for texting, emails and wifi calling (not included is social media, streaming or video services like Facetime, etc which are high data usage services). Therefore, even if cell service is out of range, usually connections can be made via the boat Starlink wifi to make a wifi call or text.

Captain: Byron

Raised in East London on the Wild Coast of South Africa, Byron has had a passion for the sea from a young age. He started sailing at the age of 9 and has been involved in many sailing events, as well as other water sports. This has led to him developing a great deal of knowledge and experience in a vast array of water sports and he has completed his RYA Yacht Master Ocean qualification. Byron has spent the last 8 years sailing around the Caribbean, Mexico and parts of the USA and has many a story to share. Combining his passion for cooking and his love of the sea, he would love to welcome you on board, where you can enjoy his sharp, witty personality and adventurous spirit. Joining Byron is his wife and Chef/First Mate, Michelle, who has a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry from her time working on cruise ships. Michelle has completed a few culinary courses and enjoys using her previous travels to come up with a variety of scrumptious cuisines from around the world that are sure to excite the taste buds. Byron and Michelle have been working together over the past 8 years and love to be on the water. They work well together both on deck and below, in the galley. Both are qualified Divemasters and have a passion for wildlife, especially that in the ocean, and have spent many hours in and under water. Together this fun loving South African couple invite you aboard Penny Jo to share in their infectious humor and desire to explore.

It was an amazing week spent exploring the pristine waters and secluded coves of the Island of St John. Bart spent times in his childhood sailing small catamarans in the Knysna Bay area with family. This early exposure formed a lifelong love of being on the sea and of sailing. <br /> <br /> Having always been around boats when he was younger, he decided to change up his lifestyle after a bout as a quarry manager for 8+ years after high school. He did his sailing YachtMasters license in his homeland back in 2019. Upon completion, he has served on various large yachts in different locations, including the Bahamas and the East Coast of the US. Easy going and always up for a chat, he loves sharing experiences and is always happy to talk sailing and boats. As an ex- Skydiving instructor and keen scuba diver, you are sure to hear some exciting stories. Bart believes that safety is always the primary focus when preforming his captain duties, and that having respect for the environment will always provide for an optimal, fun-filled trip. Bart can’t wait to experience more trips throughout The Bahamas with new faces in sunny, favourite places. <br /> <br /> Chef Katie<br /> Penny Jo welcomes Katie, a Canadian chef who comes from a university town an hour west of Toronto, Ontario. Her love for food and cooking hatched from a young age. Her Nan (also Katie) shared her wealth of knowledge and family recipes from the time she could walk and hold a wooden spoon. Many summer days were spent canning jams, jellies and preserves, baking fresh pies and hosting family gatherings where our efforts could be enjoyed by all. <br /> <br /> Throughout high school, Katie worked part time in the hospitality industry. Serving in a local banquet hall, as well as several local fine dining kitchens. Once Katie finished high school, there was only one real path which all of her friends and family knew was before her; Chef school. Katie attended a private French culinary institute in Canada, Stratford Chef’s School. <br /> <br /> Upon graduation, Katie worked several private chef gigs throughout North America. This gave her off seasons in between her contracts to go and travel, which is a major hobby and love of hers. She took her time to explored Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and Central America solo and with friends. This broadened her scope in cooking, giving her new flavours and ingredients to unwrap and understand. <br /> <br /> Once the travelling itch was satisfied, Katie began to explore new avenues to merge her existing career with other hobbies and passions like travel and scuba diving. This is where interest and recommendations came for the yachting industry. She travelled to South Africa to complete her yachting qualifications in 2021, where she met Captain Bart in Cape Town through the local yachting community. Our first Captain and Chef couple’s job came quickly upon completion of my STCW yachting course. We began our journey together on an 80” Motor Yacht in the jewel of the Caribbean, The Bahamas.
