Fun stop before a show at Variety Playhouse! Great boiled peanuts to snack on and the jalapeños slaw was nice and crunchy.
Pickleback shot and an Ultra
Not very inviting, it's one of those "if you know you know" spots; the patrons always seem to be enjoying themselves when I have walked by in the past. Cool aesthetic if youre into pirates and sports, I guess. I have never wanted to go inside before but I checked out their menu late night and thought I'd try the Cod fish sandwich. No one greeted us upon entry, we seated ourselves. I spoke with another patron who insisted that if we wanted any service we would have to order from the bar. I stood at the bar as others were prioritized before me- they were hospitable once I began to order. When I did finally get to order, they were out of the Cod (whole reason for going). I ordered the perogies, brisket&slaw sandwich combo- each dish was entirely too salty. Couldn't finish any of it. They did make a DECENT Malibu and pineapple
Solid spot for beer, cocktails or tots. Yes, the tater tots are great - you can get them plain or Yacht Tots which are basically loaded tots. There are plenty of bar seats and outdoor seating as well. Tecate is only $3.50 - almost unheard of these days. Definitely enjoy stopping by the Yacht Club for a classic dive bar experience when I'm in Atlanta.
I have been dying to come here and I finally got the chance! I was going to a show at Aisle 5 with some friends so we popped in here about an hour before start and we were not disappointed. Plenty of space to sit which was awesome and you order at the bar! I love the Lowkey vibe and tax is included in all prices so your total is a round number which I thought was cool. I got the $3 draft of PBR and the Cuban sandwich with fries. The food came out PIPING hot!! That sandwich was delicious and different from your traditional Cuban and it came with this great spicy salsa. The fries were thin and crispy as well. Overall such a great experience. Best dive bar and a must stop in L5P
Cuban Sandwich Fries
While in the five points neighborhood, I stumbled upon this gem of a dive bar. Barely 6pm on a Friday that brought its fair share of rain and sunshine, ducking into this spot was a great choice. I initially stopped in to use their restroom as my friend was on a deep dive through cds and vinyls across the street (in a place that didn't have restrooms - dernit). After that pit stop, I came back out and realized that this spot was really on fire! The bar was lined with chatty guests, at least 3 of the booths had parties in them and outside, some guests lingered enjoying the Sun which decided to come out for us. So I figured, "why the heck not?" and opted to chill for a bit. The bartender noticed me and assisted me so quickly, despite also handling everyone else at the bar. So appreciated! I decided to go for a raspberry sour + an order of cracklins,, and opted to sit outside. My beer was ice cold and the cracklins hot af and so fresh. They were still crackling when I got them! They were also very well-seasoned. I loved that the bartender stuck his head out the door to see if I enjoyed them :) When my friend joined me and I told her that they also had boiled peanuts (a fave of us both) she decided to grab an order + a beer. Man, I'm so glad she went for the boiled peanuts because they were delicious! I don't love everyone's boiled peanuts, lol but these were legit and so flavorful. I ended up buying two more orders, one for home and another for the moment we finished polishing off the first order lol. Such a cool, down to earth vibe. I can't wait to come back and try more of the teams' faves. Yum!
I was in Little 5 Points for a concert at Variety Playhouse so we needed a place for quick dinner before the show. There's plenty of space inside and it's pretty quiet which we appreciated. You can seat yourself and then order at the bar. I got a draft of PBR for $3 (love a deal) and the jerk chicken philly. The food came out super quick and super hot! I absolutely loved my sandwich, the jerk chicken had so much flavor and the onions and peppers were grilled to perfection. My tater tots on the side were pretty yummy too. Overall, a really chill dive bar I will definitely be returning to!

Dive bar indeed and we stopped in to continue visiting all the fun spots in Little Five Points. It was busy on a Friday night but we found spots at the bar where we could see the television well enough to cheer for the mixed curling between Sweden and Switzerland. Nice big tv and this would definitely be a fun spot for any local sports event. Beer was cold, service was decent and the Yacht Club (despite the fact that there isn't open water for 250 or so miles) is a fun hangout. [Review 16687 overall - 462 in Georgia - 199 of 2022.]
Love this place. Cozy feel but I've never been to a dive bar with food as spectacular as the BBQ was here. Bartender was friendly and had a fine selection of beer and liquors. If you are a fan of dive bars or BBQ I can not recommend this place more. Whenever I'm in the area this is a place I make a point to visit.
The Euclid Avenue Yacht Club is the ideal place to start your night when going to a concert at The Variety Playhouse. The food and drinks were delicious. We started with boiled peanuts (top notch) and then shared a fish sandwich (with American Cheese) and fries. Our friends had the chicken sliders. The food came out quickly. You have to order from the bar but the staff is efficient and attentive. The place is comfortable and clean. The scene is as you would expect for L5P. If you're from out of town, think biker meets hip hop with a twist of dude. We always go here when in the neighborhood and will go back.
This place rules. My girlfriend, a group of friends and I hit this up after a show while in town and holy cow! I can't wait to go back! The food was fantastic, the staff were superb and the old fashioned's were stellar.

The 14 Best Dive Bars In Atlanta
Little Five is the divey epicenter of ATL. Almost every bar in that hood could be classified as a dive, but Euclid Avenue Yacht Club is the quirkiest and one of the oldest. Their door says “membership not required,” but if it was, we’d absolutely pay the fee to belong to this dive bar staple in Little Five. The walls are stuffed with nautical-themed knickknacks (a giant shark, a bust of a mermaid) that look like they’ve been on the walls since the bar opened in the ’80s. After a few reliable beers, we’ll need one of their massive and messy burgers to keep our sea legs. Our favorite is the Backyard Burger with a spicy jalapeño ranch slaw dripping out the sides. Sure, there are plenty of places to get a burger and a brew in L5P, but Yacht Club's small space and nautical theme is our siren song for a wild night.
