67m DRIZZLE yacht was built by master shipbuilders, Feadship , featuring an exterior design by De Voogt Naval Architects.

The $80 million superyacht was delivered to the experienced yacht owners in 2012, replacing their yacht of the same name.

The outdoor spaces of the DRIZZLE yacht offer al fresco dining and a spacious sun deck for relaxation and rejuvenation. Across three decks, there are multiple spaces for leisure and entertainment.

She features a deck jacuzzi and a deck that wraps around the yacht. There are three seating and lounging areas across the yacht.

In 2019, a full-length swim platform was fixed to the DRIZZLE yacht with a shower and a swim ladder. The crew quarters are impressive and include a separate and fully enclosed lounge and crew mess.

The owner was particularly concerned for the crew’s welfare and insisted on high-quality finishing to optimize their comfort.

Feadship De Voogt Naval Architect penned the exterior design and naval architecture of the DRIZZLE. The low profile of the DRIZZLE yacht enhances the contemporary lines of the yacht.

She was built by Feadship in their Aalsmeer shipyard in the Netherlands, featuring a steel hull, teak decks, and aluminum superstructure.

Feadship delivered DRIZZLE in 2012, and she was last refitted extensively in 2019.

The DRIZZLE yacht has a length of 67m, a beam of 11.2m, and a draft of 3.65m. She has a volume of 1274 gross tons, and 2 MTU engines drive her through the water.

She maintains a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 16 knots, with a range of 4500 nautical miles.

She is built to Lloyds Register classification society rules and is MCA Compliant. DRIZZLE has a $5 – $8 million running cost per year.

SPAIN’S richest man Amancio Ortega is selling his biggest yacht for a cool €76million. 

The Spanish fashion mogul, 85 purchased the 67 meter superyacht, Drizzle, in 2012 for €95million but now wants to upgrade his fleet and purchase a new boat worth a whopping €172million.

The Inditex founder, who has a net worth of €70billion, wants to upsize his boat to make his Mediterranean coastline cruises even more luxurious. 

Lavish yacht Drizzle is now for sale on the website of the Mallorcan company, Hamilton Marine in Puigpunyent, which specialises in luxury sailing.

The interior of the boat offers accommodation for up to 12 people, boasting seven double cabins for its occupants to sleep in.

It also has room for nine crew members and all the luxuries a billionaire could ask for, including a gym, pool, spa and cinema room.

Drizzle weighs 1,276 tons, is 68.77 metres long, has a top speed of 16.5 knots and boasts a teak deck and steel hull.

Inditex, the world’s largest retailer which is controlled by Ortega, recorded a 49% increase in sales to €11.9 billion during the six months to the end of July while it recorded €1.3 billion of profits compared with a €195 million loss last year when lockdowns forced the closure of its shops.

The fashion retailer, which also owns the Pull & Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho brands and has 6,654 stores around the world., said that its profits had reached ‘historic highs’ while first-half earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation increased by 109% to €3.1 billion.

Inditex compró a Amancio Ortega un avión privado por 46 millones de euros

• El grupo Inditex adquirió a su máximo accionista, Amancio Ortega, un avión privado de segunda mano por 46 millones.
• La nave, destinada a la movilidad de sus equipos directivos, "no generó beneficio económico ni un posible trato de favor" a favor de su máximo accionista, según explica la compañía.

Inditex celebra mañana, martes 9 de julio, su junta de accionistas , y la documentación previa revela que durante el pasado ejercicio la multinacional firmó la compra de un avión privado a “una sociedad perteneciente al grupo de sociedades del accionista de control”, es decir, a su fundador: Amancio Ortega . 

La operación se realizó para “el normal desarrollo de su negocio”, tal y como consta en la documentación que hace pública Inditex de forma previa al acto.

Por ella se abonó 46 millones de euros , según se infiere de las cuentas anuales consolidadas del grupo, que reflejan el montante en su apartado de operaciones con partes vinculadas. En concreto, en este caso se refiere a las empresas de su máximo accionista: Pontegadea Inversiones, Partler Participaciones, y Partler 2006. 

El precio, detalla la empresa en el informe anual de la comisión de auditoría y cumplimiento sobre operaciones vinculadas, fue fijado tras “sendas tasaciones realizadas por dos consultores independientes, de reconocido prestigio internacional del sector”.

Según explicita el grupo textil se trata de una “oportunidad”, al poder "adquirir con inmediatez una aeronave que cumplía con los requisitos operativos" demandados por Inditex, lo que le permitió evitar “una espera de aproximadamente 3 años , que es lo que tardaría la entrega de un avión nuevo, de haberse optado por esta opción”.

El gigante textil se vale del transporte aéreo para el movimiento de sus mercancías , pero también para las necesidades de movilidad de sus equipos directivos por todo el globo. Su presidenta, Marta Ortega , o su consejero delegado, Óscar García Maceiras, disponen de aviones privados.

La aeronave adquirida el año pasado está enfocada a cubrir estas últimas, según detalla la empresa a Cinco Días , quien añade que el avión es operado por una empresa especializada.

Además, la compañía defiende que el avión, de segunda mano, está en “perfecto estado técnico y de mantenimiento”, y que también le resultaba una opción “más económica, por cuanto su precio era notoriamente inferior al de una aeronave nueva”.

Según detalla la empresa, la operación de venta no generó beneficio para Amancio Ortega. Se concluyó que, con la venta de la aeronave, la parte vendedora, como sociedad vinculada al accionista de control de Inditex, " no estaba obteniendo un beneficio económico ni un posible trato de favor ", señala la empresa, que no detalla el tipo o el modelo del avión.

Con menos calado económico y de forma inversa, la venta del avión no es la única que alberga los mismos protagonistas. El mismo texto detalla también la transmisión de una parte de un local de negocio, un sótano, propiedad de una filial del Grupo Inditex, a una sociedad perteneciente al grupo de sociedades del accionista de control de Inditex y que ya era titular de la propiedad del resto del espacio del local comercial.

La citada operación se justificó en la oportunidad comercial de arrendar el local comercial completo a un tercer operador que había mostrado su interés en alquilarlo.

La relación entre Inditex y su máximo accionista y fundador, Amancio Ortega , no queda solo en la tenencia de acciones o en los dividendos que el empresario recibe cada año . Este, además, es casero del gigante textil en algunas de sus tiendas a través de Pontegadea, su rama inmobiliaria, y desde el año pasado, también es proveedor aéreo. Al menos de forma puntual.

Inditex firmó durante el ejercicio 2023 la compra de un avión privado a “una sociedad perteneciente al grupo de sociedades del accionista de control”, es decir, Amancio Ortega, para “el normal desarrollo de su negocio”, tal y como consta en la documentación de la junta general de accionistas que la empresa celebra este martes. Una “oportunidad”, razona el grupo, al poder “adquirir con inmediatez una aeronave que cumplía con los requisitos operativos demandados por Inditex y que esta necesitaba para el normal desarrollo de su negocio”, lo que le permitió evitar “una espera de aproximadamente tres años, que es lo que tardaría la entrega de un avión nuevo, de haberse optado por esta opción”.

De dicho análisis se estableció el mencionado precio de compra que, como defiende Inditex, “era inferior al valor neto contable del citado bien en libros”, por lo que la operación de venta no generó beneficio para Amancio Ortega. “Se concluyó que, con la venta de la aeronave, la parte vendedora, como sociedad vinculada al accionista de control de Inditex, no estaba obteniendo un beneficio económico ni un posible trato de favor”, señala la empresa, que no detalla el tipo o el modelo del avión.

Junta general

Inditex celebra este martes su junta general de accionistas. Entre los puntos más destacados, además de la habitual aprobación de los resultados del ejercicio o de la labor del consejo de administración, destaca el nombramiento de Belén Romana como nueva consejera independiente.

De ella, el consejo de administración destaca “su relación y exposición ante los reguladores, factores clave ante un entorno legislativo y regulatorio muy cambiante en los últimos años y con impacto en la actividad el grupo”, según el informe de la comisión de nombramientos.

También será elegida como consejera, en su caso dominical, Flora Pérez Marcote, esposa de Amancio Ortega. Desde hace años se sentaba en el órgano de gobierno como representante de Pontegadea, pero un cambio en la ley de sociedades de capital obliga a que los consejeros sean personas físicas, y no jurídicas. De ella, Inditex destaca su “dilatada experiencia en el sector de la moda y del retail” y su larga “trayectoria profesional” en el grupo.

Por último, también se someterá a votación la reelección de la consejera independiente Denise Patricia Kingsmill.
