Simplicity as the ultimate form of sophistication is the guiding principle of ASYA ’s interior design. Her sophisticated interior from the London-based and award-winning studio Bannenberg & Rowell has a distinctly Far Eastern, restful feel, inspired by the designs of Dieter Rams, Frank Lloyd-Wright and Tadao Ando. The main saloon on ASYA features three subtly divided living areas. Entering through the aft door, a library-like space is framed by book niches, some of which are protected by coloured-glass doors and underlined by polished stainless-steel details.

In the original concept there was a partition between the seating and dining areas of the multi-function saloon, but the owner chose to change to an airy, open-plan environment. At the forward end of ASYA ’s saloon, the imposing dining table with its shiny Makassar ebony top can seat up to 12.

Daily life on ASYA takes place mostly outside or in the panoramic bridge-deck saloon, an informal and extremely comfortable room whose layout breaks the orthogonal geometry we have seen up to now. Following the superstructure curve, the interior design enhances the saloon’s spaciousness.

A large circular ceiling detail unifies the design and the layout of the furniture. A round games table, two C-shaped sofas, a circular rug and coffee tables respect the geometry of the room, which turns into a cinema for the family when the large television is switched on. Concealed behind a door to starboard is a bar and wine room.

ASYA ’s lower deck houses four guest cabins amidships — two doubles and two large twins — which are arranged along a cosy lobby and present the same decor and style featured above. Silver-grey oak joinery provides a warm atmosphere, while cabinetry and bedside cabinets feature ebony tops and bases sandwiching a cool off-white lacquer.

ASYA ’s family-friendly character extends outdoors to areas such as the main aft deck, which offers a large lounging area, and the upper deck terrace, which is equipped with an alfresco dining space. Higher still, the sundeck provides sufficient space and amenities to enjoy life at sea en plein air.

With its panoramic superyacht spa pool forward, and a fully equipped bar, sunbeds and C-shaped sofa abaft, this deck is the right spot to relax under the sun or stars. ASYA ’s stairs are protected by steel and glass barriers and gates for the safety of the owner’s children.

Guests arriving by tender will find a broad swim platform with two staircases leading up onto the main deck aft, where there is an effortless flow between the sky lounge and the upper deck aft, where guests can dine alfresco at the impressive table accompanied by 12 plush chairs, with views out across the horizon. After the meal, there are sofas along the aft where guests can gather in smaller groups to continue the conversation. The upper deck foredeck is fitted with a U-shaped seating area with a raised table for alfresco dining and spreading out with hobbies, while a large sun pad creates a place where more than one guest can sunbathe.

On the sundeck, the spectacular raised Jacuzzi on the bow is surrounded by plush sunpads and guests can marvel at the colours in the sunset skies while sipping on a cocktail or conversing with loved ones. Directly behind there are four sun loungers, while amidships in the shade there is an alfresco dining table for up to 12 guests and an adjacent bar. To the aft the central section is left clear while a sofa flows in one continuous line along the stern.

The lower deck stern contains the tender garage and water toys and connects to the main deck via a small staircase. The guest accommodation is located forward of the engine room and contains two double cabins and two twin cabins, each with en-suite facilities. The crew are accommodated in the bow where there is also a mess and access the space via their own separate stairway.

On the main deck, the full-beam Master suite is a beautiful light-filled space using texture and muted colours for a tranquil environment. There is a forward en-suite bathroom with tub, a walk-in wardrobe and a study for guests to enjoy spending time in solitude on their own pursuits.

ASYA Specifications

Behind the main foyer, the formal dining area and main salon combine to form one large space, which is decorated in silk, pale oak and Makassar wood for a finely crafted appearance. Silver and gold tones with accents in orange create a welcoming space, where guests can lounge on the sofas before dining alfresco at the square dining table.

The bright and airy skylounge uses glossy white panelling to reflect the light, emphasising the sense of space while guests unwind on the sofas, watching TV or having a drink at the bar.

She is luxurious, elegant, majestic... Whichever wording you choose, any of them fits the 4-deck 47m superyacht 'ASYA', built in steel and aluminum by one of the world leaders in the industry, the Dutch shipyard ' Heesen ' in 2015.

     Within a year of her launch, this stunning example of the collaboration between Dutch bureau ' Omega Architects ', London-based design studio 'Bannenberg & Rowell' and the Heesen shipyard was a nominee and finalist in the world's top yachting awards, garnering recognition and becoming Heesen's signature yacht of recent years. 

YACHT CONCEPT

One glance at ASYA is enough to get a sense of her elitism. With her impressive size, she is the new incarnation of the proven 47-meter semi-custom production platform of the Dutch shipyard Heesen, which has been at the cutting edge of technological progress in recent years. More specifically, she is the 2nd of only 8 such yachts built by the yard. The client, who is directly involved in the construction of luxury hotels and accommodation in the UAE and wanted to build a yacht for his family of 4, deliberately chose this HEESEN model for her proven and unique performance, her careful balance of classic and modern naval architecture, and her almost unprecedented ability to create his own interior and exterior solutions. 

     The smooth, elegant lines of the classic exterior are enhanced by large windows in keeping with the latest industry trends. The windows have a special black border - a signature design move of design maestro and founder of Omega Architects, Frank Laupman , which immediately catches the eye against the dripping white color of the hull and superstructure of the vessel. In addition, the large "ASYA" name with bright night lighting on both sides and stern makes the yacht even more visible from afar. 

Fun Fact : the yacht was announced as the 'Ruya Project' in April 2015. Ruya, chosen by Heesen from an online Facebook naming campaign, means different things in several languages. 

In Arabic, ruya means vision. In Turkish, dream. In Chinese, it describes the wise, modest nature of an ancient scholar.  

"Simplicity and repose" - this is how the ASYA interior was characterized by its author and founder of the London design studio ' Bannenberg & Rowell ' the successor and heir of the famous yacht architect John Bannenberg* - Dickie Bannenberg.

    The designers recreated the atmosphere of a luxury resort hotel on board ASYA, which is only natural given the owner's business activities. All interior and exterior spaces are peaceful, tranquil and relaxed, thanks to Bannenberg's concept of "study in serenity and calm, focusing on the purity of a combination of form and function." Therefore, in the decor intentionally used a limited range of colors: white and its warm shades, or bright, saturated colors to create spectacular contrasts. 

John Bannenberg - the "Godfather of Modern Yacht Design" - a well-known naval architect and designer. The motor yacht of his design ' Highlander ' is featured on our website. 

The main materials were silver-gray oiled oak, bleached wenge, lacquered wood, silk, bronze, as well as macassar ebony and polished stainless steel to set the right accents.

   Jewelry selected furniture and interior items from the world's leading manufacturers B&B Italia ,  William Yeoward , Interdesign and De La Espada are harmoniously complemented by author's custom-made furnishing elements. In particular, Bannenberg & Rowell specialists drew the idea of visualizing bedside tables "hanging in the air" from the gadgets of the genius of minimalism Steve Jobs.  

The ASYA main saloon, divided into three zones, is a perfect example of this concept. Entering from the stern, you can find a library-like space framed by book niches, some of which are protected by coloured-glass doors and underlined by polished stainless-steel details.Then you get to the main lounge with two Maxalto Simplex sofas by B&B Italia, and pair of padded chaises longues by bespoke Italian manufacturer Meridiani, from which you will not want to get up while tasting cocktails at exclusive coffee tables. The salon space is crowned by a grand dining area in the bow with an impressive table for 12 persons made of a single piece of ebony..

Going up the spiral staircase one level above, you will find a vast lounge bathed in daylight designed for socializing and relaxation, with sofas so soft that once you sit down, you will safely forget that you were going somewhere. In addition, there is a bar, a wine room, a round table for all sorts of games, and the presence of a huge TV allows you to transform the space into a cozy movie theater.

GUEST ACCOMMODATION

A SYA layout can comfortable accommodate up to 12 people in 5 cabins.

     An immaculately designed master suite is located forward on the main deck, occupying the entire width of the main deck. It offers a study, a king-size bedroom, a huge bathroom with a large whirlpool tub and shower on the port side and dressing rooms on the starboard side.

     The lower deck is entirely dedicated to the guests, where there are 2 VIP cabins with queen-size beds and 2 twin cabins with double beds and one pulman in each. Any of the cabins is as good as the master's suite.

     The crew's area is completely separated from the guest area so that nothing can distract guests from their perfect time.

The elegant exterior, shrewdly designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, exudes sophisticated chic which you immediately feel when you arrive on board, stepping onto the broad swim platform with two staircases leading up onto the main deck aft, where there is an effortless flow between the sky lounge and the upper deck aft.

WATER ACTIVITIES

ASYA is not just about spacious exterior spaces and an inviting interior. Equipped with an impressive array of water activities, she can turn any sea into her own playground. Burst into the open sea on a powerful and surprisingly maneuverable jet ski, plunge into the depths with professional diving equipment, glide safely across the surface or swim with fish with help of two seabobs. If that's not enough, the team offers fishing and snorkelling equipment. As for the tenders, thanks to the restyling of the 47 series, ASYA is equipped with a dedicated storage area for the luxurious 7-meter  Dariel Custom tender.

PERFORMANCE & RANGE

ASYA is truly powerful and comfortable. Her displacement metal hull, bulbous bow and state-of-the-art roll stabilization systems will make any, even very long distance crossings pleasant and comfortable for the most sea-sensitive guests. As far as her performance is concerned, ASYA is well adopted for long voyages. The 47m/153ft superyacht ASYA has joined the global charter fleet, and will be available in Mediterranean hotspots such as the French Riviera and Corsica from mid-July.

Delivered by Heesen Yachts in 2015, ASYA combines sophisticated design inside and out from some of the greatest names in modern yachting. A fine addition to the Mediterranean charter fleet, she suits a wide range of parties no matter whether fun, relaxation or discovery is on the agenda.

Sure to stand out in the glittering French Riviera , her exterior design from Frank Laupman of Omega Architects blends beautiful traditional lines with contemporary flair. Her elegance is further emphasised by the continuous use of glazing and matching black paintwork on the main and upper decks.

Spacious outdoor areas ensure charter guests can lay back in luxury while taking in views of the region when docked in iconic yachting hubs such as Cannes or St Tropez , or discovering the wild beauty and unique blend of class and charm of nearby Corsica .

On the sundeck, unwind in the Jacuzzi, sip cocktails at the sleek bar or recline on a line-up of chaise loungers. There is also a large alfresco dining option here, and the opportunities for getting together with family and friends over a drink or dinner continue onto the upper and main decks aft.

Styled by renowned designers Bannenberg & Rowel, the interior of luxury yacht ASYA has a Far Eastern-inspired feel for the utmost tranquillity on your yacht charter . The look has been achieved by contrasting silver-grey oiled oak, silk and bronze with dark Macassar ebony and polished stainless steel accents.

In the main salon, guests have the choice of three areas in which to spend their time. A library-like space offers a quiet spot for contemplation, while sofas and armchairs create a sociable lounge area, and 12 guests can enjoy formal dining around a slab of Macassar ebony forward.  

There is also a bridge deck lounge, complete with a bar and wine room as well as a large TV. Watch a movie here or enjoy a drink as the soothing styling aboard the motor yacht continues. Textured soft furnishings create subtle contrasts and rich pops of colour add to the sensuality of the surrounds.

After a busy day on the water, guests can retreat into one of five serene staterooms. The master suite is located on the main deck forward, and two doubles cabins and two twin cabins are found on the lower deck. All en-suite bathrooms boast striped marbles in earthy, neutral tones.

It has benefited from the expertise of Bannenberg & Rowell, which has delivered a welcoming and comfortable interior design, with rounded equipment to make sailing moments more enjoyable. Onboard, guests are bathed in a warm atmosphere where the parquet floors and furniture play between the reflections of silver oak and ebony wood. Outside, Omega Architects have transformed each space into a place of relaxation, and there is no shortage of refuges for a maximum cocoon effect. The unmistakable moment on board will undoubtedly be the sunset observed from the flybridge jacuzzi, or lying in one of the many sunbathing areas, with a homemade cocktail in hand.

It is in this warm atmosphere that you will be able to sail in search of the most wonderful destinations in the Mediterranean. From Calvi in Corsica to Porto Cervo in Sardinia, you will discover jewels only a few hours away from Antibes, Saint-Tropez and Monaco.

Embarkation & Disembarkation

Our fleet of yachts is available all over the French Riviera, so in most cases, you will be able to embark and disembark at the location of your choice.

Please note, however, that if you choose a yacht that is not based where you wish to embark, you will be charged a delivery fee corresponding to the fuel consumption. If such charges apply, your Excellence representative will advise you of the exact amount before you proceed with the booking.

If you have any preferences regarding the place of embarkation or disembarkation, do not hesitate to ask your Excellence representative.

ASYA is a luxurious 153-foot (47m) displacement motor yacht, constructed by Heesen Yachts and delivered in 2015. ASYA boasts a sophisticated exterior design by Frank Laupman from Omega Architects and a first-class reputation for charters.

This superyacht’s style combines traditional elegance with contemporary lines that compliment her sophisticated interior, designed by Bannenberg & Rowell.

Charter yacht ASYA can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in five luxurious staterooms. Each stateroom is inviting with its warm color palette and plush beds. The yacht’s full-beam master suite is located on the main deck and features an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower, a walk-in wardrobe and a study. Further guest staterooms are located on the lower deck. They include two double cabins and two twin cabins with Pullmans. Each stateroom is complete with its own en-suite facility. ASYA’s crew are accommodated towards the bow, and their quarters feature a separate crew mess and access stairway. While aboard the crew will ensure guests have the utmost privacy and first-class service.

ASYA’s symmetrically styled main salon is subtly divided into three impressive and different living areas. Within this is a formal dining space with a large Makassar ebony topped dining table that can seat up to 12 guests, a lounge area with a games table, cinema setup and a concealed bar and wine room.

The exterior spaces of superyacht ASYA provide the perfect family environment with a large aft lounging area, an upper deck terrace featuring alfresco dining space, and a sundeck. The sundeck is complete with a Jacuzzi, fully equipped bar and sunpads. All the yacht’s deck areas are protected by steel and glass barriers providing a safe environment for children.

ASYA is equipped with a fantastic selection of tenders and water toys, which can be enjoyed from the yacht’s fantastic beach club.
