RIVIERA LIVING – Princess 35M Yacht for Charter & Sale – 2017 – 5 Cabins for 10 Guests, Master on Main Deck – Stabilized – South of France.

The 115’ 6” charter yacht RIVIERA LIVING from the British yard Princess Yachts was built in 2017 and constructed with a lightweight GRP hull and superstructure. She features a sleek exterior design from Bernard Olesinski, while the sophisticated modern interiors where penned by Zuretti Interior Design.

Notable features on board the Princess 35M yacht for charter RIVIERA LIVING are zero speed stabilizers, flybridge jacuzzi with abundance sunbeds, refined interiors, fold-down side balconies, air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout and a shallow draft of just 2.1m for close beach access, in summary, all you could expect on a quality Superyacht for charter on the French Riviera.

The main deck aft is furnished with a wet bar forward to port and a sofa/sunbed, dining table and movable chairs for comfortable outdoor dining followed by a nap in the sunshine. Two stairways descend to the lower deck swim platform, which has plenty of room for spreading out with the water toys.

Side walkways lead to the stairways up to the foredeck, where guests have uninterrupted views of the anchorage while enjoying drinks from the sofas or resting on the double sunbeds closer to the bow. The flybridge has sunbeds along the stern a Jacuzzi, a wet bar amidships to port and a C-shaped sofa and raised table to starboard for alfresco meals in the shade. Her raised pilothouse offers direct access to the flybridge.

RIVIERA LIVING’s well-appointed accommodation sleeps comfortably up to 10 guests in 5 en-suite staterooms, with a crew of 6 for first-class service on every charter cruise.

The Master suite is forward on the main deck with King-size bed, then the main foyer with day head amidships to starboard, and the fully equipped galley to port.

The formal dining area is forward within the saloon and sets up to eight to ten guests in an intimate environment. There is a glass sliding door on both sides of the room to open the space up and create a greater connection with the environment, and fold-down side terraces are also installed. The rest of the saloon has ample seating around a central coffee table and a wall-mounted widescreen TV on the aft starboard wall.

The lower deck hosts the crew accommodation forward, the versatile guest accommodation amidships (3 VIP double cabins with Queen-size beds and a Twin convertible), the engine room behind and the tender garage with storage for water toys in the stern.

Twin 1926 Hp MTU Diesel engines produce a top speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots. Her economical cruise speed of 16 knots favours a longer range of course.

On show at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 , the Riviera 465 and 505 SUVs share a strong heritage that combines the spirited bluewater performance and open water sports cockpit of the Riviera Sports Motor Yacht Collection with the single-level living, entertaining and relaxation spaces of their Sport Yachts.

The Riviera SUV concept has been widely celebrated since the first model, the 445, was launched in 2012, and now includes seven models from 39 to 64 feet in length. The showcase will also include the popular 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition.

Riviera Australia owner Rodney Longhurst said Riviera and their European representatives were proud to display these magnificent yachts from Riviera’s diverse six model collections from 39 to 78 feet, where every yacht shares the 43-year tradition of evolution and bluewater pedigree.

The team at Cannes will provide presentations on all of Riviera’s individual models, including the new 46 Sports Motor Yacht, 585 SUV and 58 Sports Motor Yacht.

The 46 Sports Motor Yacht offers multiple entertaining spaces that stretch from the deep boarding platform to relaxing foredeck sunlounges and a generous open flybridge with hardtop. The yacht’s accommodation deck offers three double staterooms and two generous bathrooms.

The 585 SUV provides welcoming spaces from stem to stern, offering exceptional comfort while enhancing the superb indoor/outdoor lifestyle features that make the SUV models so popular.

Clever use of space includes three large staterooms and three bathrooms, as well as a generous space aft of the full-beam midships master suite that can be configured as a utility room, laundry, crew quarters or additional accommodation with its own bathroom.

The new 58 Sports Motor Yacht will premiere in late 2023. With a superb blue-water hull design, wide open cockpit, alfresco deck, expansive saloon and accommodation deck comprising three staterooms and two bathrooms, this yacht offers exceptional internal volume.

The four-sided enclosed flybridge is more like a second saloon with a forward helm, twin captain’s chairs and forward and aft lounges. Just like the saloon deck, the flybridge flows out to a very generous and covered aft deck.

Riviera 465 SUV – European premiere

An entertainer’s delight, the Riviera 465 SUV offers a covered alfresco deck that expands the saloon living space by almost a third, just one of multiple entertaining spaces. She includes a dual-purpose wide, open water sports and entertainer’s cockpit and a foredeck that welcomes with twin sun pads.

A gourmet U-shape galley is aft on the starboard side of the saloon. Forward on the port side, a large folding timber dining table is surrounded by a luxurious C-shape lounge that will seat up to six people. The helm is immediately forward of the galley.

The 465 SUV offers three generous staterooms and two bathrooms on the accommodation deck. Power for the 465 SUV is twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS800s delivering 441 kW (600 hp) each.

Riviera 505 SUV – European premiere

The Riviera 505 SUV blends the design of Riviera’s world-class Sports Motor Yacht Collection with the single-level lifestyle living of the Sport Yacht design.

Her large and flexible cockpit allows for fishing, diving, paddleboarding or simply entertaining with family and friends, while the semi-enclosed alfresco deck forward is the 505 SUV’s social centre.

Flowing from the alfresco deck is the luxurious saloon with an aft galley to port and lounge area opposite; forward the helm is located on the starboard side with additional lounge and dining opposite.

Below, the accommodation deck offers a full-beam master stateroom with ensuite amidships, a VIP guest stateroom forward and a twin-berth guest cabin to starboard with an additional bathroom.

Power for the 505 SUV is twin Volvo Penta D8 IPS 800 turbo diesels delivering 441 kw (600 hp) each. Volvo Penta D11 IPS 950s delivering 533 kw (725 hp) each are available as an option.

Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht – on display

The outstanding 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition offers a new style entertainer’s cockpit that features a wraparound lounge. She provides three staterooms on the accommodation deck, including a full-beam master amidships and two bathrooms.

Power for the 4600 Sport Yacht is twin Volvo Penta D6-IPS650s delivering 353 kW (480 hp) each or D8-IPS800s delivering 441 kW (600 hp) each.

Tell us a bit about where you live on the côte d’azur.

We live just outside Cannes, in the South of France. Cannes is a seaside town in the heart of the French Riviera with an old town, a port full of classic and motor yachts and countless great restaurants, hotels and beaches. It is famous for its celebrity festivals, mega yachts and glamour, but deep down, it is still a tiny fishing town with a vibrant local heart.

Locals love the ‘split-personality’ of the town. We have the glitz and glamour of the big festivals, including the Film Festival and all the razzmatazz and celebrities surrounding it. For most of the year, Cannes is just a friendly local town with great restaurants, markets, beaches, and weather!

Market day is almost every day in Cannes. The fresh food, fruit and vegetable market, Marché Forville, is on every day except Monday when it’s an antique market. I love the artisanal pasta stall in Forville market – the pasta is to die for!

Why (in your opinion) is Cannes an excellent place for someone to visit?

Cannes is world-renowned for its glamour and is on most people’s ‘to-visit’ list – coupled with great beaches, markets, shopping and restaurants, it has everything you need for a fabulous holiday. In addition, most people don’t appreciate that Cannes is also an excellent springboard for exploring the whole area of the Cote D’Azur. Within easy reach are St. Tropez, Monaco and even Italy. The Esterel mountain range is on the doorstep with excellent hiking opportunities and a fantastic coastal drive, plus the stunning Mercantour national park is only 1h30 away.

Is there a must-see attraction near Cannes?

The Isles des Lerins are two islands only a 30-minute boat ride from Cannes. They are a world away from the hustle and bustle of town and are an absolute haven of peace and beauty. Moreover, from 2021, there is now an underwater museum of statues that have been sunk just off the islands, which you can snorkel down to. We can’t wait to check them out!

Where do you go for coffee.

I am not a big coffee drinker, but I like a brisk morning walk along the seafront and grabbing a coffee and croissant from one of the food outlets / cabanes there.

Do you have a favourite bakery?

Jean Luc Pele is a lovely bakery on Rue Meynadier – they make fantastic sandwiches and pastries. Oh, and chocolate!

Where do you recommend for casual lunch with friends?

It has to be one of the beach restaurants on Plage du Midi or La Croisette – a fresh, crisp salad or moules frites with the sand between your toes and the sea lapping onto the shore is a year-round luxury.

Where is your go-to spot for an apéro?

I love the Radisson Blu rooftop bar for an apero – the views over the Esterel, with the sun setting, is out of this world.

What is your top pick for a romantic dinner?

Very definitely, Le Maschou in Le Suquet (15 Rue Saint-Antoine) is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner—a cave-like restaurant with candle-lit tables and meat grilled over an open fire. The set menu includes a basket of crudites from the local Marché Forville, a glass of sangria, and a selection of meat and desserts. Top tip – the chocolate mousse is fantastic.

Where do you like to go for dinner with friends?

If you want a great, fun and lively night out, my top pick is Le Salon des Independants in Le Suquet – it’s a set menu (with choices for main and dessert) with wine and shots of vodka (!) included, and they always have live music after the meal. It’s not the spot for a diner à deux, but you can’t beat it for a group of friends!

What about family-friendly dining?

If we are eating out with the family, we like to get an early table at La Piazza – the food is top-notch, and they are great with kids.

What is the best day trip from cannes.

For something completely different, the best day trip is to one of the Wonders of Europe and the European Grand Canyon – the Gorges du Verdon . It’s about a 1h45 drive from Cannes but is worth every bit of the journey time. You can rent kayaks, boats, pedaloes and stand-up paddles to explore the gorge on the water or strap on your hiking boots and take on some fabulous hiking routes there.

If money was no object, where would you recommend staying.

It must be the Grand Dame of Cannes – The Carlton Intercontinental. It’s undergoing a massive refurbishment program, so I can’t wait to see what it’s like when it reopens. Think sea views, luxurious fittings and 5 * grandeur.

Where do you recommend staying for comfortable accommodation?

For me, it would always be a self-catering apartment giving you the flexibility to eat in or out as you, please. You will always get more bang for your buck with self-catered accommodation vis-a-vis hotels’ size and location. Riviera hosts two european premieres of new suv models at cannes.

Australia’s premium luxury motor yacht builder, Riviera, has announced the European premieres of two new models from its highly popular SUV Collection, the 465 and 505, at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 12 to 17.

The 465 and 505 SUVs share a strong heritage that combine the spirited blue-water performance and open water sports cockpit of the Riviera Sports Motor Yacht Collection with the single-level living, entertaining and relaxation spaces of their Sport Yachts. The Riviera SUV concept has been widely celebrated since the first model, the 445, was launched in 2012, and now includes seven models, from 39 to 64 feet in length.  

The showcase will also include the popular 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition.

Riviera Australia owner Rodney Longhurst said that Riviera and their European representatives were proud to display these magnificent yachts from Riviera’s diverse six model collections from 39 to 78 feet, where every yacht shares a 43-year tradition of evolution and blue-water pedigree.

The team at Cannes will provide presentations on all of Riviera’s individual models, including the superb new 46 Sports Motor Yacht, 585 SUV and 58 Sports Motor Yacht.

The 46 Sports Motor Yacht offers multiple entertaining spaces that stretch from the deep boarding platform to relaxing foredeck sun lounges and a generous open flybridge with hardtop. The yacht’s accommodation deck offers three double staterooms and two generous bathrooms. 

The 585 SUV provides welcoming spaces from stem to stern, offering exceptional comfort, while enhancing the superb indoor/outdoor lifestyle features that make the SUV models so popular. Clever use of space includes three large staterooms and three bathrooms, as well as a generous space aft of the full beam midships master suite that can be configured as a utility room, laundry, crew quarters, or additional accommodation with its own bathroom.

The new 58 Sports Motor Yacht will premiere in late 2023. With a superb blue-water hull design, wide open cockpit, alfresco deck, expansive saloon, and accommodation deck comprising three staterooms and two bathrooms, this yacht offers exceptional internal volume. The four-sided enclosed flybridge is more like a second saloon with a forward helm, twin captain’s chairs and forward and aft lounges. Just like the saloon deck, the flybridge flows out to a very generous and covered aft deck.

An entertainer’s delight, the Riviera 465 SUV offers a covered alfresco deck that expands the saloon living space by almost one third, just one of multiple entertaining spaces. She includes a dual-purpose wide, open water sports and entertainer’s cockpit and a foredeck that welcomes with twin sun pads.               

A gourmet U-shape galley is aft on the starboard side of the saloon. Forward on the port side, a large folding timber dining table is surrounded by a luxurious C-shape lounge that will seat up to six people. The helm is immediately forward of the galley. 

The 465 SUV offers three generous staterooms and two bathrooms on the accommodation deck.

Riviera 505 SUV – European Premiere

Riviera 505 SUV blends the design of Riviera’s world-class Sports Motor Yacht Collection with the single-level lifestyle living of the Sport Yacht design.

Her large and flexible cockpit allows for fishing, diving, paddle-boarding or simply entertaining with family and friends while the semi-enclosed alfresco deck forward is the 505 SUV’s social centre.

Flowing from the alfresco deck is the luxurious saloon with an aft galley to port, and lounge area opposite; forward the helm is located on the starboard side with additional lounge and dining opposite.

Below, the accommodation deck offers a full-beam master stateroom with ensuite amidships, a VIP guest stateroom forward and a twin-berth guest cabin to starboard with an additional bathroom.

Power for the 505 SUV is twin Volvo Penta D8 IPS 800 turbo diesels delivering 441kw (600hp) each. Volvo Penta D11 IPS 950s delivering 533kw (725hp) each are available as an option.
