Class, distinctive style and innovative solutions
The IBIZA 85 represents the shipyard’s flagship with its 27 (85’) meters in length. Sporting features that encompass class, distinctive style, innovative solutions with design and technological proposals never used before on a boat of this size and fully custom. The close partnership with the Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design design studio has allowed us to create a boat that encompasses both the wishes of each owner by proposing an out-of-the-ordinary layout, not only for the design and partitioning of spaces but also for the technical solutions adopted on board. The setting suggested by the design lines is streamlined, elegant and sporty and does not let you imagine the huge spaces that have been created in the cockpit, deckhouse and above all below deck. Unlike sports boats, dedicated exclusively to young customers, the IBIZA 85, thanks to the technical solutions adopted on board, is also the ideal boat for more mature owners. The first striking feature is the possibility of transforming the freedom created by the total opening of the saloon (in continuity with the huge cockpit that measures 15 meters in length, between the helm station and the bathing platform), into a “sedan”, simply operating with electric controls and hydraulic movement: 2 side windows and the large glass door at the stern close and protect the saloon, emerging from the “retractable” position. The cockpit is equipped with a sundeck, under which the hangar housing the tender and other accessories is built, as well as a dining area with central table and 10 seats. Under the streamlined hard-top, sofas and furniture equipped to serve the dining area and equipped with refrigerators and freezers. The helm station, as befits a yacht of these high standards has 2 pairs of seats, all independent, to accommodate the pilot, co-pilot and two guests in comfort and safety, considering the acceleration and performance that are achieved. Access to the bow is through comfortable and safe protected passages, walk-around, always on the same floor as the saloon, to access a large area equipped with a “U” shaped sofa, two convertible tables, sundecks and 4 facing chaise lounges. in the bow. A beam of 7 meters, combined with 27 meters L.O.A. of the boat have made it possible to obtain 5 independent cabins (3 double, 2 twin) each equipped with bathroom and shower, a large kitchen and accommodation for 3 crew members, completely separate and equipped with independent services, enhancing endless possibilities of the custom construction.

First 27 metre Ibiza 85 hits the water
Italian yard Austin Parker Yachts has launched the first hull in its 27 metre Ibiza 85 series at its Pisa facilities.
It comes after the yacht’s sale was announced in March last year.
With design from Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design , the yacht has been described as the “ideal boat for mature owners” with safe walkaround passages and the option to open the saloon to the cockpit.
The first unit offers a shaded alfresco dining area and a generous foredeck with plenty of space for seating and sun lounging.
The seven-metre beam, combined with the 27-metre length, allows for a total of five cabins down below, comprising three doubles and two twins. Three crew can be accommodated in separate crew quarters.
Power comes from a pair of 2000 HP MAN engines she exceeds 40 knots of cruising at full load.
Once delivered, she will form the flagship of Austin Parker Yachts. Smaller models by the yard include the Ibiza 52, the Ibiza 44 and the Mahon 54.

In the rebranding process, which began in 2020, Austin Parker Yachts, after the launch and sale of IBIZA’s 44 WA, 52 WA and MAHON 54 MY models, started the production of a superior class yacht, the IBIZA 85. This flagship of the shipyard is a 27-meter sporty style yacht, that encompasses class, distinctive style and innovative solutions with design and technological proposals never used before on a boat of this size and fully custom.
The yacht, of which the first unit has been sold, is in an advanced stage of construction, with launch scheduled for next June. The close partnership with the Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, which designed the entire line, has allowed us to create a yacht that encompasses both the wishes of the Owner and the requests of the Shipyard, proposing an out of the ordinary layout, not only for the design and partitioning of spaces but also for the technical solutions adopted on board. The bow is accessed through comfortable and safe protected passages, walk-arounds, on the same floor as the saloon, to best access a large area equipped with a “U” shaped sofa, two convertible tables, sundecks and 4 facing chaise lounges.
A beam of 7 meters, combined with a length of 27 meters L.O.A. of the boat, made it possible to satisfy the owner’s requests to obtain 5 independent cabins (3 double, 2 twin) each equipped with bathroom and shower, a large kitchen and 3 crew quarters, completely separate and equipped with independent services, enhancing endless possibilities of the custom construction.
As a true sports motor yacht, the IBIZA 85 is equipped with 2 latest generation 2000 HP MAN engines and Arneson surface transmission group n°15 which gives the boat an estimated cruising speed between 38 and 40 knots with a maximum of 45.

Another outstanding feature that goes against the current trend and is unique to this model, is that while other sports boats are dedicated exclusively to younger customers, the Ibiza 85, thanks to the technical solutions adopted on board, is also the ideal boat for more mature owners. This is evidenced in the wide walkaround deck with safety rails, hydraulic swim platform to ensure ease of boarding after sea activities, and the fact that the cockpit and interior saloon are all on one level, making all entertaining areas easily accessible.

The cockpit is equipped with a sundeck, under which there is the hangar that houses the tender and other accessories; it also features a dining area with a central table that seats 10 comfortably. Who Goes on an Ibiza Yacht Charter?
Ibiza is the glittering jewel in the Balearics’s treasure chest, representing the perfect combination of hedonism and tranquillity – where you’ll find buzzy beach clubs and upscale dining vying for your attention with beautiful sand beaches lapped by clear turquoise waters. On top of this, visitors can immerse themselves in the island’s rich cultural history in Ibiza’s glorious Old Town.
The island attracts many A-listers and Hollywood glitterati, who come here to soak up the superyacht lifestyle and luxurious atmosphere in a medley of 5-star resorts, wellness spas and exclusive night clubs.
Part of the “Fabulous Four” in the Balearics archipelago, Ibiza was originally founded by Phoenician settlers in 654 BC and became a regular stop on the Mediterranean trade route, producing goods such as dye, salt and wool. Over the centuries Ibiza has been conquered by the likes of the Romans, Moors and even Nowegians, although eventually enjoyed autonomous rule until after the War of Spanish Succession in the 18th Century when King Philip V of Spain imposed strict rules and language on the island. At this point the Catholic church ran much of Ibiza’s affairs, including the building of several churches.
Tourism on the island began to flourish in the early 1930s after the introduction of a regular ferry from the mainland, with the subsequent development of major beach resorts in the 1950s transforming it into a major tourist hub. An influx of bohemians in the 1960s, who embraced the island’s mystical allure, greatly added to the island’s creative tilt. Today, Ibiza is a popular hotspot for visitors drawn to its utopian beaches, boho vibe and uber cool nightclubs.
Fully embrace the magic of Ibiza with a dusting of high-end glamor and choose a crewed motor yacht charter or sailing yacht charter.
As a perennial favorite destination for yacht charters in Spain , guests have ample choice when it comes to selecting a crewed charter yacht. Not sure what type of vessel to pick in Ibiza? Let's narrow down the main differences between the two:
Motor Yacht Charters in Ibiza
A crewed motor yacht charter in Ibiza is an haute-luxe affair. Think superlative amenities and services akin to a five-star hotel, combined with your own world-class chef and unparalleled freedom. Savor the thrill of being able to cruise towards blissfully secluded spots only accessible by boat, and whip out the water toys for a spin on Ibiza's calm coast. Tiptoe down to remote coves ensconced in aquamarine waters for lazy lunches or underworld adventures, before cocooning in your own private paradise.
Sailing Yacht Charters in Ibiza
The scintillating Ibizan temperatures from May till October provide a splendid climate for a sailing yacht charter. As an island known for its sun-kissed days gently cooled by slight northern winds, navigation is a breeze. Siestas are a beloved part of the rhythm of daily life here, so why not opt for a sailing yacht that mirrors this deliciously slower pace, and make the most of these vessels' wide decks for sunbathing or dining al-fresco.
With so many options available, there’s something to suit every type of budget. For convenience we have listed the average prices for motor yacht and sailing yacht charters in Ibiza below;
- For motor yacht rentals in Ibiza, prices can range from $35,741 to $2.3m per week, plus expenses
- For luxury sailing yacht rentals in Ibiza, prices can go from $33,999 to $219,800 weekly, plus expenses

Most Ibiza yacht charters will commence in Ibiza Town, where you can arrange for the yacht to be berthed in a slip for the night. There are two main harbors here, with the largest and most well-equipped being Marina Ibiza – home to numerous upscale bars and restaurants as well as celebrated clubs Blue Marlin , Lio and Pacha , great for kicking things off in style.
Ibiza Old Town is also perfect for exploring the island’s cultural roots and guests can spend their first day meandering the winding lanes, awash with colorful daubed houses and cafes that spill out onto the narrow pavements, all adding to the magical allure.
Sample itineraries
The Ibiza yachting scene is undeniably glitzy and redolent of lives well-lived. With outstanding marinas replete with exclusive restaurants and ultra-chic bars all fringed by waters with a pale topaz glow, it's no wonder berths here are so sought-after. Here are the best superyacht marinas in Ibiza.
- Ibiza Magna Marina: located in a prime position by the charming Old Town, this marina has over 85 berths for yachts up to 60m.
- Sovren Marina: situated in the heart of Ibiza, this highly exclusive marina has 16 berths for superyachts between 60m to 185m.
- Marina Ibiza: stylish marina with 425 berth capacity for yachts up to 110m.
- San Antonio Marina : nestled on Ibiza's West Coast with moorings for 578 yachts up to 55m.
For nights not spent in a marina, Ibiza is brimming with beautiful anchorage spots. One of our top picks is Cala Jondal – a long sweeping crescent of sparkling blue waters backed by smoky pines which the superyacht set flock to each year. Another top pick is the urbane-cool of Blue Marlin Beach Club and its billowing ivory cabanas beckon the most discerning jet-setters here, who sip sundowners as an apricot glow dapples the shorefront.
Further north-west, the blindingly pretty Es Cubells is where the glitterati settles for a less frenetic pace. Citrus-scented, the village is populated by clouds of bougainvillea whose petals fall like confetti in front of whitewashed fincas . Jade-blanketed cliffs cradle three quiet coves, so slip on some scuba gear or doze happily on one of its intimate beaches before jumping back on board.
Next, cruise towards the solitude of Cala d'Hort, a cove that's one part pearly-white white sands to two-parts eye-popping teal sea. You'll have an excellent vantage point here of the ethereal Es Vedrá, a lonely limestone cliff that soars majestically from the water. From your sundeck Jacuzzi, you will also be in prime position to marvel at the sunset perform its nightly arabesques, veering vividly from vermillion to magenta in minutes.
One of Ibiza's liveliest and well-known coves, golden Cala Bassa curves sweepingly into a pool of water tinted an unfathomable shade of turquoise. Tanned party-goers saunter down to its celebrated beach club for aperitifs on plumped-up daybeds, before hopping back on their superyacht to reach nearby San Antonio and shimmying till dawn.
In the north, opt for spine-tinglingly gorgeous Cala Portinatx for a glorious strip of unspoiled coastline. Watersports abound here, and hiking trail excursions providing vertiginous sea views of the glass-clear aquamarine shallows below. Seek refuge at Aguas Blancas , lingering at its tranquil beach and soaking up its laid-back bohemian atmosphere. Pay a visit to the much-loved chiringuito for a steaming paella after a sun-baked day's subaquatic exploration.
- Consider chartering a yacht on either side of the shoulder season in Ibiza if you would prefer fewer crowds. This is either April to May or September to October.
- In the Balearic Islands, anchoring directly above Posidonia (type of seagrass) preservation areas are not allowed, with fines issued if you break the rules. Protected anchorage zones in the Balearics include: Cabrera, Sa Dragonera, Cala Blava, Portopetro, Punta de L’Avançada and Cala d’Or
- You may find that whilst cruising in the Balearics some bays have color-coded buoys according to boat length. This is to help protect underwater flora and they must be obeyed.
- Most shops will close each day from 2 pm till 5 pm for an afternoon siesta.
- If you are interested in experiencing Ibiza nightlife, remember that most clubs do not open till at least midnight.
- Some coves in Ibiza (such as Aguas Blancas) have areas reserved for nudists.
- Whilst exploring onshore, it is handy to have cash on you, as a considerable number of small, independent businesses in the Balearics will not accept card payment. Luckily, there are plenty of cashpoints dotted around the marinas.
We strongly advise booking well in advance of your planned Ibiza yacht charter to ensure you get the perfect vessel for your selected dates. We recommend booking at least 3 months ahead to give your broker the time to organize a sublime bespoke yacht charter and book ahead for the nights you intend to spend in marinas. This is particularly pertinent to the Balearics, where fewer West Mediterranean yachts are in the region during peak season, and a Spanish charter license will need to be obtained.

Ibiza Yacht Charter Q&A
For most Ibiza yacht charters to be secured, you will usually need to provide a completed charter agreement and 50% of the charter fee as a deposit. This is payable once the contract has been signed.
You will have a greater variety of yachts to pick from if you decide to start your charter in Ibiza or Mallorca compared to mainland destinations. Whilst Barcelona certainly has a considerable array of yachts to choose from, it is not as extensive as the islands.
We also strongly recommend that you book your yacht charter in Ibiza at least three months in advance to ensure you get the yacht you desire. The longer you leave it, you'll find you'll have less choice available.
There is a yacht to suit almost every budget in Ibiza so rest assured that you will find a vessel suitable to your requirements.
But when booking do keep in mind the costs that aren't included in the base rate, namely VAT and the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance). The APA is usually paid in advance of the charter and is commonly set at 30% of the charter fee. This allowance covers expenses such as fuel, berthing, food and drinks, as well as any special requests.
Please consult your yacht charter broker for any other costs you may need to factor in.
May through till October is the best time to visit the sun-drenched shores of Ibiza. Temperatures can rise to a heady 31 degrees in July and August, with its waters reaching 26 degrees respectively.
Yachts will need to obtain a Spanish charter licence in order to cruise Ibizan waters, this is applicable if you are beginning or ending your charter in Spain.
Find the best Ibiza yacht that meets your requirements by browsing on our website the selection of luxury motor yachts and sailing yachts to charter in Ibiza. All you need to do is pick your chosen dates, number of guests, yacht type, features, and desired onboard toys and we'll show you what's available.
If you make a booking enquiry, a yacht charter broker will then contact you and craft a bespoke charter proposal for Ibiza.
Alternatively, you can contact your yacht charter broker directly to conduct research on your behalf.
Yes, it is certainly possible to cruise towards mainland Spain. A number of Ibiza charters (that may also incorporate the other Balearic Islands) decide to begin or end their yacht charters in popular mainland destination such as Barcelona, home to a renowned superyacht marina, vibrant Valencia, a mere 50 miles from the Balearics, or picture-perfect Dénia in the Costa Blanca.

Let us organise your perfect Ibiza yacht charter itinerary.
Our expert brokers know the cruising grounds intimately, both personally through first-hand experience and in real time through contacts on the ground. Your itinerary will be tailored specifically for you to deliver the holiday you want.
New to charter?
The Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) is due at the time of the final charter payment. Under MYBA terms, this sum is usually equivalent to 30 per cent of the total charter fee, but may be up to 40 per cent in some cases.
Intended to cover the operating expenses of a charter as explained under Charter Terms, such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees and ad hoc incidentals, the APA will be given to the captain before the start of your charter. The Captain will ensure that the yacht is fully fuelled and provisioned when you step on board. While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. If, during the charter, the expenditure exceeds the sum already paid, additional cash funds will be required at once.
All outstanding bills from the yacht charter should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before your final disembarkation. Of course, any remaining credit at the end of your charter will be reimbursed to you in full. On request, transfer arrangements to and from the yacht can be made by Burgess or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

Tips for Booking a Hotel with Expedia
Booking the right hotel is one of the most important factors when it comes to getting the most out of your vacation. If you're looking to plan an unforgettable trip, you'll need to find the right place to stay. Learn how Expedia can help you book the right hotel for your needs whether you're taking the family on a vacation, traveling with someone special, or just taking some time away for yourself.
How to book a hotel on Expedia?
When you book through Expedia, the entire process is simple. You'll find a wide range of accommodation options and destinations to choose from, as well as a variety of search filters to help you find exactly what you're looking for. That means you can search exclusively for hotels with a pool , pet-friendly policies , or family-friendly amenities . Las Vegas hotels and New York hotels are especially popular, but you'll also find options for other destinations like Myrtle Beach .
What are the most important things when choosing a hotel?
Finding the right hotel means opting for stays that cater to your unique needs. Quite a few factors go into what a hotel is like to experience, and you'll need to consider them all.
- Amenities: think about what kind of amenities you need to have. You'll find options for pools or fitness centers in hotels all across the country and beyond.
- Location: the location can also play a major role in your experience, especially if you want to be close to certain attractions like downtown or the beach.
- Price & Reviews: you'll want to find a balance between affordability and positive reviews to get as much as you can within the budget you've set.
How far in advance should I book a hotel?
You can sometimes book a hotel as late as the day before check-in, but most of the time, you'll want to book well in advance. You can see what's available up to 40 days in advance, and even monitor the price trends if you're not ready to book right away. Prices tend to go down the closer it gets to the date, especially around the 21-day mark. 21 days from your check-in, prices are generally somewhat normal, with prices often falling, then briefly rising, then falling again. Last-minute bookings can be especially cheap since hotels are desperate to book their last few rooms.
While it varies by destination, you should generally book a hotel room between 1 and 3 months before you travel. Seasonality plays a major part in rates and availability, too. For example, California or Florida are often fully booked during the busy summer months, so it's wise to reserve at least 6 months ahead when traveling at that time of year. You should also reserve well in advance if you're heading to major events. For instance, Madison Square Garden Hotels should be reserved early when there are sporting fixtures or concerts taking place. The same applies for local holidays. Hotels in New Orleans , for example, get booked out early for ‘Mardi Gras' festivities, while hotels in Mexico can be hard to come by for 'Day of the Dead' celebrations.
How can I find the cheapest hotels?
To find the cheapest hotel rooms, you'll need to consider several factors that affect the price. The time of year you visit can play a major role in price, with the off-season tending to be cheaper overall. Hotels with lower star ratings are going to be more affordable as well. Additionally, you'll find cheaper options in less popular neighborhoods, which can be an easy way to save since a lot of cheap neighborhoods in popular destinations are located right next to the hot spots. Keep in mind, however, that these are general trends rather than strict rules. Hop over to the cheap hotels page for gathering budget accommodation ideas. There, you could score the best cheap hotels in the United States of America and countless more popular spots across the globe. You'll also see alternative cheap lodging options, including hostels , vacation home rentals and motels .
How can I find some of the best deals on hotels?
If you're looking for the best hotel deals, you'll want to implement several filters into your search. You can sort your results by price so that the cheapest options are automatically put at the top of the list. Then, adjust your filters to match your budget, and whether or not you want to only include fully refundable properties. If you become a member, you'll find even more hotel discounts.
You can also download and book through the Expedia app to unlock exclusive discounts on select United States hotels and destinations worldwide. You could land significant savings on Los Angeles hotels , as well as generous discounts on hotels in Chicago and other top holiday spots. When booking in advance, you'll often score early-bird deals. That said, don't rule out last-minute offers, especially during low-season dates . Hotels in Key West and other American seaside resorts often have amazing discounts outside of the school holidays.
Why should I book a hotel with Expedia?
When you book with Expedia, planning the ultimate vacation is easier than ever. Not only will you be able to find a hotel for your trip, but we can take care of your flight as well, with the potential for additional savings if you book your flight and your stay together. Plus, you'll find flexible cancellation policies on numerous hotels along with opportunities for booking on short notice. You can become a member of our One Key Loyalty Rewards program for free and enjoy even more discounts.
There are also 'book now, pay later' hotels . As well as amazing deals, you'll have 24/7 access to support through the service page, giving you peace of mind while travelling.
Are hotels fully refundable on Expedia?
Some hotels offer flexible cancellation policies when you book with Expedia. You'll be able to see on the results page which hotels in your search are fully refundable, as each that qualifies will be marked with "fully refundable" in green letters. Additionally, you can set the 'fully refundable' filter when searching to only show results that offer free cancellation hotels .
What types of accommodation can I find on Expedia?
You'll encounter a plethora of different lodging types on Expedia, such as charming boutique hotels in Cancun and more tropical destinations. Large family-friendly and adult-only hotels in Hawaii and other beach resorts are popular among those seeking a relaxing break in the sun. For even more comfort, consider all-inclusive hotels in Puerto Rico and other summer holiday spots. This type of accommodation includes all meals and drinks, so you don't even have to lift a finger while on holiday. Bed and breakfasts , apartments and holiday ski hotels are just some of the other lodging types you can choose from.
Is it possible to filter accommodations based on specific amenities?
Yes, you'll find an array of filters that let you laser in on the best places to stay based on the amenities you need. Whether you need business facilities in your Manhattan Hotel or are seeking relaxing spa hotels in Miami , Expedia's many search filters make it easy to find the best place to stay.
How can I explore different star-rated accommodations and accommodation brands?
If you like to stay in a specific hotel, type the brand name into the search bar to see all available options. Expedia works with most of the major chains, including Hilton, Hyatt Hotels and Marriott. Scroll down further, and below the search field, you'll see the filters for star ratings. Whether you're seeking 5-star hotels in Nashville or budget hotels in New York , Expedia makes booking a breeze.
Are there accommodations located near popular points of interest or in specific neighborhoods?
One of the great things about using Expedia's hotel booking site is that you can filter search results by area and popular locations. For example, when searching for hotels in Orlando , you can select the “Walt Disney World® Resort” filter to view properties near the theme park. There's even a handy map so you can pinpoint the best place to stay in destinations worldwide.
Are luxury accommodations available on Expedia, and how can I book them?
If you're seeking a high-end experience, take your pick from the many luxury hotels available on Expedia. You can locate upscale lodging by ticking filters, like 5-star hotels, or ordering results by 'price high to low' and 'Guest rating + our choice'.
Do you cater to different types of travelers, such as business or leisure travelers?
Of course. When searching and booking a hotel room, you can filter by hotel and traveller type, including:
- Family-friendly
- All-Inclusive
- LGBTQ-welcoming
- Business-friendly
