I had my husband's Celebration of Life here and everyone on the staff was wonderful. Our Bartender, Ron, was awesome. Everyone made sure that all my needs for this special and difficult day was taken care of. Thank you

Excellent place to meet members the food and drinks are GREAT at a reasonable price and GREAT service also a pleasant atmosphere I'm very glad to join the club

A co-worker of mine had her wedding here, and while I hope it really was one of the happiest days of her life, I found the venue both dismal and vastly underwhelming as a setting for nuptials. The room we were in was far too small for the amount of tables and chairs crammed into it, and for the ceremony itself the bride and groom stood with the sun directly behind them, so nobody could see them - fortunately, nobody could see the dismal picnic benches we were perched on, or the awful waterway behind them, either. This was a terrible place to get married. Not at all picturesque.

Tried to rent function hall. Wanted to charge me $600 "cash" because it was within 30 days of my function! The funny thing was I contacted them by phone and again by email 34 days before my function, but they decided to respond within the 30 day period! Something smells fishy (no pun intended) to me. Bad business as far as I'm concerned, pretty sneaky too. Needless to say I found another venue that was very accommodating and we're happy to book my function and didn't charge extra! Amazing! Now the fox hill yacht club will probably sit empty on a night where they could of had a good profitable night. If you book here be sure to do it well in advance and make sure you keep calling so that they don't wait to sneak in past the 30 day time limit!

Good local spot- easy to join as a social member and cheap drinks and free pool for members. Takes a long time to be able to get a slip for a boat but a good place to hang out.

So disappointed with the professionalism, customer focus and lack of human decency of the event staff. Started off wrong from the get go. The evening of the event the maitre d offended guests. He took issue with two of the guests and harassed them all night and kept accusing them they had alcohol that they did not have. He ruined the nice memory guests would have left with by yelling for them to leave like they were animals. Perhaps if you are not a minority you might get better treatment at this white is right establishment.

Carter Veal, John’s Oil, Kappy’s Liquors, Kelly’s Bait Shop, Kowloon, Manny Vernaci, Mass Bay Movers, Nemo’s Bait, Pine River Fish Market, Rose Marine, Sachem Sign Works, Sal’s Clothing Restoration, San-Tron Inc., Saugus Firefighters Local 1003, Sea Tow Boston, Stoneham Boat Center, Ted Nickole Welding, The Bourneuf Corporation, The Hammersmith, Therma-Flow Inc., Thomas Studio, Tomo’s Tackle, Tom’s Bait & Tackle, Vinny and Donna DeChellis and Webster First Federal Credit Union, your generous sponsorship allowed us to promote and run a successful 16th annual Fox Hill Yacht Club Annual Striper Tournament on June 8-9, and I would like to acknowledge all who participated in the tournament, and those who attended the after party with their family members.

The generous contributions made by you, our sponsors, allowed us to provide trophies and cash prizes to the winning fishermen, and to provide kids trophies to all the children that attended. Part of the money raised will also go towards the college scholarships awarded to a few local high school students each year. A donation will also be made to The Friendship Club, a social group supporting the needs of the physically and mentally challenged people in the area.

A total of 109 fishermen took part in the festivities, of which 46 caught 55 fish over two days totaling 1,156.3 pounds.

The party started with lots of food and music and followed with awards and trophies.

Lukas Fondulis, age 11, earned the Richard O. Holt Perennial trophy, which is awarded each year to the youth with the biggest catch from both days of the tournament. His total was 40.7 pounds. Richard Holt, of Holt Manufacturing in Saugus, created the award to help promote and encourage fishing as a family sport. Stew Holt continues the tradition, and again this year donated $100 to the winner of the trophy.

For the adult division, Frank Ford took adult first place, pulling in a 40-pound striper. Jason Hurley took second place, pulling in a 35.9-pound striper. Peter Rancourt took third place, pulling in a 35.3-pound striper from Team OUZO’s boat (Thank You Capt’n Nick!).

For the junior division, 14-year-old Nick Frost pulled in a 32-pound striper for first place, and 14-year-old Reese Carvalho pulled in an 18.4-pound fish to take second place, and Alex Fondulis, 14, pulled in a 14.9-pound fish to take third place.

For the Youth division, Lukas Fondulis caught the heaviest fish overall weighing 24.5 pounds in his age group, but relinquished the first place plaque, since he won the Perennial Trophy, to the next youth Chole Cobbet, 9, with a fish weighing 19.3 pounds. I commend Lukas for a very honorable and generous gesture he made allowing the other three entered youths to receive plaques.

Conor Poverchuck, 9, pulled in a striper weighing 13.4 pounds taking second place, and Andrew Maliawco, 10, took third place with an 11.7-pound striper. This year’s smallest legal striper was 8.4 pounds brought in by Brett Donovan.

The tournament ended with a lively cookout and party hosted by the Fox Hill Yacht Club featuring DJ Murphy Herrington, which the crowd really enjoyed.

Moscow City Golf Club

It is centrally located, just off Kutuzovsky Prospect, within 5 minutes drive from the Victory Park and the Triumphal Arch. Right in the center, yet green and picturesque with lakes and 15 Century Church next to it. Moscow City Golf Club was the first one to open in Russia on September 15, 1987 at the urban wasteland on the street Dovzhenko held long-awaited 'ground breaking' - famous sportsmen Pele, Mike Tyson, Sven Tumba and Alexander Ragulin made symbolic throws with the golf clubs. This day is considered to be the day of foundation of Moscow City Golf Club. The founder of the club is Sven (Tumba) Johansson ex World Champion hockey player. Thousands of golf fans gather here every season.

Throughout its history, Moscow City Golf Club tries to maintain and develop friendly relations with the golf clubs around the world, organizing the exchange of delegations, inter-club tournaments, social events, thereby making the life of the club members more interesting. Moscow City Golf Club has signed a cooperation agreement with American Golf Club 'Deep Cliff Golf Course', Finnish 'Aura Golf', French 'Cannes Mandle' and Cyprus' Aphrodite Hills Golf '.

Each year Moscow City Golf Club holds a lot of different tournaments and activities like: children's charity tournaments and much more attracting numerous visitors.

June 26, 2004 the Club House was open again after restoration. The opening ceremony was attended by the founder of the Moscow City Golf Club Sven Tumba Johansson and officials, senior officials from the Moscow Government.

As a result, the restoration Club House was transformed into a wonderful place for relaxition and organizing events. It has spacious and luxuriously furnished rooms available for the members of the Moscow City Golf Club: restaurant, golf bar, library, cigar and billiard room, conference room, office «Old Tom», Beauty Salon & SPA, gym, showers, saunas and relaxation rooms with personal lockers. Interior of the Club House was completed in classic English style by the famous designer from Hong Kong Garvin Chen (architect Garvin Chen).

Moscow City Golf Club has a nine holes field. Six of the nine holes are par-4 and three holes are par-3. The total playing distance is 2.343 metres. Detailed description of each hole you can find on the site of the Moscow City Golf Club with the plan.

Moscow City Golf Club is a wonderfull place with impecable service, the members can gain privileges in foregn golf clubs including in the International Association of the Clubs.
