We rented catamaran in BVI with 12 Knots this March. Everything was seamless and stress-free from the moment we booked our trip until the end of it. The boat was quite well-maintained. We had no issues with the equipment and found everything to be in working order. Helene our manager from 12 Knots was incredibly helpful, providing us with all the information we needed about the boat and the area before we set out on our journey. Helene and other managers were always available to answer any questions we had. They also helped with sample itinerary and booking a skipper. Overall, we had an incredible time sailing in the British Virgin Islands with the help of 12 Knots. Their attention to details, customer service, made our trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to rent a boat in the BVI.

Honest and responsible company
Honest and responsible company. We used to book during Covid 1.5 years ago, and gave them hard time, because of restrictions and stuff. But they handled us like kings, rescheduling the trip according to contract. Read it carefully, so you aware of circumstances and responsibilities of both parties. But I can assure you’re in the right place, they’re professionals.

Outstanding Service!
Julia & team have been outstanding. We booked 3 times with them. And recently during covid they were able to negotiate a voucher b/c the crew was not able to fly. They only work with the best charters around the world. Top communication and very simple processes. Strongly reccomended!

Working with 12 Knots was a pleasure
Working with 12 Knots was a pleasure. We have traveled with Dream Yacht Charters twice (Grenada and Martinique). The first time we booked direct, the second time we booked with 12 Knots. Although we did not have any problems when we booked direct with DYC, Grigory was more easily reachable and assisted us with so much more than just the actual reservation. He was responsive and made the process easy. We would gladly work with him again when we book our next Yacht trip (we are already thinking about another location to explore for our Vacation next winter:) Steve and Kathleen

Reply from 12 Knots
Thank you Kathleen for trust in our company and positive review on our work. Really appreciate it!
12Knots - Great service throughout!
I was able to book through Julia with 12Knots.com very seamlessly. She was attentive in answering our questions and easing our concerns as we had never booked a catamaran cruise before. More so, there was a short notice issue when registering for our visa to the host nation in which Julia remained in constant contact to provide us the exact documentation required by that country of travel. Great service throughout and definitely recommended. *Note: 12 Knots was 3rd party booking for the catamaran company we sailed with. The direct catamaran company Dream Yacht Charters was also exceptional and clearly in good company with 12 Knots.

Thank you Doug for sharing you feedback and positive review!
What an amazing company
What an amazing company. We spent weeks trying to co-ordinate a 2-3 week charter with our various kids & grandchildren. Dates kept changing, length of time on Board & multiple questions about crew & experience. Through all our emails & changes, 12 Knots was so supportive & answered us back quickly with emails & calls. Then, unfortunately we had a serious illness in our family, and doctors said the trip was not advised. 12 Knots was amazing & without any delay- took care of the cancellation with professionalism & no hold-ups. I can’t recommend this company enough & fingers crossed, we will be able to sail with them next year. Thank you 12 Knots!!!

The trip from Douro Marina in Porto
The trip from Douro Marina in Porto was perfectly arranged from the very beggining to the very end. Assistance during preparation stage was full and all our requirements were met. The Staff and the Skipper were helpful and skilled so the trip was really enjoyable. Greenline40 yacht is worth recommending.

Dear Anna, thank you very much for your positive review!
Everything was perfect from start to…
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Responses to my questions were fast, clear and reliable. We were confident when we arrived at the marina that everything would go as planned. And it did. We were greeted at the hotel, driven to the marina and escorted to our sailboat. The marina was secure, clean and well maintained. The sailboat was above our expectations! The briefing was thorough. It was clear that safety was their number 1 priority, so we felt reassured. All of our requests were attended to immediately with no "additional charges". We sailed from La Paz to islands in the Sea of Cortez for a week on the beautiful well equipped Oceanis 41'. We can't wait to do it again!

This was our first bareboat charter and…
This was our first bareboat charter and we had a lot of questions. Julia and Grigory were great at walking us through the process and connecting us with a skipper. The boat was fabulous, and Raffaele is a talented skipper. Happy to say we had a wonderful time. Already booked the next adventure thru 12 Knots.

Hi Rocky, thank you for your review! Hope you next sailing vacation will be great as well!
Would reccommend!
Grigory was wonderful to work with. We planned our first catamaran trip in less than 4 weeks, knowing very little. Grigory was easily accessible, and worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed. The actual trip was really a success due to our skipper, Rodge, and chef/host/cruise director, Liston. We got so lucky with the two of them! I just can't say enough, if you go to Belize, get the amazing DUO, Rodge and Liston! Being on a boat could be tight quarters with the wrong team.... I could go on and on about homemade fry-jacks and tortillas, Liston's mom homemade guava jam, knowing there would be a "cousin" at every island stop. We had the most amazing team!!!

Thank you very much for your positive review! We are really glad that everything went well and you enjoyed your sailing vacation.
Yacht was perfect
Yacht was perfect - plenty of space and nooks to hang out in. Having sailed on a monohull before, the personal bathroom for each cabin on the catamaran was much appreciated. A/C in cabins was very nice. Plenty of hot water for showers. Our captain was Damien and he was very safety conscious and knowledgeable. His heavy French accent was sometimes tough, but if we didn’t understand, we’d ask him to repeat the explanation and he obliged. Our chef was Ina, and she was amazing —— treating us to a wide variety of wonderful dishes throughout our voyage. We would sail with this crew again in a heartbeat! There was WiFi on the boat and our baseball team was in the MLB playoffs, so we enjoyed catching an evening game on the front of the boat, looking at the stars at the same time. We also tried paddle boarding for the first time!!!

Great company that provides great customer service and find the best deals. I'm especially grateful to Grigory for helping us negotiate and reschedule our multi boat sailing trip that had to be postponed because of COVID-19. Great job and thank you!

We had so much FUN!
Hi Grigory and Julia, Thank you for your patience during the 18 months it took to arrange our trip during covid. You were so helpful and knowledgeable. Our cabin charter on the catamaran to St. Martin was just as described, if not more so. The other guests we met on board from Poland (2 couples) and Denver were great to meet and party with. The sailing and snorkeling was beyond words. The captain David and chef Denise were great. We thoroughly recommend to all readers to use 12Knots for your charter needs. We will be using you again for sure. Thanks so much for everything Grigory and Julia! John and Andry Orlando FL N0V1 2021

12 knots Charter Experience
I had a great experience with Grigory and 12 knots for my wife and I’s inaugural weeklong bareboat charter leaving out of La Paz, MX back in Jan 2021. We had originally booked a week charter out of Puerto Rico back in April, 2020 which was cancelled due to Covid, but 12 knots were very helpful and accommodating in retaining our credit for a year and applying it to our La Paz charter. As a novice to international boat chartering, Grigory was very helpful and thorough in his communication in answering my many questions. The contract and payment was straightforward and we received the boot we were promised via Dream Yacht Charters. Can’t ask for more!

Great customer service!
We had a fantastic experience using 12 Knots to find the perfect long-term charter situation for our family during COVID. They were extremely fast in responding to our inquiries and patient with a million questions on our end. We worked closely with Irina and Grigory, and I highly recommend their team. ⛵️

12knots helped me book at catamaran…
12knots helped me book at catamaran bareboat charter in Grenada. They booked the boat through Dream Yacht Charter (DYC) and all was fairly good up until close to the booking. I emailed the DYC base and asked if we could stay aboard the boat the night before we departed. This email was a month in advance. (I have done this before in the BVI without problem). The base emailed back "Of course, no problem". Thus my whole 10 person group planned to stay aboard. The night before the booking I called to confirm and was told "no, we would never say yes to that. Talk to your broker." At this point the head of the company, Grigory, became involved. He eventually came back and said that DYC charter refused to honor their email unless we paid near 2000$ for the extra day. He refused to let me speak with anyone at DYC who made the decision. More than anything, I give them 1 star for Grigory's approach to the whole situation. Not once did he sympathize with the difficulty of our situation. He was confrontational and twisting of words. He sent emails such as "We got you an extra day." But all he had done was move the entire booking a day early so then we had to leave the boat a day early. Eventually he was yelling on the phone. And near the resolution I wanted to call to make peace with them after I just resigned myself to paying the extra $2000, asked him to call me, and he simply stopped responding. His communication skills are terrible. He has a short temper. And as I told him, the whole experience would have been different if he had just said, "I am sorry, this is a terrible situation." Even if the outcome had been the same. The bigger lesson here is don't use a broker! DYC made the commitment, Grigory had no control over the outcome, and DYC charter just kept routing me back to Grigory when I called to complain that THEIR employee promised the stay the night before. Book directly with one of the charter companies. Skip the broker. And definitely don't use 12 knots. When things go bad, they have no power, no customer service, and a bad attitude. **Grigory in his reply suggests I was potentially scamming for a free night. This gives a sense of how petty he became. When you pay $12k for a service, it hardly seems like a scam when you email a month in advance to board one night early if the boat is sitting there available anyway. Again, what was upsetting was 12knots attitude, not the miscom. I think he proves it again here. Find a company that has your back when things go south. Easy to have good reviews when all goes well.

Hello Joshua, It is very sad that you put it this way. Unfortunately, we were not in copy of your correspondence with the base manager, otherwise this situation wouldn’t happen. But once you forwarded copy of your correspondence, day prior to your arrival, the situation became clear: 1) The base manager didn’t confirm you sleep aboard free of charge. Your question was, quote “Can we stay on the boat starting Friday night but not leave harbor until Sunday morning?” So, she considered that you booked the boat from Friday (since you provided no other details or dates) and just would like to stay in the marina. 2) Right after you asked us to reschedule your charter for 1 day later, to Sunday, February 19 – 26, which we did and sent you confirmation via e-mail. 3) On Thursday you communicated to us that the boat should be ready tomorrow – Friday, February 17th. That was quite a surprise since you didn’t mention it to us before at all. Anyway, I called you immediately once I received your e-mail. Explained that this charter company doesn’t offer sleep aboard. Since you insisted that you had no place to stay, we offered you 2 options (upon agreement with DYC), to board earlier on Friday 17th instead of Sunday 19th of February: • Start and finish charter 2 days earlier (the same 1-week charter) • or to Pay for 2 extra days (1 week + 2 days) You rejected both options insisting that DYC should grant you free days. Upon your arrival to the base, charter company manager provided you exactly the same options. Finally, you decided to board on Saturday and pay for 1 extra day. Conclusion: All adjustments to the booking should be done only via contact person you’ve been working from the very beginning in this case - broker. I am sorry for the inconvenience; we did our best providing you all possible options and detailed information. I hope this was just miscommunication and wasn’t done deliberately to SCAM charter company to get free days. Kind regards Grigory
!2 Knots and sailing Puerto Rico recommended
A search on the internet produced the 12 Knots operation. With apparent quality staff and experience along with the best price on a bareboat monohull influenced me to book a boat with them. We were not disappointed. Correspondence was timely, courteous and efficient. The few questions we had were quickly and accurately answered. Contracts and forms were simple and reasonable. unlike some other US based chartering companies. Upon arrival in San Juan, the arranged logistics when smoothly. Transport, provisioning and checking into the boat went well All needed was furnished. The Dufour we had reserved had been damaged the week before so we were provided a newer Beneteau 42. The boat was in excellent condition, sailed well and was adequately equipped. The journey, centered on cruising around the two big out islands, proved a good sailing adventure. Easterly winds held a steady 15-20 knots. We sailed mostly with full reefed main and storm jibbed head sail. We found several remote anchorages for quiet, sunset happy hours providing private swimming and beach exercising during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed a more crowed but friendly anchorage and night out at the new Dingy Dock Bar at Dewey on Culebra. It was another memorable and great sailing journey. We are already thinking about a return. A mega thank you to 12 Knots for excellent service and support making this happen….

Dear Gary, thank you for your positive feedback and trust in our company!
Exumas in a catamaran, 7-days cruise
My wife and I booked the catamaran, 7-days cruise in the Exumas, in a Lagoon 620 catamaran with 6 cabins. We loved it! There were a total of 12 passengers on our Catamaran, with different nationalities: American, French, Brazilian and German. People ages varied from 26 year old to maybe 40 year old. We were the oldest couple, 64 and 66 year old. Our cabin had a private bathroom, and it was bigger than we expected. We had delicious breakfasts and were served dessert with lunch and dinner every day. Beverage options included table wine, soda, juice, but no beer. The chef made my wife gluten free meals, which we requested in advance. The captain spoke English, Portuguese and French. He was an experience sailor, had a great personality and easy going. The Exumas are extremely beautiful and the colors of its water are incredible. In a lot of places, we got 4-5 different tons of blue/turquoise/green. People doing a regular cruises in huge cruise ships, never will have the experience of sailing in a very shallow waters that only catamarans allows it. We expected to spend more time snorkeling and at the beautiful beaches than we did. In our opinion, the itinerary with several stops, did not allow much time in any location. The Exumas Park and Staniel Cay are breathtaking and worth spending the entire day in each one. Shroud Cay exploring the mangrove river was not our cup of tea. It was our first time in a sailing boat and we simply loved a catamaran, a stable, comfortable and spacious boat. It was one the best vacations we had and we are planing to do another catamaran cruise maybe at BVI or Grenadines.

Cruising the Moskva River: A short guide to boat trips in Russia’s capital
There’s hardly a better way to absorb Moscow’s atmosphere than on a ship sailing up and down the Moskva River. While complicated ticketing, loud music and chilling winds might dampen the anticipated fun, this checklist will help you to enjoy the scenic views and not fall into common tourist traps.
How to find the right boat?
There are plenty of boats and selecting the right one might be challenging. The size of the boat should be your main criteria.
Plenty of small boats cruise the Moskva River, and the most vivid one is this yellow Lay’s-branded boat. Everyone who has ever visited Moscow probably has seen it.
This option might leave a passenger disembarking partially deaf as the merciless Russian pop music blasts onboard. A free spirit, however, will find partying on such a vessel to be an unforgettable and authentic experience that’s almost a metaphor for life in modern Russia: too loud, and sometimes too welcoming. Tickets start at $13 (800 rubles) per person.
Bigger boats offer smoother sailing and tend to attract foreign visitors because of their distinct Soviet aura. Indeed, many of the older vessels must have seen better days. They are still afloat, however, and getting aboard is a unique ‘cultural’ experience. Sometimes the crew might offer lunch or dinner to passengers, but this option must be purchased with the ticket. Here is one such option offering dinner for $24 (1,490 rubles).
If you want to travel in style, consider Flotilla Radisson. These large, modern vessels are quite posh, with a cozy restaurant and an attentive crew at your service. Even though the selection of wines and food is modest, these vessels are still much better than other boats.
Surprisingly, the luxurious boats are priced rather modestly, and a single ticket goes for $17-$32 (1,100-2,000 rubles); also expect a reasonable restaurant bill on top.
How to buy tickets?
Women holding photos of ships promise huge discounts to “the young and beautiful,” and give personal invitations for river tours. They sound and look nice, but there’s a small catch: their ticket prices are usually more than those purchased online.
“We bought tickets from street hawkers for 900 rubles each, only to later discover that the other passengers bought their tickets twice as cheap!” wrote (in Russian) a disappointed Rostislav on a travel company website.
Nevertheless, buying from street hawkers has one considerable advantage: they personally escort you to the vessel so that you don’t waste time looking for the boat on your own.
Prices start at $13 (800 rubles) for one ride, and for an additional $6.5 (400 rubles) you can purchase an unlimited number of tours on the same boat on any given day.
Flotilla Radisson has official ticket offices at Gorky Park and Hotel Ukraine, but they’re often sold out.
Buying online is an option that might save some cash. Websites such as this offer considerable discounts for tickets sold online. On a busy Friday night an online purchase might be the only chance to get a ticket on a Flotilla Radisson boat.
This website (in Russian) offers multiple options for short river cruises in and around the city center, including offbeat options such as ‘disco cruises’ and ‘children cruises.’ This other website sells tickets online, but doesn’t have an English version. The interface is intuitive, however.
Buying tickets online has its bad points, however. The most common is confusing which pier you should go to and missing your river tour.
“I once bought tickets online to save with the discount that the website offered,” said Igor Shvarkin from Moscow. “The pier was initially marked as ‘Park Kultury,’ but when I arrived it wasn’t easy to find my boat because there were too many there. My guests had to walk a considerable distance before I finally found the vessel that accepted my tickets purchased online,” said the man.
There are two main boarding piers in the city center: Hotel Ukraine and Park Kultury . Always take note of your particular berth when buying tickets online.
Where to sit onboard?
Even on a warm day, the headwind might be chilly for passengers on deck. Make sure you have warm clothes, or that the crew has blankets ready upon request.
The glass-encased hold makes the tour much more comfortable, but not at the expense of having an enjoyable experience.
Getting off the boat requires preparation as well. Ideally, you should be able to disembark on any pier along the way. In reality, passengers never know where the boat’s captain will make the next stop. Street hawkers often tell passengers in advance where they’ll be able to disembark. If you buy tickets online then you’ll have to research it yourself.
There’s a chance that the captain won’t make any stops at all and will take you back to where the tour began, which is the case with Flotilla Radisson. The safest option is to automatically expect that you’ll return to the pier where you started.

For superyacht shoppers, the Palm Beach International Boat Show, kicking off its four-day run this week, is set to break records with more than 60 yachts over 100 feet long on display. Last year was also a banner year for superyachts at the show.
Headliners will include the likes of the 295-foot Corsair Nero , the 278-foot Victorious by AKYacht, the 230-foot Turquoise-built Talisman C , and 213-foot Benetti Triumph among brokerage yachts, and in new yachts, the 113-foot Ocean Alexander Puro 35 is making its world debut.
There are so many gleaming white vessels over 100 feet, in fact, that the fleet will be split between the Palm Harbor Marina at the main show site on the downtown West Palm Beach waterfront and the Safe Harbor Rybovich Marina two miles north.
Now in its 42nd year, PBIBS will also showcase hundreds of models of dayboats, cruisers, and fishing boats, as well as marine accessories. Running from this Thursday through Sunday, the show coincides with the Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary art show, a fortuitous opportunity for yacht owners wanting to add new art to their collections.
Here are 10 must-see boats at this year’s show.
Corsair Yachts ‘Nero’
The undisputed star of this year’s Palm Beach show? That would be the 295-foot, classically styled superyacht Nero , built in 2007 and inspired by American financier J.P. Morgan’s legendary 1930s steamer Corsair IV . Nero ‘s attendance at PBIBS marks its return to the charter market after an extensive refit in 2021. Now better than new, the boat is being managed by Burgess. With weekly charter rates from $497,000, the vessel offers five-star accommodations for 12 guests in six cabins, with pampering from a crew of 20. Part of the refit included a full interior refresh by Italian interior designer Laura Pomponi, plus a major focus on wellness. That meant the construction of a new, state-of-the-art gym and spa, the assistance of a certified onboard trainer, a masseuse and beautician. After PBIBS, Nero will spend the winter in the Caribbean before returning to the Med for the summer season.
Ocean Alexander Puro 35P
Ocean Alexander is debuting the first of its new Puro superyacht series at PBIBS. The 113-foot Puro 35P comes from the drawing board of Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta and is a step back from the polarizing lines of OA’s recent Revolution and Explorer series with their bold, vertical bow designs. Aimed at long-distance cruising, the 35P can carry over 5,000 gallons of fuel and is powered by twin 2,000 hp MAN V12s for a 24-knot top speed. Twin 55kW Kohler generators can also keep the yacht powered at anchor for long periods. Other standout features include extensive glazing in the chiseled fiberglass hull, a forward deck plunge pool, and spacious accommodations for 10 guests.
Think of it as the “starter” Sirena. Aimed at a younger demographic, the Turkish builder’s brand-new Sirena 48 is making its U.S. debut at PBIBS after a global reveal at last fall’s Cannes boat show. Such is its appeal that 27 hulls have already been sold, with 13 of the orders coming from North America. Looking like a scaled-down version of Sirena’s popular 58, its distinctive, trawler-style lines are from Argentinian designer Germán Frers. With more interior space than a typical 48-footer, the yacht offers three staterooms—plus a crew cabin—a spacious, light-filled salon, a large cockpit, an oversized flybridge, and a vast forward social area. Take your pick from twin 550 hp Cummins QSB, or 670 hp Volvo D11 turbo diesels. Or the builder is also offering hybrid power with twin 285 hp electric motors charged up by variable-speed generators that are good for a 30-mile battery-only range.
Feadship ‘Olympus’
Picture purchasing a classic 180-foot Feadship superyacht, and then getting a $10 million bill for a major refit. That was the case with Olympus , built by the Dutch masters at Feadship in 1996 to a design by Britain’s Andrew Winch and the celebrated naval architect Frits De Voogt. Sold in 2022, the new owner sent it to the Monaco Marine refit center in La Ciotat, France for a major makeover. It included overhauling the 2,600 hp Caterpillar engines and generators, repairs to the structure, substantial upgrades to the guest areas and crew quarters, and new paint throughout. With the work completed just last year, the vessel is said to be in mint condition. Offered jointly by brokers Fraser and Edmiston, Olympus has an asking price of $28.5 million. With accommodations for 16 guests in eight cabins, the boat’s highlights include two primary suites, tropical-spec air conditioning, and Palm Beach-chic decor.
Benetti ‘Triumph’
Italian yachting powerhouse Benetti is showing off its superyacht-building skills with the 213-foot Triumph . Delivered in 2021, this Giorgio M. Cassetta-designed steel-and-aluminum world girder features six decks, a 1,400-square-foot primary suite with outdoor terrace and adjoining lounge, a 750-square-foot beach club, and a touch-and-go helipad. What sets Triumph apart, however, is its lavish interior furnishings put together by the owner along with Benetti Interior Style and Monaco-based Green & Mingarelli Design. It includes pieces by French glassmaker Lalique, marble from Marfil, Statuario and Armani, furs, silk and wool carpets, plus a collection of cool black-and-white wildlife photographs by British fine art photographer David Yarrow. The pièce de résistance? That would be the owner’s Triumph Bonneville motorcycle displayed in the salon.
Fjord 39 XP/XL
Germany’s Fjord Yachts, part of the Hanse Group, has a new 39-foot day boat that it’s unveiling at the Palm Beach show. The 39 XP and XL keep all the bold design cues of the bigger Fjord 41 XP and XL, like a big, open cockpit, walkaround center console, vertical bow, mile-high windshield and stretched hardtop. As for the differences between the XP and XL, it’s all about power. The XL comes with a choice of twin 320hp Volvo D4 diesels, or bigger 440 hp D6 versions, both with Volvo stern drives. Likely more appealing to U.S. buyers will be the XP powered by twin 400 hp Mercury Verado V10 outboards giving a 50-knot top speed. Pricing starts at around $500,000.
Turquoise ‘Talisman C’
Chandeliers don’t come more dramatic than this. Cascading down the central spiral staircase of the Turkish-built, 231-foot superyacht Talisman C , this jaw-dropping piece of art comprises an array of multi-colored glass balls threaded on stainless-steel rods and illuminated by hanging fiber-optic strands. It’s the creation of Prague-based Crystal Caviar and is one of a number of glass installations on this sleek, low-profile superyacht. Built in 2011 by the Proteksan Turquoise shipyard, Talisman C was designed inside and out by London-based studio H2 Yacht Design, with naval architecture by Italy’s Hydro Tec. With cabins for 12 guests, one of its highlights is a huge primary suite, which boasts more crystal chandeliers and a private library. Twin 2,447 hp Caterpillar diesels give a top speed of 18 knots and a transatlantic range of 7,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. It’s listed with Burgess for $59.9 million.
Sanlorenzo 44 ‘Kamakasa’
Delivered in 2020 and sold to a new buyer just last August, the 146-foot Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy Kamakasa will be for sale at PBIBS. The asking price, through the Italian Yacht Group, is $23.75 million. Lack of use might also be the issue here; the yacht’s twin 2,600 hp MTU V16 diesels have a mere 289 hours on the clock. Built in aluminum to a design by Rome-based Zuccon International Project, Kamakasa was the second hull in the Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy series. One of the top features is a primary suite that spans three levels and almost 1,600 square feet; it also comes with a private Jacuzzi, separate bathrooms, a walk-in closet, and a private study. The yacht’s lightweight construction and MTU power combine to deliver an impressive 20-knot top speed.
Bahama 41 GT2
As ultimate, reel-’em-in, fishing center consoles go, the Bahama 41 from West Palm Beach-based Bahama Boat Works is as hard-core as they come. But when owners kept asking for a little more comfort for the family, the builder responded. The result is the brand-new flagship 41 GT debuting at PBIBS. While the proven, wave-slicing hull stays the same, the cockpit layout is new. In place of the single bench seat, there are now three-across bucket seats with a second row behind. The wider console now has space for a pair of 22-inch Garmin screens, while the new extended hardtop features sun shades and even a rain shower. Outboard choices stay the same with either twin Mercury V12 600s, or four 400 hp Mercury V10s, good for a 65-knot-plus top speed. Pricing is from around $920,000.
Heesen ‘Book Ends’
Launched in 2022, this 164-foot Heesen is part of the Book Ends collection, owned by an American couple who have had more than 18 yachts with the same name. The exterior design of this Heesen was by Omega Architects, while Dutch studio Van Oossanen did the naval architecture. The yacht is part of Heesen’s fast cruising series, which is more efficient than other vessels its size, and can reach 23 knots at full speed with its MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines. The yacht is listed through Ocean Independence for 42 million Euro, or about $45.7 million.

New to the Yacht Charter Fleet
- By Yachting Staff
- March 21, 2024
Several of the world’s leading charter-management companies have welcomed new yachts into their fleets, with inquiries for bookings now being accepted.
Althaus Yachts has added the 116-foot Azimut Grande 36 Ocean One to the charter fleet in the Mediterranean. This yacht is a brand-new, 2023 build that comes with quite the sexy tender: a 60-knot Brabus Shadow 900 Sun-Top Stealth Green Signature Edition. Ocean One can accommodate 12 guests, and has guest amenities including an infinity pool.
Also new to the fleet, with Fraser, is the 132-foot Aegean yacht Donna Del Mare . This yacht is currently completing a refit, with charters expected to be available in the Adriatic Sea between early April and mid-September. Accommodations are for 12 guests along with four supernumeraries such as nannies and bodyguards. Guest amenities include two bars and a sundeck hot tub.
Fraser is also now offering the 156-foot CMB Fortuna for charter in the Mediterranean. This 2023 build has an Espen Øino exterior, interiors by Art-Bel Design, and accommodations for 10 or 11 guests in five staterooms. Guest amenities include a hot tub, barbecue, DJ console, gymnasium and waterside beach club. A 43-foot Venom chase tender is part of the charter package.
Also new to the charter fleet is the 146-foot Intermarine Artemisea , which IYC is offering in Greece. Accommodations are for 10 guests in five staterooms, including a full-beam master. This yacht underwent what IYC calls a major refit this year. Guest amenities include a sundeck hot tub, and IYC says the yacht’s fuel consumption is low.
IYC’s offerings in Greece also now include the 108-foot Lurssen Alaya , which is a classic build from 1965. Alaya was “meticulously refitted” in 2023, according to the charter company, creating the combination of a classic yacht with updated, modern comforts. The original owners modeled the yacht after World War II torpedo boats, giving the yacht a touch of history as well. Accommodations are for 10 or 11 guests in five staterooms, and the owner will consider inquiries for corporate or personal events.
But wait, there’s more: Also new to the charter fleet, with Edmiston, is the 154-foot Feadship Lady Victoria . This 2015 build, which is accepting inquiries for the Caribbean, was most recently refitted in 2022. Accommodations are for 12 guests in their choice of seven staterooms, with interior design by RWD. Exteriors on this yacht are by Dubois.
