We are based at the ABC Powermarine boatyard in the beautiful town of Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. Our proprietor has been a Yacht Broker for 18 years and has marketed and sold a wide variety of Sail and Power boats ranging from £1,000-£1,000,000.

Our in-depth knowledge of the used boat market means that we are the people to turn to for a true valuation of your boat. We would then be very happy to present a professional marketing pack for your boat both on the internet and in our office. We work on a no sale/ no fee basis and our competitive commissions don't attract VAT enabling us to easily match a competitor's quote.

From the M6

Keep on the M6 until junction 20A. Merge onto the M56 towards North Wales/Chester/Runcorn. After 20 miles keep right to continue on Bypass Rd/A494, follow signs for North Wales/Queensferry. After 7 miles continue onto N Wales Expy/A55 and stay on this for 35 miles. At junction 18, exit towards Conwy/A547/Deganwy/A546. Cross over four roundabouts to stay on the A546. At the junction with the railway line crossing, turn left and over the railway line onto Deganwy Quay.

From Liverpool Central or Liverpool Lime Street, trains are available every half hour to every hour, with two changes at Chester then Llandudno Junction. From Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria trains run regularly, with either one change over at Llandudno Junction or an extra change at Chester. From London Euston, trains run regularly to Deganwy via Crewe and/or Chester changeovers.

What are the running costs of owning a boat?

The running costs of owning a boat include:

• Insurance – Either third party or fully comprehensive.
• Maintenance services
• Diesel or petrol
• Engine Service – Usually every 250 hours or annually.
• Safety equipment (especially if your boat is longer than 13.7 metres)

One thing to keep in mind; the longer the boat, the more expensive many of the running costs will be.

Should I book a survey?

It is always advisable to get a survey done when buying your boat to determine its condition. There are three types of survey:

• Full Survey – A comprehensive check of the structure of the boat and the internal condition and working status of all the appliances on board.
• Hull Survey – An external survey only to check the condition of the hull.
• Internal Survey – Determines the internal condition and working status of the appliances on board.

What's the best way to berth my boat?

We recommend pontoon berthing over all other options, because it is the safest and the most convenient.

Pontoon berths provide easy access to your boat and prevent it from moving around as much as a buoy or swing berth, although it is the most expensive option.

The offices in wales are based in milford haven, neyland and swansea offering a spread of services throughout the south wales area.  the offices are also dealers for jeanneau yachts and quicksilver power boats as well as marine service agents.  further to this, part exchange is offered on all the boats that we have for sale within south wales and beyond, so if you have a boat to sell but see something that tickles your fancy, get in touch or complete our part exchange form., the yachts.co group started in 2008 based in swansea and at the time called itself network yacht brokers swansea in the year to come they we an office in corfu in 2012.  at this time we became dealers for the prestigious jeanneau yachts which resulted in expansion in 2017 into neyland and milford haven with our partners locally.  at this time the confusion of our name led to a decision to rebrand the company to something that would be more international, as our business was more global by the day.  eventually the prestigious url www.www.yachts.co was acquired and the rebrand began., in 2019 the most recent office of poole was acquired, with a new custom made office on the water’s edge in cobbs quay marina.  this office has already attracted new clients and boats onto its books and continues to grow every month.  run by neil tasker who is well known in the industry with many years of experience, we expect this office to go from strength to strength., with many years growth and now the largest boats sales in wales we look forward to the forthcoming years, to expanding our reach and customer service but always remembering it’s in wales where it all started., diolch yn fawr iawn.
