New to charter?

The Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) is due at the time of the final charter payment. Under MYBA terms, this sum is usually equivalent to 30 per cent of the total charter fee, but may be up to 40 per cent in some cases.

Intended to cover the operating expenses of a charter as explained under Charter Terms, such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees and ad hoc incidentals, the APA will be given to the captain before the start of your charter. The Captain will ensure that the yacht is fully fuelled and provisioned when you step on board. While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. If, during the charter, the expenditure exceeds the sum already paid, additional cash funds will be required at once.

All outstanding bills from the yacht charter should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before your final disembarkation. Of course, any remaining credit at the end of your charter will be reimbursed to you in full. On request, transfer arrangements to and from the yacht can be made by Burgess or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

• In the Balearic Islands, anchoring directly above Posidonia (type of seagrass) preservation areas are not allowed, with fines issued if you break the rules. Protected anchorage zones in the Balearics include: Cabrera, Sa Dragonera, Cala Blava, Portopetro, Punta de L’Avançada and Cala d’Or
• You may find that whilst cruising in the Balearics some bays have color-coded buoys according to boat length. This is to help protect underwater flora and they must be obeyed.
• Most shops will close each day from 2 pm till 5 pm for an afternoon siesta.
• If you are interested in experiencing Ibiza nightlife, remember that most clubs do not open till at least midnight.
• Some coves in Ibiza (such as Aguas Blancas) have areas reserved for nudists.
• Whilst exploring onshore, it is handy to have cash on you, as a considerable number of small, independent businesses in the Balearics will not accept card payment. Luckily, there are plenty of cashpoints dotted around the marinas.

We strongly advise booking well in advance of your planned Ibiza yacht charter to ensure you get the perfect vessel for your selected dates. We recommend booking at least 3 months ahead to give your broker the time to organize a sublime bespoke yacht charter and book ahead for the nights you intend to spend in marinas. This is particularly pertinent to the Balearics, where fewer West Mediterranean yachts are in the region during peak season, and a Spanish charter license will need to be obtained.

Ibiza Yacht Charter Q&A

For most Ibiza yacht charters to be secured, you will usually need to provide a completed charter agreement and 50% of the charter fee as a deposit. This is payable once the contract has been signed.

You will have a greater variety of yachts to pick from if you decide to start your charter in Ibiza or Mallorca compared to mainland destinations. Whilst Barcelona certainly has a considerable array of yachts to choose from, it is not as extensive as the islands. 

We also strongly recommend that you book your yacht charter in Ibiza at least three months in advance to ensure you get the yacht you desire. The longer you leave it, you'll find you'll have less choice available.

There is a yacht to suit almost every budget in Ibiza so rest assured that you will find a vessel suitable to your requirements.

But when booking do keep in mind the costs that aren't included in the base rate, namely VAT and the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance). The APA is usually paid in advance of the charter and is commonly set at 30% of the charter fee. This allowance covers expenses such as fuel, berthing, food and drinks, as well as any special requests. 

Please consult your yacht charter broker for any other costs you may need to factor in.

May through till October is the best time to visit the sun-drenched shores of Ibiza. Temperatures can rise to a heady 31 degrees in July and August, with its waters reaching 26 degrees respectively.

Yachts will need to obtain a Spanish charter licence in order to cruise Ibizan waters, this is applicable if you are beginning or ending your charter in Spain.

Auf Ibiza ein Boot mieten ist ganz einfach. Deine Yacht oder das Boot für den Charter kannst du bequem online buchen. Während dem Buchungsprozess legst Du Termin und Ablegeort fest. Anschließend kontaktieren wir Dich, um alles weitere mit Dir abzusprechen.

Welche Dokumente muss ich vor Ort mitbringen?

Für Deinen Yachtcharter musst Du einen amtlichen Reisepass oder einen Lichtbildausweis und eine Kreditkarte mitbringen, auf welcher die Kaution hinterlegt wird.

Wichtig: DEBIT-Karten werden nicht akzeptiert.

Was passiert bei schlechtem Wetter?

Während der Sommermonate kommt es selten vor, dass das Wetter auf Ibiza schlecht ist. Sollte Dies doch der Fall sein, buchen wir Deinen Charter selbstverständlich um. Sollte eine Umbuchung nicht möglich sein, erhältst Du eine Rückerstattung der Anzahlung.

Sind Kinder auf den Booten erlaubt?

Bei unseren Yacht Chartern sind alle willkommen, egal ob groß oder klein. Ein Boot auf Ibiza für die ganze Familie zu mieten ist daher kein Problem. Unsere Boote sind kinderfreundlich und die schwimmenden Nautiboy-Plattformen bieten genug Platz, um sich auszutoben.

Außerdem stellt unser Team sicher, dass passende Rettungswesten an Board sind. Bei Kindern unter 10 Jahren muss ein Erziehungsberechtigter dabei sein.

Sage uns bitte Bescheid, wenn Dein Kind jünger als 6 Jahre ist, damit wir eine besondere Sicherheitsausstattung an Board bereithalten können.

Was ist in der Miete des Bootes mit inbegriffen?

Im Preis Deines Charters sind Skipper/Kapitän enthalten, sowie eine Minibar mit Getränken, Handtücher, das Schnorchelequipment sowie die spanische MwSt. (VAT) von 21 %.

Der Kraftstoff für 100km ist bei folgenden Booten im Preis inbegriffen: Hailey-Su, Yara, My Choice

Was passiert bei einem Storno meines Yachtcharters? 

Damit Deine Buchung bestätigt werden kann, muss der Charter komplett bezahlt werden. Kannst Du Deinen Charter nicht antreten und musst ihn stornieren, gelten folgende Bedingungen:

Vollständige Rückerstattung:  Stornierst Du mehr als 1 Monat vor Deinem Charter, erhältst Du das komplette Geld zurück.

75% Rückerstattung : Du stornierst mehr als 20 Tage vor dem Charter. 

50% Rückerstattung : Du stornierst mehr als 14 Tage vor dem Event. 

Keine Rückerstattung: Die Stornierung erfolgt weniger als 14 Tage vorher.

Wenn das Wetter am Tag Deines Yachtcharters schlecht ist, erhältst Du den kompletten Betrag der Anzahlung zurück. Das ist der Fall bei Windböen von mehr als 25 Knoten (46km/h) oder wenn es bei Beginn Deines Charters regnet.

Die erneute Buchung einer Yacht über die Hauptagentur berechtigt unsere Kund:innen nicht, eine Rückerstattung zu erhalten, wenn ein Charter storniert wurde. Hier gelten die allgemeinen Stornobedingungen.

Wie lange kann ich die Yacht oder das Boot mieten und wann geht es los?

Ein regulärer Chartertag bei Haller Experiences ist 8 Stunden lang. Deinen Charter kannst Du variable zwischen 10:00 Uhr (frühster Start) und 22:00 Uhr (späteste Rückkehr im Hafen) festlegen. Die genauen Zeiten variieren jedoch im Frühjahr und Herbst. Falls die 8 Stunden zu schnell vergangen sind, kannst Du in Absprache mit dem Personal und gegen eine Gebühr noch länger Zeit an Board verbringen. 

Was ist bei meinem Charter an Essen und Getränken dabei? 

Jedes Charterboot hat eine Mini-Bar mit Soft Drinks und Bier und einer Flasche Wein an Board. Auf Wunsch kannst Du gerne weitere Getränke oder unsere leckeren Food Boxen dazu bestellen.

Wie läuft die Bezahlung ab? 

Um Deinen Charter zu bestätigen, musst Du den kompletten Betrag bezahlen. Dafür kannst Du PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay oder Deine Kreditkarte nutzen. Auf Wunsch kannst Du den Betrag per Banküberweisung bezahlen - sprich dies aber bitte vorher mit einem Sales Manager ab, damit die Reservierung, bis die Bezahlung bei uns eingegangen ist, verlängert wird. Das Trinkgeld für unsere Skipper ist vorzugsweise in Bar am Ende des Charters fällig.

While I received notice that AA 478 was delayed, the flight departed PHX and arrived PHL more than two hours late. The first class cabin service was mediocre; there were no pre-departure beverages offered; there were no warm mixed nuts served with cocktails; there was no personal greeting to me as an Executive Platinum member by the first class flight attendant. While the flight operated safely, its arrival at 0219 in the morning in PHL ended a very long day. I do not feel that American provided first class service.

Don't often sit in 1st class. Our experience was great.

No meal on a cross country flight? SFO-MiA is pretty much the definition of a coast to coast flight. No meal provided. Sky high wi-fi rates too. Stop nickel and diming your customers.

Got a much appreciated surprise upgrade to an exit row and the crew was very friendly and helpful.

I was in flights from sap paulo <-> Madrid, the last one 11/15/21, That takes around 10:30 hour. Can you imagine that is served only a POOR meal after one hour of flight and nothing more??? We don’t have any service (besides in the morning a payed kart) or crew working in anything more than masks control. You need to pay for water / coffee is reasonable ? Even if you consider as low cost flights that you payed around U$ 700, courtesy and education should be showed by crew, things that Air Europe should learn to their employees on the airplane, a very rude people!!! It was not with me, but a complain for a lot people around. I have never been treated Like this before. Air Europa your journey will be short walking in this road. I, a constant traveler, will never more flight with you. I don’t need this kind of services!

An average flight experience. For our transatlantic portion, they provided a main meal and two snacks. However, the food was not very tasty and the drinks far too small and infrequent for such a long flight. The regrettable part of the flight was that the toilets were extremely filthy. I feel this is unacceptable.

Both flights were delayed. I lost my connection on the way back. No voucher or anything was givenx I had business ticket and no support to make it on time. I got to the door running 5 min after they close. Food really bad. Breakfast in business was worst that I what I remember in economy. Even though I have accumulated many miles, I don’t think Inwill keep buying Iberia. I am a frequent business traveler.

Boarding was very poor as the flight was initially delayed. We were told the flight would be at 21:40. We were with our 10 month baby who was sleeping. I received an email from Kayak which said the flight was now due to take off at 21:04. When we checked the screens at Gatwick we were told the gate was closed. The lack of communication was extremely poor and we had to run with our baby and there were many other passengers, including elderly people, also running to the gate. When we got to the gate, the staff had no reasons for the poor communication.

I liked the regular updates and appreciated the automatic online checkin which didn’t work for our Vueling flight so I had to do this myself.

The baggage policy is pathetic. We paid for our carry-on bags online. Said if we don't remove the wheels of our carry-ons it's not considered a carry-on. We all measured our bags according to the website beforehand. We were not refunded for our bags and were obligated to buy it as checked in bags for over $70 online or $90 over the counter. First and last time I travel with this airline.

Because the scale includes two terminals, we almost lost our flights. That data was not referrenced to us. The check-in process was a pain too.

They canceled my flight , they put me on a different flight that was delayed and the connection was lost . They lost my luggage. And now I’m stuck with any of my belongings.

British Airways canceled our plane and gave us a new flight scheduled to leave in only three hours, so we had to drop everything and rush to the airport. The new itinerary only left us a one hour layover in Madrid, which was too short because the plane landed late and so we missed our connecting flight. We were then booked onto a flight scheduled to take off 8 hours later, and were not given any compensation or remedial measures.

Seat layout, flight/club attendant service, food variety and quality could have been better. Business class Standard is visibly low compared with 6 other airlines that we have traveled for the past two years.

Despite many attempts to work out a change, neither British Airways nor Kayak nor Chatdeal would allow us to cancel or change this flight so we lost all of the payments when we were not able to fly. Absolutely terrible customer service. We will never use either of the services again.

It said that there was wifi. During the flight there was no wifi and while waiting at the gate the phone services already got cut off so I wasn’t able to say I am taxiing from the gate to my husband. This left me with an uncomfortable feeling. So I was waiting on the WiFi connection during flight and that never happened.

In the world of superyachts , privacy is the most valuable asset. It can be next to impossible to discern the details of a superyacht transaction — and that's particularly true if the vessel in question is worth nine figures.

Yet some in the boat blogging world are speculating that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is the new owner of Launchpad, a megayacht currently moored in Fort Lauderdale, Florida after she made her maiden voyage from Gibraltar to St Maarten last week. Launchpad clocks in at 118 meters long, about nine meters shorter than Jeff Bezos' superyacht Koru .

The transaction could not be confirmed, with yacht world insiders declining to share what they know and representatives for Zuckerberg not responding to a request for comment from Business Insider. In the past, reports about Zuckerberg owning superyacht Ulysses have proven false.

"It is Feadship's standard policy to never divulge any information about our yachts with reference to ownership, costs, or delivery, etc," Feadship, the ship's builder, wrote to BI. "Whether it is an 18-meter Feadship from the 1960s or a 118-meter Feadship from the 21st century, we do not share private information."

But Zuckerberg's name has been connected to Launchpad for a few months now, beginning in December when reports swirled that he visited Feadship's shipyard in the Netherlands.

Then, earlier in March, yachting bloggers like eSysman SuperYachts and Autoevolution started speculating that he officially snagged the boat, originally built for a sanctioned Russian businessman, at a $300 million price tag. (While that's a seemingly huge amount, it's still less than 0.2% of Zuckerberg's $177 billion net worth.)

Another clue that might point to US ownership is that the yacht bears the flag of the Marshall Islands, a US territory and commonplace for American buyers to register their ships, according to public marine tracking.

If Zuckerberg were to have bought Launchpad, he would join a cohort of superyacht-owning tech billionaires . Along with Bezos, the likes of Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison and Google cofounders Sergey Brin and Larry Page have purchased impressive boats with even more impressive amenities.

SuperYacht Times , an industry publication and intelligence platform, has some of the best images of the yacht. Photos show a swimming pool on her main deck and a large helipad.

While less is known of the interior, a vessel of her size can likely sleep dozens of guests and crew and may have amenities like an expansive gym where Zuckerberg could practice his jiu-jitsu or a spa with a massage area. We suspect there's also space for plenty of toys — which could include his viral hydrofoil foil .
