A futuristic water Jet Capsule embodies the idea of having a boat small enough to be easily maneuvered, yet spacious enough to take a handful of friends over to a port for an evening’s entertainment. The 2016 Jet Capsule offers the unlimited customizable possibilities to be the perfect water vehicle for many different purposes. This watercraft features rear doors, photochromic windows, rooftop that transforms into a sundeck, toilette room, rear/sub-cameras, private jet layout with air conditioning and heater.

Customization is everything. The Jet Capsule not only justifies it but also defines it. The owner of $100,000 watercraft can choose to equip it with either single or dual engines, as well as auxiliary electric motor that can be in protected areas like lakes or natural reserves.

Total power outputs range from 370 hp (276 kW) up to 600 hp (447 kW) and, from those options, the maximum achievable speed is 38 knots (44 mph or 71 km/h). With a maximum load of 12 passengers and one pilot, the cruising speed is 32 knots (37 mph or 51 km/h).

The pod-like Jet Capsule has a full carbon body and photochromic windows. There’s a rooftop sundeck for passengers to relax on, while inside there are driver controls with views of rear and underwater cameras, air conditioning, a heater, seating, tables and a toilet. The mini-yacht defines its name being only 7.6 m (24.9 ft) long, 3.5 m (11.5 ft) wide and 2.3 m (7.5 ft) tall.

Lazzarini designs the mini yacht of the future. The jet capsule due punto zero (2.0) is luxe, fast, and just big enough.

We have covered myriad superyachts in the recent past which is why we wanted to break the pattern and bring something to the table that’s super even without being a superyacht- a super stunning mini yacht ! Lazzarini Design Studio has unveiled a luxurious mini yacht that may ditch the opulent size of a superyacht but does not skimp on amenities as the bespoke interior can be as luxe as your liking and as top-of-the-line as your pockets permit. This impressive space can be turned into comfortable seating for up to 20 people, or can also be designed to be used as a small home on the water. Called jet capsule due punto zero (2.0) it can cruise at a speed between 35 to 45 knots and once you opt for the hyper jet version, the vessel can reach over 60 knots. The vessel measure 9.5m in length and is available in full electric mode.

The body of the watercraft is made from a combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass. The super sleek jet capsule due punto zero (2.0) comes with a hi-tech LED headlight system that allows the vessel to modify the light intensity and inclination. What adds to the cool features and functions is a water surface scanner that can be very helpful in spotting and preventing debris. The due punto zero (2.0) retails from $500,000 leading up to a hefty sum of $1 million for the hyper jet version, which features a full dry carbon body.

Jet Capsule: the ultra-custom pocket yacht

Surprisingly, bigger is not always better. Developed by a team of Italian designers, Jet Capsule is a mini yacht or a huge water toy . Compact, powerful, and luxurious, it is fully customizable to cater to all your desires.

The pocket boat is simple to navigate and spacious enough to accommodate a handful of friends over a drink in the middle of the sea.

It is small enough to minimize high costs for being docked in a port but large enough to carry a group of friends in comfort to an island where they can sleep aboard.

Measuring 24’6 ″ (7.5 meters) LOA and with a beam of 11’5 ″ (3.5 meters), the futuristic yacht that is compact, lightweight, and luxurious.

The powerboat hull is composed of fiberglass and features stainless steel handrails. Jet Capsule’s photochromic glass changes transparency depending on the intensity of sunlight.

The engine’s power is such that the maximum speed attainable is 35 knots, or 40mph. It is a bit slower than a Jet Ski or a See-Doo . But the comfort is way better. And the Jet Capsule is more versatile.

The Neapolitan designers have worked on this project for five long years to make the vehicle compact, lightweight, and luxurious. And the result is quite conclusive.

First presented in Monaco in 2013, the jet capsule costs  150 000 €  for its basic version and  255 000 €  for its customized version. 

Customizations vary from the color of the capsule to the engine through the interior design. Need a sundeck? A desk for remote work to work in a secured cove? They have you covered.

You can choose your among the different layouts available, including an empty shell. There is a taxi layout that fits up to nine passengers, or a living capsule, outfitted with a kitchen, bathroom, and two convertible sofas.

The company has even developed models for lifeguards, water taxi, and even an armored version for the army.

You can even propose your specific needs if none of the options meet your needs, and they’ll work on crafting your dream yacht!

This 24-Foot Mini Yacht Offers Power and Luxury in a Small Package

Even if you have the money to buy one, owning a 200+ foot superyacht can be more hassle than it's actually worth. There are some smaller watercrafts available for purchase, but none of the options are quite like this one.

Let me introduce you to the Jet Capsule , a luxurious mini yacht from Lazzarini Design out of Italy , sporting a compact yet practical design.

Jet Capsule Specs

Let's look at what they're selling here. The length of this yacht from end to end only measures out to 24 feet. However, it's what they've managed to do with that space that makes this thing so impressive. A personal watercraft should be personal, and they offer tons of customizable interior layouts. It even comes with air conditioning. The hull is made from carbon fiber, and it's equipped with some pretty cool photochromic windows that change according to light exposure.

It boasts powerful water jet propulsion through your choice of single or dual Yanmar diesel engines, giving you either 370 to 740 horsepower. This gives the yacht a top speed of right around 35 knots, or 40 MPH. It may not entirely match the maximum speed of a jet ski, but it makes up for it with the luxuries onboard. No matter if you want a sundeck, a kitchen, more seats for your group of friends, or hell, even if you plan to use it as a water taxi, it can be built any way you want it.

It may be cheaper than a superyacht, but it does still come with a solid price tag. These models can range anywhere from $181,000 to $308,000 for a fully customized version.

Various Jet Capsule Models

Recently, they even came out with a new model, the Royal Version 001, which offers even more luxuries and upgrades. For this model, buyers will have the extra option of purchasing a Rolls Royce or Hamilton jet drive on top of their engine setup. This combination makes a maximum of 1,040 horsepower. The length increases to 26 feet, and it comes with a motorized carbon fiber rear door, upgraded leather seats and teak trim, improved AC, a bathroom, and a wet bar on the other side. To own one for yourself, you're looking at around $285,000.

There's even more models that you can choose from on the website , as well. The Italian company also offers the Super Jet, which is a much sportier version of the mini yacht, but they also have another vessel that draws attention: The Unidentified Floating Object, or UFO.

The fiberglass hull on this thing looks exactly like a spaceship, but it also looks absolutely incredible inside. People have used these things as rentable houseboats, gyms, and even floating restaurants. Divided into different sections, you have the main living area, the bedroom which gives an underwater view, a kitchen, and the bathroom area. It's pretty awesome!

Lazzarini Design is certainly making waves in the industry. Their products are extremely unique and surprisingly luxurious for such a small area to work with. Between the jet capsules and the UFO, I can't wait to see what else they come out with in the future.

This 5-meters leisure craft with a capability up to five people, while berthed can be transformed by removing the rigid carbon fiber roof letting passengers enjoy a more extremal cruising. Small in size but heavy in power, Mini Max can be deployed in four variants: 315 hp petrol, 260 hp diesel, 160 hp electric or a hybrid system capable of coupling the petrol to an auxiliary 80 hp electric power unit. According to the engine specs, the maximum speed will range between 25 to 45 knots. The Jet Capsule Reptile High-Performance Luxury Mini Yacht

Initially envisioned back in 2009, the Jet Capsule is an Italian-designed and -built mini yacht, made for those who want a different experience at sea than that provided by traditional boats. This unique vessel offers all the amenities required for a comfortable journey, without sacrificing performance at all. Recently, a new member of the series has been unveiled, called the Jet Capsule Reptile.

The new model is lighter and faster, and thus more performance-oriented that the standard version, making it perfect for those who enjoy the rush of adrenaline while at sea. It tips the scales at 1,102 pounds less than its predecessor and boasts a 570 horsepower Ilmore MV8 high performance engine, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 50 knots. Built from carbon fiber, the Reptile is 24.6 feet long and 11.5 feet wide, and provides ample space for up to 12 passengers, in addition to the captain.

The Jet Capsule Reptile is hand built in Naples, Italy, and takes 9 months to be ready after ordering. It comes with a price tag of $280,000.

Jet Capsule’s Mini Jet Spider is a Transformer Yacht Tender

Jet Capsule’s Mini Jet Spider is a prototype from an Italian company that has launched larger models with similar hull forms. Shaped like a NASA Apollo rocket capsule, the three-person Mini Jet Spider is the first in the company’s line to have a detachable carbon-fiber hardtop.

The purpose-built pilot seat has a shock-suspension system and body belts; the two rear seats face forward, or can fold down or flip back to face the swim platform. The forward and rear windows of the Mini Jet Spider’s console can open for fresh air.

Power options include a 315 hp gasoline power plant, a 260 hp diesel engine or a 160 hp electric motor, all mated to Hamilton water jets, with respective top speeds of 45, 35 and 25 knots. There is also a hybrid gas/electric option that connects to an 80 hp power unit.

Jet Capsule says it will produce the Mini Jet Spider after it receives 10 orders for the $169,000 craft. And in the meantime, it’s promoting additional variations including a party capsule that users can pilot while riding a Flyboard, and an armored capsule with bulletproof shields.

Open or Closed

Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini wanted the Mini Jet Spider to be fun and flexible, so he created a carbon-fiber hardtop that can be removed, turning the vessel into an open craft.

The Jet Ski-style captain’s seat is designed to handle the 45-knot speed that the capsule achieves with a 315 hp gasoline engine.

With the hardtop on and windows sealed, the Mini Jet Spider can run through chop and inclement weather.

The last configuration is the Private Jet Capsule, which has four luxurious passenger seats and two end tables for lounging with friends, colleagues, or acquaintances.

All of them utilize the shape of the Jet Capsule to the fullest and give a sense of luxurious yachting with a much smaller footprint than many modern competitors.  As impressive as the interior configurations are, what really struck us was the Jet Capsule’s materials and design. The boat is made of 70 percent carbon by way of vacuum-infusion molding. It has photochromic windows all around. These windows change their transparency in response to light intensity.

Advanced Design and Technology

Powering the yacht is a hydro-propulsion system. There’s a choice between a single or dual engine systems. Power ranges from 370 hp to 740 hp, depending on the type of system chosen. That kind of power is good enough to launch the Jet Capsule to a top speed of 35 knots (40 mph), which is more than enough for a boat measuring only 24 ft in length. Cruising speed with a full load of 12 people excluding the driver is about 23 knots (26 mph).

This Lazzarini Luxury Mini Yacht is Capable of Cruising at 50 Knots!

Italian design studio Lazzarini recently presented Jet Capsule Reptile – a compact luxury yacht that provides comfort without sacrificing speed and maneuverability on the water.

Jet Capsule Reptile is a smaller, lighter, faster and more compact version of the Jet Capsule mini yacht that was launched earlier. The vessel is designed to handle waves of up to 1.5 meters (4.9 ft).

Lighter than its previous version by 1,102 lb (500 kg), this futuristic-looking water vehicle is capable of hitting top speeds of 50 knots, or well over 57 miles/hour. The Jet Capsule Reptile has a powerful engine, the Gillmor MV8, which generates a peak power of 570 HP at 6000 RPM.

This compact vessel is 7.5 meters long and 3.5 meters wide. Sheathed in a carbon fiber shell, this craft can seat eight to 12 passengers, along with a captain. All the seats are equipped with anti-shock suspense system. It also features a protected deck with a seating area, rear diving platform, and a toilet.

Each reptile is hand made in Italy and takes nine months to deliver. The price of the reptile is over $280,000 with an international warranty.

Built by a team of Italian entrepreneurs, dreamers, designs, engineers and boat builders looking to develop a completely new boating concept, the Jet Capsule is a futuristic mini-yacht. With enough space for up to 9 people depending on how you customize it, this 24ft luxury vehicle is perfectly suited for days on the lake, long explorations or as a tender for an even larger boat. The capsule shaped exterior and paint options are sure to turn heads on the water. Inside, the seating configurations available are everything from incredibly utilitarian (bench seats along the side) to absurdly luxe (captains chairs with table). Should you plan on using the Jet Capsule as your own private yacht, you can even get it in a comfort model with sofas that transform into a bed, a private bathroom and a kitchen.

Italian-based water mobility company Jet Capsule releases its latest water jet model, titled ‘Gran turismo – Foil’ (GT-F). Designed by  Pierpaolo Lazzarini of Lazzarini Design Studio, the watercraft features a cutting-edge hydro propulsion system and capsule shaped shell with photochromic windows that are made of 70% carbon using vacuum-infusion molding.

The flying spaceship measures at 10 meters (32.8 ft) and can be equipped with twin hydrostatic transmissions, capable of a power from 880hp to 1200hp, diesel, petrol or in a full electric configuration. Moreover, with a cruising speed of 35 Knots, the new GT-F can reach an estimated top speed of 60 Knots.

Pierpaolo Lazzarini’s latest ‘flying spaceship’

Pierpaolo Lazzarini founded Lazzarini Design Studio in 2012, when it presented its first concept of innovative water transportation approaches. Since then, the Italian company has studied hydrodynamic solutions that are constantly improved with each model. The recently-unveiled Jet Capsule GT-F can now be built on request, with a timeline of one year for the construction.

The body of the watercraft is made from a combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass. Meanwhile, it c omes with a customizable interior, where clients can configure the boat from 10 passengers for leisure use to 20 passengers for commercial use. Specifications of the ‘Gran turismo – Foil’ include an overall length of 9.99 m (32.78 ft); maximum width of 3.44 m (11.28 ft); total surface of 22 sqm; and standard fuel capacity of 550 liters.
