VISA, Mastercard, EFTPOS, PayWave and Cash accepted. BEST TO BOOK AHEAD, as our opening hours are entirely dictated by dominant weather patterns and weekends/holidays vs. work/school days. During most of the 9-month-season from September to May, we are open (or On-call) Weekends and School Holidays from 7am to 4pm/5pm (hours vary seasonally and with dominant weather patterns), all hires are weather permitting. Often times after 12 noon, if we do not have bookings, we close for the day, so be sure to call ahead when planning to come visit. Weekdays/School Days be sure to book even further ahead the day before or before leaving home to avoid disappointment, often times if we have no bookings at all we will take the day off.  Normally closed most of June, July and August (sometimes open early June and late August and during Queensland winter school holidays, check Facebook page for updates). Also, usually closed for a few weeks during cyclone and heavy rain season in Feb or March depending upon cyclonic/low pressure system patterns.

The instructors at Golden Beach Hire have helped many beginners get out on the water kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, windsurfing and the new sport of wingsurfing in a very efficient, effective and fun manner, which will allow you to enjoy all the passage has to offer in very little time.

The Sunshine Coast is renowned for its crystal-clear waterways and superb weather, making it suitable for sailing our Hobie Wave Catamarans or venturing out in one of our kayaks or paddleboards to enjoy the scenery for any amount of time from one-hour to a full-day. Carl gave us a helpful and quick instructional session and we were underway after that. Even though the forecast was overcast with a little drizzle, this made for the perfect experience. The water was calm and glassy (easy conditions to work out where our balance was on the boards) and there were no shadows to worry about when taking photos when we stopped on the sand bar. She has deluxe seating for 10 people, 2 Eskies (a huge one for the drinks and smaller one for the food), a gas marine BBQ and plenty of space to move around.  With the full canopy and café drop blinds and a “step-up” for ease of getting on and off your boat, so you are sorted.

Be sure to order your Seafood Platter (an add-on with your boat booking) and take the decision out of “what to eat”, just bring your drinks and ice, and a few snags to throw on the Bbq.  It is that easy!

The Tracker BBQ Boat – 7 Seater is a fantastic vessel with a half canopy/roof, esky, step-up for ease of boarding , rod holders and comfy cushioned seating and all your Safety Equipment.

This is a fantastic ride for the family with young children, they can safely tuck into the front of the boat.  Fishing rods for hire. All fuel and safety equipment included.   PS – if you have hip or knee problems, this boat is not so easy to get in and out of – best to book a Pontoon Boat.
