Bering 145 is the first fully customized superyacht in the Bering fleet. Designed by an in-house team of naval architects and engineers, she has a full displacement steel hull of 514 metric tons. As a result of the vessel’s specialized stabilization systems, the B145 provides a supremely comfortable ride with minimal rolling and ultimate stability.

The B145 superyacht features a hybrid propulsion system. The propeller is driven by electric motors charged by a bank of batteries. The banks are recharged by high-efficiency, variable-speed DC generators, making docking and mooring easy in the electric mode. The Bering 145 also boasts an enormous fuel capacity of 70,000 liters (18,492 gallons). Equipped with twin CAT C-32 1200 BHP @ 1800-2100 RPM engines, she has a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles in diesel mode at a minimum cruising speed of 12 knots. Bering 145 is the first fully customized superyacht in the Bering fleet. Designed by an in-house team of naval architects and engineers, it has a full displacement steel hull of 514 metric tons.

The superyacht features a hybrid propulsion system. The propeller is driven by electric motors charged by a bank of batteries. The banks are recharged by high-efficiency, variable speed DC generators. Docking and mooring is possible in the electric mode. Bering 145 can take on the most extreme cruising itinerary. The superyacht has an enormous fuel capacity: 70.000 L (18.492 gal.). It can travel more than 4,000 nautical miles in diesel mode at a minimum cruising speed of 12 knots. The maximum speed of the vessel is 15 knots.

Bering 145 features a highly functional layout on a 9.15-meter beam. The master stateroom is located on the main deck toward the bow, with glass windows measuring more than 9.5 square meters. Additionally, there are five guest rooms. A huge saloon with a dining area for 12 persons and a lounge area are located on the main deck. Another dining table is on the upper deck, in the sky lounge. The yacht has 4 crew staterooms and the captain quarter. Total crew capacity is 9.

The lower deck includes 32 square meters of storage space for equipment such as water toys and spare parts. Also, the superyacht is equipped with several tenders that can be placed on the upper deck. Bering 145 also includes a spacious beach club at the stern. Just imagine a space of 40 square meters for relaxing and entertaining!

Founder Paolo Vitelli started the company in Turin in 1969 as a sailboat charter company named Azimut . In 1977, the company produced what at the time was the smallest yacht, the AZ 32-foot Targa, considered to be the Model T of the marine industry. The 200-foot (60.95-meter) 2012 Mega Yacht DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER  showcases an interior stemming from the collaboration between owner John Staluppi and London-based designer Evan K. Marshall. Six staterooms—including two masters—sleep 12 guests, plus the yacht houses 15 crew. An elevator services all five decks. Two Caterpillar engines propel the full-displacement steel-and-aluminum yacht to a 16-knot top speed and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Traveling at 12 knots gives Benetti Yacht DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER a range of 4,800 nautical miles. A flotilla of tenders and toys complete the package.

On May 26th in Viareggio, Italy the shipyard launched their longest GRP hull and aluminum superstructure yacht ever. M/Y BLAKE is a 50-meter fully custom mega yacht. The Benetti Custom FB803 Project Blake is the third hull of this series featuring Benetti exteriors and Bannenberg & Rowel interiors.  Sisterships for the 50m yacht BLAKE are the FB801 VICA and FB802 ZAZOU.
