Accommodation

• CALLISTO has a warm neutral atmosphere with a personalised yet easily recognisable Terence Disdale interior; a blend of fine oak panelling, polished marble, the finest fabrics, with custom carpeting throughout.

Main Deck The master suite is entered via its own lobby forward of the guest foyer, centrally located with guest stairs and lift to lower and bridge decks. Double doors from the lobby lead to the study and day room with a two-seat office desk, large sofa/daybed, and flat screen TV. There is a king size bed mid-ships forward-facing pop up plasma screen. There is a seating area to starboard and a ladies dressing table/vanity to port. His and her bathrooms are outboard starboard and port with an adjoining central dressing room. The entire master suite is full of light thanks to large full width three quarter height windows. Moving aft is the main foyer with marble floor and wrought iron and bronze staircase to all guest decks and bronze lined guest lift. There is access from this area directly to the pantry and a guest powder room. Moving aft the main salon offers ample seating for more than the full complement of guests and the dining area forward is comfortable for up to 14. The main deck salon and dining room area open onto a large aft deck. The aft deck has built-in seating area for cocktails or snacks. There is direct access from the aft deck via an internal staircase on the port side to the fold down aft swimming platform. This is a particularly pleasant and convenient area, which is partly covered and with seating for guest comfort whilst awaiting tenders etc. This area also offers access to the toy store that has its own platform to port. Lower Deck Below aft are the five guest cabins, with ensuite bathrooms with shower, bidets and toilets, two with baths. Bathroom floors are heated. Each bathroom has a different colour marble (e.g. one in sage green, another pink) and these are accented by mosaic inlay on the floors. The cabins have plenty of closet space and chests of drawers as well as vanities. There is a crew service stairway from the main deck pantry to the guest cabins on the lower deck and a crew service door from the main deck pantry to the main deck guest lobby, thus allowing crew to service all guest areas discretely/without disturbing guests Bridge Deck Forward of the wheelhouse is an open-air guest seating area offering clear views forward over the cabin top and bow. The vast wheelhouse was designed to accommodate guests (without interfering with the crew) in two large seating areas port and starboard. Moving aft, there is the ship’s office to starboard and guests’ fully equipped gymnasium with large full height windows offering tremendous views. Moving further aft is the guests’ lobby to starboard with an internal staircase that runs from the sundeck right the way down to the guests’ cabins on the lower deck. There is also a guest lift that runs from the bridge deck to the main deck and lower deck guest cabins. A guest powder room is found in the lobby between the gymnasium and the bridge deck salon. The bridge deck salon, aft on this deck has a tremendous amount of space and light thanks to three quarter height windows both sides and aft doors that open virtually the entire width of the salon to the bridge deck aft. This salon offers a large sofa with armchairs and low table with its own flat screen TV incorporated in the front of the bar. The full wet bar is accessed discretely by crew via the pantry on the portside and has been designed to be user friendly for guests. There is an occasional dining table for up to eight guests on the centreline, ideal for buffet and service when dining outside. There is also a second plasma TV at the aft end of this salon. The bridge deck aft offers large built-in corner seating areas both port and starboard right aft, with high/low tables for cocktail use or for small group dining. These meet each other at an enlarged central lounging area. This deck also offers a sheltered dining table for up to twelve guests, and a (Terence Disdale) BBQ/buffet. External stairways lead both to the sundeck and main deck aft. There is an easily removable all-weather awning over this area. Sundeck There is a fixed sunbathing area with sunpads adjacent to the Jacuzzi, with shelter from the wind thanks to the reverse sheer windscreen. Moving aft, there are sliding doors, which separate the beach area from the bar and TV area under the full width T-top mast configuration. The crew have direct access internally to the sundeck via the bar service stairway to port, which runs through all decks. Guests can access the sundeck via their own private internal staircase to starboard from the bridge deck lobby or via an external stairway from the bridge deck aft. At the aft end of this covered area, there are two circular built-in dining areas for a total of twelve guests; moving further aft under a large awning there is a more casual area with large sofas, armchairs and a large coffee table. The aft sundeck area comprises of a large fixed sunbathing area shaded by umbrellas if desired. There are Summit chairs around the banquet seating and four sun loungers with foot stools between aft sunbed and wicker furniture.

This superyacht is a vessel of understated sophistication, with subtle design elements which create the ideal life on the water.  The Terence Disdale interior is a subtle statement of style and comfort, while her exterior spaces offer al-fresco dining - enhanced by a MIchelen star chef on board - and the upper decks providing a more informal experience.

Her giant sundeck features Jacuzzi, boundless furniture to relax with friends or sunbathe, while her garage offers toys and tenders to get up close and personal with the water. Callisto can also accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, three double cabins and two twins with en-suite facilities.

The award winning 42.5m/139'5" motor yacht 'Callisto' was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Aalsmeer shipyard. Her interior is styled by Dutch designer design house Sinot Yacht Design and she was delivered to her owner in June 2022. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of De Voogt.

Guest Accommodation

Callisto has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising two VIP cabins. The supremely spacious full beam master suite features extensive storage space provided by the dressing room. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Callisto is built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 16-cylinder 2,636hp engines running at 2450rpm, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 21 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 40,800 litre fuel tanks at 11 knots. Her water tanks store around 10,420 Litres of fresh water.

Broker Remarks

The Callisto 385  was designed by Bill Dixon and built to the highest standards. She is a very capable long-distance cruiser both safe and sturdy as well as providing a very comfortable living space for the longest of cruises. She has been well looked after and updated by her current owners. Her standing rigging was replaced in 2018, her engine has been bench reconditioned and regularly serviced. The teak decks are of the highest quality and were refurbished in 2016. The Callisto 385 is a genuine go-anywhere cruising yacht and she is ready for her next adventure. Owners comments We bought Harbinger from the original owners in 2001, and after sailing around the Solent and along the South Coast as far as The Scilly Isles and across the Channel to France / Brittany for a few years, we set off for the Mediterranean in 2005. Having reached the Algarve, in Portugal, and over-wintered there, we made our way down to Gibraltar and into the Mediterranean, where we went as far south as Sicily and Malta, before heading east to Greece and then as far as Antalya, in Turkey. We came home via the Adriatic, spending 10 days in Albania before reaching Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy - a highlight being sailing into Venice. Harbinger was then transported overland from Slovenia to Belgium, from where we sailed her home in 2015.  In 2018 we sailed to Holland and explored some of the inland waterways. We have had some great adventures, but are now 20 years older than when we first bought her, and it is time we let someone else have the pleasure of owning and sailing her.

Accommodation

This Callisto 385 sleeps 6 in comfort. The forward cabin has twin berths with two hanging lockers. The forward heads is large with a shower.The aft cabin has a double berth, dressing table and bench seat. The ensuite heads has a sink and full-sized shower. There are two single settee berths in the saloon. The interior joinery is of English ash and American cherry which gives a warm quality feel to her living space,it is all in very good condition. There is ample storage space for long-term living aboard. The large well laid-out galley has a twin stainless steel sink , oven,grill with two burners, refrigerator with ice box and a large dry storage locker. Her upholstery is new from 2021 and is in as new condition.

Swan sailing yacht Callisto for sale with Lilley Marine and Ocean Independence

The 24.4 metre sailing yacht Callisto is now listed for sale by Patrick Lilley at Lilley Marine and Tim Quinlan at Ocean Independence .

Built in GRP by Finnish yard Nautor’s Swan to a design by German Frers , she was delivered in 1995 and has never been raced, instead being used for leisurely cruising in Greek waters. An interior in hand-rubbed satin-finished teak accommodates six guests in three cabins consisting of a master suite and two guest twin cabins, all with entertainment centres and en-suite shower facilities. In addition, there are quarters for four crew aboard this yacht for sale .

In the saloon is a settee and armchairs grouped around a fixed coffee table to port while to starboard is an entertainment centre featuring a 40-inch LG flatscreen television and a home cinema system. There is also a dining area with seating for six guests.

On deck, the twin cockpit layout allows for undisturbed sunbathing and relaxation amidships on her broad decks while the task of sailing is handled aft. An awning provides shade and a broad automated swim platform makes for easy access to the water.

She has a three-spreader mast and a main boom with a Reckmann hydraulic furling head stay and a full wardrobe of North Sails Taffeta Spectra Carbon sails. Under power, a 225hp Perkins diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of eight knots.

A popular charter yacht, Callisto is currently lying in Athens, Greece, asking €1,050,000.
