Superyacht For Sale: 157-foot Trinity Yachts Tri-Deck

For owners interested in moving up to a superyacht for bluewater cruising or to own a charter-capable vessel to offset expenses, HMY Yachts has Miss Christine , a 2006 Trinity Yachts 157-foot Tri-Deck, listed for almost $19 million. 

“ Miss Christine, a 2006 Trinity 157 Tri-Deck, is a remarkable example of luxury and craftsmanship in the world of motor yachts,” HMY Yachts says . “Her history of careful maintenance and limited charter use under top-tier American ownership has preserved her in pristine condition.”

High-end furnishings and custom mahogany joinery throughout the salon provide guests a lavish area to relax and conversate on the main deck. Aft, upholstered sofas are to port and starboard with a forward-facing loveseat on the centerline. Overhead, in both the lounge area aft and the dining area amidships, custom oval soffits with mahogany and gold leaf inlay offer a custom look to the interior lighting. Custom marble-topped cabinetry to port and starboard reinforce the luxury finish of the interior. 

The main deck galley can be accessed via the passageway past the forward bulkhead. With custom granite surfaces throughout and Amtico wood flooring, the galley has the space and amenities for multiple chefs to prep and plate without bumping elbows. Appliances include: 

• Wolfe 5-burner induction stove, oven and steamer 
• Vulcan ESB36-2 salamander and hood w/fire suppression system
• Wolfe convection oven and Miele convection oven
• Panasonic microwave

Miss Christine has sleeping accommodations for up to 10 people which include a main-deck master suite and four staterooms belowdecks, all en suite. The on deck master is forward of the main-deck galley and features a king berth, a desk and a 56-inch flat-screen TV. The VIP stateroom has a king berth and a 26-inch flat-screen TV. Two of the remaining three guest staterooms have king berths while the final guest stateroom has twin berths. 

Exterior entertainment spaces can be found on all three decks, however, the sun deck takes the cake. Forward, a six-person Jacuzzi sits on the centerline with a sun pad flanking it. Additional loose chaise lounge chairs line the open deck amidships. The after section of the sun deck is used for tender stowage while underway. Down a level the bridgedeck aft has a 72-inch teak round table with 10 wicker chairs and additional lounge furniture aft. 

Forward and through the double glass, stainless steel auto sliding doors the bridge deck skylounge essentially gives guests a second salon to retire to. The space is furnished with an L-shaped upholstered sofa to starboard, an upholstered coffee table, two wooden end tables with drawers, a full bar forward to port with a marble top and a rectangular game table with four chairs. 

Twin 2,250 hp Caterpillar 3512 diesels give this superyacht a 19-knot top speed. It’s worth noting that Miss Christine completed its 15-year ABS survey in October 2021, followed by its annual inspections. She also underwent bottom and running gear servicing in June 2024. HMY Yachts says the 157-foot superyacht is “Mechanically in A-1 condition.”

Commercial broker George Pino now faces felony homicide charge in deadly Biscayne Bay boat crash

Prosecutors bring heightened charge after a key witness came forward

Commercial real estate broker George Pino now faces a felony homicide charge in the deadly Biscayne Bay boat crash that killed a 17-year-old girl and severely injured her classmate. 

Pino, president of Doral-based State Street Realty, was steering the boat with 14 occupants, including his wife, daughter and 11 other teenage girls when the craft crashed into a concrete channel marker on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend in 2022. Prosecutors initially brought careless boating misdemeanor charges against Pino last year, and now swapped them for a felony charge after a key witness spoke out, the Miami Herald reported .

Pino , 54, now faces a vessel homicide/operate in reckless manner charge, which has a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. 

Pino and his attorney didn’t immediately return a request for comment. 

Pino’s vessel, which was going about 50 miles per hour, crashed in the Cutter Bank area, propelling all passengers in the water, and killing Luciana “Lucy” Fernandez, a 17-year-old Our Lady of Lourdes Academy senior. Katerina Puig, a Lourdes soccer team captain at the time who has since graduated, suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue firefighter Matthew Smiley, a witness of the crash, came forward to prosecutors, saying Pino appeared intoxicated shortly after the crash.

Last year, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office announced they conducted a thorough investigation. But reports in the Miami Herald later poked holes in the investigation, revealing that three other witnesses had provided their phone numbers to investigators, but were never contacted.

Pino, who had told an officer at the scene “I had two beers,” also wasn’t given a sobriety test.

A civil lawsuit by the Puig family against Pino and his wife, Cecilia Pino, led to a $16 million court judgment against Cecilia Pino and a sealed settlement with Pino.   

Pino has more than 26 years of experience in real estate brokerage, property management and development, according to State Street’s website. He has closed $1.75 billion in sales and over 26 million square feet in leasing deals throughout his career. Cecilia Pino also is an executive at State Street.

Real estate broker faces serious criminal case years after Labor Day weekend boat crash killed 17-year-old girl celebrating his daughter's birthday

M ore than two years after a Labor Day weekend boat crash killed a 17-year-old girl in Florida , the real estate developer operating the boat with 12 teen girls aboard while celebrating his daughter’s birthday now faces a homicide case that could put him in prison for a decade and a half .

George Pino, now 54, had up to now only faced misdemeanor charges for careless boating even though the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission found more than 60 empty alcohol containers on the boat after the Boca Chita Key-area crash on Sept. 4, 2022. But a firefighter who responded to the scene has since told Miami prosecutors that alcohol did play a role in the tragedy, local NBC affiliate WTVJ reported Thursday on the new vessel homicide case in the death of Luciana “Lucy” Fernandez.

On the day of the crash, Fernandez, Katerina “Katy” Puig, 10 other teen girls, and Pino’s wife had been celebrating the birthday of Pino’s daughter when the operator of the 29-foot boat moving at around 45 mph slammed into a channel marker, with fatal and otherwise life-altering consequences for the passengers sent into Biscayne Bay, WPLG reported .

Fernandez lost her life and Puig, the captain of the soccer team at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, suffered a brain injury and permanent disability, reports said.

Fernandez, also a student at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, posthumously received a diploma in 2023 and the Lucy Fernandez Foundation was established in her memory to “provide scholarship and experiential learning opportunities for students at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, her beloved school[.]”

Puig graduated the same year , appeared on a stage in a wheelchair, and inspired all in attendance.

Reports said that Puig’s family later sued the Pinos claiming that they provided the teens alcohol, and that suit has since ended in a $16 million settlement.

According to the Miami Herald , Pino allegedly said after the crash that he had “two beers,” and he was not tested for alcohol consumption.

Both the Fernandez and Puig families reportedly said they were “grateful” that Pino was now facing a homicide charge.
