The Aristocat is a spacious and comfortable catamaran that is versatile and customisable to suit any need. The Aristocat has plenty of lounging space: both in the open air on comfortable mats on the bow for sunbathing or sightseeing, and a large shaded cockpit and salon if that’s more your thing.

WIth a great sound system, two marine heads, snorkel gear, two swim ladders, and a large walk-around bar, this boat can do anything from sunset cruises to intimate cocktail parties to a fun day of snorkelling and sailing. Perfect for family parties, corporate events, or anything in between, the Aristocat can do it all!

• From East End:  Pick up and drop off from the East End are subject to an additional 1 hour charge each way.

Aristocat is a luxury sailing catamaran offering skippered day charters for up to 30 guests and overnight charters for 9 guests. She is the perfect yacht for entertaining guests for a casual day out or for corporate functions with a huge deck area and stylish features.

Aristocat is known for her spacious attributes with an outdoor lounge area offering comfortable seating for 14 guests. Just inside the cabin is a large dining suite seating 9 and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything you’ll need to prepare a Masterchef style meal is here. Downstairs has the comfort of 4 private cabins, each with ensuite including a hot shower.

Other modern features Aristocat boasts include: 2 fridges, BBQ, 20″LCD TV, Ipod stereo, 240 volt charging for laptops/phones and cabin fans.

Aristocat 30 is a 30 ′ 6 ″ / 9.3 m catamaran sailboat designed by Robin Musters / Ken Shaw and built by Aristocat Marine Ltd. (UK) starting in 1969.

Auxilary power, accomodations, calculations.

The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement. It may be unable to reach this speed if the boat is underpowered or heavily loaded, though it may exceed this speed given enough power. Read more.

Classic hull speed formula:

Hull Speed = 1.34 x √LWL

Max Speed/Length ratio = 8.26 ÷ Displacement/Length ratio .311 Hull Speed = Max Speed/Length ratio x √LWL

Sail Area / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the power of the sails relative to the weight of the boat. The higher the number, the higher the performance, but the harder the boat will be to handle. This ratio is a "non-dimensional" value that facilitates comparisons between boats of different types and sizes. Read more.

SA/D = SA ÷ (D ÷ 64) 2/3

• SA : Sail area in square feet, derived by adding the mainsail area to 100% of the foretriangle area (the lateral area above the deck between the mast and the forestay).
• D : Displacement in pounds.

Ballast / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

Displacement / Length Ratio

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. The lower a boat's ratio is, the less power it takes to drive the boat to its nominal hull speed or beyond. Read more.

D/L = (D ÷ 2240) ÷ (0.01 x LWL)³

• D: Displacement of the boat in pounds.
• LWL: Waterline length in feet

Comfort Ratio

This ratio assess how quickly and abruptly a boat’s hull reacts to waves in a significant seaway, these being the elements of a boat’s motion most likely to cause seasickness. Read more.

Comfort ratio = D ÷ (.65 x (.7 LWL + .3 LOA) x Beam 1.33 )

• D: Displacement of the boat in pounds
• LOA: Length overall in feet
• Beam: Width of boat at the widest point in feet

Capsize Screening Formula

This formula attempts to indicate whether a given boat might be too wide and light to readily right itself after being overturned in extreme conditions. Read more.

Reservation / Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations of shared sails  5+ days in advance receive a full refund .
• Cancellations of shared sails  3-4 days in advance may forfeit the deposit .
• Cancellations of shared sails  within 2 days  of the sail date may be charged in full .
• Cancellations of  private charters  within 7 days of the sail date may be charged in full .
• Cancellations due to ship related issues (changes in itinerary, etc.) or anything else out of your control (such as travel delays, etc.) will receive a  full refund . 
• Scattered/isolated showers are not uncommon in the BVI so we sail rain or shine, and in overcast conditions.
• Very rarely does the BVI experience full-on rainy days that would require you, or us, to cancel your booking.  If this occurs, we will do our best to rebook you on another day. If no other days are available, you will receive a full refund .
• If the conditions are deemed unsafe for any other reason and the sail is cancelled, you will receive a full refund .
• No Shows WILL be charged in full .
• Shared Sails : Gratuity is at your discretion, however please note that 15% is customary. If gratuity appears to have been forgotten, a 15% auto-gratuity will be added to your booking.
• Private Charters : A 15% auto-gratuity will be added to private charters.

Thank you so much to the Bali Hai Team! We had the most amazing experience and a memorable day sailing from Bali to Crystal Bay. We arrived to a massive sign with our company logo welcomeing us on board, it was such a nice suprise. We had the whole boat to ourselves and a waiter always ready to serve a drink. There were many staff onboard to assist and everything was looked after. As we went across the open sea, a few people got a little sea sickness but they had a nurse there to help them. Once we got to Crystal Bay we went snorkling and saw beautiful fish, sea turtles, sea snakes, amazing! We had some delicious canape style lunch and all of the dietary requirements were looked after. We enjotyed the trip back sitting up the front of the boat drinking lovely cocktails with the wind in our hair nd music was great. I can not thank the team enough for looking after us and Pande for being our trip organiser. The head office is located in Perth so that was great that we could pay for the invoice in AUD. Thank you!!

My husband and I had the best day sailing the aristocat with Bali hai! The staff are so friendly and lovely, they give amazing service. The boat itself is beautiful and well set up. At the island we did a scuba dive (which was awesome, a drift dive, coral life and fish life was great, plus lots of turtles and some dolphins on the boat ride out!). After lunch we did some banana boating and then chilled poolside! We also had a massage and they even did it by the pool for us! Lunch/food was really awesome. I’m very impressed and would recommend this trip, Bali hai does a great job. Thank you so much!!
