The Royal Varuna Yacht Club (RVYC)  is a family-oriented club for sailors of all abilities, from absolute beginners to cruisers to Olympic contenders and world champions.

Located in a secluded cove between Pattaya and Jomtien less than two hours from Bangkok, Varuna offers year-round sailing with boat storage and repair services, rentals, and friendly boat staff to help with launching and landing.

Regular weekend activities like cruises, race, courses and training ensure that every Varuna member always has a safe and fun experience on the ocean.

RVYC is also an accredited Royal Yachting Association Training Centre (RYA), and our popular and globally recognized sailing tuition for adults and for adults and for kids is second to none.

Ashore, our facilities - a private beach, a stunning clubhouse, broad lawns, an in-house restaurant and bar, a shaded swimming pool, and comfortable accommodation - make Varuna the perfect getaway for the whole family.

Established in 1989, Ocean Marina Jomtien has garnered a reputation as one of Asia’s most esteemed marinas and yacht clubs, offering outstanding facilities and services to both visiting yachts and their resident community.

Overlooking the splendid Gulf of Thailand, Ocean Marina Jomtien enjoys a strategic location that offers easy access to the best of Pattaya and a multitude of beautiful islands just a short ride away. This exceptional locale offers a vibrant, inclusive environment where visitors can relish a broad spectrum of nautical lifestyle opportunities, leisure activities, and, of course, some of the most exciting yachting experiences in Asia.

Approach to the Marina (Marina Entry and Navigation)

No vessels are permitted to berth at Ocean Marina Jomtien without prior approval. All boat owners are required to submit the relevant documents, including a mooring application form, evidence of ownership, valid boat license or registration, and valid insurance certificates, to obtain approval for berthing.

For safe and smooth navigation, all vessels, apart from small dinghies, are to enter and leave Ocean Marina Jomtien under power, not sail, and hoist/lower their sails well clear of the buoyed entrance channel. The maximum speed within Ocean Marina and the entrance channel is limited to 5 knots. Any violations of the speed limit or negligence towards other boat owners may attract penalties or fines.

Ocean Marina Jomtien offers over 380 floating berths and over 200 dry berths. These berths can accommodate a diverse range of vessels, from compact day runabouts and stately catamarans to massive superyachts of up to 75m. Each berth is equipped with modern facilities such as water, electricity, wi-fi, and fuel supply. The Marina is completely protected by a 1.5km long wave breaker and boasts an international team of yachting experts, ensuring the safety of your vessel, irrespective of the duration of your stay.

Ocean Marina Jomtien is a hub for marine-related products, services, and accessories. Any technical difficulties, be it an electrical issue or an engine problem, can be swiftly addressed by the multitude of highly qualified trades’ professionals operating within the marina. The Marina also offers dry boat storage, both trailer and hardstand covered storage, that can house up to 200 boats. This is an ideal way to protect your boat when it is not in use.

Fueling services at Ocean Marina Jomtien are extremely efficient and capable of handling any volume, from 5 liters to 500,000 liters. The marina dispenses Benzine (unleaded fuel) and Diesel, and lube oils to Avgas can be ordered on demand. The fuel pumps are all fitted with filters and their calibration is regularly checked by the authorities to ensure precision and safety.
