Hybrid-Powered WIDER 150 "Bartali"

Wider yachts presents a great motor yacht: the 46m bartali (ex-genesi) of the wider 150 range..

BARTALI is the first WIDER superyacht. The aluminum yacht features a hybrid propulsion and a floating garage perfect for the WIDER 32 . The yacht offers more than 350 m² of outside areas.

Fulvio de Simoni  designed the in collaboration with the WIDER CEO Tilli Antonelli and the in-house design team.

Juan Balaguer, Wider COO says:

“The extra time in the main shed allowed us to push ahead with the interior… it is now 90% complete. I have launched dozens of yachts in my career but have never done so with this level of completion to the interior outfitting… this will save us time in the final commissioning”

“It is enormously satisfying to see “Genesi” in the water for the first time” says Tilli Antonelli, Wider Founder and CEO. “But now we have the important task of checking that everything is working to the same high standards that we have set ourselves in every other aspect of the construction process. We believe that this can be done in 8-10 weeks but will not rush anything if it means compromising on the quality of the finished yacht…We will make sure that she is 110% finished before unveiling her in full to the market.”

The tender garage, pool and beach club area

The floating tender garage is also a 7-meter indoor seawater swimming pool when the tender is out. The stern area transforms into an impressive 90m² beach club. Another tender storage is at the foredeck area.

The interior features a full-beam owner’s suite of 75 m² with en-suite bathroom and a 5.6 m² folding balcony.

Four guest en-suite cabins are located on the lower deck. There are two VIP and two standard cabins. The crew is also housed on the lower deck in four twin cabins and the crew mess. The captain has a cabin next to the wheelhouse.

The WIDER 150 has a price of about 26 Mio. EUR.

The WIDER 150 uses the integrated bridge system by Team Italia . It looks like the place of a future Starfleet ship.

Ultimate Catamarans reveals new 46m support yacht concept 150 YS

Ultimate Catamarans has revealed its new “cutting edge” 45.6-metre support catamaran concept, named 150 YS.

Inspired by Ultimate Catamarans' Superyacht Spaceline 150 series , 150 YS was created in collaboration with senior naval architect Hans Koning and award-winning designer Laura Pomponi, founder of Luxury Projects Studio and Atelier .

The concept will be built entirely in aluminium and has been designed with masculine architectural lines and a colour proposal of white, silver and charcoal. It will also have the option to be equipped with 100 square metres of solar panels.

Accommodation will be for up to eight guests with different configurations available, so a buyer can choose between two VIPs or four standard-sized suites. 150 YS' interiors are conceived with floor-to-ceiling windows, a light, neutral colour palette and minimalist furniture. Integrated lighting contributes to the natural airiness of the space.

The main deck is envisioned with an impressive 400 square metres of storage capacity and a 36-square-metre multipurpose garage, to be used for additional toys or as a professional dive store. The catamaran is also equipped with a dedicated helicopter pad with a diameter of 13 metres.

"This exceptional catamaran represents the pinnacle of innovation, combining robust construction, ample storage, versatile accommodations, and advanced features like a helicopter pad. We believe it will revolutionize the superyacht support vessel industry, providing owners with an unparalleled level of comfort and convenience."

150 YS would be able to reach a top speed of 20 knots and have a considerable range of 5,000 nautical miles.

This news follows the release of Ultimate Catamarans' 29.5-metre concept Spaceline 100, available in a solar, power and hybrid version.

“We have developed the UC 150 YS project with a global approach as we designed both exteriors and interiors with the precise aim to create the perfect harmony between sports and operational performance with uncompromised elegance and comfort,” Pomponi said in a statement.

At the stern lies a garage with a pop-up door that can be neatly closed when not in use. The forward garages also have doors that open upward to ensure the toys and gear within can be easily accessed and then hidden away discretely. Conversely, the touch-and-go helipad on the aft deck allows your prized chopper to be fully on display.

The yard says both the exterior and interior layout can be customized to clients. As standard, the light and airy living quarters are outfitted with four staterooms for up to eight guests, cabins for up to 15 crew, and an opulent waiting lounge on the bridge deck for post- and pre-expedition hangouts.

“As far as the interiors, we created a modular high-end design that allows for extreme personalization with a wide range of materials that the owners can choose,” Pomponi adds. “Each material in the palette is selected to give a comfortable and inviting ambiance, never forgetting the performance side of the project.”

Ultimate Catamarans has labeled the 150YS a “game-changer.” Whether it will be a groundbreaking addition to the segment remains to be seen. But, at the very least, the newcomer shows support vessels can bring their own dose of style to the water.
