Salcombe Sailing Adventures

Skippered yacht charters on the south devon and cornwall coast.

Single or multi-day adventures for families, individuals or small groups, in our beautiful Italian designed Grand Soleil Yacht.

Absolutely no sailing experience is necessary, but more experienced sailors are of course welcome. You may wish to brush up on your skills, get involved with the route planning, helming, and all other aspects of handling a yacht. Alternatively, you may wish to do nothing but bask in the sun and look out for dolphins, seals and krakens. It is entirely up to you.

If you want to sail away from the crowds, learn the ropes with one of Salcombes most experienced skippers, explore hidden coves and beaches, take advantage of our extensive local knowledge then read on.

Negative longitude values correspond to the geographic locations west of the prime meridian (abbrev. W).

UTM or Universal Transverse Mercator coordinate system divides the Earth’s surface into 60 longitudinal zones. The coordinates of a location within each zone are defined as a planar coordinate pair related to the intersection of the equator and the zone’s central meridian, and measured in meters.

Elevation above sea level is a measure of a geographic location’s height. We are using the global digital elevation model GTOPO30 .

The 28.6m/93'10" expedition yacht 'Devon' (ex. Necha) was built by ABD Aluminum Yachts in Canada at their North Vancouver, BC shipyard. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of A.G. McIlwain Ltd. and she was last refitted in 2018.

Devon has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
