The two brothers are doing a great job. They care about the safety of the people renting and they care about the boats. The boat we hired for the day had life jackets, GPS tracking, flares, spare fuel and a spare engine. Failing that it even had oars! You will not need any of these items but they show the level of care the brothers put in. The boat was new and was excellent for the days travel around to ship wreck cove, blue caves and then down to Alykanas stopping for swimming and snorkeling along the way. A great day out enjoyed by the whole family and highly reccomended.

This was probably the highlight of the holiday, we were kept well informed by dionisis regarding times and the weather forecasts from the day we booked to the time we sailed. For our trip we travelled on a small vessel with the four of us and one other couple which in these times of covid19 we felt this was a much safer option than some of the other cattle wagon type trips. Our captain for the day was a fantastic guy called Dennis who couldn’t do enough for us from pointing out all the historical facts and sights to taking us to a secluded beach for swimming and snorkeling. In all a well organised day with safety and customer satisfaction the main focus and not just a quick buck to be made here.

, and the service was simply impeccable. First of all, we got all our questions immediately answered beforehand. Secondly, they went the extra mile in arranging an additional icebox on the boat. Thirdly, they gave us the option to postpone our trip as the weather was deteriorating just slightly – but we decided to go anyway.

Really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable – both sons from a fishing family born in Zakynthos (although with a few years working in London – their English is exceptional). The town of Zante is the capital and main harbor on the east side of the island and was once governed by the Venetian Castle. For some beautiful sightseeing you can stroll around Solomos Square or catch a spectacular view in the village of Bohali where you can admire the Ionian Sea. This whole district has a magical setting at night and is surrounded by whitewashed houses and bougainvillea in blooming hills. On the northern side of the island, the village of Volimes has scenic views, you can even spot the island of Kefalonia. Olive groves, vineyards and rich agricultural products can be found on this side of the island. Boat rentals in Zante usually depart from the main port and town, allowing you to visit the shipwreck beach and the blue caves on a full-day cruise. The shipwreck beach is roughly 40 minutes away and a just over an hour from the port of Tsilivi. Discover the beauty of Zante (also known as Zakynthos) Marine Park or visit Shipwreck Beach on your own: rent a boat that does not require a boating licence.  We have two types of economy boats: boats to the Marine Park and boats to Shipwreck Beach.

BOATS TO THE MARINE PARK

Our boats comply with the rules of the Marine Park where the maximum speed allowed is 6 knots per hour. You will be able to independently reach Marathonisi Island, the numerous caves in the southern part of the island, such as Keri and Marathia and the less crowded beaches hidden along the coast. You might even have the fantastic opportunity to spot a few Loggerhead (Caretta Caretta) turtles.

At the departure port in Agios Sostis, our trained staff will carefully explain everything you need to know about handling the engine and the boat, will provide itineraries, and will offer useful information on the secrets of the surrounding areas!

If you are looking for more comfort and you want to visit some of the most beautiful marine caves in Zante, you can also rent a boat with captain !
