DUJE ANTIŠIĆ - CAPTAIN Duje Antišić was born in 1997 in Split and is a mechanic by profession. He spent his entire childhood with his father on the ship Konkordia, occasionally joining crews on other boats. He worked as a sailor, machinist, helmsman, diving master, and yacht master. With his maritime skills and cheerful smile, always in a good mood, he will ensure the trip is safe and pleasant. He is optimistic and ready for new challenges and will satisfy the guests. Duje loves the sea and motorbikes and enjoys professional diving and water sports. BOŽIDAR ANTIŠIĆ - OWNER/FIRST OFFICER Božidar Antišić, born in 1955 in Split. By profession, he has a master’s degree in economics and is a long-haul captain. He has been gaining seafaring experience since his student days, sailing on the family ship mb Božidar. Since 1996, he has been sailing as a captain on the mb Konkordia for nautical tourism. Božidar loves the sea and boats and has devoted most of his vocation to ships and the sea. Božidar left the helm of the gulet Altair to his son Duja. As the young captain’s right hand, he will introduce you to the most beautiful destinations of the Dalmatian coast and show you all the natural beauty of our islands, rich history, and culture. He spends his free time walking and reading. However, his biggest hobby is the boat because there is always something to do on the ship. DUŠAN ŠKARIĆ - CHEF Dule is versatile and has many years of experience in catering. He sailed on various ships as a waiter, cooked, and worked on foreign cruise ships for several years. Full of culinary experience of different cuisines, it can satisfy every guest’s challenge. He loves Mediterranean cuisine and is known for his local specialties, especially fresh fish, crabs, and shellfish. In recent years, he has been working as a chef on yachts and gulets, and now he is joining the crew of the gulet Altair.

On the last night of a fantastic trip, I truly find myself looking for words. The past week has been nothing more than eye opening. This country was amazing, the food, the drinks and the people. The glue which joined us all was the crew of Altair. These guys are amazing. I will never forget the Captain, the service, friendship and patience they extended to us all. You are truly lucky to sail on this ship with this crew. Altair forever!

DUJE ANTIŠIĆ - CAPTAIN Duje Antišić was born in 1997 in Split and is a mechanic by profession. He spent his entire childhood with his father on the ship Konkordia, occasionally joining crews on other boats. He worked as a sailor, machinist, helmsman, diving master, and yacht master. With his maritime skills and cheerful smile, always in a good mood, he will ensure the trip is safe and pleasant. He is optimistic and ready for new challenges and will satisfy the guests. Duje loves the sea and motorbikes and enjoys professional diving and water sports. BOŽIDAR ANTIŠIĆ - OWNER/FIRST OFFICER Božidar Antišić, born in 1955 in Split. By profession, he has a master’s degree in economics and is a long-haul captain. He has been gaining seafaring experience since his student days, sailing on the family ship mb Božidar. Since 1996, he has been sailing as a captain on the mb Konkordia for nautical tourism. Božidar loves the sea and boats and has devoted most of his vocation to ships and the sea. Božidar left the helm of the gulet Altair to his son Duja. As the young captain’s right hand, he will introduce you to the most beautiful destinations of the Dalmatian coast and show you all the natural beauty of our islands, rich history, and culture. He spends his free time walking and reading. However, his biggest hobby is the boat because there is always something to do on the ship. DUŠAN ŠKARIĆ - CHEF Dule is versatile and has many years of experience in catering. He sailed on various ships as a waiter, cooked, and worked on foreign cruise ships for several years. Full of culinary experience of different cuisines, it can satisfy every guest’s challenge. He loves Mediterranean cuisine and is known for his local specialties, especially fresh fish, crabs, and shellfish. In recent years, he has been working as a chef on yachts and gulets, and now he is joining the crew of the gulet Altair.

Since 1996, he has been sailing as a captain on the mb Konkordia for nautical tourism. Božidar loves the sea and boats and has devoted most of his vocation to ships and the sea. Božidar left the helm of the gulet Altair to his son Duja. As the young captain’s right hand, he will introduce you to the most beautiful destinations of the Dalmatian coast and show you all the natural beauty of our islands, rich history, and culture. He spends his free time walking and reading. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). ALTAIR is a unique Croatian gulet which was build to cruise the Dalmatian Coast. 

The wide beam creates a beautiful spacious open deck. On the forward deck area, multiple sun loungers can be found which is ideal for sunbathing, socializing or relaxing in the shade while gazing out at the stunning passing scenery. The aft deck allows space for full-width al fresco dining for all guests. Additional lounge seats can be found near the very aft of the ship.

The inside main salon is furnished in light, soft tones which refelcts a calm and warm atmosphere. The salon offers a large dining table for indoor dining and the on-board bar. Furthermore, this area is equipped with TV, Play Station and Stereo sound system. From the salon, the cabins can be accessed by passing the bright corridors.

This charming gulet can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 en suite cabins. The guest cabins are arranged as follows: 4 cabins with double beds and 2 cabins with twin beds. The simple yet stylish design makes every guest feel comfortable and at home. 

Enjoy many sports activities such as windsurfing, canoeing, snorkeling, donut riding and water skiing if you are feeling adventurous. Captain Dare and his crew are waiting for you to create unforgetable memories together on board ALTAIR.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY:

This was our third time in Croatia on board of a gulet and the first time on ALTAIR. We never had such a sportive holiday as this. We did several hikes on Vis, Hvar and other small islands and played for several hours around the boat with the water toys. We will miss the fresh local fish on the BBQ which we chose almost every day! The Gulet Altair is exceptional because it is the only cruising sailing ship built in Croatia. It’s a unique combination of traditional Gulet design elements and modern technology, which is dependable and enables it to perform as one of the best sailing cruisers in the Mediterranean with some added Croatian flair. When you’re feeling energetic and want to take advantage of the Adriatic Sea, try some water sports equipment like donut riding and stand-up paddle boarding, snorkeling gear as well as kayak!

On the stern, all meals can be enjoyed in the alfresco dining area or indoors with the elegant, air-conditioned salon offering plenty of comfortable seating, and there’s bar where you can enjoy a drink to your liking.

• Port fees/anchorages: Port fees and anchorages are to be paid on spot in each port/anchor (in cash), according to actual costs in ports/anchors. The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/ports of call. It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 500 – 1,000 Euros).
• Dubrovnik visit fee on Split – Split route 1.500 Eur
• One way fee (1500 EUR) for embarkation / disembarkation in any other port except base port, if “empty leg” caused
• Extra navigation: 60 Eur/hour. This cost is already included in Delivery Fee
• Food discount for children: Children 0-2 years free of charge, Children 2-12 years 50% discount
• Important Note: All-inclusive beverage option includes some Croatian wines served by the crew, not all of the bar’s list. Not included: Imported wines, beers & spirits. Drinks and beverages completely supplied by clients – corkage fee: 700 Euros per week .
• Crew gratitude is customary and not in the price included (usually varies from 10% to 20% of the charter fee)

Duje Antišić

Duje Antišić was born in 1997 in the coastal city of Split, Croatia. His father, a seasoned sailor, introduced him to the sea’s vastness and taught him the ways of the waves from a tender age.

From the moment he could walk, Duje found himself aboard the ship Konkordia, his second home amidst the rolling tides. His childhood was colored by the sights and sounds of maritime life as he shadowed his father’s every move, absorbing the intricate knowledge of marine mechanics and navigation like a sponge.

As he matured, Duje’s passion for the sea only deepened. Eager to expand his horizons, he ventured beyond the confines of Konkordia, joining crews on various vessels, each voyage offering new lessons and challenges to conquer. His versatility as a sailor became evident as he transitioned between roles – from sailor to machinist, helmsman to diving master, and eventually earning the prestigious title of yacht master.

But Duje’s passions extend beyond the confines of the sea’s embrace. When he’s not navigating the high seas, you’ll likely find him astride a roaring motorbike, the wind in his hair, and the thrill of the open road beneath his wheels. While the charter guests who appear on Below Deck have a great time while filming the show, many aren't invited back for a number of reasons.

• Some charter guests on Below Deck have caused unnecessary drama and won't likely return due to bad behavior.
• Captain Glenn Shephard from Below Deck Sailing Yacht faced backlash from Barrie, who called him two-faced.
• Former guest Dr. Francis Martinis will not return to Below Deck after he was arrested for faking prescriptions.

The Below Deck franchise has featured many charter guests since 2013, many of whom will never return . The Bravo series focuses on expensive charters with wealthy guests who have attitude problems and over-the-top demands. That includes Charter guest Alexis Bellino, who boarded Captain Lee Rosbach’s yacht with her boyfriend at the time, Andy Bohn. She was disrespectful and made everyone uncomfortable with her and Andy's PDA. She even insulted crew members after featuring on the show.

Like Alexis, Delores Flora from Below Deck season 8 was a terrible guest. Not only did she misbehave, but she also got drunk and s wam while intoxicated, which is not only not allowed, it frightened the crew members. Delores got kicked out of the yacht the next day. These guests created unnecessary drama on the boat and will likely never return like a few others from the franchise.

Barrie and Tony Drewitt Barlow had a decent time in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht seasons 2 and 3. Despite that, they left with a bitter taste because of Captain Glenn Shephard. In 2021, Barrie participated in a podcast, Pita Party: The Podcast , where he claimed that Captain Glenn bothered him while using his phone .

Barrie said, “he (Captain Glenn) was a two-face b*stard,” adding that he just didn’t like his presence.

7 Frank Fay

Below deck mediterranean.

In Below Deck Mediterranean season 7, Charter guest Frank Fay had a thing for second stew Kyle Viljoen. He pursued him on the yacht, but unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last. Frank will likely never return to the series as long as Captain Sandy Yawn allows Kyle to work for her. Even if Kyle quits, Frank wouldn’t want to be in an environment that would remind him of his failed relationship.

6 Erica Rose

Erica Rose appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht two seasons in a row. Erica was highly offensive toward the crew member, as well as her husband, Charles Sanders, and to make things worse, she left the crew with a measly tip , leading fans to slam her on social media. Ultimately, Erica had to apologize for her bad attitude but never returned to give the crew the tip they deserved. Nobody on Below Deck Sailing Yacht would ever want to return.

5 Justin Guarini

Justin Guarini’s time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was not dramatic at all; however, he’ll probably never return to the series. Justin wouldn’t return because he wasn't the primary guest. He joined his friend, Kim, who wanted to enjoy a luxury yacht trip. It was more of a one-and-done deal. Secondly, nobody recognized him at all. Viewers later realized who he was and how he was the runner-up on American Idol season 1. Justin is a theatre artist and has made a name for himself. However, it was embarrassing that so many fans had no clue who he was .

Below Deck: 8 Charter Guests With The Worst Attitudes

4 johnny damon.

Johnny Damon’s time at Below Deck Med was full of explosive moments. Once, he sent the food back, citing that the experience wasn’t “five stars.” On another occasion, his wife, Michelle, created drama by yelling at the owner of another yacht . Overall, the experience was simply terrible on both sides. Crew members didn’t love Johnny and his wife, and the couple didn’t respect the crew members. It is unlikely that Captain Sandy would want to host the couple again as long as she’s in charge.

3 Krystal Murphy

Former charter guest Krystal Murphy boarded Captain Lee’s yacht with her friends. She immediately began showing red flags, drinking, and just being a menace. Krystal fought with her friend, Chelsea, creating unnecessary drama. She even passed out and punched a friend in the face. Former Chief Stew Kate Chastain disliked serving Krystal and called her a “spoiled brat;” she wanted to throw her off the yacht. Nowadays, Krystal has seemingly become a more private person. It doesn’t seem like Krystal would want to be on TV again.

2 Steve Bradley

Below Deck fans should remember Steve Bradley as he made many appearances on the show. In Below Deck season 3, he wanted a foam party and demanded the crew to figure it out and follow his commands, acting like a king. In Below Deck season 6, Steve made more outrageous requests. Apart from being a wild guest, Steve was entitled and acted inappropriately at times . No Below Deck captain would want to host him again as he didn't come off as very likable.

1 Dr. Francis Martinis

Dr. Francis Martinis from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht has a zero chance of returning. While the former charter guest didn’t have too many issues on the show, his personal life issues will stop him from appearing on Bravo again. According to TMZ , Dr. Francis and his wife, Jessica, were arrested for filling out fake prescriptions in December 2023 . The couple used the names of Below Deck stars and got caught red-handed. The Below Deck franchise would never want to welcome felons, especially when their mugshots are all over the internet.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.

Kamaz FTL hauler registers NatCar brand

MOSCOW. Sept 4 (Interfax) - National Carrier JSC, the full truckload freight trucking company headed by former Globaltruck CEO Ilya Sattarov that Russian truck maker Kamaz founded this summer, applied to register the brand NatCar at the end of August, the registry of federal intellectual property service Rospatent showed.

The NatCar brand is also mentioned in the recruitment ads of National Carrier, which is actively looking for E-class drivers. It is offering working with this year's model Kamaz diesel trucks from the flagship K5 line and new dry goods (curtainsider) and refrigerated trailers.

National Carrier was founded on July 7 in Moscow with charter capital of 1 billion rubles, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities showed. The company registered two branches in early August, in Yekaterinburg and Elektrostal, Moscow Region. The company specializes in truck logistics and associated activities, including digitization processes.

A spokesman for National Carrier told Interfax earlier that the company plans to provide FTL trucking services using its own fleet, "as well as the resources of hired truckers." The company's fleet will initially consist of 400 semi-trailer trucks with a 50/50 ratio of curtainside to refrigerated trailers, and it plans to primarily operate on domestic routes, he said.

The company has preliminary agreements with major customers among marketplaces and retailers in the FMCG and DIY segments, the spokesman said. Strong demand for trucking services is expected toward the end of the year, so there is interest from customers, he said.

Kamaz marketing director Ashot Arutyunyan announced at the International Moscow Automotive Forum at the end of August that the truck maker was the principal investor in National Carrier. He did not comment on the new company's shareholder structure, but said it is a Kamaz startup.
