Some boats can travel through the Yarra River waterways, offering a vibrant sightseeing experience under the bridges, past the Crown Casino and across the entire city skyline. The larger party boats are too high to travel under the bridges so they are limited to the area around the MCG Stadium and Port Phillips Bay which is a much larger pool of water.

Most boats have alcohol licenses so they can provide beverage packages.

Our larger party boats are decked out with a dance floor, sound and lighting systems.

Our smaller boats are more casual loungy boats (these ones can travel far up the Yarra River under the low bridges for a full sightseeing experience).

What happens in bad weather?

Fortunately all our boats are sheltered so they are not affected by the rain. But we suggest you check the weather forecast so you’re prepared for travelling to and from the vessel.

How does the booking process work?

Ready to book? We’ll send you a booking confirmation and once you’ve paid a deposit the boat is locked in for you! The balance isn’t due until the week before the event, which gives you time to confirm the number of guests attending and make any changes to your package. We’ll also send you an itinerary the week of your cruise with an updated summary of your cruise, pick-up location and contact details of your skipper. On the day of your charter please arrive 10 minutes early for pick-up. We look forward to having you onboard one of our Melbourne party boats soon!
