• Karen H. November 6, 2021, 8:14 am I will find it hard to want to go back!!! Joyce a manager at the night time bingo was very unprofessional towards me on Friday night nov.5th. I was in line to get my bingo cards and she was very harsh when telling me (not asking me) to put my face mask up over my noise. Ok what ever I did what I was told. Then while I was in the middle of a game she came up to me again and got after me about the mask. I told her that I was eating the food i got from the snack bar and playing my card at the sa me time. That was not good enough for her she insisted that I hang the mask from my ear while I was eating. By this time I missed the numbers for the game I was playing. I totally understand about the mask and I am more than willing to abide by the rules how ever when I saw other people not having there mask on when they were eating and the snack bar people were not wereing the mask in the way that the manager was telling me to do I find that to be harassment. I felt like she was on me. If it is good for 1 it's good for everyone. I really can't say that I would be back any time soon. … – show 0 0 Reply

I came out here with a friend and her fiance who have been here a couple of times before. Bingo typically tends to draw an older crowd and we were some of the younger ones here (and I'm not young). Some of the regulars came up to us to inquire/warn us about if it was our first time there and some of the rules/recommendations, etc. Some of the regulars seemed to be welcoming whereas others were clearly perturbed by our presence. They take their bingo very seriously here. They have electronic and paper cards. Nevertheless, it was still a bit of fun. Scottsdale restaurant had 4 health code violations in latest inspections

Maricopa County health inspectors cited one restaurants for four health violations during the week of March 8. The violations ranged a chef garnishing egg rolls with bare hands to ice cubes for sale with no paperwork showing who they were purchased from.

A priority violation is a major violation that directly contributes to an increased risk of foodborne illness or injury. If listed in inspection reports, remedies implemented during the inspection are noted.

During the week of March 8, inspectors visited more than 1,060 restaurants along with other food-serving facilities in hospitals, senior homes and schools. More than 140 restaurants received an "A" rating. See a sampling of the many restaurants that inspectors graded "A" at the end of this article.

4 violations

Chauncey Social, 17767 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale

• A chef used their bare hands to garnish cooked egg rolls with parsley. The chef was instructed to wash their hands and don gloves prior to handling ready to eat foods. The egg rolls and parsley were discarded.
• Cubed ice was in a clear plastic bag with no label in the ice chest in the back storage area and a small freezer at the bar. No paperwork was found showing who had sold the ice to the restaurant or where it had come from. The ice was discarded by the person in charge.
• Cooked egg roll filling with an internal temperature between 70F-73F was in a covered container. The chef said the filling was cooling for about three hours in the walk-in cooler. The filling was discarded at the time of the inspection.
• Sliced cheese was at 50F in the prep cooler across from the burger grill. Burrata cheese was at 50F, sliced tomatoes at 48F and chopped lettuce at 48F. The foods were placed in deep ice baths.

"Food was definitely above average quality but not great great. zero hate just not above average sushi though it is a solid deal for the unlimited dinner price of $30, so since I can't give it a 3.5 and don't want to give the restaurant 3 stars stick at 4 stars for this restaurant. All employees were nice, they could be way quicker about everything going on from seating to eating, it's slowish but it's a freshly opened place so gotta give the staff some time to improve so service can't be a 5 and definitely isn't a 3 so the staff friendliness being on point service gets a 4. All in all there, trapper is nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. I'll prob go back."
