The Vive La Vie is believed to be owned by 72-year-old Willy Michel, a Swiss entrepreneur who set up pharmaceutical company Ypsomed Selfcare Solutions and is estimated to be worth $1.5bn. He lives in an 18th-century Swiss castle.

The 1,277-tonne pleasure craft features a master suite and VIP stateroom, and can accommodate 12 guests in its six cabins.

It also has a Jacuzzi, gym and dining room, where the dining table can be raised to the ceiling to make room for a dance floor.
