Weltpremiere der neuen Motorboot Marke RYCK Yachts

Mit der brandneuen Marke RYCK präsentiert die HanseYachts AG ihre siebte Motorboot-Brand „Made in Germany“. Der neue Poweryacht stammt aus der Feder des bekannten Yacht-Designers Bill Dixon und richtet sich als Weekender an sportbegeisterte Skipper und Crews. Das erste Modell ist die RYCK 280, die unterschiedlichsten Kundenansprüchen gerecht und sich äußerst variabel in sechs Ausführungen konfigurieren lässt.

Je nach Variante Speed & Performance, Cruise & Swim, Trips & Weekends, Fish & Barbecue, Surf & Fun sowie Dive & Climb wird das Motorboot mit entsprechender Ausstattung versehen. Mit dem ebenfalls neuentwickelten 3D-Konfigurator lassen sich auf der Webseite alle Auswahlmöglichkeiten spielerisch entdecken und individuell zusammenstellen. Von allen unseren Bootstypen  sind neue Modelle im Bau. Covid macht alles ein bisschen schwieriger, aber wir bauen weiter und erwarten 8 neue Tender (Frühjahr/Sommer 2021). Wir freuen uns besonders auf die Auslieferung des ersten 100% elektrischen AdmiralsTenders, des ersten hybriden AdmiralsTenders X28 und auf die weiteren Innovationen. Für alle zukünftigen Besitzer ist die Auslieferung ihres AdmiralsTenders in besonderen Farben, die noch schöner sind als alle anderen, natürlich aufregend.

ZWEI C38-VERSIONEN

Die Konstruktion des AdmiralsTender C38 ist nahezu abgeschlossen. Die charakteristischen AdmiralsTender-Linien kommen bei diesem komfortablen Wochenend-Cruiser wunderbar zur Geltung. Es wird zwei verschiedene Innenausstattungsvarianten geben: Die „Lounge“-Version verfügt über eine Minibar im Innenraum und ein geräumiges Loungesofa, das sich in ein Doppelbett verwandeln lässt. Die Version „Superior Suite“ kann als Ersatz für Ihr Hotelzimmer mit einem bequemen französischen Bett und Schalensitzen angesehen werden. Beide Versionen haben ein Badezimmer mit Toilette und Dusche sowie eine Außenküche.

Mit der Say 42 bleiben sich die Bootsbauer aus dem Allgäuer Wangen treu. Ihr 12,96 Meter langes und 4,3 Tonnen leichtes  Dayboat setzt auf Karbon -Leichtbauweise für maximalen Leistungsgewinn. Damit einher geht ein effizientes Rumpfdesign mit schmal zulaufender Bugsektion, stark ausgedünnter Wasserlinie und der bekannt breiten Heckplattform für erhöhte Kurvenstabilität. 

Neu ist der Ausstattungsreichtum und ein Online­ Konfigurator, über den man sich seine Say 42 wie sein Automobil zusammenstellen kann. Say lässt die Wahl zwischen Dieselaggregaten von Yanmar und je zwei achtzylindrigen Benzin-lnnenbordern von Mercruiser, Volvo Penta oder von llmor mit ins­ gesamt 710 Kilowatt. Mit der 50 Knoten leistenden Topmotorisierung, Teakdeck, Metallic-Lack, T-Top und Bimini, Seakeeper-Stabilisator sowie Bugstrah­ler und dem Sichtkarbon-Paket leuchtet auf dem Bildschirmein Gesamtpreis von 815.000 Euro auf.

ELECTRICAL AND HYBRID They are in the making! This winter, we will be constructing both the first electric and hybrid powered AdmiralsTender 28. The developments with electric propulsion are going fast. Electric sailing with more than a sufficient range is now affordable and there is clear demand from the market. There is also a demand for hybrid drive, with a combination of electric and diesel. For many this is the ideal concept, where you primarily sail electrically and switch to diesel if you want to sail quickly. We will keep you posted on our experiences with electric and hybrid in the near future.

NEW UPGRADES AdmiralsTender continues to innovate and work on quality and finishing of the tenders. Customer experiences and feedback from prospects are key. The hybrid and electric powered versions are our most eye-catching innovations. Another example is the new driver's seat on the C28. This ergonomically developed chair stands on a pole, can rotate and is adjustable in height. As a result, the chair can also be involved in the seating area at the back. All versions now come standard with a wireless MOB (ManOverBoard) system, foldable midship cleats and solid stainless steel bumpers. A sink with tap is optionally also available on the C28.

Der Hamburger Yachtmakler, Arne Schmidt (Sea Independent, GER), ist stolz, mitteilen zu können, dass er trotz erschwerter Corona-Bedingungen, in Kooperation mit Sea Independent, NL, den Verkauf der legendären SY INSPIRATION erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat.  

1984 wurde die erste Jongert 2200s gebaut. Eine absolute Inspiration, nicht nur für ihren Schöpfer und Eigner Herbert Dahm, sondern tatsächlich für eine ganz neue Generation großer Segelyachten. Dahm, nicht nur Mitbegründer der boot Düsseldorf, sondern als weltweiter Verkäufer von Jongert, 35 Jahre lang sozusagen das Gesicht und der "Frontman“ dieser legendären Werft war, hat in diesem Schiff besonders viele seiner immer wieder innovativen Ideen realisiert.

Mit fast 92 Jahren und dem Verkauf "seiner INSPIRATION", die er mit viel Herzblut 36 Jahre gesegelt und gepflegt hat, verlässt er die Yachtszene nun endgültig.

OCEA Commuter 50: cruising from the past into the future

Combining pure elegance, classic contours and the very latest technical capabilities...

Over the past twenty years, the Commuter range has become emblematic of OCEA's shipbuilding expertise. The design is inspired by the “commuter yachts” of the early 20th century, sleek boats owned by New York’s billionaire class and designed to ferry them across the East River to Manhattan with speed, elegance and maximum class. 

For the poles or the tropics

“The Commuter 50 is true to that heritage, and fits right into OCEA’s family of ocean-going yachts,” explains Fabrice Weinbach, commercial director at OCEA. “It offers a large reception capacity, and can also be fitted out with a whole range of extras.” It also encapsulates OCEA's superior know-how in ship design and construction: “We create boats suitable for long journeys in any and all of the world's seas,” Fabrice Weinbach continues. "They allow their owners to explore the planet's most sun-kissed shores as well as its coldest reaches.” Thanks to their low draught, an advantage made possible by OCEA's aluminium hull design, these yachts can anchor very close to shore. 

Thoroughly modern propulsion systems

The OCEA Commuter also benefits from our shipyard's advanced expertise in the fields of hybrid propulsion and electric diesel systems. “We started installing hybrid technologies in 2014, on vessels designed for scientific research or maritime security purposes. The feedback we’ve received has been very positive,” the commercial director adds. For example, an 84-metre patrol vessel recently delivered by OCEA features electric motors powered by on-board generators, working in parallel with the main diesel engines. Used for speeds of up to 12 knots, they allow for a 30-35% reduction in overall fuel consumption. “Running generators at a constant rate ensures that they remain within their optimal operational range”, Fabrice Weinbach is keen to point out. With less work to do, the main diesel engines require less maintenance - another sizeable saving. “This solution is highly competitive in purely operational terms, and also allows owners to reduce their environmental impact by cutting down on CO2 emissions”, he adds. 

Comfort, to the ends of the earth

Aboard the OCEA Commuter 50, twelve guests can make the most of the spacious upper lounge with full-length windows, the Easy Boarding lateral boarding system for dinghies, the optional sun lounge on the forward deck, or even a totally private sun deck complete with jacuzzi… In order to preserve the sleek contours of the Commuter 50, its large dinghies – up to 10 metres! - and jet skis are stored internally, protected against the elements. We can even install a helipad on the rear deck.

The OCEA shipyard turns thirty!

Now a major industrial group capable of building ever larger ships out of aluminium, OCEA is celebrating thirty years of business…

It was in February 1987 that Roland Joassard and Fabrice Epaud founded OCEA by taking over a shipyard in Les Sables-d'Olonne. In thirty years, the shipyard turned into a major industrial group that has since diversified into maritime safety and security, passenger transport, working boats and, of course, motor yachts. Business is spread across a wide range of geographic sectors and markets — OCEA generates 95% of its turnover from exports — which today ensures a sound financial position. In 2012, OCEA launched Orion — a plan focusing on optimisation and industrial reorganisation for OCEA Naval — in order to fully upgrade its production tool. A large part of this plan involved building the new production site in Les Sables-d'Olonne where the yachts are made. “It’s a smart building that has given us a competitive edge and allowed us to expand our range of vessels to larger boats”, says Roland Joassard. The site can now accommodate units up to 85 metres. OCEA is currently building the world's largest aluminium patrol boat (84 metres) that will be launched in the coming months.

Unique expertise

From the very beginning, the two partners made the strategic decision to specialise in aluminium; the material significantly reduces boat weight and fuel consumption while making maintenance easier... and with a lower environmental impact!

Over the years, OCEA has acquired unique expertise in aluminium and its hulls now come with a ten-year guarantee. “We’re developing efficient, high-quality, well-built vessels, and all at a low cost of ownership. We started out this way and we’ve kept the same standards for all the types of boats we’ve developed”, explains Roland Joassard. In thirty years, OCEA has delivered more than 300 ships in France and around the world.

Custom yachts up to 85 metres

In the early 2000s the OCEA shipyard entered the world of yachts by drawing on its extensive expertise to produce efficient and high-performance boats, with excellent sea-handling capabilities and transatlantic range. For shipowners, integrating the necessary knowledge and expertise at each stage of building a yacht at the shipyard also ensures schedules and budgets are fully met, and a high level of support throughout the life of the boat. OCEA Yachts has delivered nine vessels to date, the largest being 47 metres long. State-of-the-art facilities in Les Sables-d'Olonne today enable OCEA to expand its range of motor yachts and offer — alongside the ranges Commuter, Nautilus and Nemo — even larger units, such as the OCEA X47 projectand the OCEA Nemo 50 Ice, and even custom yachts up to 85 metres.

As it celebrates thirty years, OCEA is in top form and expected to reach nearly 100 million euros in turnover this year. Happy anniversary!

OCEA Nemo 50 Ice: the extreme player

Die erstaunliche OCEA Nemo ist viel mehr als nur eine "Spielzeugkiste": Eine Darstellung der neuen Version dieses schroffen Seefahrers, präsentiert von seinem Architekten Fulvio de Simoni.

"Ich habe OCEA über den italienischen Vertreter der Werft, Aldo Manna, getroffen", erinnert sich Fulvio de Simoni. "Das hat mich dazu gebracht, OCEA diesen revolutionären Plan zu präsentieren, der ein doppeltes Achterdeck bietet, das doppelt so viele Tender aufnehmen kann." So können Sie viele und auch viele verschiedene Spielzeuge mit an Bord nehmen: die größten auf dem Oberdeck (Segelboote, Sport - Fischer ...) und die zerbrechlichsten sicher  verstaut! Eine Frage war, ob sich die essenzielle Alchemie zwischen dem italienischen Designer und OCEA entwickeln würde. Fulvio de Simoni erklärt beruhigend: "Wir haben schnell definiert, was nötig ist, damit das Projekt der OCEA-Philosophie entspricht: mehr als nur Yachten, sondern echte Boote. Und Aluminium ist ein Material, das mir ziemlich vertraut ist, denn das allererste Boot, das ich entworfen habe, war aus Aluminium. Es passt zu meiner Kultur, und es ist wunderbar, zu tun, was man liebt, um Designprinzipien auf ein echtes Boot anzuwenden. Das ist wahrscheinlich der Grund, warum OCEA Yachts und ich absolut vertrauensvoll zusammenarbeiten konnten. "

Einen Schritt weitergehen

Dies hat die beiden Partner zweifellos ermutigt, in ihrer gemeinsamen Vision weiter zu gehen und sich des OCEA Nemo 50 Ice anzunehmen. Die Yacht erscheint hier in ihrer endgültigen Version, die ganz der Erkundung und dem Anspruch an extreme Bedingungen gewidmet ist und in der Lage ist, die wildesten Ufer der Arktis und Antarktis in völliger Sicherheit, überlegenem Komfort und mit den notwendigen Tendern nach Herzenslust erkunden zu können. Auch wenn es bedeutet, sein Doppelachterndeck aufzugeben: "Wir reden nicht über eine Expedition," sagt der Architekt, "sondern um alles, was man braucht, um sich in einzigartige Landschaften zu wagen." Die Mission wird erfüllt mit zwei großen Tenderbooten, die bequem zu den rudimentärsten Hafenanlagen kommen können und zwei RIBs, mit denen man sehr nah an das Polar-Eis kommen kann. Natürlich hat der Architekt darauf geachtet, die Ästhetik der Yacht zu betonen und beizubehalten. Die Insignien eines robusten Abenteurers überschreiten die Linien des OCEA Nemo. "Die Größe des Nemo 50 Ice ist auch eine Garantie für hervorragende See-Handling-Fähigkeiten. Diese Qualitäten teilt er mit den anderen Booten der OCEA Nemo-Reihe ", ergänzt Fulvio de Simoni.

Cocktail ... auf den Felsen!

Um in den Polarregionen zu navigieren, verfügt der Nemo 50 Ice über Schäfte und Propeller anstelle von Antriebskanonen sowie einige spezielle Modifikationen, einschließlich eines verstärkten Rumpfs und kleinerer Fenster auf dem Hauptdeck. "OCEA zeichnet sich bei dieser Art der Anpassung wirklich aus", sagt Fulvio de Simoni. "Das leichte Aluminium begrenzt auch den Tiefgang für mehr Sicherheit." Das Achterdeck ist mit Davits auf jeder Seite ausgestattet, um das Starten der Haupttender auch bei extremen Wetterbedingungen zu erleichtern. Und das Betreten der Tender ist einfach und sicher von der breiten Zugangsplattform ... Die geschützte obere Terrasse, wo die Gäste die atemberaubendsten Ausblicke genießen können, vervollständigt diese erstaunliche Superyacht. "Allen OCEA-Yachten ist gemein, dass sie lange Zeit kreuzen können", sagt Fulvio de Simoni. "Aber diese Yacht ist mit einem anderen Ziel konzipiert, nämlich die Ozeane in vollen Zügen zu erkunden." Alle Ozeane, ohne Ausnahme.

  “I met OCEA through the Italian representative of the shipyard, Aldo Manna,” recalls Fulvio de Simoni. “That's what led me to present them with this revolutionary plan featuring a dual aft deck that can store twice as many tenders.” So, you can take many and a variety of toys on board: the tallest on the upper deck (sailboats, sport-fishers…) and the most fragile stowed away! One question was whether the essential alchemy between the Italian designer and OCEA would develop. Fulvio de Simoni explains reassuringly: “We quickly defined what was needed for the project to be in line with OCEA’s philosophy: more than just yachts, they are real boats. And aluminium is a material that I’m quite familiar with, since the very first boat I designed was made of aluminium. It fits my culture, and it's wonderful to do what you love, to apply design principles to a real boat. That's probably why OCEA Yachts and I were able to work together in complete confidence.” 

Going further

This is undoubtedly what encouraged the two partners to go further in their shared vision and to imagine the OCEA Nemo 50 Ice. The yacht appears here in its final version, totally dedicated to exploration and extreme conditions, capable of cruising the wildest shores of the Arctic and Antarctic in complete safety, superior comfort and with the necessary tenders to be able to explore to your heart’s desire. Even if it means giving up its dual aft deck: “We’re not talking about setting up an expedition,” smiles the architect, “but of having on board everything you need to venture deep into unique landscapes.” Mission accomplished with two large tenders that can comfortably approach the most rudimentary port facilities and two RIBs to get as close as possible to the sea ice. Of course, the architect made sure to emphasize the yacht’s aesthetics. The trappings of a rugged adventurer transcend the lines of the OCEA Nemo. “The size of the Nemo 50 Ice is also a guarantee of excellent sea handling capabilities. These are qualities it shares with the other boats in the OCEA Nemo range,” adds Fulvio de Simoni. 

Cocktail… on the rocks !

To navigate in the Polar Regions, the Nemo 50 Ice features shafts and propellers instead of propulsion pods, as well as some special modifications, including a reinforced hull and smaller windows on the main deck. “OCEA really excels at this kind of adaptation,” says Fulvio de Simoni. “The lightweight aluminium also limits the draft, for greater safety.” The aft deck is equipped with davits on each side to facilitate the launching of the main tenders, even in extreme weather conditions. And boarding the tenders is easy and safe from the wide access platform... The sheltered upper terrace where guests can enjoy the most stunning views puts the finishing touch on this amazing superyacht. “One thing all OCEA yachts have in common is that they can cruise for long periods of time,” says Fulvio de Simoni. “But this yacht is designed with a different objective in mind, namely to explore the oceans to the fullest.” All the oceans, without exception.

After the White Nights we will bring the SAY29E from 12th to 14th of July to Monaco and will participate at the Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge. So you are welcome to see and support the races, Karl and Christian will be there. Karl will be the helmsman of the SAY29E and Christian will follow the races with the SAY45 RIB. So you are invited to follow the races and stay on board the SAY45 RIB and test the SAY29E.

Bigger version of the Admirals Tender

Customers and prospects asked for a bigger version. A ship withy the same beautiful hull design, but bigger, more comfortable and better at sea. Together with Peter Bosgraaf Yacht Design we have started to develop the AdmiralsTender 36. We think we now have a very nice design for this 36 feet yacht (10.80 x 3.30 m). There will be several different versions. The boats will be built by Zaadnoordijk (Heerenveen, NL).  

Modern Coaster

Die Hamburger Lütje Werft machte in den vergangenen Jahren mit Edelbarkassen wie dem 50-Füßer „Georgia“, der 33-füßigen „Elbe Eins“ und einem 28 Fuß Projekt gleichen Typs von sich reden. Mit senkrechtem Vorsteven, angehobenem Vorschiff und achtern niedrig umrandeter Plicht – wie man es von der heimischen Barkasse oder Pinasse kennt.

Jetzt nahm sich die Werft gemeinsam mit dem bekannten Konstruktionsbüro Judel/Vrolijk & Co. erneut den Classic Coaster vor. Diesen vom sogenannten Lobster Boat der amerikanischen Ostküste inspirierten Typ baute die Lütje Werft in den neunziger Jahren in mehreren Exemplaren von 30 bis 40 Fuß. Zur zurückgenommenen Eleganz und ringsum gediegenen Ausführung passten die dunkelgrünen, dunkelblauen oder schwarzen Rümpfe. Der Classic Coaster kam so gut an, daß sich ein Eigner mit der vielbeachteten „Feara“ eine größere und modernere 47-Fuß Variante als Hochgeschwindigkeits-Motoryacht für das Mittelmeer bauen ließ. Seitdem lag für Lütje Yachts der MODERN COASTER in der Luft.

Gestiegene Erwartungen an die Bewohnbarkeit des ursprünglich für Tagesausflüge und gelegentliche Wochenendtörns gedachten Typs führten zur Entwicklung eines völlig neuen Bootes. Es ist wie der Classic Coaster ansehnlich, charmant und ziemlich retro.

Der MODERN COASTER, wie die Werft die Neuentwicklung nennt, erinnert gestalterisch an den Sportfisherman der Staaten, wo der Bootstyp in den 50er Jahren entstand. Die Deckskante ist mit kühnem Schwung vom leicht abgesenkten Bug über das angehobene Vor- bis zum niedrigen Achterschiff geführt. Das panoramaverglaste Steuerhaus ist weit achtern auf einem niedrigen Sockel angeordnet. Auch die geschwungene hintere Säule des Aufbaues und das geneigte Dach zitieren den Sportfisherman und unterstreichen die Tradition.

Das hochbordige Vorschiff bietet bei ruppigen Bedingungen reichlich Auftrieb und in der Eignerkajüte 1,85 m Stehhöhe. Auch sonst punktet der MODERN COASTER mit Annehmlichkeiten, wie sie heute am Wochenende oder beim Urlaubstörn an Bord erwartet werden. Im Vorschiff gibt es eine jederzeit benutzbare, zwei Meter lange und bis zu 2,20 m breite Doppelkoje, außerdem ein WC mit Waschbecken und einen Kleiderschrank.

Das neue Layout trennt die Nutzung des Bootes durch Gäste geschickt von der Privatsphäre. So wurde die Pantry abweichend vom Classic Coaster unter dem gestreckten Dach des Steuerhauses zum geselligen Kochen und zur Versorgung der Gäste in der Nähe des großen Eßtischs untergebracht. Solche Annehmlichkeiten machen den MODERN COASTER zur veritablen Motoryacht mit allem, was man an Bord braucht.

Das Achterdeck wurde rings um die 1,70 m lange und 1,30 m breite Sonnenliege geräumiger und zugänglicher gehalten. Zum Vertäuen des Bootes gibt es auf beiden Seiten einen Gang. Die Badeplattform ist durch zwei Pforten im Spiegel ebenfalls bequem zugänglich. Das Vorschiff wird über Stufen zum seitlichen Laufdeck erreicht.

Die klassisch edle Mahagoni Vertäfelung unter Deck ist um mattweiße Oberflächen ergänzt. Das verleiht dem Interieur eine zeitgemäß moderne Note. Der Antrieb erfolgt mit dem vielen Eignern vertrauten Z-Trieb. Das Boot wird mit permanentem Dach und alternativ auch offen gebaut.

Noch ist der MODERN COASTER ein Projekt. Doch begeisterte die Lütje Werft bisher meistens Kunden für eine ihrer schönen Ideen. „Übrigens bauen wir den Classic Coaster wie gehabt oder mit kleinen zeitgemäßen Retuschen beim Interieur. Ganz wie der Kunde das Boot haben möchte“ betont Werftleiter Jan Böhm

Weiße Segel, flirrendes Wasser, ein strahlender Himmel - ganz schlecht fürs Geschäft, jedenfalls im Jachthandel. »Die Käufer«, sagt Arne Schmidt, »sind da schon draußen auf dem Wasser. Und wer nicht auf dem Wasser ist, hat nicht genügend Geld. Der ruft bei mir nicht an.« Arne Schmidt, Gebrauchtjachthändler beziehungsweise Hanseatic Jachtbroker, legt Wert auf einen tadellosen ersten Eindruck. Wer den verdirbt, der bekommt nicht leicht eine zweite Chance. Den Niedergang soll man an ihm und seinem Auftreten nicht festmachen können. Also dann: Den Rücken gestrafft, noch einmal mit den Händen durchs schüttere Haar, und Schmidt steigt aus seinem penibel geputzten Saab, Baujahr 2000. Es ist neun Uhr früh und über der Marina in Flensburg kreischen die Möwen. »Ein wunderbarer Tag für Schiffsbesichtigungen «, sagt Schmidt. Schmidt ist zu früh, das ist er meistens, weil ihm das Zuspätkommen ein Graus ist. Ein Hamburger Immobilienunternehmer will seine Jacht verkaufen, dafür ist er nach Flensburg gefahren. Eineinhalb Millionen ist der Preis, acht Prozent sind Maklercourtage, in diesem Fall also 120 000 Euro. Wenn Schmidt bis Anfang Herbst dafür einen Käufer findet, hat er für den Rest des Jahres keine Sorgen mehr. Doch dieses Wenn ist in den vergangenen sechs Jahren ein Angstbegriff geworden. "früher hieß es, wir finden den richtigen Käufer. Heute sind wir froh, wenn wir überhaupt einen finden.«
