At 354 feet, the $200 million Ije Yacht is impressive and packs quite a punch. The boat comes with space for 22 guests in 11 cabins and is serviced by a crew of 28. Commissioned by seasoned yacht owner Packer, who had given a brief for an elegant yacht that could also carry three large tenders. In the past, Packer has owned several impressive boats like a 180-foot Amels superyacht purchased for $47 million and a 170-foot Amels, the Seahorse, which were both sold later. He also owned a 288-foot ice-breaker, the Arctic P, that he gifted to his sister in 2017. His fleet once included the 165-footer Mangusta named Z Ellerston, and a 150-foot Leopard called Z Sydney. Done with smaller ships, he makes the most of the boat he is left with, his gigantic 354-feet luxury vessel Ije.

Who is James Packer?

Worth $2.8 billion per Forbes, Packer owes much of his wealth to the casino business that he stepped down from in March 2018, the Crown Resorts. The 56-year-old is one of the richest persons in Australia who comes from wealth as he was the son of Kerry Packer AC, a media mogul. He inherited the family wealth and companies like the Consolidated Press Holdings Limited, as well as investments in Crown Resorts and others. More interesting than how he acquired his wealth is how he splurges it.

Italian shipyard  Benetti  superyacht  IJE  was spotted at North America West Coast on her way to San Pasquel. The 108m vessel was built in 2019 and bought by Australian billionaire, casino mogul, and inveterate superyacht collector James Packer.

This Italian-built floating palace is estimated to have cost Mariah Carey‘s ex-fiancé around $200 million. Previously known as  FB275 , she is one of three yachts 100 metre+ yachts, built at the same time at the shipyard in Livorno, following the launches of FB277 and FB272. Mr.Packer named the yacht IJE after his three children: Indigo, Jackson, and Emmanuelle.

Built from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, IJE features timeless exterior design by the British studio RWD and interior, which remains top secret, created by Benetti's own interior design department. The superyacht offers accommodation up to 22 guests taken care of by a team of 29 crew members with open spaces onboard covering more than 1000 square meters.

IJE can cover up to 6,500 nautical miles with its 345,000-liter fuel tank and reach a top speed of up to 18.5 knots using its two powerful MTU dual engines, each with 2880 kW. Her cruising speed is 14 knots. The yacht is also equipped with a Schottel Stern SPJ electric pump.

“Oh my gosh, I’ve been swimming with sharks my whole life and I still am,” she continued, before putting on a posh accent to implore, “Please, Mr. Shark, don’t hurt me, baby!”

Mariah certainly seemed to feel the love from the Lambily throughout the day, tweeting, “Sitting here looking at all these videos and comments..I promise you I’m by myself sitting on the stairs in tears of happiness like..OMG the lambs have always been and still are UNPARALLELED!!!!! ‘Please make a note of it!’” and later adding, “I want to like and repost and comment on every one of your tweets!!!! It’s so overwhelming in a positive way” with a series of crying emojis.

To prove her point about how she views birthdays, the icon also shared a fan account’s tweet using a resurfaced interview in which she explains, “I don’t have birthdays. No, well, I just have anniversaries. I decided to do that. And I’ve noticed that people who decide not to have birthdays, they just don’t have them.”

We've heard of his-and-hers bathrooms, but his-and-hers yachts? That's how one is living if you're Mariah Carey and fiancé James Packer . The diva gave ET an exclusive tour of the yacht she's vacationing on this summer.

"It is important to have his-and-hers everything," Carey told ET.

While Packer has the Arctic P, the seventh largest privately owned vessel in the world, Carey has a chartered 16-crew luxury liner. They're currently both anchored together off the coast of Italy.

Carey's 192-foot capri features two bars, a Jacuzzi, a gym, a library and a private chef. The master suite, with its opulent bath, is just one of six staterooms.

The Arctic P alone costs a reported $340,000 a week plus expenses, but it's clearly worth it to see the smiles on the faces of Carey's 5-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.

"They love swimming in the water," Carey shared. "They are amazing swimmers."

While Carey is enjoying her family time on the water, the pop diva isn't totally on vacation. She's updating her Caesars Palace residency in Las Vegas, titled #1 to Infinity, and working on a new album with longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri. What's more, there could be another collaboration coming up in the future.

Two weeks ago, the 46-year-old singer posted a video to Instagram showing her singing along with The Weeknd at a party for Leonardo DiCaprio.

"That was the best. That was so much fun. I love him," she gushed to ET.

Mariah Carey's on a Boat! Inside Her Italian Vacation with James Packer and Her Twins

The singer and her family traveled over the fourth of july to the southern italian isle of capri and shared a slew of pics.

Mariah Carey  and fiancé James Packer  look very much in love and sure know how to vacation in style.

The 46-year-old pop star, the 48-year-old Australian billionaire and her 5-year-old twins  Moroccan and  Monroe  spent the Fourth of July weekend on and near the island of Capri in southern Italy and recently visited the island of Ponza.

During their vacation, the group spent time basking in the sun on Packer's 280-foot mega luxury yacht, the Arctic P. They also dined on the shore and celebrated the holiday with music producer David Geffen , who arrived on his own yacht, The Rising Sun. 

Carey posted a slew of photos  of her and her family's Italian vacation on her Instagram page.

On Thursday, she and Packer were spotted strolling on the cobblestone streets of Capri, accompanied by an entourage.

"I was hoping to see her on the island, as the word spread that she was there, and I did," an onlooker told E! News exclusively. "It was so exciting, and they looked so happy!"

The two enjoyed an Italian feast at the Aurora restaurant, a favorite of the singer, along with about eight other people. Packer sat at the end of the table with Carey by his right side. The couple "looked very happy" and the singer "was glowing," E! News has learned.

Carey wore a black lace slip dress, paired with a diamond necklace, and matching hoop earrings. Packer wore a black t-shirt and a grey sports jacket.

The two dined on pizza all'acqua, the house specialty, which is a wafer-thin pizza with chilli peppers and local mozzarella cheese, as well as clam and zucchini fettuccini and a fish dish—grilled pezzogna, caught hours earlier. The restaurant owner also gifted the couple with a cake bearing the words "we love you."

After they finished their dinner, Carey and Packer exited the restaurant and she posed for selfies with fans waiting outside and signed autographs.

On Friday, Carey, Packer and the twins sailed north west to the Italian island of Ponza. Monroe enjoyed strawberry gelato on board his yacht.

The Fourth of July is a bittersweet holiday for the singer; Her father,  Alfred , died that day in 2002 at age 72.

"I know July 4 is a very painful time for her, due to her dad's death that day, but she looked as if she was in a very happy, serene place, with the man of her life by her side," the onlooker old E! News.

Carey paid tribute to her father on Instagram on the holiday.

IF you’ve got an Instagram account and / or a healthy appreciation for diva excess, you’ll likely know that Mariah Carey’s spent the European summer on board her billionaire beau James Packer’s superyacht, moored off the coast of Italy.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the lovably ludicrous singer takes one lucky reporter on board for a guided tour.

But firstly, a clarification: James and Mariah aren’t just spending their summer on ONE yacht. Rather, they have his-and-hers vessels.

“I think it’s important to have his-and-hers anything,” she reasons.

Mariah’s yacht, the Capri, is home to the singer and her two children, Monroe and Moroccan.

While it’s a minnow compared to Packer’s abode, the Arctic P (the seventh-largest privately owned vessel in the world), Carey’s 192-footer does come complete with six staterooms, two bars, a jacuzzi, a gym and a library.

“This is, like, one of my favourite places ever,” said Mariah, conducting the tour in a robe worn wide open to reveal a glittering, bejewelled bikini.

The Capri comes complete with an on-board private chef, and costs $US340,000 a week to rent plus expenses — including $40,000 per week on fuel. For Mariah and the kids though, it’s merely a home base — they nip across to the Arctic P each day, where they spend most of their leisure time.

It’s not all relaxation, though — many nights, Mariah makes the one-hour boat journey to Naples so she can work on her next album in a studio in the Italian city with producer Jermaine Dupri.

She said that billionaire business mogul Packer was accommodating of the unusual hours kept by an international pop diva.

“He’s very cool, very understanding. When I’m writing a song at four o’clock in the morning, I’m not going to go up there blasting music ... well, I did that once and it was interesting . Anyway, I’m talking too much ...”

Thanks to a tour rivaling her MTV Cribs episode that Mimi gave to Entertainment Tonight of the yacht she’s staying on this summer, Carey revealed that she and fiancé James Packer have their own vessels during their summer vacation.

Carey’s yacht is a 16-crew luxury liner named “Capri,” a 192-foot yacht that has two bars, a Jacuzzi, a gym, a library, and a private chef, as well as six staterooms. Who is the ideal man for Mariah Carey, eternal chanteuse and emancipated Mimi? Someone else in the music industry, who can inspire her and collaborate with her? Some buttoned-up normie who can offer a bit of calm and stability to offset the turbulence of the creative life? An Australian billionaire who’s obsessed with her music? If you studied those three options and, after due consideration, said to yourself, “Hm, I think number three,” well then, you’re in luck. Because Mariah Carey is, in fact, dating an Australian billionaire who is obsessed with her music.

His names is James Packer, a media and resort mogul worth several billion dollars, and he is apparently quite a fan of Mariah Carey’s music! TMZ says that Packer threw Carey a party on his yacht off the coast of Sardegna this past weekend, and that the party played nothing but Marah Carey music the whole time. While Mariah Carey was there! Imagine being on a yacht in the Tyrrhenian Sea with an Australian billionaire who plays nothing but Mariah Carey songs and then Mariah Carey is also there . I mean, imagine being anywhere with Mariah Carey, but especially imagine being on some big crazy boat owned by the king of Australia with Mariah Carey, while Mariah Carey songs waft across the decks of the ship. Oh, also, you’re off the coast of an Italian island. That’d be quite an experience!

Carey is having quite the experience herself, as it seems this romance with Packer is of the whirlwind variety. TMZ says that though Packer has “been pursuing Mariah for months,” he only just went to one of her Las Vegas concerts “a month and a half ago,” and that they hadn’t seen each other between then and this yacht trip. And yet things seem to have already gotten serious, at least as serious as a yacht trip around the Mediterranean implies.

Which, hey, sure, sometimes you fall fast, right? But, of course, it’s natural to have some concern that Mariah could just be dazzled by the gigantic yacht blaring her music, and that’s allowing her to get a little swept up in this fantasy, one she’s probably had for some time. I mean, we all have a fantasy that a billionaire will take us on a cruise around Europe while our own music plays. Mariah is just the one who actually saw it come to fruition. So let’s be happy for her, but also hope that she’s keeping one foot on the ground throughout all this.

Same goes for you, Packer. I know you really like Mariah Carey music, and that sailing the wine-dark sea with Mariah Carey at the prow of the ship, a living figurehead, sending her songs out across the blue like a siren, has long been a dream of yours. We’ve all had that exact dream at some point in our lives. But do get to know the real Mariah Carey while you’ve got her, won’t you? Both of you, make sure you share a bond beyond the whole Mariah Carey Sound Experience Summer Sea Tour thing. You’ll ultimately be happier that way.

Mariah Carey Terrified After a Large Shark Invades Her Yacht Vacation: 'I'm Upset'

Mariah Carey's vacation was interrupted by a shark and she's pretty 'upset' about it.

Mariah Carey ‘s dream vacation turned into a nightmare.

While soaking up the sunshine on her mega yacht, the songstress had a most unwelcome visitor on Friday that no doubt had her thinking she wanted a bigger boat.

A large shark swam up to her vessel and Carey documented the entire encounter on Instagram Friday.

“Okay this is not okay. I know it’s a shark and I’m not supposed to be scared, but I’m scared — I’m upset,” Carey, 48, said in the video.

In the clip, Carey can be seen pointing at a shark swimming alongside her yacht.

Luckily, Carey was not in immediate danger as a fan pointed out, “That’s a nurse shark 🦈, harmless!’

For the outing, Carey sported an animal print one-piece with a black wetsuit with green lining on top, very similar to the suit she wore on Wednesday, however that one featured pink lining.

On Wednesday while wearing her unusual wetsuit, Carey posed up with daughter Monroe Cannon , who made sure to look just “like mommy!”

In the photo, Carey and her 7-year-old both smiled with their right legs up in the air.

On the same day, Carey gave her Instagram followers a closeup look at her vacation style as she posed in the low-cut suit, which was unzipped to show off her cleavage and sparkly pink bikini.

According to ET , the mother-of-two went under gastric sleeve surgery in November of last year, and, a source has confirmed, she has been staying fabulously fit by simply eating healthy. Salmon with capers and plain chicken broth, to be exact. 

While the diva still is reportedly not hitting the gym, she is not stopping herself from enjoying a glass of red wine once in a while.

Looks like Mariah is all set to return for her residency at the Caesars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas, titled "The Butterfly Returns," which will run from August 31 to September 10.

Drake earns another turn inside the top 10 on the Billboard 200 this week, and as he does, he breaks out of a tie with Mariah Carey. The Canadian rapper matched with the singer last frame for the fifth-most weeks spent inside the highest tier on the ranking of the most-consumed albums in the country of all time. Now, he’s passed her.

For All the Dogs , Drake’s most recent album, climbs slightly on the Billboard 200 this week. It lifts to No. 6 from No. 8, but as long as it appeared somewhere inside the top 10, he would have pushed past the chanteuse and earned a new spot on the Billboard history books.

Drake has now spent 234 weeks inside the top 10 on the Billboard 200. That total includes all of his credited albums, mixtapes, and other various projects. Most of his efforts that have cracked the top 10 have reached the No. 1 spot–he’s accrued 13 leaders so far–and as each one stayed inside the loftiest space, it added to his sum.

Last frame, Taylor Swift broke the all-time record for the most weeks inside the top 10. She adds to that feat as two of her releases, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) (No. 7) and Lover (No. 9) hold on inside the top tier. She ups her count to 386 turns between Nos. 1 and 10, with that figure increasing by two this week alone.

The Beatles come in second on the list of artists with the most weeks inside the top 10 on the Billboard 200, with 382. That stood as the best showing for many years, but Swift beat the band, likely for good. The Rolling Stones come next, with 309, followed by Barbra Streisand, with 277.
