Project SkyFall, is a 59m FDHF all-aluminium, full-custom motoryacht set for delivery in spring 2023. Her thunder will come from 22,000 horsepower. This extraordinary power will feed four water jets that will drive her at 37 knots in light load conditions – an impressive feat, particularly when considering her significant 900GT volume. She is the most powerful project Heesen has created to date.
The Owner appointed Omega Architects to design the striking profile of his yacht. SkyFall exudes power and speed in every single detail. The exterior design includes a fishing cockpit located at the stern for her Owner, who is a keen angler.

SkyFall’s layout is tailored to perfectly suit the lifestyle of her discerning Owner. Ten guests will be accommodated in four suites on the lower deck, while the Owner has reserved for himself the bridge deck aft as Owner’s deck. A large suite facing aft opens on the private terrace equipped with a whirlpool and seating area ideal for relaxation.
The main deck features a conversation area and alfresco dining on the aft terrace. Large sliding doors connect the outdoors with the indoor seating area and the large bar amidships. Further forward the formal dining set up seats up to twelve guests around an elegant oval table. Forward, the media room features a cinema and a games table.
With tenders and a wide range of watertoys conveniently located on the fore deck, the lazarette is set as a luxurious beach club with wellness area.

MONACO YACHT SHOW 2023
Heesen confirms sale of new 59m superyacht
At the beginning of monaco yacht show the shipyard announced the sale….
Just before the doors opened at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), Dutch superyacht builder, Heesen Yachts , have confirmed that a new 59m custom vessel has been sold. Discussing the news during a press conference this morning, Heesen referred to the new project, YN 19959 Project SkyFall, as the “most powerful project Heesen has created to date.”
Built using the patented Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), created in collaboration with Van Oossanen Naval Architects , the new sale is set for delivery in the Spring of 2023. And, with 22,000hp, the new vessel will be able to reach impressive speeds of up to 37 knots.
As per the owner’s request, Omega Architects were selected to design this new custom build, and briefed to incorporate unique additions, such as the fishing cockpit located on the stern for the owner, who is a keen angler.
“The projects have become more complex and we have adapted our organisation's structure as a result,” says Arthur Brouwer, CEO of Heesen Yachts, addressing the room in the Hotel Hermitage, Monaco.
“In the past few years we have seen a significant shift into the 50m plus market" - Arthur Brouwer, CEO - Heesen Yachts
“In the past few years we have seen a significant shift into the 50m plus market,” says Brouwer. “I am delighted to report that we see an increasing interest in full custom yachts.
“We are very proud and very happy with our strong speculative build programme at Heesen," commented Brouwer. "We not only have patented a new technique called the ‘back bone’, we have also introduced the ‘dynamic Hull Vane’.
"We are focused on the environmental impact and we start from the bottom with our hulls,” he continues.“You can only change the environment if you take it very seriously, which Heesen does.”
Twelve yachts are currently under construction at Heesen, with deliveries that span through to 2023. In addition to the semi-custom yachts built on a proven engineering platform, Heesen is registering an increasing interest in full-custom yachts. The order book includes 60m Project Falcon, due for delivery in 2021 and the mighty 80m full aluminium 29-knot Project Cosmos, scheduled for delivery in 2022.

[VIDEO] Heesen joins hull and superstructure of 60-metre superyacht Project Skyfall
by Mariska Buitendijk | Sep 21, 2021 | News , Shipbuilding , Yachts
Heesen Yachts has joined the hull and superstructure of the 60-metre, all-aluminium Project Skyfall, YN 19959. In a complex operation over several days in September, three large mobile cranes lowered the main engines onto their mounts, and then hoisted the superstructure into place over the waiting hull.
The exercise involving meticulous planning and precision engineering, but it all went without a hitch. Project SkyFall will now remain in shed number nine for outfitting until Spring 2023, when it will leave the harbour of Oss for intensive trials in the North Sea.
This high-speed vessel is a sport fisherman in yacht disguise, complete with cockpit, fighting chair and storage for forty rods. Frank Laupman of Omega Architects created the exterior design. The yacht has a Fast Displacement Hull Form optimised for performance and efficiency. Gyro stabilisers and interceptor trim plates maintain the correct running angle under way.

Heesen’s most powerful yacht to date
SkyFall will reach a top speed of 37 knots in light load conditions, thanks to four MTU 20V4000 engines producing 22,000 horsepower and driving four Kongsberg S90 water jets.
When complete in 2023, a custom tender will accompany Heesen ’s most powerful yacht to date. Vanquish builds the tener to a Guido de Groot design that will mirror the mother ship down to the last brushstroke. The yacht’s muscular shapes are crafted to produce strong architectural shadows, while Laupman has underscored the sport fishing image with a high-contrast paint scheme. Deeply tinted windows, a black superstructure band and hardtop, and red-orange accent stripes will all be expressive of Skyfall’s immense power and speed.

Discussing the news during a press conference this morning, Heesen referred to the new project, YN 19959 Project SkyFall, as the “most powerful project Heesen has created to date.”
Aimed at the more adventurous owner, this 67-metre, hybrid-powered ‘yacht plus’ sits well in every Mediterranean port, but offers the same exquisite comfort on venturous trips to the Artic waters or Galápagos Islands.
Thanks to its lightweight aluminium Fast Displacement Hull Form, complete with course fins, gyro stabilisers and interceptor trim plates, Heesen yard number 19959 has an extraordinary top speed of 37 knots in light load conditions.
With the start of the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, Heesen is celebrating the sale of custom 59m/193.5ft superyacht PROJECT SKYFALL (YN 19959), which began construction on speculation and is due for completion in 2023.
