Accommodation: Luxury Sailing Yacht KAWIL can accommodate up to 6+1 yacht charter guests in 3 luxuriously appointed en-suite cabins. The guests will have a total of 2 double and 1 twin with single beds at their disposal. The full beam master cabin features a queen size bed, a settee, a vanity, and large en-suite. The starboard based VIP guest double, also features a queen size bed (convertible to two twins on request) while the port side cabin is a twin with fixed lower single beds. This private charter yacht can also accommodate 7 th guest with captains approval, a nanny or a child in a separate exercise room which has a Pullman berth and en-suite head. The guest in this area would use a shower with one of the other guest cabins. All cabins have their own individual air con and audio-video entertainment systems etc.

Super Yacht crew on board of Luxury sailing yacht KAWIL: The Captain on board of SY KAWIL is a Glaswegian born Ross Palmer, who ten years ago while working in Australia on a sail and dive yacht charter, saw a super yacht and realised the potential for a new yachting career. When returning to Britain, he worked a year of night shifts to pay for his yacht master course, obtained his license and then left for his first job on a yacht. After passing exams, attending courses and spending nine years working his way through the ranks Ross is now the Captain of the good ship KAWIL. Ross's yachting career has been exclusively aboard luxury charter yachts. He always puts in the extra effort to make each charter extra special, every time. On a more personal note, Ross is a keen kite boarder and longs for the day when he has a garage to restore and ride classic British motor bikes, a pastime which terrifies his girlfriend.  Another Brit on board is Chef Rhiannon Rymer. Born in Hereford, England, she obtained a BA with honors in Business and Finance at university in Bristol before embarking on a career in financial services in London. Whilst working in the finance industry she qualified as an accountant and specialized in financial markets. At the age of 29 she decided to go travelling for a year... that was 4 years ago! After travelling through SE Asia and Australasia she rediscovered her passion for the ocean, cooking and adventure and hasn't looked back. Rhiannon obtained an advanced certificate in cookery from Ashburton Cookery School in Devon. She now enjoys preparing a diverse range of culinary delights tailored to the personal tastes and dietary requirements of KAWIL's guests.  Working and living on sailing yachts is a perfect fit for Rhiannon. She is extremely active and loves paddle boarding, scuba diving and swimming.  First Mate Jay Scott-Doran has been sailing all his life starting in the north of England with small sailing dinghies, then onto more serious racing and competing in the world championships before moving onto superyachts in 2006. He has travelled extensively on land as well as on the sea.  He completed his dive master qualification in the crystalline waters of Borneo where the amazing underwater sea life ignited a passion for underwater photography. Jay takes every opportunity to hone his skills with the goal of entering competitions. He enjoys sending guests home with souvenir photos of their snorkelling expeditions. Jay grew up in the countryside and has a love of the outdoors with mountain biking being a big passion, along with other action sports including windsurfing, skiing, snowboarding and rafting. He is responsible for keeping KAWIL's water toys 'at the ready' for guests and is a cheerful, patient instructor. On top of these three distinguished crew, private yacht charter clients on board of SY KAWIL will also meet Australian Engineer Steven Bannon, and Stewardess Elena Hand. De-Luxe Luxury Sailing Yacht KAWIL charter prices: KAWIL super yacht charter prices start at 52,500 US$’s per week in low season and rise to 60,000 US$’s/ week in peak season, mainly during the usual winter season in the Caribbean or New Year and Christmas holiday season. All rates are under MYBA terms and plus APA expenses. In some locations VAT can be charged on top and prices can be higher on special days such as NEW YEAR or during special events such as Antigua boat show or racing events such as the Buckets. Luxury motor yacht KAWIL is fully air conditioned throughout. This is a non-smoking vessel. KAWIL´s experienced super yacht charter crew of up to 4-5 including the captain Barney Latham, have a separate head and shower and companionway. Guests may not be allowed to bring pets on-board.

Rob is from Dorset in the UK, and has grown up sailing dinghies from a young age. He raced competitively through school and university, while working at his local marinas during his holidays. He has been working full time on yachts for seven years, five of which were spent on the J Classyacht Hanuman, cruising and racing in New England, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. When not sailing, Rob enjoys spending his time travelling, kite-surfing or up in the mountains.

Beth is originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts where she was raised in and on the water. Studying marine biology in University afforded Beth the opportunity to combine her interest in marine science with her long term passion of SCUBA. Being highly influenced by her father who was a commercial fisherman and world traveler, Beth eventually took opportunities to work on many different types of vessels around the world including research vessels, dive live a boards and luxury charter yachts. With these experiences came a new found passion for cooking and she has had the opportunity to work for and learn from other highly experienced chefs along the way. Beth loves SCUBA, competitive sport fishing, music, traveling and learning about foods from around the world.

Jennie grew up in the coastal town of Falmouth in the UK, she has never been far from the sea. From a young age, she raced dinghies and keel boats with father and brother, as well as cruised around the South of England on her family’s boat, and has a degree in Silver-smithing and Gold-smithing,and worked for a professional jeweler for two years after graduating.However, the call of the sea proved too much, so the yachting industry has been her home for the past five years, four of which were spent on the 140’ Ketch Rebecca.

Known as “Chico”, he is from Albufeira in south of Portugal.He grew up with the sea and since a very early age sailed dinghies and swam.During school vacations he worked in different jobs, all related to the sea,lifeguard, deckhand, skipper. He graduated in Marine Electronics Engineeringfrom the Portuguese Maritime College and decided to jump in a leap of faith andsee the world.

Growing up on the sunny beaches of Cape Town, Robyn's love for the ocean started at young age, however sailing was something she wasn't introduced to sailing until a lot later in life when living in the UK. Whilst working for a yacht design company just a stone’s throw from where she lives in the New Forest, Robyn was swept up in the world of super yachts and very quickly became intrigued by a life style she knew she'd love - traveling,sailing and working with people. After landing a role as a deckhand/stew she learned the ropes very quickly and went on to work in both the modern &classic sailing yacht world before taking a break & moving to Central America to follow another passion, surfing. Returning to yachts, for an itch that couldn't be scratched whilst living in one spot, she is eager to keep exploring and learning. With a love of scuba, water sports, learning Spanish& yoga, Robyn hopes to combine it all to keep living her incredible adventure.

The 11th edition of the Superyacht Challenge Antigua has attracted ten magnificent superyachts, all set to race in the fantastic waters around Antigua. Ideal conditions are forecast for the regatta with blue skies, trade winds and Caribbean swell. As always, the Superyacht Challenge Antigua is designed to be solely for the pleasure of superyacht owners, their guests and crew. The magnificent fleet take part in five days of spectacular racing under the ORC Superyacht Rule. All of the boats and sailors racing at the Superyacht Challenge Antigua come from North America, Europe, Australasia, and the Caribbean Islands. Winners at the Superyacht Challenge Antigua receive barrels of rum, suitably filled. The Gosnell Trophy is the only trophy awarded and goes to the yacht, who in the opinion of the competitors and race committee, has competed in the Spirit of the Regatta, both afloat and ashore.

The 121ft Dyksra sloop Action, will be skippered by Josh Gilchrist. Returning after their debut in 2020. Action was built at the Royal Huisman Shipyard in the Netherlands. Action features naval design by Dykstra Naval Architects with an interior created by Rhoades Young. Farfalla

The 102ft Southern Wind sloop Farfalla, with Sam Laidlaw at the helm, will be skippered by Richard Chadburn. This will be Farfalla’s debut at the Superyacht Challenge Antigua. Built by the South African shipyard, Southern Wind and from the drawing board of Farr Yacht Design. Freya

The German Frers Designed Swan 90 Freya will be skippered by Joph Carter. This will be Freya’s third regatta having made the podium in 2014 and 2016. Built by Nautor’s Swan in Finland, Freya is familiar sight on the East Coast of the USA and in the Caribbean. Hetairos

The 218ft Dykstra/Reichel Pugh ketch Hetairos, is skippered by Graham Newton, and will be making their debut this year. Despite her classic looks with a plumb stem and sweeping counter, she is a thoroughly modern high-performance yacht built in carbon composite by Baltic Yachts. Hanuman

The J-Class Hanuman is a 138ft sloop designed by Charles E. Nicholson, skippered by Josh Luckhurst, and will be making their debut this year. Hanuman is a regular on the regatta circuit and is one of the most successful winning J-Class yachts on the water. Built by Royal Huisman shipyard in the Netherlands. Kamaxitha

The 180ft Dykstra ketch Kamaxitha, is skippered by Tim Urwin and making their debut this year. The Spirit Of Tradition ketch was built at the Royal Huisman Shipyard in the Netherlands. Designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, with a beautiful interior by Rhoades Young. Kawil

The 112ft Sparkman & Stephens sloop Kawil, is skippered by Robert Lloyd and taking part in their fourth regatta this year. Kawil’s debut was in 2015 and was a class winner in 2017 and 2019. Kawil was built by Derecktor Shipyards, South Florida USA. Nilaya

The 112ft Baltic Nilaya, with Filip Balcaen at the helm, is skippered by Rom Loopik. This will be Nilaya’s fifth regatta having won class in 2016 and 2019, as well as class runner up 2017 and 2020. Nilaya has been one of the most successful high-performance sailing boats launched by Baltic Yachts, particularly on the race course. Nilaya is designed by Reichel/Pugh and an interior from Nauta Yacht Design. Rebecca

The 140ft German Frers ketch Rebecca, is skippered by Rob Foxell with Grant ‘Fuzz’ Spanhake at the helm. This will be Rebecca’s sixth regatta including winning class at the 2012 edition and The Gosnell Trophy in 2019. Built at the Pendennis Shipyard, Cornwall, UK. Her eye-catching looks were designed by German Frers with an interior from Robin Black. A unique feature is the sole, made from antique Heart Pine salvaged from a North American mill built in 1711.

John McMonigall’s Oyster 82 Zig Zag, is skippered by Carl Raynes. This will be Zig Zag’s sixth regatta in a row, including winning The Gosnell Trophy at the last regatta 2020. UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry is the association of trade show organizers, fairground owners, national and international associations of the exhibition industry, and its partners.
