My wife, Kathy, and I checked out the Waterfront, previously the Lake Forest Yacht Club, this past Saturday afternoon. Panini Pete has done wonders to this old buildiing. It is now gorgeous inside and out. The staff are incredibly friendly. The ambiance is superb. We... sat at the bar and enjoyed cocktails while talking to a very kind and friendly bartender. The view of the Bay here is spectacular and there is plenty of seating outdoors. I'm thinking this is going to be a great place to watch college football this fall and winter. Oh, the food that passed on the way to tables smelled and looked delicious. More

TOP notch service by Anna C.! Gorgeous views of the sunset and wonderful new addition to Daphne. Food could work out some “new opening kinks”—seafood goblets low, almost zero, crab meat. All was ok and they just opened. Get your seat soon!

Waterfront had a beautiful view. All the food we ordered was very good. Our waitress Chloe,gave us great service. She explained all the different food items we asked about, she also made some great suggestions. Such a cheerful, friendly girl.

The atmosphere was good but the food was poor and overpriced for lunch and on top of that i was hit with an unexpected credit card upcharge. Sauces were heavy on red onions and too overpowering. I visited the previous month and it was just... as bad. More

We arrived shortly before 6:30 and were seated on the deck (it was a Friday evening). The weather was a tad steamy but they have plenty of fans going and an amazing spritzing system. We ordered the pickled shrimp appetizer, a burger and the shrimp... bowl. All were amazing.. The shrimp appetizer was endless....Well worth every penny!! More

Great location, the view is worth the trip. Cannot wait to be back in warmer weather to enjoy the patio. As for this trip, most everything we ordered was wonderful with the exception of a very strange salad. The service was good, I’m just not... sure the waitress wanted to be there that night. More

Great location. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable. However food was not good. Disappointed with that, but really enjoyed the location and the atmosphere. Will probably return but just for a nice drink on the patio and maybe try an appetizer. So many better... dinner options in the area. More

Great location, good server, mediocre food. Mixed reactions from our party of 6. Pete should have sought premier with this beautiful location. Hopefully the LFYC and public have only medium expectations.

This restaurant is new and has a great view. Inside and outside seating. They have misters and fans outside. It was about 90 out, but comfortable sitting on the deck. Great service and a clean restaurant. Good food and good prices. Will definitely eat here... again. Open on Sundays but not on Mondays. More

This restaurant is relatively new and my review is intended to allow for some level of improvement. Fundamentally, don't bother. Wait a month or more. Service is slow, the food is average and the prices are outrageous. I ordered a sirloin burger--$15. It was small,... dry and tasteless. The accompanying fries were cold and incredibly average. And to top it off, the server could not even figure out how to process our credit card for payment. Here is the kicker...The Waterfront charges a 3% fee for using a credit card. Many restaurants do, but the credit card fee is included with the food and beverage charges; which means that state taxes are then collected on the credit card fee. That is excessive and seemingly unfair. There are still allot of restaurants that do not charge a credit card fee...maybe they are more deserving of my business, and yours. More

Yes it IS new and yes the view is great but ... First the acoustics sux You can barely hear the waitress as she yells. The food was great but the service was bad. Sit way toooo long before we spoke with a waitress. The... bartenders saved the day for many of the weary tables by coming out and at least taking drink orders. Good food and good views don't make up for slow service. Should it get better....yes... maybe this building is haunted..... previous attempts went belly up! More

I agree with Greg. Our experience was not good. Poor food, very poor portions and arrived cold. Server was good but don’t think he expressed our disappointment to the manager so we had to which is too bad.

Excellent atmosphere with great service from Xander our waiter. He assisted with menus selection and was on target. Will return due to great service and food.

I used to come here for the burger, now I come here for the excellent service. Lizzie is a great waitress, she always has a smile on her face and always seems genuinely happy to be there!

This restaurant is an all around great experience made even better by my waitress Lizzie! She is amazing and the shrimp tacos were to die for. I will be coming back and asking for Lizzie every time!
