The design, bed (especially the pillows) were pure luxury, breakfast options. Location and views of Marina are superb! The birthday extras they put in room, they were super chill about late check out and lovely staff. Pool on rooftop was fabulous and warm on a breezy day, good look out. Virtually everything down to scented aroma of the place.

Location was superb!! Jerry at the reception gave us early check in plus she was very warm and welcoming. A big thank you to her and her colleagues!!! The entire staff were keen and attentive to detail.

More or less everything! The location is really good, breakfast amazing, pool area has a really nice view on Marina. But what I liked the most is the service, we arrived way before check in time, and we were travelling whole night and the staff gave us an early check right away to get some sleep. Really appreciated it, keep up the good work!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Vida. The hotel is in a great location on the Marina, rooms were quiet and the pool on the roof was great. We also had breakfast included, which I can only recommend. The pool area can get busy, but generally speaking we didn't have any trouble getting a lounge. The marina area is great for walking, close to public transport and also the beach. I can only recommend Vida for travellers wishing to stay in the marina area.

Everything at the hotel was top notch, especially the staff. Rohit made our stay extra special. He was always available for us. Besides that the ambiance and overall environment was pretty amazing

The view of the Dubai marina from this hotel is worth all the money. It's an absolutely magnificent place! Delicious breakfast! The room was very comfortable. Everything was perfect. The location is perfect - Dubai marina is so beautiful! The restaurant (Origins) was very good. The stuff was very friendly and the food was very tasty - I like that they offer some traditional meals with a modern twist. The breakfast is very good - you order from a menu and they cook it for you. I recommend Avocado Salmon toast! Last morning, we had to leave very early (before 7 am), so they sent to our room some croissants and fruits. We did not have a chance to go to the pool because the weather was cold but the view from the pool was amazing.

The hotel is great, very modern and had a divine signature smell that we loved. The location is perfect, both for getting to other places, or just going to the beach (about 10-15 min of walking). The pool facilities are great, and the view from the pool is really nice. Everything was so clean and without a lot of people - generally it did not fell crowded even if we did notice that the breakfast time was quite busy. The breakfast and coffee were great and the staff was very polite. Our room was located towards the Marina, but we did not hear a singe sound in the night. We really did not have any complaints and the experience was wonderful.

Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club hotel to open in December

The 230-metre high skyscraper is replacing the city’s original and much-loved low-rise yacht club.

A luxury hotel opening in Dubai Marina this year will finally replace what was once one of the city’s most popular boating, dining and drinking destinations.

Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club will open in December with 158 rooms overlooking one of the world’s largest man-made marinas.

The four-star hotel is bringing a sophisticated yet unpretentious Miami-inspired design, social dining options and co-working spaces to the site on the Marina Promenade, formerly home to the much-loved Dubai Marina Yacht Club .

That building opened in 2008 and quickly became one of the neighbourhood's most popular destinations with a private marina and health club, plus several Dubai social staples such as Aquara Restaurant, Yots Sports Lounge and the nautical 25°55° Cafe Bistro.

Demolished in 2017 by Emaar as part of redevelopment plans for Dubai Marina, more than five years later, the new 230-metre skyscraper tower is finally gearing up to take its place.

Details on what exactly travellers can expect when staying at the family-friendly resort are still being released, but all rooms will have views over the city or the yacht-filled marina.

There’s also a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a state-of-the art gymnasium and a spa offering wellness treatments.

Concepts by Killa Design — the same company behind Dubai’s Museum of the Future, recently named the world’s most beautiful building — include a simplistic, sophisticated design that translates into vast open spaces filled with natural light. There's also forward-thinking technology such as innovative in-lobby arrival pods where guests can self-check-in.

The hotel offers direct access to the Marina Promenade, with Dubai Marina Mall and JBR within walking distance. And if it’s anything like Vida’s other hotels, the new property will also be dog-friendly , meaning travellers should be able to bring their pets for an overnight stay.

Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club is the fifth Vida hotel in the city, joining properties in Emirates Hills, Downtown Dubai and Ras Al Khor. The family-friendly hotel group also has a beachfront property in Umm Al Quwain.
