Babylon’s new wedding venue The Piermont holds grand opening

Greater Babylon coverage is funded in part by The Argyle Theatre, where Broadway comes to Babylon. Click here for tickets to ‘A Chorus Line,’ performing Feb. 1 through March 31.

Revelers packed The Piermont for its grand opening bash on Tuesday evening in Babylon.

“It a has been an incredible experience,” said co-owner Andrew Affa. “We are thrilled to have it all come to completion.”

Affa took over the former Babylon Venetian Yacht Club with his partner Steve Squitiro back in January . To celebrate, the two hosted a party filled with food, drinks, music, and, of course, an incredible view.

“The reactions we’ve seen so far has made us genuinely happy,” said Affa. “The look on potential brides’ faces that are coming into the facility with their jaws dropped is amazing.”
