Below deck mediterranean season 3 cast

Meet the Almost-All-New Cast of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 3

Jelly Roll Weight Loss

Bravo is taking us back to the high seas for a new season of Below Deck Mediterranean , which sets sail on Tuesday, May 15, at 9 p.m. ET. You won't recognize most of the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 3 cast, though — six of 'em are newbies!

Sure, Captain Sandy Yawn is back — helming the 178-foot Talisman Maiton, the reality show's largest yacht to date — and chief stew Hannah Ferrier and chef Adam Glick are returning, too. But as Captain Sandy takes the luxurious motorboat around Italy, we'll get to know her six new staff members: three deckhands, two stewards, and a bosun. We do, however, have some early intel on these new yachties…

Brooke Laughton

View this post on Instagram #naples #italy #redwine #travel A post shared by Brooke Laughton (@brookelaughton) on Oct 3, 2017 at 9:39am PDT

A Bravo press release reveals this second stew was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, thanks to her "upscale upbringing" in Manchester, England. In fact, she even had to learn how to do laundry when she entered the service industry. Brooke's parents broke up a few years ago, but she remains a "hopeless romantic" who might even be down for a "boatmance."

Kasey Cohen

View this post on Instagram Just call me babe…ruth A post shared by Kasey Cohen (@kaseylcohen) on Mar 19, 2018 at 4:28pm PDT

The daughter of a New Yorker father and a Colombian mother, this third stew has a "natural balance" and a "worldly view," Bravo says, plus charisma and confidence in spades. In prior lives, Kasey was a pageant contestant, a straight-A student, and a psychology major. Like Brooke, she was raised in privilege, but she is determined to succeed in this white-glove gig.

Conrad Empson

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Conrad Empson (@conradempson) on Sep 6, 2016 at 3:54pm PDT

This "baby-faced bosun" also hails from the United Kingdom, just like Brooke. He took his first yachting job when he was 18, following his mother into the industry. Bravo says Conrad has a "mischievous grin" and a "jovial nature." He also has no filter, which often gets him into trouble but also charms his high-end clientele.

João Franco

View this post on Instagram Suit up!😎 #tailored #newlook #classyasfuck #bluesuit #lookgoodfeelgood A post shared by João Franco (@joaograntfranco) on Mar 27, 2018 at 10:22pm PDT

After living amid political unrest in Zimbabwe for his first 20 years, this lead deckhand left home and talked his way into a job on a yacht. His "independent spirit" may put him at odds with his bosses, but it also inspires his clientele. After finding success in his career, João's next challenge is finding a success in his love life, since he admittedly "wins the hearts of many and disappoints quite a few."

Colin Macy-O'Toole

View this post on Instagram Wedding swag A post shared by Colin Macy-O'Toole (@colin_macyotoole) on Dec 9, 2017 at 10:57am PST

Music is Colin's passion, but boats are his life. While growing up on the south shore of Long Island, NY, he started work as a deckhand at age 15 and eventually became a captain of ferries to and from Fire Island. Bravo says he's "a quintessential momma's boy" who gets homesick for his friends and family. Perhaps he'll find love, though — he's single, after all, and boasts an "infectious" personality.

Jamie Jason

View this post on Instagram I have as much interest in Valentine’s Day as I have for Microsoft Excel 🥀 Deal of the Day This ‘Slimming’ Suit is Just $16 Today! View Deal jQuery( document ).ready( function( $ ) { var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * 100); if ($('.shop-with-us__container').length ) { $('.shop-with-us__container').show(); } } ); A post shared by Jamie Lynn Jason (@jamielynnjason) on Feb 9, 2018 at 11:24pm PST

With a "wicked sense of humor" and a "sharp tongue," this deckhand and self-proclaimed "class clown" keeps her friends laughing and her foes withering. Born in South Africa, Jamie lived in California for two years before moving to the French resort town Antibes and starting her yachting career. In her last job, she was the sole stew and deckhand on a 79-foot yacht… so she probably enjoys having helping hands on the Talisman Maiton . Anchors aweigh!

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3: next episode, trailer, cast and everything we know

Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is underway and the only thing calm may be the water.

Chef Marcos cooking on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is here, and Captain Glenn Shephard is back to balancing the demands of vacationers with the drama of his crew. And let’s face it, in most instances, the baggage of his crew far outweighs the luggage of any guest.

This season takes the show to the waters surrounding Menorca, Spain. The breathtaking views only serve as momentary interruptions to the hookups, the confrontations, the injuries and the occasional emergencies of the new season. Given the interesting dynamic that already exists between returning crew members like Daisy Kelliher and Gary King, the addition of a new chef, new stews and new deckhands make sailing anything but smooth aboard the Parsifal III.

Here’s what we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

When is the next Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premiered on Monday, February 21. New episodes continue to air on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo TV in the US. Episodes are available the next day in the UK on Hayu , which can be included as part of a Prime Video subscription. Additionally, Peacock via Sky TV or NOW TV also offers next-day streaming for Bravo content.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back with the first part of the season 3 reunion airing on Monday, June 27, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. After a tumultuous season full of drama and love triangles, it will be interesting to see what the cast has to say to one another when they face off.

By the way, have you read why fans are grossed out by Ashely's grilled cheese feast ?

What happens on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew having drinks

Viewers of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 will recall that the last time the crew was together, first mate Gary King was involved in a messy love triangle with deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. While fans of the show won’t have to worry about seeing King in a continuation of that love saga, based on the trailer, King will again find himself entangled in a romance. It appears he entangles with chief stew Daisy Kelliher of all people. While the two appeared to make amends at last year’s reunion after feuding all season 2, no one expected the two to be locking lips.

Additionally, it should be noted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is done with love triangles, as Bravo TV teases this season fans can expect to see a “twisted love pentagon.” More may not turn out to be merrier in this case.

Fans of the show will also remember that Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew were involved in an accident during season 2 . Season 3 shows how Captain Shephard has been able to bounce back from the incident while also trying to avoid another potentially disastrous event.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 cast

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 includes returning crew Captain Glenn Shephard, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. These members are joined by chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 looks like it’s not light on the conflict or surprised hookups.

For those needing more details about that kiss between Gary and Daisy, hear from Daisy herself as she provides a little more insight on their involvement.

How to watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 air live on Mondays in the US. With a subscription, episodes can also be streamed live via Fubo TV , Hulu with Live TV , Sling TV and YouTube TV . Additionally, Peacock provides next-day streaming for its subscribers. In order to access episodes, would-be viewers will have to subscribe to Peacock Premium , which offers either a $4.99 ad-supported or $9.99 ad-free plan.

Viewers in the UK can watch episodes the day after they air using Hayu .

Who's leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

It looks like everyone's favorite Below Deck chef is calling it quits. Marcos Spaziani recently took to Twitter to announce that he has no plans on returning for another season.

I want to thank everyone for the big support and great comments. I never thought in my life I would bring so much inspiration to so many ppl and for that I’m very grateful and also blessed! But I can’t go back to the next season. #BelowDeckSailingYacht #belowdecksailing pic.twitter.com/CLTmtLV7yP June 1, 2022

60 metre Benetti motor yacht St David is the star of the tenth season of Below Deck, returning to the Caribbean with beloved Captain Lee. A finalist at the 2009 World Superyacht Awards , St David is a full-custom yacht with both interior and exterior design by British studio Winch Design .

Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins, with a split-level master suite that lets in plenty of light.

A palatial theme characterises St David ’s social spaces, with features including a generous skylounge and a spiral staircase that leads through all three decks and is lit by a skylight in the spa pool of the sun deck. More about this yacht

The star of Below Deck Mediterranean season seven, 49.8 metre Home is the first “green” superyacht to appear on the show. Featuring a ground-breaking combination of a super-efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen Naval Architects with power provided by a hybrid propulsion system, Home boasts reduced emissions and fuel costs for the eco-conscious charter guest.

Defined by a distinctive vertical bow and large expanses of glass, Home was penned by Omega Architects and launched by Heesen in 2017. Her interiors, designed by Cristiano Gatto in a modern “Ibiza style”, can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins including a full-beam master cabin with a dedicated dressing room and a private office. There is also room for nine members of Below Deck crew on board, including Captain Sandy who has returned to the helm for the seventh season while Home is cruising the coasts of Malta .

The main socialising spot is up on the sundeck, complete with a Jacuzzi and sit-up bar, a shaded lounge and protection from the elements provided by glass screens. Closer to the water, a beach club with an air-conditioned gym is situated next to the swimming platform from which guests can launch the water toys including SeaBobs, Hoverboards, E-foils, Jet Skis and a Flyboard. Home also carries gear for scuba diving, waterskiing and wakesurfing for guests to make the most of their time on board.

Charter cost: Home is managed for charter by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from $245,000.

Yachts for charter

Sailing under her own name around the South Pacific islands of French Polynesia on Below Deck’s sixth series, the 56.4 metre My Seanna (now Starship ) was built by Delta Marine in 2000 and refitted in 2014. The Glade-Johnson designed superyacht reappeared again for season eight, where she was filmed cruising in Antigua. She is now starring in the latest season of the show, season nine, following her recent sale .

Key features include an open air Jacuzzi surrounded by an al fresco drinks bar, a gym, a sauna room, a helipad and a spacious beach club complete with a lounge, flatscreen TV and a small galley for preparing snacks or drinks. Her opulent interiors can accommodate up to 12 guests and 11 crew and even offer a home cinema and piano for entertaining in the main saloon. There are multiple toys carried on board as well, including gear for diving and spearfishing, Seabobs and equipment for underwater filming.

“The thing that I really love about My Seanna is the spacious cabins” says Worth Avenue retail charter broker, Shannon McCoy, who has appeared on episodes of Below Deck . She describes My Seanna as a “well-appointed yacht with a good collection of toys for the guests to enjoy,” offering an excellent layout with a variety of spaces that allows charterers “to have breakfast in a different place every morning or enjoy dinner whether it's outside under the sun or in the formal dining area.”

Charter cost: Starship is managed for charter by Worldwide Boat with a weekly charter rate starting from $275,000.

Lady michelle.

Sailing under her real name, Lady Michelle was the star of the sixth series of Below Deck Mediterranean , which was the latest series from the Med spin off. The 54.8 metre Benetti superyacht is the second biggest yacht ever to feature on the show, following just behind the 56.2 metre motor yacht The Wellington from season five. During season six Lady Michelle hosted charter guests in Ibenik, Croatia with Captain Sandy behind the helm.

First delivered in 2003, Lady Michelle features accommodation for up to 14 guests including a split-level master suite with its own panoramic observation lounge. Her Stefano Natucci interiors offer indoor and al fresco dining spaces, an expansive sundeck with a hot tub and dedicated gym. There’s also a range of toys at the guests’ disposal, from Jet Skis and Seabobs to fishing gear and a waterslide.

Charter cost: Lady Michelle is managed by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from $325,000.

The Wellington

Actually named The Wellesley , this 56.2 metre Oceanco superyacht is owned by property magnate and hotelier Khalid Affara and named after his luxury art deco hotel in London. Delivered in 1993, The Wellesley features extended deck spaces and Donald Starkey -penned interiors that replicate the grandeur of the eponymous Knightsbridge hotel. Highlights on board include a waterfall jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema for movies under the stars and a unique private club-style lounge complete with a Winston Churchill inspired cigar room.

Describing why she makes an excellent charter yacht, James Graham-Cloete, director of charter management from TWW Yachts , says that The Wellesley is “ideal for entertaining family and friends, or hosting corporate events in utter privacy,” thanks to the fact that she “boasts some of the largest open deck spaces of any 56 metre on the water.” Graham-Cloete also adds that, on The Wellesley , “guests are invited to experience the same exceptional personal service, fine dining and attention to detail that has become synonymous with the hotel, on board a private superyacht,” while being looking after by her 14 crew members. “The crew have one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry and one of the best charter records, along with a full-time masseuse on board- making her the ultimate charter yacht!” says Graham-Cloete.

Charter cost: The Wellesley is managed by TWW Yachts with a weekly charter rate starting from €230,000.

Talisman Maiton

Built in 2006 by Turquoise Yachts , with a refit in 2012, the 54.2 metre Talisman Maiton sailed the coasts of Italy in the third series of Below Deck Mediterranean and was also captained by Sandy Yawn. Her toy box is filled with snorkelling and fishing gear, Jet Skis and more for guests to enjoy while on board.

Charter cost: Talisman Maiton is managed by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from €273,000.

Ionian Princess

Appropriately named for the first season of Below Deck Mediterranean , which was set in Greece, the 45.7 metre Christensen -built yacht was captained by Mark Howard during filming. Launched in 2005 and last refitted in 2016, Ionian Princess features a luxurious Greek-style inspired interior finished with high-gloss sapelle mahogany joinery and custom in-laid stonework throughout. Ionian Princess can host up to 12 guests in six cabins, including two master cabins, and also boasts plentiful dining options and a sundeck equipped with a hot tub and sunpads. She also comes with a fleet of water toys from waterskiing and wakeboarding kit to Jet Skis and kayaks. Thanks to her shallow draft, she can also access hard-to-reach hidden gems in the Mediterranean Sea that other larger yachts aren’t able to. “ Ionian Princess is ideally suited for cruising the Mediterranean, which is the most sought-after region for summer yacht charters,” says her management team at charter brokers Northrop & Johnson.

Charter cost: Ionian Princess is managed by Northrop & Johnson with a weekly charter rate starting from $175,000.

Charter cost: BG is available to charter privately , POA.

Here's Where the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Is Now

Did the drama continue?

below deck sailing yacht season 3

Since it debuted back in 2020, Bravo’s spin-off Below Deck Sailing Yacht has certainly delivered some of the most dramatic feuds and steamy boatmances, and it looks as if Season 3 is no different.

While Captain Glenn Shephard is returning to take the lead of the Parsifal III, there’s a lot that’s changed, including a brand new crew and filming location. The cast will be sailing through the stunning waters of Menorca, Spain, but they’ll definitely be hitting some rocky moments, especially when it comes to returning crew members Gary and Daisy’s love-hate romance.

Well, it seems as if there’s more to come as Bravo teases one of the most unexpected crew hookups in Below Deck history. Say what? With so much having happened during the cast’s filming last summer, what exactly have they been up to since?

Captain Glenn Shephard

Daisy kelliher - chief stew.

When Season 3 wrapped, Daisy Kelliher, who returned aboard the Parsifal III as chief stew, took some much-needed vacation time. Kelliher hit up Antigua in the Caribbean , which is where she rang in the New Year and has remained since filming. Considering her ongoing love-hate relationship with fellow castmate Gary King, Daisy remains single for the time being, but she’s certainly not fallen out of love with traveling. Despite appearing to be living the life so many wish they could, Daisy revealed she’s been suffering from severe separation anxiety as she shared just how hectic and demanding her line of work could be in a February 13, 2022 post on Instagram

Gary King - First Officer

Being involved in Bravo drama is nothing new for Gary, especially after his steamy season with Daisy. Well, after wrapping up season three in Menorca, Gary took some time off to reunite with his family; sharing an adorable photo of him and his niece, Ava , on Instagram. The Bravo star is currently in St. Lucia , soaking up the sun, but he hasn’t managed to escape the drama. After sharing a kiss with Daisy Kelliher in the most recent season three trailer, fans have been wondering if he and Daisy are an item. Well, despite the rumors, Gary and Daisy aren’t dating, after confirming to E! News that the two are “just friends.”

Colin McRae - Chief Engineer

Colin McRae has returned to his old stomping grounds aboard the Parsifal III, and considering his love for sailing, fans aren’t surprised to see the Bravo star back on their screens. Since wrapping up last summer’s filming, it didn't take too much time before Colin and fellow Chief Stew Daisy reunited back in December. Since then, Colin has given most of his time to his YouTube channel, Sailing Parlay , which features an array of videos showcasing his sailing adventures. Things are clearly going well for Colin’s online presence, considering he was rewarded with a YouTube 100,000 subscriber count plaque back on February 6. "It has been 4 years of VERY hard work, possibly the hardest of any sailing channel out there that I know of so far, and to reach this milestone is so gratifying for us,” he wrote on Instagram.

Marcos Spaziani - Chef

Say hello to Bravo’s newest chef, Marcos Spaziani. The Venezuela native has been in the industry for over 10 years and is bringing his culinary expertise to the waters of Menorca. It didn’t take much time for Marcos to make a name for himself following season three of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . Spaziani is currently settled in California and has decided to open up his very own restaurant in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Marcos and fellow chef Louis Huh have been working diligently on their newest business venture, ML Eats LA .

Gabriela Barragan - 2nd Stew

Gabriela Barragan reigns from San Diego and while she’s new to the Below Deck crew, she is certainly no stranger to yachting . Barragan has worked as both a stewardess and a deckhand over the course of the last two years and has continued her yachtie life after filming season three of Sailing Yacht . Gabriela spent January and February working a yacht in St. Thomas. After living and working the island life, Gabriela took to Instagram to share that all of her “ wildest dreams are coming true ,” and considering she’s spending her days sailing through crystal clear waters, we don’t blame her.

Ashley Marti - 3rd Stew

Ashley Marti is making her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, and she’s relatively new to the industry. Marti first began working on yachts at the start of the pandemic. Although she reigns from New York , Marti is currently a West Coast gal as she takes in the Los Angeles sun alongside a few of her castmates. Since wrapping up Season 3, Ashley traveled through the United States and the Bahamas and is adamant about returning back aboard the Parsifal III, so Bravo fans just might be seeing more of her in the future.

Kelsi Goglia - Deckhand

Kelsi Goglia is making her Bravo debut this season of Sailing Yacht. After catching the travel bug following a trip to Croatia, Kelsi has been a yachtie ever since, and it doesn’t look like she’s turning back any time soon. She currently resides in San Diego, California, and loves herself some travel, as most Below Deck crew members do. While her romantic life remains a mystery, it’s clear she’s too busy roaming the world to settle down just yet.

Tom Pearson - Deckhand

Growing up on a lake , Tom Pearson is no stranger to the water, but he’s brand new to the Bravo family. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht deckhand was spotted getting his boatmance on, making us all wonder if he’ll be headed toward hot waters. Well, it seems as if Pearson remains single, but his life is anything but boring. After returning home to Windermere, England, Tom has kept busy surfing through the British waters but has taken quite a liking to his new image. The Bravo star has been attending a number of events following his newfound fame, including his most recent appearance in London, England for the launch of a new app on January 20.

The 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3 Trailer Is Here: Watch!

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Glen Shepard

Season 3 of the series is returning Monday, Feb. 21.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back for season 3 with new and familiar faces and sea-level chaos! In the latest trailer for the hit Bravo series, Captain Glenn Shephard is back on the epic Parsifal III,  sailing across the beautiful waters in Menorca, Spain.

“When you go sailing, you never really know what the conditions are going to be like,” Captain Shephard says at the beginning of the trailer before the preview of the chaos aboard the luxury yacht plays out.

Returning this season are chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. Joining the vets on board the yacht are a few new faces, chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, and deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

From the looks of it, this season is set to bring all the action and drama as the crew manages to navigate various hookups (and makeout sessions), power struggles, injuries and a storm that looks like it could take the boat underwater.

In the new trailer, we see that Tom, who isn’t ashamed of showing off his self-proclaimed “dad bod,” is bringing the body shots, and Gabriela, who braves the elements and topples over in the hot tub, is bringing the fun. Meanwhile, Gary is bringing the romance and a “striptease,” and Daisy is all about a fabulous party -- all while managing the expectations of the guests who board the yacht.

However, the season isn’t going to be without some serious drama as the yacht faces strong winds and a storm that could possibly send it underwater, and Chef Marcos gets a severe head injury that could leave the crew without a head chef.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premieres Monday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.

Below Deck Mediterranean Recap: French Fries and Sparklers Make for a Bumpy Ride

Below deck mediterranean.

below deck mediterranean season 3 yacht

The monstrous tequila-swilling charter guests are still having their Great Gatsby -themed dinner when we return to Below Deck Mediterranean this week, which means a few things are certain: Adam will curse over a pan of fish, the centerpiece will reach a level of tackiness super-yachts have known not of, and the signature “Bravo new money” look of wearing super-expensive clothes that somehow look like they came from Mystique Boutique will be on unabashed display.

In keeping with the theme, Hannah’s strapped a black feather to her head and is meandering about the boat saying things in French. The guests are so late to dinner that Adam has to spend his time keeping their cream sauces from congealing on the stovetop instead of making a crew meal, so the deck crew takes out pizza for everyone. João says he can’t believe Adam is allowed to get away with not making him a meal. Given that Adam told us he was “picking my nose” instead of making said crew meal, maybe it’s the crew who lucked out this time around?

The guests finally appear in silver sequined dresses that look like an old Halloween costume you’ve been meaning to throw out for three years. Curiously, the primary has patent-leather nude peep-toe pumps on, which goes unaddressed, though I suppose it’s possible Hannah stuffed wee Conrad under the black tablecloth with a spoon to take care of her scuff marks.

The main course finally goes out after midnight, and a man in a red velvet jacket asks for french fries before eating any of it. Infuriated by the request, Adam says, “Guests like these are the reason I live in a van,” and, “I’m perfectly happy with nothing.” He’s the Marie Kondo of the high seas! Which leads me to think that, even if he marries Brooke, the tablescapes at their wedding won’t include Mardi Gras beads and their initials spelled out in glitter.

Then comes the moment I was most excited for this season based on all the previews so far, and it was extremely anticlimactic, Bravo . Even if that’s how it played out in real life, Bravo is doing shady editing anyway (more on that later), so why didn’t they shadily edit this to make it seem like the huge giant flaming trash can of a disaster the previews did?! After failing to light a birthday candle for the primary’s red cake, Hannah goes downstairs to root around for sparklers and lights them inside the boat before taking them outside. Now, common sense would lead most people to light sparklers outside versus inside , whether they were at land or sea. And Hannah, who’s surely been forced to light sparklers for many a horrendous rich person at many a stupid theme party, should know this! Alas, she sets the fire alarm off, which causes both Captain Sandy and a topless João to stir from their chambers.

Sandy says she’s “fucking pissed” and pulls Hannah away from dinner service to tell her she fucked the fuck up! As exciting as this is, Sandy apologizes the next morning so her anger was of no consequence. Shouldn’t Hannah have been punished with night watch? Or, even worse, night watch with João?

(Can someone also tell me why these guests, who seem like such godawful nightmares, keep inviting Hannah and the crew to L.A.? Is this just condescending rich-person nonsense where they pretend like they actually want to befriend the help, but if they ever did hear from any of them in L.A. they’d cancel long-held plans at the last minute after getting stuck in the traffic on the way home from a blood facial?)

Jamie and Brooke stay up until 4:40 a.m. bagging up the table beads, which means Kasey has to get up early and do breakfast service by herself. Her first order of business is to page “all crew, all crew” on her headset to ask if anyone knows how to make a Bloody Mary, which is exactly the sort of thing a sensible yacht worker would feel enough embarrassment about to secretly ask exactly one person.

Now, here’s where Bravo indulges in really lazy editing. Maybe Kasey’s energy rubbed off on the person tasked with this scene, but as she’s struggling to figure out how to make the Bloody Mary, Bravo cuts to a shot of her cell phone to suggest that she’s Googling it. However, if you stop on the shots of her phone you can clearly see that she was Googling the ingredients for a café long. This suggests she didn’t bother Googling the Bloody Mary ingredients at all, which actually makes her look worse than if she had tried to look them up. Surely if she looked them up she would have had something unfortunate to say like, “I thought celery was a vegetable, not a salt.”

She decides to serve the guest tomato juice with vodka in it, which, next to Adam’s nose pickings, sounds like just about the worst thing you can have first thing in the morning. The guest says he doesn’t like his vodka tomato juice so Kasey wakes up Hannah to tell her that two guests are up and she doesn’t know what goes in a Bloody Mary.

Then the vegan guest orders brown rice for breakfast, which sends Adam into a rage because, I guess, this being a “super-yacht,” he doesn’t stock Uncle Ben’s. Since brown rice takes 45 minutes to cook, he forces Hannah to talk him into having potatoes instead.

Somewhere between all the soda orders and João flopping around on a paddle board like a dead fish we learn Brooke is missing her sister’s wedding. To be on this boat — with these people! It’s the saddest moment of Bravo since like 10 of Liza Vanderpump’s dogs died in one day.

The guests have lunch at a table adorned with a piece of coral and some bright blue aquarium gravel. That night, Brooke decorates the table for the requested Shabbat dinner with flowers and conch shells, which she decides aren’t very Jewish. I will never understand why the girls on this show can’t order flowers and leave them on the table alone rather than turning every dinner setting into a Tampa Bay craft fair.

Down below, Hannah — who has “expensive clothes and expensive taste” — is enraged to learn that Kasey has put the caftans she’s using to seduce Conrad in the dryer. The next day, the primary parades about in a sheer, floor-length leopard caftan before leaving the boat. When she finally gets off she once again invites the crew to let her know if they’re ever in L.A. before insulting them and leaving them a shitty tip.

Now that these people are gone, Hannah has time to hate-LinkedIn search Kasey (or whatever the boat version of LinkedIn is — and it may just be a printed casting sheet from Bravo with a photo of Kasey in a bikini). Brooke wanders into the bridge as Hannah is doing this and they are scandalized to learn that Kasey may as well be a common waitress plucked from any TGIFriday’s because her prior boat waitressing experience consists of a booze cruise and some other vessel that never left the dock. Honestly, I wasn’t as scandalized by this information as I was by the revelation that despite Hannah’s “expensive taste” her preferred dinner décor is a nice big bowl of shells.

Then it’s time for the crew to put on their going-out tops and endure dinner with João before going to an empty neon-lit club. They pour Grey Goose into each other’s mouths straight from the bottle because, I guess, the ice-block shot was occupied.

The episode ends with Brooke and Adam talking about sex, and Hannah and Conrad making out in front of everyone, even though Conrad claims he didn’t want anyone to see. Well, I have a feeling that, though João may be too drunk to remember fist pumping, he’s not too drunk to file away a mental screengrab of that moment to use against Conrad with Captain Sandy later. Judging by next week’s preview, the S.S. Jezabob is coming, and we should all be as scared as that sounds.

Ben Robinson

Below Deck (Seasons 1-4)

Below Deck Mediterranean (Season 1, 4)

Robinson was the O.G. chef on Below Deck, his boastful attitude, killer food, and hot temper setting the template for all of the franchise's chefs to come. During his time on the series, Robinson famously clashed with Chief Stewardess Kate Chastain, the duo's love-hate relationship fueling much of the drama on Below Deck 's early seasons. He left Below Deck after season 2, only to return to the Caribbean in season 3 after chef Leon Walker's exit. He then helped Bravo kick off Below Deck Mediterranean , the second installment into the franchise. Robinson wound up heading back to Below Deck for season 4, and then exiting amid a romance with second stew Emily Warburton-Adams (though the two later split). He last worked in the kitchen on Below Deck Mediterranean season 4, where he came in as a replacement for chef Mila Kolomeitseva. Robinson now makes regular appearances on Below Deck Galley Talk.

Leon Walker

Below Deck (Season 3)

Walker didn't make it through a complete season of Below Deck , exiting with only a few charters left to go. His departure came after a fire started in the galley — though he blamed it on his rival Chastain, Captain Lee Rosbach ultimately pinned it on him. And while Leon may not have lasted until the end, his love of beef cheeks (and his inability to seemingly make anything else but them) lives on as one of Below Deck 's most memorable punchlines.

Below Deck Mediterranean (Seasons 2-3)

Below Deck Sailing Yacht (Season 1)

Glick's talent in the kitchen was never a problem, the California surfer churned out some of the most praised food in the history of the franchise (that is, when he stuck to the preference sheet, as #OnionGate proved). Where Glick struggled? His relationships. In his first season on Below Deck Mediterranean , Glick was involved in a love triangle with Lead Deckhand Malia White — whom he met before the show began, but kept from producers — and Bosun Wesley Walton. She eventually chose Walton, much to Glick's anger (he actually wound up hitting Walton during an intense night out). He mostly stayed out of trouble for his second Med season, but found himself in another crew-mance in Below Deck Sailing Yacht , when he and chief stew Jenna MacGillivray began hooking up. Their relationship didn't last, Glick saying that it was "very, very difficult for him." Viewers, meanwhile, criticized him for his bad attitude and inflated sense of self-worth. After 12 years living and working on the open ocean, Glick declared he was "f---ing over it," telling Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that he was "ready to live his life on land."

Below Deck (Season 5)

Burns' culinary skills kept the guests happy on season 5 of Below Deck . But outside of the galley, the chef wasn't as successful. First, he struck out in love with stew Brianna Adekeye in a disastrous beach date. Then he tried to rekindle his romance with his ex-girlfriend, whom he had broken up before the start of the charter season, but she rejected his advances. At least the charter guests always liked his food?

Adrian Martin

Below Deck (Season 6)

Martin was a breath of fresh air compared to previous chefs, the yoga-loving, meditating, Saint Marten native stayed centered during his days in the galley. But his free-flowing nature had a downside, when sexually charged comments he made towards Laura Betancourt crossed the line. Martin left the show at the end of season after taking a gig in New York City as a private chef.

Mila Kolomeitseva

Below Deck Mediterranean (Season 4)

Perhaps the most controversial chef in Below Deck history, Kolomeitseva was fired by Captian Sandy Yawn during the season's third charter. Kolomeitseva shocked viewers from the beginning of her time on the charter yacht, when she licked raw steak and wanted to serve guests nachos made with jarred salsa and canned corn. She struggled to make pancakes from a box and served canned seafood on the second charter, which led Captain Sandy to take the guests out for their final lunch and put third stewardess Anastasia Surmava — an inexperienced chef — on lead for dinner service. And while it had nothing to do with her firing, Kolomeitseva also made homophobic comments during a night out, leading to no love lost from her crew in her departure. As she left, she said she won't give up cooking. "Of course it makes me feel awful," Kolomeitseva said on the show. "People like me who have big egos sometimes have to be put down to earth a little bit. But it makes me feel like I want to work even harder."

Kevin Dobson

Below Deck (Season 7)

Dobson hit rough seas during his time on Below Deck , thanks to ongoing tensions with Chastain. The two could not seem to get along all season, frustrations between them spilling over when Chastain had Dobson present a birthday cake to guests well after the primary charter guests (and birthday girl) had gone to bed. By the finale party, things took a turn for the worse. The New Zealand native told Chastain he didn't like her and kicked sand in her face. He apologized at the reunion, but didn't return for another season.

Hindrigo "Kiko" Lorran

Below Deck Mediterranean (Season 5)

Lorran made it halfway through season 5 of Below Deck Mediterranean before Captain Sandy made the call to can him. Things started to go downhill for Lorran when he was criticized for his plating and organizational skills. He tried his best to step it up, but fumbled when guests asked for a dinner built around Las Vegas, a place he'd never been and was not familiar with. Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier suggested truffle fries and nachos, which Loran paired with fried chicken and shrimp cocktail. Ultimately, the fried food was a fumble, and Captian Sandy fired him. He did get redemption, though, staying until the end of the charter and impressing the guests with a fabulous dinner. "I made the guests happy in the end," he told BravoTV.com's Daily Dish, after his exit. "I felt great."

Tom Checketts

Checketts was brought in to replace Lorran for the second half of Below Deck Mediterranean 's fifth season. He came in with a connection to the cast, dating White, the show's bosun. Their romance was surely put to the test by Checketts' arrival. From the jump, he was frustrated and flustered, snapping at stewardesses and stressing about provisions. When White could calm him and give him some support in the galley, Checketts' food was mostly always praised by guests. But sadly, her involvement came at her own detriment, leading to conflict between White and Captian Sandy. All in all, Checketts help saved The Wellington crew from disaster, but his relationship with White didn't last much longer. After the season wrapped, the two announced they had gone their separate ways.

Rachel Hargrove

Below Deck (Season 8-Present)

Hargrove's food has earned rave reviews from every charter guest. Even Captain Lee praised her as one of the best yacht chefs he's ever worked with! Originally from Tampa, Florida, Hargrove is predominantly self-taught, though has honed her craft through the years studying and cooking in restaurants all around the world. In the kitchen, she takes no prisoners. And below deck, she's the same way — her outspoken personality and no-nonsense attitude lead to clashes with everyone from First Officer Eddie Lucas to Captain Lee himself, whom she famously cursed at before quitting before a charter in season 8 (she came back the next day, after cooling down).

Natasha De Bourg

Below Deck Sailing Yacht (Season 2)

De Bourg's time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht may be best remembered for #PitaGate, a name hilariously given to the controversy that erupted after she seemingly exaggerated the number of pita bread slices she made for one meal. It caused tension between her and Chief Stewardess Daisy Kelliher, one of the many kitchen-related culinary conflicts the two encountered throughout the season. In the end, they were able to leave the show friends. And Kelliner had the last laugh, starting a podcast called Pita Party with fellow stews Alli Dore and Dani Soares.

Mathew Shea

Below Deck Mediterranean (Season 6)

Shea made a splash from the second he walked into season 6 of Below Deck Mediterranean, the Rhode Island native backing out on the first meal due to a health condition that he later admitted was fueled by anxiety. Drama followed him all season long, though not in the galley, where he consistently produced incredible food (even after burning half his fingers off). Instead, he often butted heads with Chief Stew Katie Flood and feuded with his crew mates — including stew Lexi Wilson, who wound up leaving the show after she told him during an intense argument that his parents "should've aborted you." Since the season wrapped, Shea's continued to have conflict with his costars, calling Captain Sandy at the reunion "one of the worst captains I've ever worked with in my 15 years on boats."

Marcos Spaziani

Below Deck Sailing Yacht (Season 3)

Before stepping on the Parsifal III, Spaziani had been working as a chef for 10 years, after attending culinary school in Venezuela. Cooking a combination of gourmet Venezuelan, Italian, Korean, and American food, Spaziani's culinary creations were mostly well received by charter guests — even if his portions needed to be a little bit bigger. But the thing that set him apart from others? His incredible endurance and dedication to his job, on display when he kept cooking after accidentally knocking his head and scrapping off a layer of his scalp (eww).

Ryan McKeown

Below Deck Down Under (Season 1)

McKeown has all the makings of a classic Below Deck chef; super talented, super hard-working, and super arrogant. The Philadelphia native didn't waste any time clashing with Chief Stewardess Aesha Scott over time maintenance, and quickly let guests know he wouldn't be letting them dictate his menus. "My style of cooking is take the ingredients and let them shine," he said in the premiere episode.

The Crew Get Candid During The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Reunion

Andy Cohen hosts the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Reunion, asking all of the hard hitting questions fans want answers to.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 followed the crew aboard the Parsifal III as they sailed across the Mediterranean, navigating the waters, relationships, and charter guests alike. Host Andy Cohen mediated the reunion between this season's crew who joined via Zoom from near and far.

While fans readied themselves for a drama-filled event, the season's villain, Ashley, failed to make an appearance, noting she wasn't interested in taking part. Despite disappointment, that may have been a good thing for a jealous Ashley Marti given her love interest, Gary King, joined the call from Daisy Kelliher's apartment.

Spoiler Alert: The rest of this article contains spoilers from Episode 18: 'Reunion'

Tom Pearson Reflects on His Firing

One of the more pivotal moments of the season was Tom's firing. While on night watch, the wind reached 30+ knots and the ship began to drag anchor, posing a potentially dangerous situation for the ship, crew, and guests. Tom failed to alert Glenn and Gary of the matter prior to the alarm sounding, leading to a lack of trust between him and his higher ups.

Related: The Real Reason Reality Show Celebrity Boxing Didn't Last Long

Captain Glenn scolded Tom for not having been more proactive in the situation, an accusation which Tom defended himself against. Realizing he may not be able to get through to Tom, Glenn decided the best course of action was to let Tom go .

Looking back, Tom admits, he was "acting on emotion," and "didn't realize [he] had a lot of growing up to do." Tom accepted full responsibility for his actions - or lack thereof - and admits that he's learned from his mistakes and is willing to grow.

Gabriela Admits She Wouldn't Have Quit Had It Not Been For Ashley

Chef Marcos Spaziani joined the reunion from his car in Los Angeles, popping in to say hello before heading back to work. Marcos revealed that since the show's filming, he's opened both a restaurant and bar in LA, and has a Koreatown restaurant on the way.

Before Marcos logged off, Andy asked about the tension between him and Gabriela. Both parties admitted they were not amicable from the jump, but have since resolved their issues and remain cordial.

Marcos and Gabriela Below Deck Sailing Yacht

However, while Gabriela was able to set aside her differences with Chef Marcos, it was Ashley who she was unable to make a peace offering with. From the moment Daisy dubbed Gabriela second stew, Ashley held a grudge against her coworker. Rather than letting bygones be bygones, Ashley made it her mission to disobey Gabriela's orders and complain to Daisy about her dislike for her fellow stew.

Ultimately, Gabriela chose to remove herself from the Parsifal III, citing mental health issues due to the drinking, the drama, and namely, Ashley. Andy asked Gabriela whether she would have left the ship had Ashley not been there, to which Gabriela replied, "No, the experience...was bad because of Ashley."

Gabriela Ashley and Daisy Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

Well, Gabriela, you're not alone in feeling that way. Since the onset of the season, it was Gary who got too close to the fire with Ashley...and Gabriela, Daisy, and Scarlett.

So, What's The Allure Of Gary King?

Throughout the season, Gary managed to kiss each of the 4 stews who boarded the Parsifal III, though Daisy maintains that she doesn't remember having kissed Gary. However, Ashley was Gary's first "boatmance" as Andy called it, leading to a subsequent and continuous wave of jealousy each time Gary strayed toward another woman.

Related: Exclusive: How Too Hot to Handle Shaped Jaz Holloway's Dating Life

While Gary, backed up by Scarlett, doesn't feel he led Ashley on, other crew members like Kelsie and Colin are of the opposite camp, despite it being "unintentional." Among other things, Gary also addressed accusations that he was assaulted by Ashley , clearing her name and affirming that he did not, in fact, feel violated by her actions.

Ashley and Gary Below Deck Sailing Yacht

A big question here, though, is what makes Gary so attractive to these ladies? Scarlett calls Gary "charming and lighthearted" while Gabriela commends him for his confidence and "BDE" (big d*ck energy). Even Daisy admits that Gary, who is sitting in the next room over, is charming.

Daisy and Gary Kiss Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

Speaking of Daisy and Gary, fans want to know - are they a thing? Unfortunately for the hopefuls, the two say they're just friends, though Gary refers to Daisy as "gorgeous" and says he has a soft spot for her. By show of hands, the men of the Parsifal III admit they think Daisy has her eyes on Gary. As for Gary's affections toward Daisy, it seems the whole crew, Captain Glenn included, think there may be unaddressed feelings there.

Though only time will tell, it seems the Gaisy chapter is still open . Fans are keeping their fingers crossed for the two lovebirds, hoping their favorite TV non-couple will make their relationship official.

Below deck season 3 cast: where are they now.

The Below Deck season 3 cast consists of many people who are still in the yachting industry and some that are not. Find out what happened to the crew.

  • Captain Lee Rosbach is the only original and longest-running cast member of Below Deck, still working as a yacht captain despite health issues.
  • Leon Walker, the chef from Below Deck season 3, was fired for mistreatment of crew and causing a fire. He is still working as a chef.
  • Kate Chastain, who left the yachting industry after Below Deck season 7, is now a co-host and producer on Bravo's Chatroom and recently gave birth to a baby boy.

The Below Deck season 3 cast consisted of several people still in the yachting industry and some who have left. Season 3 aired in 2015 and was one of the most infamous seasons from the Bravo series. The season took place on the yacht Eros in The Bahamas and included some iconic Below Deck moments, such as Eddie's boatmance with Rocky and the return of Chef Ben.

Since Below Deck season 3, the series has aired another seven seasons, including just as many hookups and drama among the crew members. While many cast members only lasted a season or two, some remained cornerstones of the show for years. However, the cast and events that took place during season 3 are still talked about. So, where is the cast of Below Deck season 3 now?

Captain Lee Rosbach

Captain Lee remains the only original and longest-running cast member on Below Deck . He works as a yacht captain and was most recently featured in season 10, but he had to leave due to health issues. After a couple of months, he returned to relieve interim Captain Sandy Yawn from her duties.

Leon Walker

Leon Walker was the initial Below Deck season 3 chef onboard Eros, known for his terrible treatment of the chief stew, Kate Chastain. He was later fired for how he treated the crew and for causing a fire in the galley due to his dirty stove. Leon is still working as a chef and was rumored to join the spin-off Below Deck Down Under in Australia, but this never came to fruition.

Ben Robinson

Chef Ben returned to Below Deck season 4 as the yacht chef. He also appeared in Below Deck Mediterranean season 1 alongside Hannah Ferrier. Ben now lives in Fort Lauderdale with his fiancée, Kiara Cabral, and works as a private chef. He remains one of the most popular former cast members on Below Deck and often appears on Galley Talk alongside Kate Chastain.

Kate Chastain

Despite many years as an integral cast member, Kate left the yachting industry behind after a tumultuous Below Deck season 7. She went on to be one of the co-hosts and producers of Bravos Chatroom but left after less than a year. Kate still keeps up with the Below Deck franchise and is very outspoken about her thoughts on the show. She gave birth to a baby boy, Sullivan Cay, in May 2023. Some are convinced the baby's father is Chef Ben, but both have refuted this rumor, and Kate has kept the baby daddy's identity secret.

Amy Johnson

Second stew Amy Johnson left Below Deck after season 3 but continued to work in the yachting industry. However, she officially left yachting after she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Ellis, in July 2020. The couple tied the knot in October 2020, and her brother Kelley Johnson helped with the photography.

Raquel “Rocky” Dakota

After Rocky Dakota left Below Deck , she continued to work a few stew jobs here and there. In December 2016, she moved to Hawaii and now works as a surfer and competitive national diver. The former stew is also in a relationship with a man named Mark, and they have been together for over four years. Unfortunately, Rocky did go through some hardships, as she lost her younger sister, Sophia, in 2017 in a car accident.

Eddie Lucas

Eddie Lucas returned to Below Deck season 8 as the bosun following his last stint on the show during season 3. The reality star not only works as a bosun but also works in Maryland at the Moran Towing Corporation, where he docks all the ships that come into the port. He's also involved in Rhythm & Sails as a captain.

Connie Arias

When Connie first joined the show for season 3, she was a green deckhand. She continues to work in the yachting industry and even owns her own boat management company in Melbourne, Florida (via BravoTV ). Connie got engaged after Below Deck and wanted Captain Lee to officiate the wedding, but it's unclear if she and fiancé Scott have tied the knot or broken up.

Emile Kotze

After Emile Kotze's time on Below Deck , he moved back to South Africa. The former yachtie bills himself as an entrepreneur and works with travel agency TRN Global. A devoted yogi, he also revealed in July 2020 that he was four years sober and hasn't touched any alcohol or drugs since.

What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5? Here’s what we know

Captain Glenn Shephard Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast photo

What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5? That’s the question on fans’ minds after it was revealed Below Deck Med Season 9 will air following Below Deck Season 11.

Ever since Below Deck Sailing Yacht premiered on Bravo, it has followed the OG show.

That’s the way it’s been for the past four years, except for last year when Below Deck Down Under Season 2 aired after Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

So why all of a sudden is there a switch in the schedule, especially since Below Deck Med Season 8 just ended in January?

Let’s take a look at what we know.

What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5?

The reason for the change-up likely has to do with the sexual misconduct allegations that came out against Gary King after Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht was filmed.

Leaked photos revealed that Daisy Kelliher and Gary were back for another stint aboard Parsifal III with Captain Glenn. The two of them returning was music to fans’ ears as they helped make Below Deck Sailing Yacht a huge success with Colin MacRae.

However, a couple of weeks later, news broke that a member of the production team came out via Rolling Stone to accuse Gary of unwanted sexual advances and harassment. Gary was soon removed from the BravoCon 2023 list, making clear Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 could be in trouble.

Unlike when Peter Hunziker was fired by Bravo for a racist post and then edited out of the season, Gary has not been fired from the show. Plus, editing Gary out really wouldn’t be an option because he plays such a pivotal role and makes a good story even if fans don’t like him.

All of this means that what would have been Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 could be scrapped. Should that be the case, a new season of the sailing show won’t air for a long time.

Then again, maybe the powers that be are still trying to figure out how to save the season with Gary, and they just need more time.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans share thoughts on schedule change

A Reddit thread devoted to the Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht swap had fans buzzing.

“I would absolutely be okay with a delay if it means not having to watch Gary. I’m not sure I’ll even watch if he’s on it, especially since Colin isn’t. And Glenn the enabler has went from being best captain to #3 now…,” wrote one user.

Another admitted to liking the sailing show with Daisy but could do without Gary and would be fine if Season 5 never aired.

“AS IT SHOULD BE. Bravo needs to learn- you hire racists, you hire sexual abusers, you’re going to lose money. The end.” was another remark.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Reddit comments

A different user doesn’t think the season will air and noticed Daisy switched her Instagram bio, so that may be a clue that Season 5 will never see the light of day. There was also speculation that Below Deck spin-offs will soon be combined for money reasons.

“That is a possibility or they’re still editing the heck out of it to reduce his role as much as possible but that has got to be a monumental task. I doubt they’d scrub an entire season but maybe more things have come out behind the scenes we’re unaware of and they have to do what they have to do especially with all the negative publicity they’re getting with Andy Cohen lately.” declared another user.

More Below Deck Sailing Yacht comments

Along with Below Deck Sailing Yacht being pushed back, Below Deck Down Under fate seems to be up in the air. As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Captain Jason Chambers asked for fans’ help with Season 3.

Be sure to keep checking back for more news on th e Below Deck franchise.

Below Deck Med Season 9 premieres on Monday, June 3 at 9/8c on Bravo. Below Deck Sailing Yacht is currently on hiatus on Bravo.

Everything to Know About ‘Below Deck Med’ Season 9: From Aesha’s Return to Captain Sandy’s Proposal

Everything to Know About 'Below Deck Med' Season 9: From Aesha's Return to Captain Sandy's Proposal

Fans are getting the newest season of Below Deck Mediterranean sooner than expected — and the new episodes promise plenty of bombshells.

Bravo announced in April 2024 that Below Deck Mediterranean would be airing once Below Deck season 11 comes to an end. The upcoming season hinted at another cast shakeup with Captain Sandy Yawn being joined by fan-favorite Aesha Scott , who was previously a stew on several seasons of the spinoff.

Below Deck Mediterranean ‘s return comes five months after the previous season wrapped up on Bravo. Season 9 is set once again on the Mustique but this time the charters will take place in Greece instead of Italy.

Viewers have high expectations after season 8 set the bar with drama. The eighth season kicked off with bosun Ruan Irving being accused of forging his paperwork, which led to Below Deck Down Under alum Luka Brunton to get promoted in his place.

Meanwhile in the interior, chief stew Tumi Mhlongo and Natalya Scudder got off to a rough start. The tension continued to build — with Kyle Viljoen getting caught in the middle — until Natalya left and was replaced with Lily Davison . Kyle subsequently got into a fight with Max Salvador as well after a crew night out.

The crew’s personal lives were just as over the top with Luka striking up a flirty friendship with Natalya before her departure. The twosome, however, stayed in touch and things only got worse when Luka started hooking up with Jessika Asai .

After watching the season back, Sandy exclusively told Us Weekly that she was determined to give everyone grace and patience .

“[I would work with] all of them because it’s about giving people opportunities to change. How do you know if people want to change? You give them the opportunity to show you that they’re going to change,” she explained in December 2023. “Why would they change if no one gives them the opportunity? Of course I would give them all the opportunity to show me that they will change.”

The captain added: “Every season comes with its surprises. Listen, imagine working and living together with the same. It’s not easy. So I give them a lot of credit for the staying power in the middle of it all.”

Season 9 is expected to feature a series first with an appearance from Sandy’s girlfriend (and now-fiancée) Leah Shafer . Will there be drama.

The trailer hinted at the show’s ups and downs with Aesha referring to something as “the hardest management situation” she’s ever been in. Meanwhile, the chef appeared confident in his self-taught skills but at least one guest referred to his food as just “OK.”

Sandy was also forced to lay down the law when she is seen telling two crew members that they “need to figure it out” or they are both gone.

Hit US TV series Below Deck Mediterranean returns to Bravo TV at 9pm EST tonight for its third season. Captain Sandy Yawn will be back at the helm, but this time around the series will be set in Italy  aboard the 54m/178ft motor yacht ‘Talisman Maiton’ .

Providing a rare, if slightly exaggerated, glimpse into the running of a private yacht charter , Below Deck Mediterranean will be hitting the screen after the success of its two previous seasons and the original, Caribbean-based Below Deck, which has run for four seasons.

Later today, when the Mediterranean version airs, fans can catch Captain Sandy Yawn leading her crew and treating her guests along the Amalfi Coast in Italy , an extremely popular charter destination.

Named after an island in Thailand, Talisman Maiton is this season’s superyacht of choice. Unlike other yachts featured on the show, which took on a false identity, she will be appearing under her real name.

Launched by  Turquoise  in 2006 and refitted in 2014, she is the largest yacht to ever appear on Below Deck or Below Deck Mediterranean, and she is jam-packed with an array of luxurious amenities. For more details, read Inside Below Deck Mediterranean Season 3 yacht ‘Tailisman Maiton’ .

Among her standout features are a sundeck spa pool, a state-of-the-art gymnasium and a dedicated observation deck, which allows charter guests to properly immerse themselves in their surroundings.

Also impressive is her timeless and elegant interior. A number of social areas are scattered throughout and they are sure to feature throughout the course of the Bravo TV series as the show captures charterers living the luxury yachting lifestyle.

It will also provide a deeper insight into the crew dynamics. Alongside Captain Sandy Yawn, chief stewardess Hannah Ferrier and chef Adam Glick will also be back, joined by a whole bunch of new faces as they navigate the Italian coastline.

Guaranteed to totally grip viewers, the highly-anticipated Below Deck Mediterranean is sure to keep fans of the franchise satisfied until the original Below Deck returns for a fifth season in September of this year.

Below Deck 's Captain Kerry Titheradge Fires 3rd Season 11 Crewmember

Another member of the st. david crew has set sail. find out why captain kerry titheradge let another season 11 yachtie go during the bravo series' april 22 episode..

Chef  Anthony Iracane is saying bon voyage to Below Deck .

After cracking under pressure during multiple meal preps, the season 11 cook was fired by Captain Kerry Titheradge during the Bravo series' April 22 episode.

The French foodie got the boot after not having any pork alternatives for the show's most recent primary guest, serving a vegetable adverse vacationer salad and messing up another guest's late night request for lobster grilled cheese. The culinary mistakes resulted in the crew receiving their lowest tip of the season with just $17,250 to split among them.

As a disappointed Chief Stew Fraser Olender lamented in a confessional afterwards, "This is embarrassing. Is it because of the food? I'm gonna say yes."

Capt. Kerry then called Anthony to the bridge to reveal his fate aboard the super-yacht.

"I think you're an incredible chef, you're food is absolutely amazing," Kerry told him. "But you're starting to kind of nose-dive. I'm seeing guests not satisfied with elements of what you're doing."

"You're not flourishing here," he added. "If I keep you here any longer, I'm setting you up for disaster. I'm doing you a favor."

The news devastated Anthony, who insisted he tried his best to keep up with the guests' many demands.

"This is the first time I get fired," he told Kerry, "first time ever in my life."

In a confessional, Anthony admitted, "I'm like shocked. That's not real. It's not possible."

However, Kerry stood by his decision.

"It's heartbreaking," he expressed in a confessional. "I don't like this at all. The crew are starting to notice where the chef is failing us. If I keep this guy any longer, morale will be terrible, and I can't have that."

Later, Fraser approached Anthony in the kitchen and found him in tears. The emotional moment made the Chief Stew question previously encouraging Kerry to let Anthony go.

"To see him in so much pain for something that I feel like I aided is really difficult," Fraser shared. "I'll love that boy forever. But right now, the job is more important and he's not right for the job right now."

Before disembarking the ship, Anthony told Fraser, "I did the best I can. It wasn't enough."

Anthony's firing comes on the heels of Bosun Jared Woodin getting fired for unprofessional behavior earlier in the season. Plus, Stew Cat Baugh willingly left the ship after admittedly struggling with the job and dealing with personal issues back home.

See Anthony's replacement arrive when Below Deck airs Monday at 9 p.m. on Bravo. And Keep reading to look back at the most dramatic Below Deck firings ever.

If there's one thing to learn from Camille Lamb 's Below Deck firing, it's to not slack off on the job. That's exactly why the season 10 stew was let go by substitute Captain Sandy Yawn , as Chief Stew Fraser Olender continued to criticize Camille's behavior on board.

From being caught drinking while preparing for a new charter to partying at late hours and more, Fraser informed Captain Sandy that he had reached his "last straw."

"She's the common denominator in all of this," said Captain Sandy. "Great girl, great personality, but at the same time, we have to do what's best for the boat."

Below Deck Adventure 's Kyle Dickard was let go just three episodes into the reality franchise's latest series—which premiered in November 2022. After picking fights with his fellow deckhand Nathan Morley —as well as kissing crew mates in front of guests—Kyle was offered by Captain Kerry Titheradge the opportunity to resign so that his firing would not end up on his personal record.

Kyle took the Captain up on his offer and left the boat after just one charter.

Captain Sandy let bosun Raygan Tyler go during season seven of Below Deck Mediterranean ,  not only for causing the boat to  take a small hit while docking, but also for not stepping up to the plate as a leader.

But Captain Sandy didn't want her firing to discourage the bosun, as she told Raygan, "If I had the time and I wasn't running a boat this size, I would train you. I would teach you."

In addition to onboard romances and failing to follow directions , one of the biggest reasons behind stew Elizabeth Frankini 's Below Deck firing was her infamous laundry room accident , during which made a toxic mess when combining bleach and laundry soap.

"Unfortunately, I didn't know that was so toxic and I feel so bad about it," she told E! News of the incident in December 2020 . "You know, I do feel really bad, especially 'cause Francesca [ Rubi ] did say, 'Take it outside.'"

The bosun and stew were both fired by Captain Jason Chambers for inappropriate behavior after a night of partying with their fellow yachties.

Luke Jones was let go after getting into Stew Margot Sisson 's bed naked while she was drunk and unconscious. Laura Bileskaine also made unwanted advances on Deckhand Adam Kodra despite him telling her he was not interested in hooking up.

Jason made it known that consent was a must, and sent both crewmembers packing.

Tensions between stew Lexi Wilson and Chef Mathew Shea came to a head during an explosive dinner fight on season six of Below Deck Mediterranean , during which Lexi told Matt that his parents "should've aborted you." That was the last straw for Captain Sandy, who fired her not long after the incident.

Deckhand Tom Pearson said "bon voyage" to Below Deck Sailing Yacht after getting let go by Captain Glenn Shephard . Tom hit his last strike with the Captain after failing to report that the boat's anchor was dragging during heavy winds one night, causing a potential safety risk for everyone on board.

"It had to be done. It was such a grievous thing that he dropped the ball there, he had to go, and we had to just be man down and live with it, you know?" Captain Glenn said of the decision  on Watch What Happens Live. "So, obviously, you don't want to do that, but yeah, it had to happen."

Some people are picky eaters, but Below Deck Down Under' s Ryan McKeown was quite the picky chef, as he would judge guests'  food requests  and fail to take  criticism from Captain Jason Chambers , as well.

Perhaps Ryan's Below Deck exit is one of the franchise's most memorable, as he mooned Jason and viewers on his way off the boat.

Below Deck Down Under stew Magda Ziomek 's firing was another case of slacking on the job. After constantly being on her phone texting or video chatting with her boyfriend, Chief Stew Aesha Scott decided to replace Magda before the end of the charter season.

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Peter Hunziker was fired from the series in June 2020 after he shared an offensive post on social media.

"Peter Hunziker of Below Deck Mediterranean has been terminated for his racist post," Bravo wrote in a statement at the time. "Bravo and 51 Minds are editing the show to minimize his appearance for subsequent episodes."

Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier was let go by Captain Sandy on Below Deck Mediterranean after boson Malia White discovered her co-star possessed undeclared Valium and a vape pen, the former of which Hannah claimed was for her anxiety.

"If I could do it all over again, I would've just declared them as soon as I came on board," Hannah stated in an August 2020 interview with E! News. "It was definitely not something that was intentional. I wasn't trying to hide anything.

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Delaney Evans left just as quickly as she arrived. After initially being brought on during season six to help out Chief Stew Katie Flood , Katie determined that Delaney was doing more harm than good, choosing to let her go after just one charter.

"I think she was overwhelmed with the situation, and I think that, you know, in her mind, the best solution to the situation was just to go back to what they had before," Delaney told Bravo Insider of Katie's decision. "I think she was just overwhelmed with everything that was going on and all the feedback she was getting."

Deckhand Shane Coopersmith was a bit in over his head on season eight of Below Deck , as he was let go for failing to know basic skills, reporting late for duty and taking naps on the job.

Chaos in the kitchen led to Captain Lee Rosbach letting Chef Leon Walker go on season three of Below Deck . After an oven fire broke out , Lee placed the blame on Chief Stew Kate Chastain but was ultimately the one sent home.

Like several of the franchise's stars, Below Deck 's Chris Brown  was fired  during season five for failing to fully perform his duties. After being let go by Captain Lee, Chris shared some parting words as he left the boat, stating , "Who gives a s--t?"

Chef Mila Kolomeitseva was fired by Captain Sandy on season four of Below Deck Mediterranean after failing to use her cooking skills to produce top-quality food for guests—including some not-so-nice nachos .

"Of course it makes me feel awful," Mila said of her departure . "People like me who have big egos sometimes have to be put down to earth a little bit. But it makes me feel like I want to work even harder."

Sometimes people just don't work well together. That's exactly why Captain Lee fired Chandler Brooks during season six of Below Deck , telling the boson, "I don't think it's a good fit."

"Amidst a saga of delayed provisions, managing a complicated interior department and a medical emergency, Aesha strives to ensure the guests are treated to a five-star service experience. Chef Jono, a self-taught culinary architect, quickly learns he has high expectations to fill to prove his culinary capabilities to the guests," the press release continues. "Meanwhile, the deck crew faces its own hurdles and must learn that communication is key in order to successfully get through the season.

Though Aesha begins the charter season in an excited mood (even telling Captain Sandy that it's her "homecoming" to be returning to the Med, and that she had "butterflies" before getting on the boat), things soon become challenging for her on board Mustique .

"This is actually the hardest management situation I've ever had," Aesha laments in one moment from the trailer.

Her difficult management situation could be about a boatmance, as "two crewmates find themselves with their sights set on a mutual love interest."
