Van der Valk shipyard is a Dutch ship builder that specializes in building 18 to 45 meter innovative and efficient semi-custom yachts. The in-house team is responsible for building, outfitting and finishing first-class aluminum hulls on site in Waalwijk, in the southern province of North Brabant just an hour away from Amsterdam. The shipyard consists of an office and five state-of-the-art production halls. The yard offers their semi-custom series of motor yachts, with the layout, interior and style of yacht offered as “custom-built” according to clients special needs and wishes.

Van der Valk yachts builds a series of 5 different models of yachts between 65 feet to 132 feet. The shipyard builds a wide range of semi-custom and custom steel and aluminum hulled yachts. The most recent addition to the Van de Valk line up is the Beachclub model with delivery available within 12 months.

RECENT PROJECT - WEEKENDER

Van der Valk has received an exciting commission to build a distinctive 52-foot weekender on behalf of Dutch company Waterdream. The California is a bespoke motoryacht with a radical yet at the same time timeless design from the boards of Vripack. Unlike the vast majority of dayboats, the California will be built in aluminum, offering a versatile range of layout options as well as enhanced safety and comfort.

Her top speed is 14.4 kn and her cruising speed is 13.5 kn and her power comes from two Volvo Penta diesel engines. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms, with 6 crew members waiting on their every need. She has a gross tonnage of 298.0 GT and a 7.7 m beam.

She was designed by Guido De Groot , who has designed 28 other superyachts in the BOAT Pro database.

The naval architecture was developed by Ginton Naval Architects (46 other superyachts architected) and Diana Yacht Design (84 other superyachts architected), and the interior of the yacht was designed by Carla Guilhem Design - she is built with a Teak deck, a Aluminium hull, and Aluminium superstructure.

The 26m/85'4" motor yacht 'Nicostasia' was built by Van der Valk in the Netherlands. Her interior is styled by Dutch designer design house Guido de Groot Design and she was delivered to her owner in June 2018. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Guido de Groot Design.

Nicostasia has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (10V 2000 M93) 1,502hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 18 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots. Her water tanks store around 2,000 Litres of fresh water.
