The luxury yacht MIRAGE was designed by naval architect De Voogt, launched by the famous Feadship shipyard in 1979, and superbly refitted in 2020. The hull is a solid steel displacement build, measuring 53.01 m (173' 11") and can accommodate 12 guests in 8 deluxe cabins, while she has a professional crew of 14.

VIDEO OF MIRAGE Motor yacht MIRAGE has a unique and inviting interior with an elegant country house charm. Her salon features wide teak wood flooring, white panels and contemporary subtle cream soft furnishings, ample seating areas make the space ideal for entertaining or simply relaxing. The salon flows through to the formal dining space while remaining a separate feature. Yacht MIRAGE offers a generous deck plan; the aft deck features an alfresco dining option and cocktail seating, ideal for enjoying a sundowner at the custom-built high gloss wet bar. Above the main deck, the sundeck is roomy and open with an alfresco dining option, removable Bimini cover and extra comfortable lounge chairs. A drop-down projector screen creates an outdoor movie theatre under the stars. A third deck is slightly more intimate and offers chaise lounges. The Master Stateroom is on the main deck and full beam of the yacht, with a cool-toned crushed velvet effect carpet, king size walk around bed, light wood furnishings, desk, lounge, crisp white planked ceilings and boasting spa-like en-suite facility with shower and tub, space is both roomy and inviting. A VIP cabin is on the main deck and features a walk around king size bed, lounge space, mirrored wall and en-suite facilities with spa shower. Below decks are a further two double guest cabins and two twin guest cabins with en-suite facilities. 4 Pullman berths are available for additional guests.

Colin was born in the UK and grew up in South Africa. Colin sailed professionally for ten years until 1998, and then spent the next 7 years running various sailing boats in South East Asia. Colin’s next command was on a Perini-Navi in 2005, followed by Captain on M/Y PASSION for 7 years. Colin is a PADI Divemaster and holds his MCA 3000 ton Captain’s license. He is a RYA Jet Ski and Level II Powerboat Instructor and as a result, M/Y MIRAGE can issue jet ski licenses for the duration of a trip. As Captain of M/Y MIRAGE, Colin combines his extensive experience and qualifications to guarantee a fun-filled vacation with a well-developed sense of safety and security. Colin is always upbeat and great fun to be around and ensures that his crew all maintain the same positive attitude that he does. He places strong emphasis on planning, organization and training to ensure impeccable vessel preparation and presentation. Steve Emmerich

Steve was born in Germany and grew up in South Africa. Steve is an accomplished yachtsman, completing his first trans-Atlantic crossing as skipper on his parent’s catamaran aged just 23. This experience ignited a passion to embark on a yachting career and 25 years on, Steve continues to be inspired by the many different aspects of yachting. In 1996 Steve became 2nd Officer on M/Y LADY MOURA, at the time one of the largest yachts in the world, and was promoted to 1st Officer in 2002. As rotational Captain of M/Y MIRAGE, Steve uses his wealth of experience and passion for his job to ensure you have the best possible time onboard. Steve leads by example and he and his crew always give 110%. He is brilliantly personable and is always on hand to give advice on itineraries/ anchorages/ excursions etc. Steve works diligently to plan and carry out your perfect trip. Her onboard carbon offsetting programme enables eco-friendly cruising and zero speed stabilisers ensure MIRAGE offers guests a smooth onboard experience.

Ideal for larger charter groups, MIRAGE has 8 ensuite staterooms and is capable of welcoming up to 12 guests onboard for charter.

Situated on the main deck, the stylish owner’s suite features a king-size bed plus a spa-inspired bathroom finished in luxurious marble. The suite also features satellite TV and a Sonos sound system. A beautiful VIP cabin is also located on the main deck and is equipped with a lounge area and ensuite bathroom.

The remaining guest accommodation can be found on the lower deck and includes 4 twin cabins and 2 doubles.

For static charters, MIRAGE can provide accommodations for up to 20 guests when safely moored to the quay.

Multiple seating areas offer space to relax while large windows provide stunning views. Open shelving separates the lounge area from a magnificent formal dining space for 12. On the upper deck, MIRAGE has a chic skylounge. Featuring a large seating area with a wide-screen TV and wet bar, the skylounge opens directly onto the sun deck. Dedicated to health and wellbeing, MIRAGE has a brand new gym space on the sun deck with a wide range of equipment.

The spacious aft deck is the perfect spot for socialising and entertaining with its outdoor lounge and al fresco dining areas plus a custom-built wet bar. Up on the sundeck, relax in the onboard spa pool and surrounding sunpads. Then enjoy dinner and a movie thanks to MIRAGE’s outdoor cinema screen. For a more intimate experience, the bridge deck is set up as an outdoor lounge area with comfortable seating and spectacular views. At the rear of the yacht, a large swim platform with a rain shower will get you closer to the water.

An approved RYA water sports center, thrillseekers will love the wake surfers and skates while the laser dinghies are perfect for practicing your sailing. The collection of towables will keep younger guests busy, and we guarantee that everyone will enjoy MIRAGE’s snorkeling and diving equipment. For those who are just beginning to discover the thrill of watersports, MIRAGE’s crew includes a diving and kiteboarding instructor (Rendezvous diving only).
