The award winning 94.75m/310'10" expedition yacht 'Bliss' was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Makkum shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Remi Tessier and she was completed in 2021. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of De Voogt.

Bliss has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests in 9 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 41 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Her features include an elevator, underwater lights, beach club, gym and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

Bliss is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel-electric Caterpillar (3516E) 3,004hp engines running at 1800rpm, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board promises exceptional comfort levels at anchor or on any voyage. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠ 100A1 SSC Yacht, Mono, G6, ECO [ ✠] LMC, UMS classification society rules.

Feadship celebrates launch of 95m Bliss 

The makkum yard debuts this polar certified hybrid….

The subject of enormous owner involvement and the epitome of the custom build experience, Bliss is a family yacht that benefits from the latest hybrid propulsion, and with Polar Code certification, is set to be a world traveller.

Bliss is a displacement superyacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and showcases exterior styling developed by the owner and Studio De Voogt. The yacht has a clean and highly symmetrical design with her tenders and a large fleet of toys concealed. 

According to Feadship, The owner’s involvement has been paramount to the success of both the exterior and interior design, with cooperation between designer Jan Schaffers of Studio De Voogt for the exterior design and Rémi Tessier for the interior. 

Advanced security and life-safety systems have been discretely incorporated. De Voogt Naval Architects has been heavily involved in the design and engineering of the hybrid propulsion system to enable the yacht to sail in diesel-electric mode, giving flexibility in terms of its efficient energy consumption and offering significant fuel savings.

M.Y. Bliss has nine guest cabins, multiple large lounges, and an extensive gym and wellness area. This has been combined with expansive exterior deck areas, a large pool, and a commercially certified helideck which converts into a full sports and games deck.

Leisure facilities aside, this is a Feadship built for serious exploration. She is fully equipped and certified to cruise Polar regions, anchor in deep water, or keep its position with her dynamic positioning system. Bliss sails with a top speed of 17 knots and has a range of 6000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Feadship 95m Bliss Departs for Sea Trials

95-metre Feadship superyacht Bliss has left the facility in Makkum as she heads to the North Sea for her first sea trials.

The 95m superyacht became the latest entry into the Superyachts.com Top100 when she was launched by Feadship in May . Previously known as Project 1009, Bliss features a modern exterior profile penned by Feadship ’s own Studio De Voogt, while Rémi Tessier has designed natural and welcoming interiors to promote liveability.

‘ The experienced members of the project team at Feadship in Makkum led by project manager Albert Abma have always taken the extra steps needed to achieve an excellent result,’ said Ron Kleverlaan, Owner’s Representative, upon the launch of Bliss.

‘ Feadship is renowned for offering a unique experience to owners who wish to become personally involved and, in this case, the client embraced every opportunity to play a role. He also thoroughly enjoyed meeting the craftspeople and learning about our processes at the yard. Bliss really is a Feadship built  with  as well as for her owner, ’ said Albert Abma, Project Manager.

Bliss has open and inviting interiors, characterised by high ceilings to add to the sense of space while there are nine luxurious guest cabins. The vast deck spaces on this superyacht are filled with an exciting array of amenities, from large pool to the fully equipped gym and wellness area. For extra adventure and convenience, there is a commercially certified helideck, which also converts into a full sports and games deck.

Buckeye Bonanza: $19.95M Perk-Packed Megamansion Is Ohio’s Most Expensive Listing

Hello, Ohio .

A perk-packed property in the Buckeye State has just landed on the market for $19,995,000. It’s the state’s most expensive residential listing , the Wall Street Journal first reported.

The six-bedroom, 20,686-square-foot megamansion in Hunting Valley features some fancy amenities, including a “man cave, plunge pool, and three garages with parking for 20 cars.”

If the mansion sells for the asking price, it will set a state record, the Journal noted.

The owners invested some $20 million to develop the property, which they bought in 2018.

The spread on a 61-acre parcel along the Chagrin River was crafted by architect Charles Fazio and “world renowned yacht interior designer Ari Loar ,” the listing notes.

Interior highlights include a Bentley home chandelier, marble flooring, and a dining room with a peacock mosaic mural. The chef’s kitchen features quartzite and marble counters, as well as a custom La Cornue Chateau range.

The primary suite impresses with an atrium with a custom-painted window ceiling and includes dual baths, a fireplace, and a private patio with an additional fireplace.

But the lower level is where the home truly hums. Here, you’ll find a state-of-the-art gym, sauna, steam room, and entertainment area with a bar, billiard table, stage, and wine room.

On the home’s second level, there are five bedrooms with en suite bathrooms plus a screening room.

Outside amenities include a four-season room, plunge pool, bocce court, and greenhouse. An arched breezeway leads to a detached garage with space for 20 cars and the “man cave” area, which has a bar, golf simulator, and barber room above.

Bonus: You’ll never have to worry about shoveling the driveway in the frigid Ohio winters: It’s heated.

According to the Journal, the property’s price is warranted due to the quality of the finishes, the acreage, and the upscale locale. Speaking of the locale, the second-most expensive home in the 44022 ZIP code went on the market three weeks ago for $4,895,000 and already has an offer in place.

This morning saw a flurry of activity at the feadship yard in makkum as the dutch shipbuilders launched 95m hybrid motor yacht bliss. the product of close owner involvement and ‘the epitome of custom build experience’, bliss is built for quality time with family onboard and benefits from the latest hybrid propulsion and polar code certification..

Previously known as Project 1009, Feadship's latest entry into the Superyachts.com Top 100 - the aptly named BLISS - is the ultimate pleasure yacht. 

Both the yacht’s interior and exterior design is the result of heavy involvement by the owner on the grander and finer details. The result, springing straight from the drawing boards of Feadship’s own Studio De Voogt, can be described as an elegant mixture of timeless and modern design elements. Rémi Tessier is responsible for the interiors, designed to feel natural and welcoming for ultimate comfort and livability. 

Feadship’s latest giant of the sea is born from years of intricate fine-tuning, expert engineering, planning and hardwork by its talented craftspeople. Built for an active family with a penchant for world exploration, Bliss was built to the highest standards of quality and performance.

Bliss incorporates cutting-edge security and life-safety systems discretely and efficiently into her design and engineering. De Voogt Naval Architects exercised great efforts in implementing the hybrid propulsion system to ensure the yacht is able to cruise in diesel-electric mode. 

In terms of design, Bliss’ interior spaces are characterised by high ceilings to give an open and spacious feel. Nine luxurious guest cabins are located onboard, as well as large lounges and a fully-equipped gym and wellness area. Add to this her vast deck spaces, large pool, commercially certified helideck which  converts into a full sports and games deck, making Bliss a truly go-anywhere superyacht. 

Bliss is well-equipped to embark on her world adventures, with Polar certification, deep water anchor and dynamic positioning system. 

The superyacht will reach a top speed of 17 knots, and has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
