Welcome to Green Pond Tackle & The Haven Marina

Located in the heart of the best boating and fishing on Cape Cod!

For over 60+ years, Green Pond Tackle has continued to provide sales and service of outboard and inboard/outboard marine engines, as well as handle all your winterization, spring commissioning, hauling, storage, shrink wrapping, etc. needs.  Our knowledgeable staff of certified mechanics strive to earn your trust every day.  Green Pond Tackle is here for all your sales and service needs. Adjacent to our sales and service center, is our marina.  In order to avoid confusion with the Green Pond Marina, (which is located diagonally across the bridge from us), we have changed the name of our marina to The Haven Marina . Our slips can accommodate boats from 13’ – 25’ preferably no larger than 8’ beam.  The bridge height can accommodate 8’2” at high tide, so folding bimini tops tend to work best, hard center console tops do not generally fit.

In order to avoid confusion with the Green Pond Marina, (which is located diagonally across the bridge from us), we have changed the name of our marina to The Haven Marina. Located approximately 9 miles from Martha’s Vineyard, boaters are close to Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, Lake Tashmoo, Tarpolin Cove, Menemsha, Woods Hole, etc.

For those who like to fish, we are also close to some of the best striper, sea bass, blue fish and fluke fishing in new england. if clamming or camping is your thing, take your boat over to waquoit bay/washburn island. you’ll need to get a clamming license, and camping reservations can be made at www.reserveamerica.com, marina phone: 508-540-0877, as a member of green pond yacht club, you gain access to our club restaurant, as well as our newest dining area, “chairs on the water”, both of which boast superlative views of the green pond and nantucket sound/martha’s vineyard., there are five unique dining spaces including chairs on the water, the bar, main dining room, the deck, and upstairs (the crow’s nest and the observation deck), so you always have a place at the table that feels right for you and your guests. the food is superb and the wait staff is committed to making your experience here a memorable one., gpyc phone : 508-540-5497.

We heard nice things about the adjacent Yacht Club (nice view, good food). We seriously thought about joining the club but are thinking twice after hearing that the owner was putting up a half way house next to it. Hope it's not true but if so definitely not joining.

Looking for a Cape Cod waterfront hotel? Our Falmouth hotel is the answer. Come to Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging. You will be treated to a beautiful wooded setting, spacious lawns, and a breathtaking ocean inlet. All of our Falmouth, MA waterfront rentals feature a slider to a balcony or patio overlooking the water. All of our Cape Cod accommodations are heated and air conditioned, have private bath with tub and shower, cable TV, coffee maker, phone, and free high-speed wireless Internet access.

All of our units have at least a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee maker. Many of our units have a full kitchen. We also have a three bedroom cottage with a working fireplace. We have a kiddy pool and a large outdoor pool that is open from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day weekend and is heated to 84 degrees. We have free paddleboats and rowboats and free dock space for our guest’s boats.

We have been to here many times. Wonderful food and wonderful service if I could give higher than a 5 I would.

This restaurant has a really cool vibe and the people there are all really nice. The new owner changed the staff and the new chef is amazing! Had the chicken pot stickers and OMG sooooo good!

They claim to have best food in town. This is not so. Food is OK mediocre at best.Its a little overpriced. The current chef is rude arrogant and unstable and should definitely be replaced. He is an accident waiting to happen, no customer skills and too full of himself to attract new members, as stated he needs to be replaced. The club itself is nice and so are the members, at least the ones I have met. The bar is small and does get crowded at times although it seems that many of the original members have stopped coming in so maybe this situation will improve. The only problem is the chef. The owner and his wife are very nice and so is May the bartender.

Got a gift certificate to use here and had a fabulous meal. Oyster Rockefeller tasty variation. Scallop dish superb and swordfish done perfectly. My friend had the Portuguese stew and was talking about it for days after. Shelly the pastry chef and server was professional attentive and made some great deserts. She also handled our reservations as we were not members.

This is a small local club that offer some of the best meals in Falmouth. It has a very comfortable personality, offers a nice view and is compliment with great service. As a private club, you can almost always get a reservation during the summer. They offer dining on the deck overlooking the water when it warms up. In season they offer lunch as well. A town dock across the street provides transient dockage to those who want to arrive by boat. The best part is the dues to join are probably the lowest in the area. Social activities are offered as well. This truly a hidden gem!
