Emsworth Yacht Harbour

Emsworth Yacht Harbour is a family-owned marina located at the northern end of Chichester Harbour in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a short walk into the village of Emsworth which has a range of independent shops, restaurants and pubs.

The marina has 211 fully serviced pontoon berths including a 5 berth visitor pontoon and hardstanding for 200 boats.

Boat moving equipment includes a 50-tonne travel hoist, a crane and a Wise boat parker. On site there is an award-winning café, The Deck , and a range of services including a chandlery, two shipwrights, outboard engine specialists and an RYA onshore training centre . Diesel and calor gas are sold during office hours (8 am to 4.30 pm every day).

The marina is part of the RYA Active Marina programme and runs a number of annual events for berthholders including a Summer Party, cruises, socials and training.

Our friendly team is available to help you with your berthing and boat storage needs offering a full range of marina and boatyard facilities on site. including The Deck cafe, Free Wi-fi, laundry, two classic yacht shipwrights, engine/outboard repair, hardstand/undercover storage and rigging services. Transeurope and an RYA Active Marina with a busy program of events for berthholders during the year. Our friendly team is available to help you with your berthing and boat storage needs and we offer a range of facilities detailed on our facilities page. We are an RYA Active Marina and run a series of events for berthholders during the year.

Emsworth Yacht Harbour

Emsworth Yacht Harbour is a family owned business and an RYA Active Marina, with monthly events for berth holders.

Home to a friendly loyal community, their facilities include The Deck restaurant, shipwrights, engine repair and yacht rigging services. There is a red diesel pump at the harbour pontoon and two toilet and shower facility blocks on site, as well as a launderette and even ironing facilities too.

Did You Know? Emsworth Yacht Harbour was created by Rear Admiral Percy Gick in the 1960s.

The harbour has 200 pontoon berths arranged on five pontoons for yachts and sports boats, plus a visitors pontoon for five or six boats. There is electricity on all the pontoons and water and Wi-Fi.

Did You Know? The marina has a fixed sill at the entrance to retain water in the harbour, even when the tide is out. A depth gauge and tide timetables are used by berth holders to calculate what times they can access the marina at different states of tide.

On a sunny day the Emsworth marina area is a great place to walk around, with views of the very interesting ‘upside down’ houses on stilts to see along the way!
