RAVENOL Outboardoel 4T SAE 10W-40 is a semi-synthetic engine oil with a special formulation for 4-stroke outboard engines with injection according to NMMA FC-W and NMMA FC-W (CAT).

RAVENOL Outboardoel 4T SAE 10W-40 offers perfect lubrication and wear protection through special low-ash additives and excellent corrosion protection.

RAVENOL Outboardoel 4T SAE 10W-40 is blue colored high performance 4-stroke motor oil.

RAVENOL Outboardoel 4T SAE 10W-40 is released and thus meets the requirements of the National Marine Manufacturers Association NMMA FC-W (CAT) for use in engines with catalysts.

Application Note

RAVENOL Outboardoel 4T SAE 10W-40 can be used in all outboard motors according to the enginemanufacturer's specifications, for which oil is recommended according to FC-W and FC-W (CAT).

RAVENOL Outboardoel 4T SAE 10W-40 can also be used for engines operating in seawater.

RAVENOL Outboardoel 4T SAE 10W-40 is particularly suitable for the lubrication of 4-stroke outboard engines subject to high speeds and the heaviest loads.

An innovative synthetic ester-containing engine oil for 4-stroke high-load engines of motorcycles, pit bikes, motards, etc. for off-road (enduro, motocross, trials, etc.) and highway (stuntriding, supermoto, etc.) driving under extreme loads. It was designed for a guaranteed protection of the engine and the durability of the gearbox. Product properties: - A special additive package and a synthetic base ensure a high traction coefficient in friction elements that allow avoiding their wear due to the prevention of skidding and ensure an exact and smooth operation of the clutch during starting, acceleration and driving at a constant speed thus allowing an easy gear shift; - Due to its ester-containing base, it has superior lubricating, antiwear and anti-scuffing properties that reduce fuel consumption, improve the power and service life of the engine. It provides a maximum wear protection of cylinder-piston group and a valve gear; - It was created with an exceptionally stable ester-containing synthetic base and it was designed for extreme operating conditions, it has a superior thermo-oxidative stability and resistance to high temperatures at which it preserves an exceptionally strong oil film; - Due to a high viscosity index, it preserves stable viscous properties at any operating conditions, including high sliding velocities. It ensures exceptionally easy cold starts during winter; - Special detergent-dispersion additives maintain the engine parts ideally clean; - It has excellent antifoam properties and a low evaporation capacity; - High-performance inhibitors ensure excellent anticorrosion properties; - It may be mixed with analogous synthetic oils; - It is compatible with all exhaust control systems. It is designed for petrol-powered 4-stroke engines of motorcycles of all types, all-terrain vehicles (quadricycles), scooters and motor scooters with air and liquid cooling with or without an integrated gearbox, oil bath clutch coupling and “dry” clutch and other two-wheeled vehicles with and without catalytic converters that require operating properties to be of API SL or lower and JASO MA/MA2 level. It is ideal for injection engines. Comply with the manufacturer’s instructions provided in the user’s manual of the engine, especially the oil replacement age!

Mobil 1 motorcycle oils are specifically formulated to help keep motorcycle engines in peak condition for maximum power and long life. Two specially engineered formulas deliver maximum levels of protection, even in extreme riding conditions. These specific formulations are designed to help prolong the life of vital engine parts and transmissions for cruisers and sport bikes. Mobil 1 Racing 4T is for use in on-road, off-road and competition four-stroke motorcycles. Its unique formulation is engineered to help provide high output by helping keep engines clean, optimized for high-temperature durability during long rides or short races and designed for superb engine, clutch and transmission protection. Motor oil is made from crude oil and is used to lubricate, clean, and cool engines. Types of motor oil include conventional, synthetic, diesel, bio-based, hybrid (blends of conventional and synthetic), and recycled oils. Motor oil varies in weight and viscosity, as well as additives that some manufacturers add to the oil during the refining process. A numerical code system created by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) grades motor oils according to viscosity--the higher the number between 0 and 60, the more viscous (thicker) the oil is. Most consumer motor oils are graded by two numbers, with the first number indicating cold weather (Winter or "W") performance.

This oil has a weight of SAE 10W-40, meaning it has an SAE viscosity rating of 10 in cold temperatures and a rating of 40 at normal operating temperature. Always check your vehicle's owner's manual to verify that this is the correct weight of motor oil for your vehicle.

Conventional Motor Oil

This oil is a conventional motor oil, meaning it is refined from crude oil or petroleum products. Conventional motor oils may or may not have additives included after refining. Conventional motor oils are more versatile than synthetic or hybrid motor oils, because they are suitable for use with nearly all types of modern vehicle engines, from cars and trucks to motorcycles, ATVs, farm equipment, and more.

Racing oils are designed for track cars and other types of high-compression vehicles intended for motorsports competition. They contain particular additives for increased engine horsepower and reduced friction on metal parts, and provide special protection for engines with high compression or higher horsepower. Racing oils usually include fewer detergents than regular conventional motor oils.
