Moran Yacht & Ship are delighted to announce the launch of the 400′ (122m) Project JAG.

This revolutionary project is being designed by the talented Venice-based design firm Nuvolari Lenard and she will feature an exquisite interior by the world-renowned Reymond Langton team.

Project JAG is one of seven total projects currently under construction with Moran Yacht & Ship and one of four over 100m.  Our new construction team negotiated the build contract, compiled the technical specifications, and is currently supervising the entire build and expects an on-time and on-budget delivery in 2024.

Lürssen Just Launched a New 400-Foot Gigayacht

Project jag is the owner's third lürssen. his most recent was a 315-footer., michael verdon, michael verdon's most recent stories, this new 262-foot superyacht lets you mix and match 3 interior and exterior designs.

The steel-hulled yacht has a beam of 58’5” with a draft of 15’9”. It will have 11 cabins for 20 guests and crew quarters for 40. The images show five decks, with a large electronics arch that defines the profile. The yacht has a helipad on the foredeck and large sweeping swim platform at the transom.

“This milestone is always a special moment in the construction process,” said Moran Yacht & Ship in announcing the launch. “We are incredibly proud of Project JAG, and her successful delivery early next year will be a testament to our new construction team’s experience, capability, and ingenuity.”

Moran Yacht & Ship and Lürssen have partnered on multiple projects over the years. Its most recent was the 378-foot Ahpo , which was launched last year. That vessel featured a beach club with a mosaicked spa, drop-down sea terrace, hammam, sauna and four pools. It also had a one of the most impressive gyms on a recent launch. The boat was chartered last summer by its Jamaican owner, but was later sold to a new owner, with Moran as the broker.

Project Jag is one of seven projects that Moran Yacht & Ship is overseeing, including four above 100 meters (328 feet). It is scheduled to be delivered to its owner sometime next year.

PROJECT JAG: Lürssen’s superyacht launched

Everyone has seen Project JAP on the Kiel channel, a mastodon taking shape and presenting its credentials to the public very well.

Project JAG, a superyacht almost 18 meters wide, hit the water of the Baltic Sea for the first time last June 22nd. The launch, in Lürssen typical old-fashioned style, was carried out by sliding a raw , unadorned JAG off the rails at the Rendsburg shipyard in Germany.

The JAG’S construction project is being carried out under the supervision of Moran Yacht & Ship , which in turn has a” a long-standing relationship with the customer”. 122 meters long, JAG will replace the “old” 96-meter yacht designed by Lürssen and in the possession of the owner, who decided to take this further step by opting for a very substantial “upgrade” .

JAG’s captain

Captain of JAG will be Kyle Fultz . A reiterated assignment for Fultz who, including the JAG, together with a crew of 39, is set to captain the third of the Lürssen yachts owned by the US owner. The JAG will accommodate up to 20 guests on board and has 11 cabins .

All-Italian exterior design

JAG’ exterior design was entrusted to Nuvolari Lenard, the Venetian studio that has overseen dozens of yachts and superyachts and is the result of a partnership between nautical architect Carlo Nuvolari and renowned designer Dan Lenard. The boat’s sleek forms and sharp geometries, although minimally revealed as the boat is in its current state, in no way detract from its idea of elegance and “ harmonious proportions”.

British interiors

Interiors, instead, are by Reymond Langton , the design studio based in Bath, Somerset. Lürssen has defined them as  «a bespoke tribute to the lifestyle of JAG’s owner”.

Motor Yacht

JAG is a custom motor yacht launched in 2023 by Lurssen Yachts, in Germany.

Lürssen has remained a family-run German shipyard since its inception in 1875 and is now in its fourth generation of private ownership. The company was founded by Friedrich Lürssen with a desire to create a leading shipyard in both quality and performance.

JAG measures 122 metres in length, with a max draft of 4.8 feet and a beam of 17.8 feet.

JAG has a steel hull.

It is not necessary to live, it is necessary to sail; This is the firm belief of Italian design company Nuvolari & Lenard. No stranger to high-profile yacht design, the studio has stamped its distinctive style on a number of the ocean’s biggest and brightest.

Her interior design is by Reymond Langton Design.

Accommodation

JAG accommodates up to 20 guests in 11 cabins. She also houses room for up to 40 crew members.

The 122m/400'3" motor yacht 'Kismet' offers the unmissable chance to charter a brand new superyacht, having only launched this year. Delivered by the German shipyard Lurssen and featuring interior styling by British designer Reymond Langton Design she can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 8 cabins.

Built in 2024, Kismet is designed for exquisite indoor/outdoor living and boasts voluminous interior and exterior spaces across several decks: ideal for bronzing, lounging or entertaining. She is equipped with a dancefloor, beauty salon, spa, elevator, underwater lights, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Kismet offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 8 suites. A crew of thirty-six, who specialize in creating exceptional charters, are on hand to provide guests with a yacht charter vacation to remember.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained, notably a dancefloor where you and your guests can celebrate in style. Meanwhile the latest beauty and hair treatments are available in the luxurious beauty room or the steam room is great for your skin and a perfect place to unwind. Soothe tired limbs and reinvigorate yourself in the sauna and take the opportunity to be thoroughly pampered and indulged in the spa. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun and in addition head to the beach club and take advantage of indoor-outdoor living and entertaining. Maintain your fitness routine and work out in the well-equipped gym or elsewhere, soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.

Kismet benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, notably an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Make your evenings more memorable with stunning underwater lights or whether you want to work, use social media or stream movies on board this yacht, you can with Wi-Fi connectivity. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull.

Onboard Kismet has a range of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Principle among these are submarines allowing you to discover the magical world beneath the waves, a submarine experience will be the most awe-inspiring adventure you could imagine. Another excellent feature are SEABOBs providing agile cruising and diving. Also there are WindSurfers - addictive and great fun. When it comes to Tenders, Kismet has you covered - with four tenders, including a 11.2m/36'9" Hodgson Limo Tender.

Kismet is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.
