Shakira Hangs Out with F1 Star Lewis Hamilton on Boat Outing After 2023 Miami Grand Prix

Over the weekend, Shakira was photographed with Tom Cruise at the racing event

There's a "She Wolf" in your boat, Lewis Hamilton .

On Wednesday, Shakira was spotted hanging out with the British Formula One star and friends for a boat outing in Miami after attending the 2023 Grand Prix over the weekend.

The "Hips Don't Lie" performer, 46, donned a casual lavender look, while Hamilton, 38, wore swim trunks for the occasion — which came shortly after they reportedly met at Cipriani restaurant following the races.

At the Grand Prix, Shakira was also photographed enjoying the event with Tom Cruise as part of a group. Cruise, 60, also posed with Fast & Furious actors Vin Diesel and Ludacris at the race.

While chatting with Martin Brundle for Sky Sports on Sunday, Cruise did not hesitate to express his support for Hamilton. "Lewis always," he said. "He's a great friend of mine. I hope he has a great day."

The race was ultimately won by Dutch-Belgian driver Max Verstappen, with Hamilton placing sixth.

Shakira's attendance at the Grand Prix went down one day after she received Billboard's first Woman of the Year award at the inaugural Latin Women in Music gala . During her acceptance speech, she seemingly shared her thoughts on her headline-generating split from ex Gerard Piqué .

"This has been a year of seismic change in my life where I've felt more than ever — and very personally — what it is to be a woman," she told the audience while accepting her award .

"It's been a year where I've realized we women are stronger than we think, braver than we believed, more independent than we were taught to be," she continued.

"Because what woman hasn't at some time in her life forgotten herself because she's seeking the attention and love of someone else? It happened to me, more than once," she added.

Shakira, who announced her separation from the soccer star last June after first confirming their relationship in March 2011 , then talked about realizing her worth as a woman.

"But there comes a time in the life of every woman where she no longer depends on someone else to love and accept herself just as she is," she said. "A time when the search for someone else is replaced by the search for oneself."

Shakira added, "A time when the desire to be perfect is replaced by the desire to be authentic, and where finding someone who is faithful is less important than being faithful to ourselves."

Shakira and her rumored new boyfriend Lewis Hamilton continued to fuel romance rumors while enjoying a cruise along the Miami coastline. 

Hours after eyewitnesses revealed the duo 'crossed paths at a fancy restaurant' on Wednesday, the Formula 1 star, 38, picked up the 46-year-old Colombian superstar on a $230,000 speed boat, outside her $20 million waterfront mansion, located in Biscayne Bay.

As the singer met up with the British racing driver, he promptly extended his hand out to her as she climbed aboard. 

They were accompanied by 33-year-old American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, one of Hamilton's closest friends.

For their outing, the mother-of-two showcased her famous curves in a purple fringed bikini top and matching shorts.

Shortly before the yacht day under the sun, the She Wolf songstress crossed paths with Lewis at Miami's Cipriani restaurant. Although the two didn't dine together, he sent a smile in her direction as she passed his table.

Shakira was later spotted attending the F1 Grand Prix of Spain at Circuit de Barcelona-Cataluny over this past weekend on June 4, and watched Hamilton compete from the stands.

He came in second place, with Max Verstappen taking the first place victory. Afterwards, the two enjoyed a night out on the town, and appeared in an Instagram photo shared by singer-songwriter, Mustafa.

Hamilton's left arm could be seen wrapped around Shakira's waist as they flashed cheerful smiles to the camera. In a caption added towards the bottom of the snap, Mustafa penned, 'May God protect the engineers.'

The budding romance with the British race car driver comes after Shakira officially split from soccer player and longtime partner, Gerard Pique, last year in June 2022. The former couple share sons Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight.

She first began publicly dating the sports star in March 2011 after meeting on set of the music video for Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).

However, the pair announced their split years later with a joint statement, per Page Six . 'We regret to confirm that we are separating.'

'For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding.'

Following the break up, allegations that Gerard had cheated on the star circulated, but both Shakira and Pique never commented on the claims. In late November 2022, the former couple came to a custody agreement over their sons.

'Our sole objective is to provide our children with the utmost security and protection and hope that they can continue with their lives in a safe and calm environment,' the two stated at the time to People .

A source informed the publication that the agreement is 'best for their kids,' and further revealed, 'For eight years they have been living in Barcelona, but she and the kids are moving to Miami, where all her maternal family live.'

Earlier this year in April, Shakira made the official move from Spain to Miami, Florida, and shared a post on Instagram to reminisce on her time in Barcelona and sent gratitude for the years spent there.

'Thank you to everyone who has been there to cheer me up, dried my tears, inspired me and made me grow,' she wrote towards the end of her statement in Spanish.

'Thank you to my Spanish audience who have always wrapped me in their love and loyalty. For you, just a see you later and, as my father said so many times, see you around the curves!'

Shakira has referenced to her split from Gerard in recent tracks she released, such as BZRP Music Session #53 and most recently, ACRÓSTICO, which she dropped shortly before Mother's Day. The soccer player has since been romantically linked to 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti.

She was also briefly linked to Hollywood actor, Tom Cruise, after the two were seen hanging out at the Miami Grand Prix last month as well.

However, a source told Us Weekly that she is not taking the romance rumors with Tom seriously and finds the speculation 'hilarious.'

'Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him. He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn't focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment.'

The insider added that, 'She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.'

Shakira and hamilton were accompanied by her kids and some friends..

Shakira was joined by none other than Lewis Hamilton this past Wednesday. The pair was accompanied by friends and by Shakira’s children as they enjoyed a boat ride in Miami. They were previously spotted at a restaurant, prompting many to wonder if they were on a date.

Shakira wore a lilac outfit made up of a matching top and skirt with a long sleeve shirt on top. She wore her hair loose and perfect for the beach. Hamilton wore a black shirt with matching shorts and a white cap on. The photo shows Shakira boarding the boat with Lewis offering her a helping hand.

Shakira’s son, Milan , was also photographed on the boat, talking to his mother.

Earlier that day, it was reported that Shakira was eating at Cipriani, where Hamilton was also in attendance. The two appeared to have run into each other and made plans to hang out more afterward.

Lewis Hamilton is a driver for Mercedes and is a seven-time champion. He finished fourth at the Miami Grand Prix, where Shakira was in attendance.

In the case of Shakira, ever since her move to the US, the singer has been incredibly active, appearing on shows, events, and hanging out with some of her friends in the industry. Hamilton isn’t the only famous man that Shakira has been linked to in the past week; at Miami’s Grand Prix, she was photographed and recorded in conversation with  Tom Cruise . And while the two may be friends, a source claims that Cruise is “extremely interested” in pursuing her.

SHAKIRA and Lewis Hamilton were spotted enjoying a sunny boat ride together days after being snapped at dinner.

The F1 legend was seen appearing to help the Hips Don't Lie singer onto the open top cruiser as they enjoyed a day out with pals in Miami .

Shakira was picked up from the back of her £16million Miami Beach mansion before cruising around Biscayne Bay.

The 46-year-old sported a fringed lilac bikini top and matching shorts, wearing her famous long wavy hair loose over her shoulders.

She was all smiles as she boarded the vessel which had an inflatable crocodile strapped to the top - and appeared to be greeted by Lewis.

The Mercedes driver, 38, was wearing a white cap, sunglasses, a black sleeveless top and checkerboard shorts - showing off his distinctive tattoos .

Lewis, the most successful F1 driver of all time, had been in town for the Miami Grand Prix over the weekend - finishing in 6th place.

Smiling at each other, Shakira appeared to join 92-time race winner Lewis and pals at his table in a short video snapped by a fan.

It comes after the singer was spotted  mingling with Tom Cruise  at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday.

Shakira announced her separation form footballer Gerard Pique last May after spending 11 years together.

The Colombian singer-songwriter was  reportedly "evicted" from her Barcelona home  by Pique's dad last month, sparking her move back to Miami.

The mum-of-two made no mention of the eviction order in the farewell message she posted on  Instagram  after being pictured leaving the Catalan capital with her two children to start a new life in Florida.

Shakira and Pique confirmed in November they had reached a child custody agreement  after a marathon 12-hour meeting with their lawyers .

They signed the accord at a court in Barcelona the following month.

As part of the agreement Pique,  now dating 24-year-old Catalan beauty Clara Chia,  will spend holiday time with his children.

Shakira’s wish to move to Miami, where she used to live and where some of of her family are based, is understood to have been the sticking point in the former couple’s previous failure to strike an out-of-court settlement. 

The singer came under fire in March after performing her diss track with  Argentinian  DJ Bizarrap, in which she blasts Pique and his new girlfriend, on the  Jimmy Fallon  late-night show earlier this month.

The singer's  explosive song , left little doubt that she was referring to her former partner and his younger lover.

In the track, she took a swipe at Clara’s age with the lyrics: “I’m worth two 22s. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo, you traded a Rolex for a Casio.”

Pique responded to the song by turning up to work in an £8,000 Renault Twingo.

He also boasted that his new seven-a-side project the King’s League had landed a  sponsorship deal with Casio  - adding that the cheaper watch would “last a lifetime”.

Pique said in a subsequent interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais he was “very happy” following the dramatic changes in his life which have included the split with Shakira and retirement from football.

He was spotted late last month romancing his new girlfriend with red roses as the  controversial couple holidayed in Dubai .

Hamilton and Shakira were also seen enjoying a dinner together within the past week.

Shakira recently ended her marriage to ex-Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique.

Hamilton collected Shakira from her £16m Miami mansion on a yacht and took her for a spin on the water.

She was also hanging out with actor Tom Cruise during the grid walk at last weekend’s F1 Miami Grand Prix.

Miles Chamley-Watson, an American fencer and one of Hamilton’s friends, was also on the yacht trip.

Lewis Hamilton and pop superstar Shakira were pictured together among a group of friends on a boat following the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday.

Shakira was among those walking the grid in Miami over the weekend as part of a star-studded paddock in Florida, with her reportedly having moved to the Magic City following her split with footballer Gerard Pique last year.

After the race, Mercedes driver Hamilton stuck around in Miami and joined Shakira and several others on a boat ride around the city, with paparazzi photographers having snapped the seven-time World Champion helping the pop star aboard.

This came a few days after the duo were spotted dining together in the city after the race took place, with Hamilton spending time in Florida in the aftermath of the latest race of the season.

On the track, Hamilton recovered from a Q2 exit and a P13 grid slot to finish in the top six come the chequered flag in Miami, making multiple overtakes in his final stint to eventually move up seven places compared to his starting position.

His Mercedes team have struggled compared to their hopes heading into the 2023 season, with a large gap to bridge to Red Bull if they are to mount a challenge later on in the year.

“The car came a bit alive midway through the race, and I think to get from 13th to sixth – I’m pretty happy with that,” Hamilton told Sky F1 after the race on Sunday.

“Unfortunately, we started so far behind, but I enjoyed the race. I had a lot of fun just making my way through. It’s nice to be able to have a battle with people and good points for the team.

“So a big thank you to the team again this weekend for just keeping their head down and continuing to push even though we aren’t where we want to be. There’s still great morale within the team.”

Shakira has been spotted enjoying a day out with Lewis Hamilton as the pair soaked up the Miami sun – where the Formula 1 Grand Prix has recently being held.

Songstress Shakira split from her long-term partner Gerard Piqué last year and, after a bitter break up, the mum-of-two now appears to be embracing single life with open arms.

Footballing star Gerard, whom Sharkia shares two sons with, has already moved on with a PR student 12 years his junior .

As Gerard moves on, Shakira has been rubbing shoulders with Lewis, 36, as the pair joined a group of friends for a boat trip.

It’s believed that the Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker was picked up by Lewis at the back of her £20 million Miami mansion, with the racing driver offering her a hand as she climbed aboard the boat.

They were accompanied on the cruise by American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, one of Lewis’ closest friends.

Their boat trip came just a day after both Lewis and Shakira were spotted dining in the same restaurant together.

While Lewis is likely to only be in town for the Grand Prix, Shakira relocated to Miami following her split from Gerard. The Colombian-born singer had resided in Spain for the duration of their relationship, where Gerard plays for Barcelona.

Lewis isn’t the only one Shakira has been seen spending time with of late, the 46 year old was also spotted with Tom Cruise as fans speculated if they were the next hot A-list couple.

Hollywood actor Tom is said to be “extremely interested” in the bachelorette, with the pair having so-called “chemistry” together.

A source continued to tell Page Six : “Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom.”

The publication also claimed that Tom is so infatuated with the songstress that he allegedly sent her flowers.

However, much to the actor’s dismay, it’s said that Shakira has “no interest” in dating the Mission Impossible star.

“Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him,” a source told Us Weekly after photos of the celebrity pair emerged.

“He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn’t focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.”

Shakira’s career has been going swimmingly in the wake of her split from Gerard, with the hitmaker breaking 14 Guinness World Records in March for her diss track aimed at her footballer ex.
